MK HeroClix, the 26th of April, Brute Frozen Battlefields

Welcome to another MK HeroClix post. First off is the HeroClix news for the week. This week there were previews of Lt. Gordon and GCPD Riot Officer from DC: The Dark Knight Rises; Superman from the new DC: Justice League set which I will be calling DC:Justice League 2 on the blog as there is already another set called Justice League and Thor Free Comic Book Day Figure.

This weeks game was Soldiers and Warriors. 500 points, you can only use characters with the Soldier or Warrior keywords. From the  figures I pulled from the Avengers Movie set I made this team:

2x Frost Giant (005 Avengers Movie) 80 + Armour Piercing (Feat) 10 = 90 x 2 = 180
Laufey (030 Avengers Movie) 180
Frost Giant Champion (031 Avengers Movie) 90
Asgardian Brawler (004 Fast Forces Hammer of Thor) 50
=500 points and four re-rolls.

Frost Giants from the Thor film
On the first round I was up against Darren. He was using a Soldier theme team he used several weeks ago who were:

Captain America (040 Captain America) 83
Crimson Dynamo (042 Captain America) 146
Darkstar (043 Captain America) 98
Domino (017 Giant Size X-Men) 69
Moon Knight (006 Avengers) 38
Winter Soldier (050 Avengers) 70
=504 points and two re-rolls.

It was a tough battle and Darren did roll three critical misses, but he ended up creaming my whole team. So I lost that game. On the second round I was up against Michael. He was using an UNSC theme team who were:

2x ODST with Magnum Pistol (003 Halo) 71 x 2 = 142
Marine with Battle Rifle (002 Halo) 54
2x Spartan with Plasma Rifle (019 Halo) 87 x 2 = 174
Master Chief and Arbiter (044 Halo) 200
=570 points and four re-rolls.

My team destroyed his whole team and if memory serves me right I only lost one Frost Giant in this game. We realised he mistakenly fielded one to many  ODSTs at the end of the game when Darren totaled up his team to see to the team total for victory point as Michael could not remember his team total. On the third and final round I was up against Adrian. He was using a Covenant themed team who were:

2x Elite with Carbine (016 Halo) 84 x 2 = 168
Grunt with Plasma Grenade (026 Halo) 42
Arbiter with Beam Rifle (036 Halo) 87
3x Elite with Plasma Rifle 69 x 3 = 207
=504 points and four re-rolls.

This was a long and close game. All that was left on the field was my Laufey and his Grunt and an Elite when time was called. Due to points I won that game making this week two wins and a lost.
Next week should be REVs. 600 points, six figures no more no less. Two figures must Rookies, two must be Experience and two must be veteran.

Now for this week's DreamClix section. This week I am doing ideas for the Guncannon from the original Mobile Suit Gundam, Aquarius from Fairy Tail, Kubota from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Sid from Soul Eater. But first I have designs of jet mode of AEU-09 Enact from Mobile Suit Gundam 00, RX-78-2 Gundam with Beam Rifle from the original Mobile Suit Gundam, the Johnny and Yosaku duo figure from One Piece and Jackie Chun from Dragon Ball.

Next is the Guncannon from the original Mobile Suit Gundam. The RX-77-2 Guncannon was the second mobile suit design model that stemmed from the Earth Federation's "Vinsion Project" or "V Project" in the anime Mobile Suit Gundam. It was developed during the One Year War in response to the Principality of Zeon's MS-05 Zaku I and MS-06 Zaku II mobile suits. The Guncannon was a step up from the RX-75-4 Guntank; while the Guntank was more "tank" than mobile armor, the Guncannon was a true mobile suit with limbs. However, it did share the Guntank's Core Block System, using the same FF-X7 Core Fighter. It is based on the data of the RXM-1 prototype bipedal robot. The first Guncannon was the prototype RX-77-1A Guncannon A, which had poor mobility due to its heavy armour. The second version, RX-77-2 Guncannon, corrected this problem. As defensive weapons, it mounted two 60 mm vulcan guns in the head. However, the Guncannon's primary weapons were the twin 240 mm cannons mounted on the shoulders, which were used for the mobile suit's design purpose: mid-range support. The Guncannon was also the first mobile suit used by the Earth Federal Forces capable of firing a beam rifle. The Guncannon was less mobile but more heavily armored than its cousin, the RX-78-2 Gundam. Unfortunately, the extra armor provided no additional protection against beam weapons, and powerful conventional weapons (such as the Giant Bazooka used by some Zeon mobile suits) were capable of causing severe damage. It also lacked any sort of melee weapon, making it helpless when an enemy mobile suit got too close. Also, its 240 mm cannons only held 20 rounds per cannon, meaning the pilot had to learn how to conserve cannon ammunition and use it wisely. Where the Guntank was designed as a long range support unit, the Guncannon is the mid range support for the Gundam. Like the GM, the Guncannon was also manufactured at Jaburo. It should have Running Shot, Invulnerability, Toughness, a special called "Take Cover" and Range Combat Expert.
Take Cover: Guncannon gain +2 to its Defence value from Hindering terrain instead of +1.
It should have about four or five clicks of health and starting combat values of Speed 6, Attack 10, Defense 17, Damage 2 and Range 8 with two targets. Its team ability should be the Mobile Suit one and its keywords should be Earth Federation Forces. The next Mobile Suit Gundam UC idea should be Kai Shiden.

Next is Aquarius from Fairy Tail. Aquarius, "The Water Bearer", is a Celestial Spirit that is one of the 12 Golden Zodiac Keys. Aquarius is a very moody and ill-tempered woman who often threatens to kill her owner, Lucy. One of the most important distinctions between Aquarius and the other Celestial Spirits is that while the other spirits serve Lucy obediently, Aquarius is irritated by her. Whenever she is summoned, depending on her mood she will either attack the opponent, Lucy, or both. The risk of summoning her is great because Lucy has said several times she is her most powerful Celestial Spirit. Despite this, she does care for Lucy's safety. She is very kind and loving towards her boyfriend, Scorpio, to which she shows a completely different side of herself. She also goes as far as to threaten Lucy to keep quiet about her moodiness in front of Scorpio unless she wants to be a "drowned corpse". Whenever Lucy is within her presence Aquarius has a tendency to make remarks about having a boyfriend, as well as the fact that Lucy doesn't have one. Despite all this, Aquarius has helped Lucy out several times over the course of the series. She should have two specials called "Giant Water Attack" and "Underwater" Swimming, the Transporter Dolphin symbol and Shape Change.
Giant Water Attack: If Aquarius is with three squares of a character called Lucy Heartfilia and is in water terrain, she can use Pulse Wave.
Underwater Swimming: If Aquarius is in water terrain and there is no friendly characters within three squares of her. Opposing characters can not draw line of sight to her.
She should have about four or five clicks of health and starting combat values of Speed 10, Attack 10, Defense 17, Damage 2 and Range 6 with one target. She should not have a team ability and her keywords should be Fairy Tail, Mystical and Summon. The next Fairy Tail idea should be a Captain of the Guard.

Next is what might be the last Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex idea, Kubota. Kubota is an army Intelligence Officer and former colleague of Aramaki. He often provides Aramaki with inside information. He should have a special called "Old Friend".
Old Friend: If there is a friendly character called Chief Aramaki within eight squares of Kubota, Kubota can use Perplex.
He should have about three clicks of health and starting combat values of Speed 7, Attack 9, Defense 16, Damage 1 and Range 4 with one target. He should not have a team ability and his keywords should be Soldier and JSDF. That is it for now for Ghost in the Shell, I might do some more at a later date after re-watching the series.

Next is Sid from Soul Eater. Sidney "Sid" Barett is a man who died and was subsequently turned into a zombie by Dr. Stein. Sid constantly talks about how he has always been "that kind of man" (referring to when he was alive) and the things he could not do in life but now can since he has become a zombie. Sid also seems to display a father-like role for Black Star, as he constantly tries to teach Black Star how to follow the Assassin's Rules and not be so self-centered, much like a real father would for his child. He should have two specials called "Compulsive Burial" and "Living End", Stealth, Invulnerability and Toughness.
Compulsive Burial: Sid can use Charge. He ignores all outdoor terrain for movement purposes.
Living End: Sid can use Super Strength. Standard objects that he uses in a close combat attack are not destroyed.
H should have about seven clicks of health and starting combat values of Speed 7, Attack 10, Defense 18, Damage 2 and Range 0. His team ability should the for DWMA one (rename of the Soul Eater one) and his keywords should be DWMA and Monster. The next Soul Eater idea should be Franken Stein.

Lastly is the DreamClix Dial Designs page update news. On Sunday there was an update to the DreamClix Dial Designs page, which was the first of two Cosplay Deviants updates. There was two new Cosplay Cards in this update. The second Cosplay Deviants update happened on Tuesday, which had nothing new.  Also there was an update on Thursday. It was the first of three Death Note updates. There was nothing new, both Light Yagami and Kira had some major changes. I have include the new dial design of Kira below to show these changes. There will be no DreamClix Dial Designs update this Sunday as this weekend I am going to be too busy to do one.

Well that is it for this week. Until next time, Mecha Up.

Neoscream's Life from the week of the 16th to the 22nd of April

X-78-2 Gundam
Welcome to another week of my life. For those new  to the blog, the "Neoscream's Life" posts are basically a weekly dairy of mine. The week before last I have been training on my trike, but what did last week bring.

On Monday I worked from 9:50AM to 5PM. As both my parents's cars were in the way when I got home from work, I could not do any practicing on my trike, damn it. As my Neoscream's Life post was ready to post I decided to post it early.
Watched: Episode 12 of GaoGaiGar, episode 11 of season two of Mobile Suit Gundam 00, episode 4 of Devil May Cry, the Gadget Show 360 promo video and episode 388 of One Piece.
Listened: Episode 43 of ClixCast.
Read: Chapter 45 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelist.
Brought and Received: I ordered volume 7 of Mobile Suit Gundam: Ecole Du Ciel.

On Tuesday morning before work I did some photo copying for work. The Area Manager had put me in charge of finding information about identifying fake bank notes to share with the other stores and train staff in all the areas stores in telling the different at a later date. I worked from 9:50AM to 2:40PM. I  managed to get some more practicing  done on my trike, but after over two laps I it started to hail, so I called it a day. In the evening I finally ordered a case of the HeroClix Avengers Movie set and a rain cover for my trike.
Watched: This week’s episode of WWE Raw and episode 201 of the subtitled version of Naruto: Shippuden.
Listened: Episode 315 of Anime Pulse and part of Special 5 Part 1 of Gundanm!@MAHQ.

On Wednesday I worked from 9:50AM to 4:30PM. Due to the weather I never got round to do any more practicing. I did an update to the DreamClix Dial Designs page in the evening as I was off work tomorrow, but knew I would be busy as my mum was off to and had a lot planned.
Watched: Episode 1 of Bakuman, Podnami Promo 1: First Voyage, episode 389 of One Piece and episode 3 of Persona 4.
Listened: The rest of Special 5 Part 1 of Gundanm!@MAHQ and episode 77 of the Unofficial One Piece Podcast.
Read: Chapter 90 of Dragon Ball.
Brought and Received: I received the new Neo magazine in the post.

First thing on Thursday morning both me and my mum went to Stony Stratford to get some pet food from the vets and to get our hair cut. I really needed it. We were originally planning on going to Staples next to get a ton of printer ink, but we decided to do that on Monday instead to save time. We then went to Morrisons for some breakfast and for three days food shopping. When we got back I unpacked the food shopping and then I did some my practicing on the Trike. I was finally getting use to the gears and understanding how they work, but sadly as I was about to start my fourth lap, the gear chin came off. As I have no experience about these kinds of things so I had to wait until my dad can do it, which according to my mum would be the weekend. While looking at a computer game magazine I pick up while food shopping I came up with a very interesting concept for a game. I am not going to say what it is here, but I am planning on talking to Richard and Darren H at coffee and Nathan and Pete at role-play about it. We had a phone call from Talk-Talk. Our contract with them for the internet was about to end and they want to know if we wanted to renew. My mum asked them to phone her again Monday and then we checked the deals from Sky and BT. Never Sky or Talk-Talk are offering fiber optic broadband, BT was. Due to this both Sky and Talk-Talk could only offer us internet speeds of between 0.3 and 1.3 Mb, while BT offers 52Mb, over 60 times faster then the others' average. However, we decided to think more about it and decide what to do on Sunday. Like normal I went to HeroClix in the evening. On the way home I talked to Darren S about is and he explained how easy it is to pop the chain back on. I decided to try to fix it tomorrow before work.
Watched: Episode 26 of Mobile Report Gundam Wing.

Friday morning I finished off and posted this week's MK HeroClix post. As I did not thought I had the time to fix my trike and practice it, I did not rush to fix it. Half an hour before I needed to leave for work I went to fix the trike, but found my dad had already done it last night. Wish someone told my about that, I would have gone off pracicing earlier. Sadly I did not have the time to do it then. I worked from 12PM to 4PM. When I got home I did only two laps on the trike due to the weather. In the evening I got my case of HeroClix Avengers Movie and send all the time checking them out and ordering some more stuff of eBay. I also posted a list of what I pulled. These has really excited me for the Avengers movie.
Listened: Special 5 Part 1 of Gundanm!@MAHQ.
Read: Chapter 10 of Mobile Suit Gundam 00.

At coffee on Saturday morning there was just me, Darren H and Richard this week Simon. We talked about the broadband problem my family has been having. They pointed out that if we had problems with the phone line it would be BT we had to deal with as they own the phone lines and the other companies only rent the line off them. So BT is the best bet. I worked from 12PM to 4PM. After work I went to Richard's for role-play. It was the first of Nathan's Star Wars campaign. We were on our way to the Jedi Academy to train up as Jedi, when our ship was attacked by drones and then we ended up on a planet in the middle of a battle between Drones and Storm Troopers. Pete is my back so role-play might return to weekly, but it will not be happening next week as things are super busy next week for both me and Richard.
Watched: This week’s episode of WWE Smackdown.

Sunday was a day off work. After talking to my mum about what Darren H and Richard said about the whole Broadband problem and my mum decided to go for BT and made the order then and then. An engineer will be coming on May the 9th to set it up. Hippy , my internet speed is good up from 0.8Mb (average) to a whopping 52Mb. I did an update to the DreamClix Dial Designs page and posted the Cosmic Cosplay post for the week. I managed to do four laps on the trike. I am really getting use to it now.
Watched: The 2012 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix and episodes 202 and 203 of the subtitled version of Naruto: Shippuden and the Unofficial One Piece Vidcast Special Three “Fullmetal Podcast Brotherhood” (Vic Mignogna).

Here is a list of posts that will be posted during the coming week.

Friday the 27th of  April: "MK HeroClix".
Tuesday the 1st of May: "Neoscream's Life".

There is no Cosmic Cosplay this week as this weekend is super busy. Well until next time, Mecha Up.

Sunday 22 April 2012

Cosmic Cosplay for the week of the 16th to the 22nd of April

Ichigo in "Tessen"
LivingSasuke is "Curse"
Hi all and welcome to Naruto special Cosmic Cosplay post. Cosmic Cosplay is a weekly post that happens on a Sunday were I talk about the new Cosplay Deviants sets; any Cosplay Deviants news I learn about; information about updates for CosmicBreak, Star Trek Online and Minecraft; and three DreamClix ideas/designs. As both Cosplay Deviants sets this week were from Naruto Shippuden, this week's DreamClix will be a ninja special.

First off is this week's new Cosplay Deviants sets. On Wednesday there was a set the new male deviant LivingSasuke. The set was called Cursed and in it he cosplays as Sasuka Uchiha. The set on Saturday was finally a set from the Ichigo. The set is called Tessen and in it she cosplays as Temari from the Sand Village.

Next is the CosmicBreak update news. This week two new moe character have been added to the game. These are Rone Amabile and Monica Gold. They are part of The Harp Garapon with alternate versions of at least Aquila Girl, Tomboy Girl and Squidol Girl. Also in this week's Weekly Garapon there this School Crimrose, Regina Winberrl, Lala Ricotte and Ivis-chan.

Next is Star Trek Online update news. This week there is a new event called Vault Shuttle Event were Vice Admiral/Lieutenant General ranked players head to an old Romulan station in a small craft (Shuttle, Fighter, Runabout).

Next is Minecraft updates. There is a special event currently happening called You Are Minecraft.
Now for the last section of the post, the DreamClix Section. This week I am doing ideas for a cosplay card for Temari from Naruto and Shadow Hunter from CosmicBreak. But first here is a design for the Cosplay Card for Chibi.

Next is Temari from Naruto. Temari is the oldest of the three Sand Village siblings. Unlike her more combat-loving brothers, Temari values peace, as she questions Sunagakure's justifications for going to war with Konohagakure. This trait carries over to Part II (Shippuden), in which she begins acting as a liaison between Sunagakure and Konohagakure to help the two villages work together. In battle, Temari wields a giant iron fan that can create powerful gusts of wind capable of leveling the surrounding landscape. As she is skilled at deducing an opponent's strategies and weaknesses soon after a battle begins, she typically uses her winds to remove parts of the battlefield that might be advantageous to the enemy. She should have a trait called "Fan", Force Blast, Pulse Wave, Energy Shield Deflection and a special called "Long Range Fighter".
Fan: All attacks from Temari deals knock back. She automatically destroys any Object, walls and Blocking terrain she attacks.
Long Range Fighter: Opposing characters halve their range when targeting Temari if she has less than one action token on her.
She should have about six clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 8, Attack 10, Defence 17, Damage 2 and Range 8 with two targets. Her team ability should be the Ninja one and her keywords should be Sand Village. The next Naruto idea should be Zaku Abumi.

Next is Shadow Hunter from CosmicBreak. A ninja robot who jumps from shadow to shadow, carrying out his mission with cold precision. The Shrunken Launcher on his back hits the blind spots of his enemies. It should have Stealth, Psychic Blast, Indomitable, Toughness, Combat Reflexes and Steal Energy. He should have about four clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 10, Attack 10, Defence 17, Damage 2 and Range 4 with two targets. It should have both the LND and Ninja team abilities and it' keywords should be Robot and Unions. The next CosmicBreak idea should be the fantastic Lily Rain EVE. Bugsycait is being pushed back to a later date.

Lastly here is the updated Cosplay Card for Ichigo that was posted on the DreamClix Dial Designs page earlier on today.

There will not be a Cosmic Cosplay post next week as I am busy all week end, but the one for the week after that will be a double bill. Until next time, Mecha Up.

MK HeroClix, the 19th of April, The Avengers are Coming

Welcome to another DreamClix Special. First off is the HeroClix news for the week. This week there were previews of The Joker as Sgt. from DC: The Dark Knight Rises; Bruce Banner and two versions of the Hulk from the Marvel: Avengers Movies set; and Apocalypse from the Convention prize support. This week was the last of the standard Marvel: Avengers Movie set as it was released this week, but next week's preview will be of Comic Book day Thor (might be called God of Thunder) but what will replace it the week after that. On personal news, I have ordered a case of the main Marvel: Avengers Movie set and Falcon from Captain America. I try to remember to post what I pulled  ever in a post of its own, with the Neoscream's Life post or next week's HeroClix post. I also looked to see how much the Nova Corps team I designed would cost. It was about £8, if I already own the right version of a very old set and that I guessed postage right.

This weeks game was Armour Wars. 500 points, at least one figure must have the Armour keyword (Armor for the Americans) and be 100 or more points. We will be using special Armour Wars update tokens that were released in a HeroClix convention magazine years ago back when Topps owned WizKids. I went for an Avengers team using three of the four figures from the Avengers Movie HeroClix Mini Game (again, DO NOT BUY IT, get the real starter set). The team was:

The Armoured Avenger (003 Avengers Movie Starter) 200
The First Avenger (002 Avengers Movie Starter) 100
The Mighty Avenger (001 Avengers Movie Starter 140
Black Panther (106 Universe) 27
Scarlet Witch (057 Avengers) 35
=502 points and four re-rolls.

On the first round I was up against Adrian. He was using an Armour theme team who were:

Annihilus (056 Secret Invasion) 127
Doombot 5953 (107 Secret Invasion) 40
Guardsman (005 Avengers) 32
MACH-4 (042 Sinister) 100
James Rhodes (211 Armour Wars) 119
Crimson Dynamo (071 Armour Wars) 75
=493 points and four re-roll.

The Armoured Avenger's EMP Burst (The Armored Avenger can use Pulse Wave. When he does, after actions resolve each opposing character with the Armor or Robot keyword that took damage from this attack is given an action token.) failed to week as I could not at least roll a a 5 or more. However my team did white wash his team regardless of The Armoured Avenger's pure performance. On the second round I was up against Darren. He was using a Fantastic Four theme team who were:

Dr. Doom (029 Galactic Guardians) 169
Wolverine (035 Incredible Hulk) 70
Ghost Rider (037 Incredible Hulk) 125
Storm (048 Giant Size X-Men) 86
Spider-Man (001 Secret Invasion) 50
=500 points and four re-rolls.

Even tho The Armoured Avengers performance was tons better as he did a hell of a lot of damage to DOOM with the EMP Burst special. But Darren have ever like normal creamed my team. and took them all out Luckily I did KO'd his Ghost Rider. On the third and final round I was up against Michael. He was using an UNSC themed team who were:

Marine with SMG (001 Halo) 26
Spartan with Dual Magnums (009 Halo) 80
Spartan with Battle Rifle (010 Halo) 70
2x Spartan with Plasma Rifle (019 Halo) 87 x 2 = 174
Master Chief and Cortana (042 Halo) 150
=500 points and four re-rolls.

Until The Armour Avenger's took damage he was doing great as the EMP Burst hit his entire team which cause pushing damage to the two Spartans with the Armour keyword. Both the Mighty and First Avengers as well as Scarlet Witch cleaned up afterwards. I ended up white washing his whole team.

Now for a quick review of the the three figures from the Avengers Start I used. First of The First Avenger (Captain America), for 100 points he was quite a good figure and did better than expected. Next is The Mighty Avenger (Thor), I still do not know which is better him or Thor from Fast Forces Hammer of Thor. Lastly The Armoured Avenger (Iron Man, his low attack for a 200 points figure was the problem with him. Ok the Variable Powers System special (The Armored Avenger can use Perplex, but only to target himself.) helped on the first two clicks, but after that, the 9 Attack does not cut it. I would have preferred him to have the special on his third and fourth clicks instead of Range Combat Expert. I might try him out again with another Perplexer at a latter date to see if that helps.

Next week will be Soldiers and Warriors. 500 points, you can only use characters with the Soldier or Warrior keywords.

Now for this week's DreamClix section. This week I am doing rules for Support Cards and ideas for the Support Card of Clovis la Britannia from Code Geass, the Pilot Card of Largan Drace from Mobile Suit Gundam and Deep Sea Boomer from Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040. But first I have designs of Z-01 Lancelot from Code Geass, Shino Aburame from Naruto, Bug Swarm pog and Kukaku Shiba from Bleach.

Next is the rules for Support Cards. These have been on the planing board ever since the idea of doing Gundam stuff in DreamClix. Today is finally the time for one of these cards to appear. These cards represent character characters that are not on the battle field, but support or command their force from the background. They normally have one or more special ability which most are ever once a game abilities or epic actions. These cards can only be played in set themed teams and can modify the number of theme team re-rolls you have. There is three different ways this could be pointed, one flat points cost, X times every 100 points of the build total or X times half of the number of number of theme time re-rolls before any modifications.

Next is the Support Card of Clovis la Britannia from Code Geass. Clovis la Britannia is the Third Prince of the Britannian Imperial Family and the former Viceroy of Area 11 and son of Gabrielle la Britannia. He's also Lelouch vi Britannia's older half-brother. Before Lelouch and Nunnally were exiled to Japan, Clovis had a relatively good relationship with Lelouch's family and always took the time to visit Lelouch and play chess with him. Although he lost time after time, Clovis was not discouraged and viewed Lelouch as a rival in chess. Clovis enjoys art and his sister, Euphemia, notes that he is a talented painter. Clovis eventually went to Area 11 to become its viceroy being told that Lelouch and Nunnally had died there, unaware of his lost siblings position as political hostages and remained alive but in hiding. He is timid by nature, but he has narcissistic attitude and disdain of the Elevens (displayed by his not hesitating in ordering the complete eradication of the Shinjuku Ghetto, despite the presence of hundreds of civilians inside) gives Lelouch an opportunity to start throwing the Britannian Imperial Family, as well as the Empire of Britannia itself, into turmoil. He should only be played in Britannia theme teams, he does not modify the theme team re-rolls, no other requirements and he should only have one special called "Leave No One Standing".
Leave No One Standing: At the end of your turn, if at least one of your opponent's characters are KO'd during you turn, remove one action token from one of your characters.
The next Code Geass idea should be a APC.

Next is the Pilot Card of Largan Drace from Mobile Suit Gundam. In the year AG 115, Largan Drace is a mobile suit pilot formerly stationed at the Arinston base on Nora. When the UE attacked the colony, Flit Asuno was willing to let Largan pilot the Gundam AGE-1 but Vargas Dyson would not allow him to risk his safety piloting a new mobile suit. After seeing the situation getting worse Largan instead pilots the RGE-B790 Genoace. While awaiting for the hanger's gate to fully open a Gafran on the other side surprise attacks the Genoace. The attack knocks Genoace down but Largan manages to return fire for the gate can close once again. He is then rescued by the Earth Federation soldiers and sustain minimum injuries. After the destruction of the colony Nora, Largan remains on board with the Diva-class. At space colony Fardain, after both sides, Zalam and Euba, entered a temporary alliance Flit leaves them to protect a truck carrying his friends from a Baqto. The Gundam AGE-1 proves no match against the Baqto, but luckily Largan arrives just in time to stall it for Flit can go receive the Titus wear configuration. Largan charges the Baqto with a heat stick, however it was deflected and the Genoace was subdued. The Baqto charges its beam spikes to deliver the final attack on Largan, but Flit in Gundam AGE-1 Titus saves Largan and destroys the Baqto. After thwarting the UE attack on Fardain, the Diva proceeds to the Minsry colony. Once having the additional forces and an attack plan the crew proceeds to the EU stronghold. His requirement should be the Earth Federation Force keyword. He should have the Earth Federation Force team ability. His special should give him Super Senses due to luck than sixth sense. His Mecha ability should be a +1 to the Defence value if he is in a RGE-B790. The next Mobile Suit Gundam AGE idea should be a generic Pilot Card for the Earth Federation Forces Pilot.

Next is the Deep Sea Boomer from Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040. To test new Boomers technology for boomers to work in deep space, Genom used them in deep sea mission. One of these boomers when out of control with a humans thoughts trapped in side it. It should have Super Strength, Close Combat Expert, Impervious and Invulnerability. It should have about seven click of health and starting combat values of Speed 6, Attack 10, Defence 19, Damage 3 and Range 4 with one target. It should not have a team ability and its keywords should be Brute and Robot. The next Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 idea should be AD Police K-Suit.

Lastly is the DreamClix Dial Designs page update news. On Sunday there was an update to the DreamClix Dial Designs page, which was the third of four CosmicBreak updates. There was nothing new in this update. There was another update on Thursday, which was the final part of the CosmicBreak updates. All four of the new dial designs are show below. If you have been checking the updates to CosmicBreak, you may have noticed that I have dropped the Moe keyword. I felt this was a wast as all the Moes had the Robot keyword. I also replaced the Chibi keyword with the Kid one as it felt more fitting. There should be an update on Sunday which will be the first of two Cosplay Deviants updates.

Well that is it for this week. Until next time, Mecha Up.

Neoscream's Life for the week 9th to the 15th April

MS-06s Zaku II (Char Custom)
Welcome to another week of my life. For those new  to the blog, the "Neoscream's Life" posts are basically a weekly dairy of mine. The week before last I finally got some wheels of my own, a trike, but what did last week bring.

On Monday I worked from 9:50AM to 4:30PM. As both my parents's cars were in the way when I got home from work, I could not do any practicing on my trike. Other than that they is nothing else to write about.
Watched: Episodes 25 and 26 of Transformers: Prime (finishing season 1), episode 380 of One Piece and episode 7 of Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040.
Listened: Episode 75 of the Unofficial One Piece Podcast.

On Tuesday morning I posted last week's Neoscream's Life post like normal. I worked from 9:50AM to 4:50PM. I  just managed to get home in time to do some more practicing before my parents got home, even with a bus that was running almost 20 minutes late. As I now have it, I played some Mass Effect in the evening and put together a HeroClix team for this week's game.
Watched: This week’s episode of WWE Raw.
Brought and Received: The first Mass Effect finally arrived in the post.

On Wednesday I worked from 9:50AM to 4:15PM. When I got home I practiced more on the trike and then played a ton of Mass Effect.
Watched: Episode 26 of Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, The One Piece Vidcast Teaser Trailer and episodes 381 and 382 of One Piece.
Listened: Episode 314 of Anime Pulse.

On Thursday both my parents were off I had to wait until they went off food shopping to get more practice done on my trike. I decided to change my practice route. Instead of going around the park half a dozen time, I decided to go round the south half of Crownhill a couple of time, increasing the number of laps by one each day. I worked from 12PM to 2:45PM. When I got home I played some more Mass Effect . I decided to start from the beginning again as I wanted to change my class as the party I decided on playing would be too heavy technology base and I wanted to be more balanced, regardless of my my liking of technology. In the evening I went to HeroClix like normal. When I got home there was another update for Office Suite. It was just a bug fix this time.
Watched: Episode 61 of the Gadget Show Web TV.

Friday morning I posted the MK HeroClix post and then I went to do some more practicing on the Trike. This time I did three laps I worked from 12PM to 4:45PM. in the evening I played a ton of Mass Effect.
WLR: Nothing.

At coffee on Saturday morning there was a huge turnout. There was me, Darren, Richard, Simon, Lucy, Abby and Jake. WOW, what a turnout. We decided to we were not going to play Dungeons and Dragons Online but they was a heavy thoughts of play Left 4 Dead on the PC. I worked from 12PM to 4PM. After work I played some Mass Effect. I was having problems with using the Mako at the targeting scoop was smaller and did not change colour when locked onto a target.
Watched: This week’s episode of WWE Smackdown, episode 17 of the subtitled version of Fairy Tail and episode 383 of One Piece.

Sunday was a day off work. I did an update to the DreamClix Dial Designs page. I took longer than normal to do as I needed to tidy up all the images on my laptop which took forever. After doing that I needed to pop into work to drop off my holiday form, as I was booking off the 7th to the 20th of May. Due to the length of time the update took, going out and the other things I need to do. I do not do any practicing today on my Trike. In the evening I finished off and post the Cosmic Cosplay post for the week and I also put together next week's (now this week's) HeroClix team.
Watched: This week’s episode of the Gadget Geeks (last of the current series), episodes 384 to 387 of One Piece, the 2012 Formula 1 UBS Chinese Grand Prix and episodes 219 and 220 of the dubbed vision of Naruto (finishing off Naruto).
Listened: Episode 76 of the Unofficial One Piece Podcast and episode 185 of Manga Pulse.
Read: Chapter 44 of One Piece (finishing off volume 5).

Here is a list of posts that will be posted during the coming week.

Friday the 20th of April: "MK HeroClix".

Ch3xy in "Mathmatical
First off is this week's new Cosplay Deviants sets. On Wednesday there was a set the new French Deviant Underscore. Underscore has a fantastic face and the set looked great. The set was called Graceful Jewel and in it she cosplays as Mami Tomoe from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The new set on Saturday was a set from the Ch3xy. This was her second set. The set is called Mathmatical and in it she cosplays as Fionna the Human Girl from Adventure Time.

Next is Star Trek Online update news. This week Ferengi Lock Boxes have been added to the game. Like the Cardassian Lock Box, you need Master Keys to open them. The stuff you can get from them are:
Ferengi D’Kora Marauder Class Starship.
  • Cross-Faction Starship Console. Federation players will receive the Vent Theta Radiation Console (normally only available with the Scourge Destroyer) and Klingon Empire players will receive the Photonic Displacement Console (normally only available with the Rhode Island Refit).
  • Ferengi Gambling Device that modifies probability for the user, giving the player a chance to gain a 10 percent boost to critical hit and critical severity as well as additional avoidance when used during away team missions. Potential users of this device should be aware that there’s always a chance you will not win!
  • Ferengi Duty Officer Pack with 3 random Ferengi Duty Officers. These Ferengi have access to Traits and Specializations not previously available to their Species and are guaranteed to be Uncommon (green) quality or better. Opening this pack also grants you the opportunity to win one or more of four Ultra-Rare, Unique duty officers not available anywhere else!

  • Peregrine/To'Duj Fighter Pet.

Next is Minecraft updates. I was wrong about last week. There was minor update that was many a bug fix, but there is not any major new features.

Now for the last section of the post, the DreamClix Section. This week I am doing ideas for a cosplay card for the deviant Aglaia and Aquila from CosmicBreak. But first here is a design for Oerba Dia Vanille from Final Fantasy XIII.

Next is a cosplay card for the deviant Aglaia. She should follow the standard template of the other deviants. Her special should be: If this character rolls a ten or more to hit with an attack, this character does not received an action token. If this happens the action still comes out from the action pool and the character does not clear this turn. Her half cost list should be: Madame Xanadu, Elle Driver, Jill Valentine, Rei Hino, Sailor Mars, X-23 and Cassie Hack.

Next is Aquila from CosmicBreak. Hailing from the A-44 Dark Space Region, this robot is also known as the "Four-Winged Hawk". His V8 cross charger allows him to equip multiple boosters. It should have the flight symbol, Running Shot, Charge, Blades, Range Combat Expert, Invulnerability, Toughness and Combat Reflexes. It should have about eight clicks of health and starting combat values of Speed 13, Attack 10, Defence 17, Damage 3 and Range 8 with one target. Its team ability should be the AIR one and its keywords should be Robot and Unions. The next CosmicBreak idea should be Bugsycait.

Until next time, Mecha Up.

MK HeroClix, the 12th of April, the hopeless battle

Welcome to another MK HeroClix. First off is the HeroClix news for the week. This week there were previews of Cosmo and Ziran the Tester from the Marvel: Galactic Guardians main set; Alfred Pennyworth and Lucius Fox from DC: The Dark Knight Rises; and another version of Loki, The First Avenger and Heimdall from the Marvel: Avengers Movies set. It has be official reviled that there will be a ten figure single booster count set (eleven if you count the Loki chase figure)  for the Avengers Movie set. Hang on, the main boosters for is were single figure boosters already. HCRealms has all eleven figures from this seconds single figure set on their units section already and hearing from people, it is already out. The dials seem great and is the Skrull Infiltrator a major spoiler for the film, bad WizKids if it is, LOL. Also the Marvel: Galactic Guardians just come out this week in America. I might pick up some of the Nova Corps and LEs. What will replace it in the previews, maybe Marvel: Chaos War. For those interested I have brought and reviewed the Avengers Movie HeroClix Mini Game is the previous Neoscream's Life post to this post under Saturday, but here is the short version of it. DO NOT BUY IT, get the starter instead, even if you are new to the game as the starter is far more better and useful for the cost. However I was right at the store, the starter comes with one two sided map, not two and it comes with terrain tokens. Oh and according to people on HCRealms the start is out now. Please note WizKids stated the Marvel Avengers Movie stuff was out on April the 18th last Friday evening, but everything apart from the main set is already our.

Constrictor
This weeks game was 300 points, built the worst theme team you can for your opponent to use. No Feats, minimum of 295 point and maximum of seven figures (including bystander tokens).  Are a lot of looking and mind changing I ended up with an unlikely S.H.I.E.L.D. team who were:

Constrictor (037 Infinity Challenge) 38
Black Widow (056 Clobberin Time) 41
Shadowcat (042 Universe) 40
Moonstar (008 Fantastic Four) 66
Madrox (001 Giant Size X-Men) 44
Mandroid Armour (008 Clobberin Time) 32
Mandroid Armour (009 Clobberin Time) 36
=297 points and two re-rolls.

There was no Adrian this week so I only played in two out of three. On the first round I was up against Michael as Darren sat and watched. I was using his Teen team who were:

Humantorch (049 Clobberin Time) 40
Jubilee (017 Supernova) 35
Karma (037 Fantastic Four) 43
Sunspot (026 Supernova) 70
Spider-Man (001 Universe) 40
Night Thrasher (013 Supernova) 37 265
Sprite (037 Sinister) 30
=295 points and one re-roll.

It was close to begin with but his Sunspot cream my team when he get into charging range. This lead to my team losing, meaning I won. On the second round I was up against Darren as Michael sat and watched. I was using his Sinister Syndicate team who were:

Hydro Man (011 Sinister) 57
Jack O'Lantern (034 Sinister) 32
Hobgoblin (062 Universe) 62
Scorpion (047 Xplosion) 49
Chameleon (019 Web of Spider-Man) 66 266
Electro (028 Sinister) 30
=296 points and two re-rolls.

Hydro Man's Defend and the Sinister Syndicate team ability really helped me against Darren and my team. This on top of Darren's bad dice rolls lead to my team being wiped out, meaning I won that game. On the third and final round Darren was up against Michael, while I watched and wrote this up. It was a long game but Adrian won the game with only Chameleon and a beaten up Electro left standing. Over all I won as my team was the worst and Darren lost as his team was too good.

Next week will be Armour Wars. 500 points, at least one figure must have the Armour keyword (Armor for the Americans) and be 100 or more points. We will be using special Armour Wars update tokens that were released in a HeroClix convention magazine years ago back when Topps owned WizKids.

Now for this week's cut down DreamClix section. This week I am doing ideas for a RGE-B790 Genoace from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, a Humanoid Power Suit from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone, Daisuke Ido from Battle Angel Alita and Hizashi Hyûga from Naruto. But first I have designs of Ran Fuan from Dragon Ball, the Usopp Pirates from One Piece, Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter, the Hogwarts School team ability and a Patronus Charm pod.

Next a a RGE-B790 Genoace from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. The Genoace is a mass production mobile suit used by the Earth Federal Forces. Derived from the CMS-328 Desperado, it is a highly versatile machine and characterized by a clear blue visor covering the front of the head and internal sensors. It was rolled out at the same time as the Earth Federation military begin to battle the UE. A wide variety of customized units currently exist. The Genoace's frame is based on the Desperado's. In terms of combat, the standard armed Genoace's performance is significantly inferior compared to Vagan mobile suits such as the Gafran and Baqto. However by equipping more powerful weapons like the DODS Gun, it becomes capable of destroying Unknown Enemy units. They should have just Charge and Toughness, about four clicks of health and starting combat value of Movement 8, Attack 8, Defence 16, Damage 2 and Range 6 with one target. Their team ability should be the Mobile Suit one and their keyword should be Earth Federation Forces. The next Gundam AGE idea should be the Pilot card for Largan Drace.

Next is a Humanoid Arm Suit generic from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. These are humanoid power suit used by the military, terrorist and at times criminal organisations. They should have Super Strength, Impervious, Invulnerability, Toughness, Range Combat Expert and Close Combat Expert. They should have about five clicks of health and starting combat value of Movement 8, Attack 10, Defence 18, Damage 3 and Range 8 with one target. Their team ability should be the Underworld one (seeing the other characters other than Watchmen characters are getting this, I am treating it as a generic team ability like Police and Mystics. This will mean several characters from Death Note and Ghost in the Shell will be changing to have it) and their keywords should be Armour, JSDF and Soldier. The next and most likely the last Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex idea should be Kubota.

Next is Daisuke Ido from Battle Angel Alita. Daisuke Ido is a cyberphysician from Tiphares and the first Tipharean introduced in Battle Angel Alita. He is a key character in the early part of the series, as he was responsible for restoring Alita after finding her in the Tiphares dump heap. Ido also had a second line of work as a hunter-warrior while he lived in the Scrapyard. He should have Stealth, Close Combat Expert, Support and Willpower. They should have about four or five clicks of health and starting combat value of Movement 8, Attack 9, Defence 17, Damage 2 and Range 2 with one target. He should not have a team ability and his keywords should be Bounty Hunter, Hunter-Warrior and Scientist. The next Battle Angel Alita idea should be Gonzu.

Next is the second Naruto chase figure, Hizashi  Hyūga. Hizashi was born seconds after his twin brother, Hiashi. For this reason only however, Hiashi was made the successor to the Hyūga clan, whereas Hizashi was made a member of a branch house. At some point in Hizashi's life, he was branded with the clan's curse seal that would ensure his lifelong service to the main branch and that would seal his Byakugan when he died. Hizashi was unhappy with this fate, but felt that there was nothing he could do and put up with it. Hizashi eventually fathered a son, Neji. Several years after Neji's birth, Hiashi's daughter, Hinata, turned three. As was customary to do on the next heir's third birthday, Neji was given his own curse seal. Hizashi was upset that his son was being locked into the same fate that he was, and briefly put up with this as well. But as time went by, Neji's natural genius with the Hyūga clan's techniques became obvious to Hizashi. At the same time, Hinata was proving to be ill-suited as the Hyūga's next leader. Angry that Neji was being denied his full-potential because of his birth, Hizashi became more open with his disapproval of the main house, eventually manifesting as killing intent. Sensing this, Hiashi activated Hizashi's curse seal as punishment, causing Hizashi great pain and giving Neji reason to doubt the main house for the first time. Some time later, in an event that would become known as the Hyūga Affair, Hiashi killed the Head Ninja of Kumogakure to save Hinata. Kumogakure demanded Hiashi's body as restitution; in reality, they wanted to obtain the secrets of the Byakugan. The Hyūga elders and Konoha's leadership proposed that Hizashi be used instead; as Hiashi's body double. In addition to protecting Hiashi - the Hyūga's leader - doing so would keep the Byakugan's secrets from being discovered. Hizashi agreed. When Hiashi tried to refuse, Hizashi disabled him with a single blow. He then explained that he was not doing this to preserve the Hyūga's structure, but to save the life of his brother, to prevent war, and to choose his own fate for the first time in his life. Before going to his death, Hizashi asked Hiashi to tell Neji of his reason for his decision, regretting that he had shown Neji his bitterness in life. He should have two traits called "Hiashi's Twin Brother" and "Byakugan", Flurry, Exploit Weakness, Energy Shield Deflection, Toughness and Defend.
Hiashi's Twin Brothers: Adjacent friend characters with the Hyūga Clan and Ruler keywords can use Mastermind, but can only transfer damage to Hizashi Hyūga.
Byakugan: Hizashi Hyūga ignores Hindering Terrain for line of sight. Immediately after making a close combat attack, Hizashi Hyūga can use Outwit but only on the target of the attack.
They should have about seven clicks of health and starting combat value of Movement 8, Attack 10, Defence 18, Damage 3 and Range 4 with one target. His team ability should been the Ninja one and his keywords should be Konohagakure, Hyūga Clan and Past. The next Naruto idea should be Zaku Abumi.

Lastly is the DreamClix Dial Designs page update news. On Sunday there was an update to the DreamClix Dial Designs page, which was the second of four CosmicBreak updates. There was nothing new in this update. There should be an update on Sunday with the third CosmicBreak update.

Well that is it for this week. Until next time, Mecha Up.
