Neoscream's Life for the week of the 22nd to the 28th of October

Apsalus III
Welcome to another week of my life. For those new to the blog, the "Neoscream's Life" posts are basically a weekly dairy of mine.

At work this week, I was not there. LOL. I original booked it off for London EXPO, but I decided not to go due to the costs. Sorry, £25 travel and £16 entry before spending money on DVDs, Manga books, Pocky and launch, is a bit too much with the money I am spending of miniatures and saving for A+ Certification course and exam.

First off DreadBall. I decided to add three more team box sets to my KickStarter order. These were the Female Corps team, an extra Robot team and a season one team for a Christmas gift for a friend (Please note, as of the 29th of October you cannot add any more to it). Still no PDF rules yet, but I bet they will be sent when the surveys or over. If you checked my Tweeter during the week or seen Sunday's DreamClix 7 post you will see that I have finished converting and painting my DreadBall coach based on AJ Lee from WWE.

Robodoc from the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game
During the week my Judge Dredd Block Wars KickStarter stuff arrived in the post. Sadly the left hand side parts of the Robodoc were missing. I have e-mailed them and they said the will send me another one.

Saturday was the Grand Opening of Wargames Workshop MK, Wargames Workshops second store. The store was smaller than I thought, but what they do not have they can order in for you for no extra change. They are planning on having a DreadBall tournament that will be ran by Guardians of Tyr, but sadly this will be on Saturdays. However they might only do it something like once or twice a month, so I might be able to get the time off work. I picked up a couple of figures from 7TV teams from the Warmachine range, a paint, some decorative bases, a card folder for HeroClix cards and Super Munchkin (a Super Heroes version of Munchkin).

Parts of the week I have been tidying and rearranging my bed room. I trying to get is so that I can store my 7TV stuff, my painting and modelling stuff, my DVDs and Computer Games and my DreadBall Stuff (when it arrives) in my room. I am still working on it and I will try to post pictures in a future Neoscream's Life post when I have finished it. Maybe if I got off my butt and ordered the boxes sooner I would have had it done by now.

On Saturday after the Grand Opening of Wargames Workshop, I meet up with Darren and Richard so we could slap on some Zombie face paint for the Stony Stratford Halloween Zombie pub crawl. I was a good night and we meet up with some other mates like Colette there. All of us were Zombie, apart from Hopper who decided to go as Shaun of the Dead. If we do it next year I might go as a Zombie version of Kakashi from Naruto.

There was no 7TV game this week due to a busy weekend, however from next week Nathan will be free on Sundays again so we should hopefully get back on track. Should be two more games of 7TV and then it is Richard's turn for running a game.

Now for the whole AJ Lee losing her job as Raw General Manager due to the *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* piece of *BEEP* *BEEP* work Vickie Guerrero. Below is a video that will hopefully explains what is happening. All of Tuesday I was feeling super down and all I could do was paint my 7TV team. OK I know it's all fake, but they never made it clear if AJ still had a job in the WWE. Knowing how much April Jeanette Mendez (AJ Lee's real name) loved being apart of the WWE, I was worried how down she must be as this would have be last moment thing. Until Sunday there was no word from her or her wrestling career. First the were dates posted of UK Autograph Signings for the Raw European Tour and second AJ stated on Twitter that she will be on Raw on Monday the 29th of October to see Vickie's so called evidence she has stated she will reveal (remember this post is of the week of the 22nd to the 28th of October), so it is safe to say that she still has a job with the WWE.

Squeaks in "Flower Maiden"
Jsica in "Sending"
Lastly this last week's Cosplay Deviants sets. On Wednesday there was a new set from a new deviant called Squeaks. The set is called Flower Maiden and in it she cosplays as Cheza from Wolf's Rain. The set on Saturday was a new set from the fantastic deviant Jsica. The set is called Sending and in it she cosplayed as Yuna from Final Fantasy X for the fourth time. Yet another wonderful set and a perfect setting for it. Sadly this is her last set (if memory servers me right). She will be missed big times, but it is understandable why she is leaving.

Well that is it for now. Until next time, Mecha Up.

Cosmic Cosplay Two Year Log Special for the week of the 5th to the 11th of March

Hi all and welcome to another Cosmic Cosplay post. This is a weekly post that happens on a Sunday were I talk about the new Cosplay Deviants sets; any Cosplay Deviants news I learn about; information about updates for CosmicBreak, Star Trek Online, Minecraft and Dungeons and Dragons Online; and three DreamClix ideas/designs. Also as day is the two year anniversary of Neoscream's Log (not the Blog which is on the 5th of April) I want to do special with several extra things. Most of which I am doing first.

My Cyclops Costume
Well it was two years ago today when I first started writing Neoscream's Log. When I started it, it was just a record of dreams and online chat with Blaire. I also started to write down some thoughts and feelings on things. It was a daily log at first, but I found it hard to keep up with the logs so I decided to make it weekly and to share them with Blaire. When I went to a weekly log started to add more stuff to the log, Wii Fit training, Miis, the stuff I have watched and my Heroclix games. Then one day, Blaire made an ultimatum, start posting it online or she would not read it any more. I asked her if there is any good web sites top do it and she pointed me to Blogger, also known as Blog Spot. However I will leave the story here until the 6th of April. (Ok this post was a repost of last year’s comments, but altered to two years instead of one year).

My Konohagakure Chûnin/Jõnin Costume
Now I have a photo of my Cyclops costume which Richard has been forgetting to give me or at less post up on Facebook, I want to go over the different cosplays I have done over the years.
My first Cosplay was as Cyclops from X-Men for Halloween 2005 (might be wrong on the year). I was trying to base it on him is the train station seen in the first X-Men film. I had the trousers for it and I thought I had a brown jacket for it. All I needed to do was build a visor and buy a red or brown shirt, a black polar neck jumper and a blue baseball cap. The shirt and jumper cost a lot more than I wanted to spend on them, but I could not find anything else that was suitable in the whole shopping center. With the visor, I had problem getting clear red plastic, so I had to cut up a pink recycling bag for the eye piece. It ended up bigger than what I was hoping for, but it was steel quite nice. Sadly with the jacket I forget I got rid of me old brown jacket when I got my leather jacket and did not remember until it was too late. So I had to wear my leather jacket instead. It may not be right, but it still looked good.
My Kakashi Hatake
Oh and Simon as a pirate
For the May 2007 London EXPO (rough guess on year and event) I was planning on cosplaying as Kakashi Hatake from Naruto, but sadly I never got round to ordering the wig or getting a mask. But as I have everything else, I decided to go has a generic Konohagakure Chûnin/Jõnin.
I went to at least four events in the full Kakashi Hatake costume. The first time was at a Tokyopop event at a bookstore (now a Waterstones) in the Midsummer's Place part of shopping center. There I bumped into Luke who I know from HeroClix and his sister. They were cosplaying as Naruto and Tayuya. The another time was at next London EXPO (or maybe the one after that). The another time was at a Halloween party in 2007 and the final time was at Simon's Pirates vs. Ninjas birthday party. I was one of only two ninjas there.
Sadly I can not find any good  picture
of the Ninjamus Prime costume, but
here is the Avatar image
For Halloween 2008 I decided to do what was then a current online alter ego of mine, Ninjamus Prime (or Ninja Prime). The idea of Ninjamus Prime came around when I jokingly place the Konohagakure headband on my Optimus Prime voice changer helmet. I also designed an avatar image. Sadly I could not get the right sword I wanted and could not find a cannon like gun I would use.
For Halloween 2009 I never got round to planning anything and ended up picking up a Grim Reaper costume from a fancy dress store.
For both Halloween 2010 and 2011 as well as London EXPO October 2011 I cosplayed as Tony Stark. The main part of the costume was suit which has other real world uses since. The first time I wear the costume I had a LED lighting as his chest piece, but for 2011 I picked up a kid's toy version of the chest piece. For the two times I wear it in 2011 (or one time as they both happened on the same day and I never changed between) I made the armour suitcase from the second film as some of you may already know from reading the blog. (Sadly I do not have the room to post a picture of the Tony Stark costume.)
So this is the best picture of my Grim
Reaper costume. I am in the back.
With that done I like to talk about I wanted to do in the past or want to do in the future. I have always wanted the Cosplay as Kira Yamato from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed and at many times came close to doing it. Nowadays I am always putting it off as I do not want to get rid of my beard as I am always worried about work with growing it back. I have also wanted to do Zoro from One Piece and Duo Maxwell from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, but the beard is a problem with that again, oh and the swords for Zoro too.Another one I have always want to do is G1 Starscream, but a costume like that is to bulky to carry to and from places (I had problems on the subway with just a shoulder bug, a plastic carry bag and the Iron Man suitcase) and from places and to big to store store. The same can be said with a Gundam Deathscythe from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing I thought about doing after the Grim Reaper cosplay, but not as bad if I do it in the way I have seen it done once so still on the may be one day. However these days I am really wanting to do Ramba Ral from the original Mobile Suit Gundam, but the uniform is a nightmare to find. Maybe I need to turn to Lucy (Simon's girlfriend) or Blaire for help. With that all done with, it is time to go back to what Cosmic Cosplay it about.

Vicious in "Mad Love"
Vivka is "Team V"
Next is this week's new Cosplay Deviants sets. On Wednesday there was a set from the New Deviant Vicious. The set was called Mad Love and in it she cosplays as Harley Quinn from the Batman comics. The new set on Saturday was a set from Vivka. The set is called Team V and in it she cosplays as Triana Orpheus from The Venture Bro.

Next is the CosmicBreak update news. This week there was almost nothing talk about. There is four new Rt weapons added to the game.

Next is Star Trek Online update news. This week the Duty Officer Expansion pack is finely been added to the C-Store. It introduce races from the Gamma Quadrant to the Duty Officers. Also the fifth of final episode of The 2800 is up. It is called Boldly They Rode.

Next is Minecraft updates. Their has been no updates to Minecraft this week.

Next is Dungeons and Dragons Online updates. There has been no new updates and no word from Simon on when we are getting together to play/

Now for the last section of the post, the DreamClix Section. This week I am doing ideas for Zoey from Left 4 Dead, Swordom from CosmicBreak and Neoscream. But first here is a design for the Cosplay card of the Administer from Cosplay Deviants.

Next is Zoey from Left 4 Dead. Zoey is one of the four playable Survivors in Left 4 Dead. After spending her first semester holed up in a dorm room watching old horror movies, Zoey was given a choice: Stop fooling around and get her grades up, or drop out. Now that the planet's overrun with murderous zombies, and all of her professors are dead, Zoey at least has the cold comfort that she's been studying up on the right subject after all. Zoey, along with Louis and Francis, appears in Left 4 Dead 2 in the campaign The Passing as they meet with the Left 4 Dead 2 Survivors. Unlike her attitude in Left 4 Dead, she comes off as somewhat more serious and, at times, angry. This is probably due to the fact that she is hit very hard by Bill's death. She should have Energy Explosion, Willpower and Range Combat Expert. She should have about four clicks of health and starting combat values of Speed 7, Attack 9, Defence 17, Damage 2 and Range 6 with one target. She should not have any team abilities and keywords. The next Other Section idea should be Stocking Anarchy from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.

Next is Swordom from CosmicBreak. They are floating sword robotic minions of Chaos. It should have Leap Climb and Blades. It should have about three clicks of health and starting combat values of Speed 6, Attack 8, Defence 15, Damage 2 and Range 0. It should have the LND team ability and its keywords should be Chaos and Robot. The next CosmicBreak idea should be Blocky.

Neoscream's design is based on Energon
Starscream. This image was not done
by me.
Next is Neoscream. Neoscream and his sister Dark Viper were made by the female Decepticon scientist, Jackal. She merged the cloned sparks of herself and Starscream to creat them. Both of them were given loyalty chips so that they would stay loyal to Starscream and would not stab her or each other it the back. Neoscream is very like Starscream with scheming, but rarely acts as the foul. He is a skilled swordsman and Sniper. He is equipped with a phase shift system. While in use the phase shift system allows his to phase though objects and be come invisible. While it this state he can not interact with objects and people who did not enter this state with him. Also he has to have his flight system running to prevent he from phasing down floors by mistake His goal in life is to become second in command of the Decepticons, second only to Starscream, and to gain Starscream's respect as he sees Starscream as his father. There should be three versions of Neoscream, robot mode, jet mode and phased mode which he Transforms (Morphs) to. First the Robot Mode dial. In this mode he should have the Giant symbol, Charge, Blades, Toughness, Combat Reflexes, Range Combat Expert and two traits, "Family Ties" and "Transform: Neoscream".
Family Ties: Neoscream gains a +1 to his attack value if there is at least one of the following characters on the field as a friendly character: Dark Viper, Jackal or Starscream. He gains a +1 Damage if two of them are on the field as a friendly character and +1 Defence if all three are the field as a friendly character.
Transform: Neoscream: Give Neoscream a move action that deals no pushing damage. After the action resolves, replace him with any character with this trait on the same click number. Existing action tokens and action tokens for the action are applied to the replacement.
He should have about eight clicks of health and starting combat values of Speed 9, Attack 11, Defence 18, Damage 3 and Range 8 with one target. He should have the Decepticon team ability and his keywords should be Decepticon, Seeker and Robot.
Next the Jet Mode dial. In this mode he should have the Giant symbol, the Transporter Flight symbol, Running Shot, Energy Explosion, Toughness, Energy Shield Deflection, Range Combat Expert and two traits, "Family Ties" and "Transform: Neoscream". His starting combat values of Speed 14, Attack 10, Defence 19, Damage 3 and Range 8 with two targets. He should have the Decepticon team ability and his keywords should be Decepticon, Seeker and Vehicle.
Next the Phase Mode dial. In this mode he should have the Phasing, Willpower and two traits, "Non Physical Form" and "Transform: Neoscream".
Non Physical Form: Neoscream cannot be the target of Powers, Abilities or Attacks. At the end of a turn roll a d6, on the roll of a 1 or 2 deal one unavoidable click of damage to him.
His starting combat values of Speed 7, Attack 0, Defence 10, Damage 0 and Range 0. He should not have any team abilities or keywords. Next time I do a blog special I should hopefully be doing ideas for the Decepticon team ability, Ninjamus Prime and the Autobots team ability.

Until next time, Mecha Up.

Neoscream's Life, the 21st to the 27th of November

Nami
Welcome to another week of my life. The week before last Cosmic Commander ended again and I made a super saving on a new Wii controller. But what did last week being.

On Monday I worked from 11:30AM to 2:15PM. Work was busier than last work, but still to quite for this time of year. When I get home I found a missed post message at the door. Got to be the Doctor Who Wii Controller. I checked out the Monday Madness on Play.com, but there was not any thing that was a must get. However I did find another tablet pen for £5 pen out side of the sales which I bought as mine has gone missing somewhere at home. With the weather getting colder, I am going to need to wear gloves soon and I will not be able to use the tablet with out the pen. The only problem is using a tiny pen with thick gloves on. Also while watching the Gadget Show, I heard about the new Kindle Fire. I looked online about it. The Kindle Fire had just came out in America and there is plans the release it here in the UK, but no dates or hits of when it will released here. It is more tablet than eBook reader now. Colour touch screen, able to play videos and play games. It has cloud computing, however it does not have 3G at all, and it only has eight hours play life while the old Kindle had two months (if the WiFi and 3G is off). The lack of 3G and the battery life of the old one is a major let down. But for about £120, it is not that bad. Now is this what my mum needs, yes if there is a lot more free and easy to access WiFi spots, but sadly there is not and my mum needs to access e-mails easily on the go.

Tuesday was a day off work. I posted the Neoscream's Life post for last week like I normally do. I also added two new polls onto the blog and updated the DreamClix Dial Designs page. The first of the two polls is a poll to see what I do next after One Piece for the header pictures for these Neoscream's Life posts. The second is to see what will be the second (third if you count Piano Squall) special Cosplay Deviants Cosplay card, the first being Noel who had retired from Cosplay Deviants. After that I did some more painting of the Super Dungeon Explorer figures. In fact I have finished the Angry Panda, sorry I mean Angry Bear and a couple of Chests. During the day I also received two e-mails about orders that been cancelled due to no more stock. The first one was the metal Elf Archer for Super Dungeon Explorer as the modal is no longer being produced since the box set was reviled. I was fine with that as the old Games Workshop paints did not damage the plastic one from the box set. The second was a DVD I ordered on Play.com ages ago, the movie remake of Mobile Suit Gundam 0083. This was a super pain as I could have picked it up at London Expo. Face palm. Before I went to bed I checked the App Store for up dates and found that there is an update for ThinkFree Office Mobile. First I would like to review the old version before talking about the new one. It was a nice and simple. I mainly only used the word processor from is, but I had use the spread sheet a couple of time. The word processor was nice, you were able to add pictures. I sadly never used this feature yet, but it was the reason I got this over Documents To Go, which I used on my phone before getting the tablet. Having all the options hidden under the keyboard was a pain as well and the keyboard disappearing if the tablet is turned by mistake, but they were livable. Another problem was what you could not see where pages end so lay out can be a pain and you do not know how many pages you have written. In general out of five I would give it a good three if not four. Now for the new version. It had most, if not all, of  the problems I had with the old version were fixed. All the main options were at the top of the screen and it is displayed as pages like MS Word. It would be a five out of five if it was not for one major problem. The new version was designed for mobile phones only mind, as the program only displays as a small window on the tablet in the size of a mobile phone screen. This makes it totally useless to me. This problem turns it into an one out of five and that is being nice due to the improvement. Crap. I going to have to spend money on a new office suite when money is low due to a lack of hours at work and Christmas gifts to get.

Angry Panda Bear
On Wednesday morning I found a free one month trial of an office suite called OfficeSuite Pro 5. It is a lot like what ThinkFree Office was like but the format options are above the keyboard, other options like save, copy and paste are in the menu and the keyboard does not disappear if the tablet is turned. Oh and selecting things is a lot easier as the tags are a lot bigger. This will give me time to save, try it out and see if ThinkFree fixes the bug. I worked from 11:30AM to 3PM. After work I popped into Hobbycraft while waiting for my mum. When she turned up, we popped into Pet At Home to some cat toys for my mum's cats and my uncle's for Christmas. When we got home I asked my mum about the post that we missed on Monday. She had forgot it at work and she was next in work Friday, so I have to wait until Friday evening for the new Wii Controller. Other than that nothing really happened.

When I got up in the morning on Thursday I was told that Bandit, one of my mum's cats raid the Christmas toys. Bad Cat. Just before leaving to work I finally got a message from Honey Chain that I had been waiting awhile for. She had written it last week and just noticed that she had never sent it. I worked from 12PM to 4:30PM. wIn the evening, like normal on a Thursday, I went to HeroClix.

Now for this week's CosmicBreak news. All the big things that happened this week's update was for the weekend that has been and going before this post. I received an e-mail saying I made it in the top 500 for mission clearing. Yes I have won 50 roots to spend on a roll on the Mega Garapon. Sadly I typed in the code, it said it worked, but I never received the roots. What the hell? Tried the code again and it said I can only use one code during a promotion. Crap. No chance of getting Melfi, Toybox Girl or Squidol Girl.

Doctor Who Wii Controller
Friday was a standard day off work. I finished off and posted the HeroClix like I normally do on a Friday. I had at it trouble with posting the post. For some unknown reason, copying and pasting from OfficeSuite to the Blogger app adds a fuck load of HTML to it. About several lines of HTML code to ever couple of words. Sadly the code was blinking out. I managed to fix it, but it is going to be a nightmare if it keeps doing this. Ok, ThinkFree added extra HTML code too, but that was just an extra br were paragraphs are which could be easily fixed when I add the pictures. Why me! When my mum got home I finally get my new Doctor Who Wii Controller. It has a built-in rechargeable battery which could be useful if it keeps a charge. It is also quite long where the 1 and 2 buttons are quite far away from the other buttons. Useful for games you do not normal use them, but a pain on games you do use them in. I have to try it out to see how good it is. Other than that nothing really happened.

At coffee on Saturday were Richard and Darren H. We chatted about things like scam calls and OfficeSuite apps. I worked from 12PM to 4:20PM. When I got home the tablet pen had arrived. typing with it is a lot easier. than with a figure. I just manage to write up and posted the review of is Saturday's Cosplay Deviants set from KittyStar as Blaire came online. She was doing quite well with two group shows and a help of a lot of tips. Before going to bed I updated the DreamClix Dial Designs page and posted about all the updates to it this week.

Sunday was a normal day off work. Before I went to role-play I received a text message from Darren S. Jules had came down to Milton Keynes to play some HeroClix and Darren S wanted to know if I was free to do some games too. It would have been nice to see Jules, but sadly I was busy with role-play today.  Jules wasthe former head HeroClix Judge for the UK before he became a fireman (his dream job) and Topps closing down WizKids. At role-play we finished off Richard's game by heading to the town that we had to report to and collect the reward for the advancer. After that we went around town selling the loot we gathered. If Richard decides to continue it when it is his turn to GM again, we will be starting at level 7. After that we finished off working on characters for Peter Cyberpunk game. I am going to need to watch Son of a Gun on Discovery for research as my character is a Weapons Smith. In the evening Blaire was online again and busy too. I got a feeling that that time of day is good for her as there are lots of tippers and people wanting groups at that time. Before going to bed I posted the week's Watch, Listen and Read post.

Here is a list of post that will be posted during the coming week. Please note that things may change due to charges in work or time.

Neoscream's Life, the 24th to the 30th of October

Squidol Girl
Welcome to another week of my life. The week before last not much happen, but what chaos did last week bring. Well during the week both me and my mum had the week of. Oh and sorry that this was a day late, it was because I had a lot to write about for Saturday.

On Monday both me and my mum went the the shopping center as we both needed haircuts. After the haircut we had a quick look at TVs and Blu-Ray, as my mum decided to make the family Christmas present as a HD TV, a Blu-Ray player and Sky HD, oh and a stand. While checking Currys we picked up a new camera that was on sell, a Fujifilm Finepix LS5. After looking at TVs we went to Craftworld to pick up some bits. Some of them was needed to build something for my costume for London EXPO and the Halloween party I was going to. After that we went to Morrison's for lunch and food shopping. Note to self never eat it Morrison's at lunchtime, they are super slow at that time. We also rented Green Lantern. When we get home I started playing a new Facebook game called Monster Galaxy. It is a Pokémon like game with the types being based on the Zodiac. I also brought the tickets for London EXPO, but sadly had a problem painting them. The prints were very liney. Looks like we need to get more inks. Also I got all fourteen comics of the X-Men Necrosha story line from the Monday sell on the Marvel comic app on my tablet. It all cost about £9. I also updated the DreamClix Dial Designs page.

The Mark V Armour Suitcase starting to transform
On Tuesday I post the Neoscream's Life post of last week and a Cosplay Deviants review post of Jsice's set from last Saturday. Dad was super late home, 11:30PM, and we had to wait up for him. Oh and I started work on modifying the Games Workshop case into the Mark V suitcase.

On Wednesday we popped out gain. First we went to Staples for a couple of bits for mum as well as inks for the printer. Next we went to the Train Station to get tickets to London for Saturday. Afterwards we went to Currys to pickup a HD TV, a Blu-Ray player and a stand. We have lunch and then I quickly popped into Craftworld for some extra bit for the suitcase. When we got home we kicked out the old TV and while I setting up the new TV my mum throw away the boxes and ordered a HD Sky box. Sky say that we should get the box Monday next week. Luckily my mum is off work next week too. So she would be at home for the delivery. My mum kept some of the packing foam as it would make a better base than the Games Workshop case. We then realised that forgot to take the DVD we rented back so we went of to take it back and bought a Blu-Ray to test the player. I also updated the DreamClix Dial Designs page.

The suitcase I made
On Thursday I spent most of the day building the suitcast. Also chat to Honey Chain. In the evening I went to HeroClix. I did get to bed until 1AM.

Now for this week's CosmicBreak update news. Thursday's they revealed that they while be running a 2nd open Beta test of C21: Steel Battle Chronicles spin-off game that ment to be more action than shooter and by the look of it has no Moe characters.

On Friday I had to write most of the HeroClix post as I had not had the time to do it and finish off the suitcase. I thought I had most of the day to do it. Yer right. We went out yet again. First we went to Stony Stratford to drop off the books that did not sell on e-Bay to a second hand book store and to pick up some specialist cat food. Sadly we missed their morning openingand they will not be open again until 2PM. So we phoned my sad to try to pick it up. We then went somewhere for lunch. After lunch we popped to the doctors to pickup up prescription and got it filled out at the chemist. As some of the stuff needed to be kept cool, so we went home to drop off the bits. When we got home we found we miss a postal delivery, the new Sky box. As we could not pick it up until 3PM, we phoned dad to tell him that we would puck up the cat food. We then went food shopping. We got home again and unpacked afterward. When we finished unpacking and 2:30PM we went off again. First we went to Stony Stanford again for cat food and then to a post office to pickup the Sky box. We got home I started looking for a cable we needed to set up to Sky Box which I thought I had I a cable box. I was leaving it to Sunday to check when we thought it was Monday it was coming on. Sadly I did not have have the cable so we had to pop out yet again. After getting the cable and a couple of other bits at Maplins I set up the Sky box, but sadly we had a bit of a problem getting Sky upstairs. I know I had to try to work it out, but as it was 6PM, I thought it would be best to leave it until Sunday. Sadly with the little time I had could only finish off the basics of the suitcase and post the HeroClix post without the event rules and the Dial Designs. Before going to bed I remembered the i was forgetting to print the tickets, so I changed the ink and printed them. It was still very liney. Cleaning the heads did not work ever, so I had the hope that the barcode of the tickets will still work with how liney the prints were and that we have to that the printer in to PC World to get it fixed.

My Tony Stark costume
We got up at 5AM on Saturday morning to get ready to go to London EXPO, dress up as Tony Stark. The taxi pick us up at about 6:30AM and we court the 6:59AM Virgin train the London. We got to London at about 7:40AM and got to the Excel center where the London Comic Com MCM Expo (London EXPO or London Comic Con), at about 8:30AM. Doors were meant to open at 9AM, but the queue did not start moving until about 9:15AM. We had a look around of the stands where I found a stand that was sold HeroClix singles. The store was called Toi-Box. I picked up fifteen new figures. Some of the figures I picked up would have be useful on last Thursday's HeroClix game. The figures I picked up were:

Raven (Veteran, Icons)
Hawkeye (Secret Invasion)
Frankenstein (Arkham Asylum)
Talia Ghul (Rare, Brave and the Bold)
Goodness and Mercy (Brave and the Bold)
J. Jonah Jameson (Web of Spider-Man)
Donna Troy (75th)
Nightmaster (75th)
Angel (Giant Size X-Men)
Leech (Giant Size X-Men)
Luke Cage (Captain America)
Red Guardian (Captain America)
Lex Luthor (Superman)
Doomsday (Superman)
Anya Stroud (Gears of War)

The New Camera can take fantastic Panorama pictures.

Sorry, this is the best Beckii Cruel picture
from my camera. Like the old one it is no
good while using zoom.
I really like the new dial bases from the Superman set. They seem easier to turn. (However somehow after or during the convention Lex Luthor came off his base and now I can not turn his dial or open it.) At 10:30AM we hand some lunch from a noodles stand. We had lunch early due my mum's diabetes. Sadly it was not that great. We got back for the Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom demo at 10:30AM. We had a bit of trouble trying to find the main stage, as we were never given a map/time table. We manage to find the main stage to find that it was not the stage I wanted, it was the Totally Cosplay stage, I wanted. Luckily I saw and remembered where it was while looking from trying to find the main stage. So we quickly headed there for the Beckii Cruel performance. Sadly we missed a dance or two but did catch her debut single "You Can't Kiss Me 2011". For those who do not know anything about Beckii, she is a YouTube star from the UK who dances to Japanese Pop music. She has a huge Japanese following on YouTube, so big they invited her to Japan to perform on a ton of TV shows. I will try to post a video of one of her YouTube performance at the end of this post. After Beckii's show we looked around the stores again. At the Manga Entertainment stand I picked up Highschool of the Dead on Blu-Ray. I also wanted to get volume two of Soul Eater and season five of Bleach, but sadly they were not selling the individual volumes of Soul Eater and season five of Bleach was the only season of Bleach they did not seem to have in stock. We then pick up a One Piece backpack as we notice that the bag I use as a general bag, Laptop bag and a work bag, was starting to fall apart. Also my mum felt that we needed another bag with use. We stopped for a coffee so my mum could rest and put a couple of bits into the new bag. After coffee I picked up some Pocky. Then I remembered the one of the animes I wanted to pick up, Fate/Stay Night, was a MVM Anime (in the UK). So I popped into the MVM stand to pick up the box set of it. Then my mum saw a t-shirt she liked called "Release the Attack Kittens" and brought it. It got to about 2PM. At 2PM people with London Expo tickets could go to another event being held at the Excel center at the same time, Memorabilia London. It was basically like Collectimania in Milton Keynes but a lot smaller. After a look around there we went back to London Expo were I notice that Letraset was holding Manga art classes. I bought a ticket to one of them, The Secret of Paneling the Japanese Manga Way with Irina Richards. While I was at the class, my mum had a needed rest. It was quite interesting but I could that every body else at the class was much much more skilled it drawing than me. Their rough pictures were better than my best. On the way to meet up  my mum I noticeone of the stores sell Street Fighter HeroClix boosters for £2 each. So I brought six booster packs. The characters I pulled were:

Ken (Common)
Dhalsim (Common)
E. Honda
Guile (Common)
Dee Jay
Guile (Uncommon)

Best Torchwood panel picture I have
After re-meeting up with my mum, we popped to the Beez Entertainment (Europe version of Bandai Entertainment) stand as I wanted to know what was happening about the releases of the Moblie Suit Gundam Zeta movies and the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn episodes. Sadly due to the warehouse fire their had during the riots, they are suffering major delays and and stock shortages. They might be out by the May show or at least news of when they would be out. At 4PM we went to the Torchwood, panel. Before the panel, Stuart Claw (a UK presenter of all things Sci-Fi) was give away prizes. Sadly I did not win anything. At the Torchwood panel was Eve Myles (Gwen Cooper), Kai Owen (Rhys Williams), Arlene Tur (Vera Juarez) and Alexa Havins (Esther Drummond). It was really great, the only way it would have been better if they had John Barrowman (Captain Jack Harkness) and Mekhi Phifer (Rex Matheson) there. After the panel I tried to get a game of a new board game called Super Dungeon Explorer. I had heard about the game about a year when looking for figures to use for a Necromunda team. The game is made by Soda Pop Miniatures who are known for their Anime like miniatures. Sadly I could not get a game, but I get to watch one being played. The game is a dungeon crawling board game based on old arcade role-play games like Gauntlet. But with Chibi/super deformed heroes. After the game had finish I quickly pick up another HeroClix figure at the Toi-Box store before the convention closed for the day. It was the non chase Cammy from Street Fighter as I did not pull her in my boosters and I needed her for a team I want to do with Guile and Anya Stroud. We had bagels for dinner before heading heading back to Milton Keynes. London Expo was has gotten better since I was last there but the lack of anime voice acters was a major upset. Ok, Vic Mignogna was there, but i already got his signature from a past show. I am not saying it is a bad thing that Vic has come back, but only one anime voice actor who has done the convention at least one does not get peopke tp come back. On the tube I had a little accident where I hurt one of my toes and damaged the handle of the suitcase. Crap. When we got to Euston we picked up some sellotape to repairs the suitcase as I was going strait to a Halloween party when we got back to Milton Keynes. We got back to Milton Keynes about 8:15PM. My dad pick my mum up and gave me my Brother's Strawberry Cider for the party. The party was at Colette's. Darren H, Richard, Simon, Jake, Colette and about seven others were there. Not all at the same time. Sadly not many people were dressed up and most people left early so I got a taxi home at 11:30PM (before the clocks moved back). With the Mark V suitcase I have some plans on improving it. Finish of the missing bits on the sides, redo the handle and recover it with metallic paper to give it a metallic look.

I woke up at about 11AM (after the clocks moved back) on Sunday. As my parents manage to find a fix for the Sky box problem, I could just get on with working on my blog. Done two updates to the DreamClix Dial Designs page, posted about it, posted a review about Wednesday's Cosplay Deviants set and making the dials that I was meant to have do on last Thursday's HeroClix post. I will be doing a review of Saturday's great set from Kittystar when I can. (I have been too busy writing this post to write it yet.)

Now here is the video of Beckii Cruel's debut single "You Can't Kiss Me 2011" with an introduction from Beckii. This is from her YouTube account xBextahx.

Here is a list of post that will be posted during the coming week. Please note that things may change due to charges in work or time.

Heroclix, The missing dial designs and special rules

Hi all, here is the second half of last week's the HeroClix post. A quick news update. Wizkids have reviled images of a new colossal figure out next year. One that I have been wanting to see for a long time. The Sentinel master him self Master Mold. Sadly they said it was too early for a dial. Also Darren text to say that there will be no Heroclix this week and at London EXPO I picked up a bunch of new HeroClix figures. I will try to state them in this week's HeroClix post.

Now here are the rules to last week's HeroClix game:

Bystanders and Objects
Normal amount of objects. (3 per player).
3D2 random bystander tokens each. (3 to 6 per player)
Bystander tokens are placed at random and will not move, but still block line of site, need to break away etc...
Bystander tokens can be attacked but it will get in a free preemptive strike first.
Once a bystander is KO'd used as follows, if the bystander is not picked up or used, the body decomposes at the end the current turn:

  • The bystander can be used as an object for two combat attacks. The first attack it is treated as a Heavy Object and on the second it is treated as a Light Object. (Must have Super Strength and must be an infected character to do this).
  • Throw the bystander as if you have a range of 8. It does 3 damage to the target and 2 damage to all adjacent figures (Must have Super Strength and must be an infected character to do this).
  • Eat Brains: Give the character a free action for a Regeneration roll. (Infected character only).
  • Life Juices: Give the character a free action for a Support action. (Infected character only).

The Infected
Characters with the Monster keyword starts the game as infected, infected characters cannot be infected again!
If a monster infected character damages a non infected character in close combat, the non infected character becomes newly infected!

Newly infected characters lose a clix of life at the start of every subsequent turn until KO'd.

Sometime they come Baacckkk!!!
What a character is KO'd all the applied (i.e. 4 damage on the last click means click through 3 clicks of KO's). If the clicks re-entered the start line, these clicks are classed as OKs. However sometimes they come back!
Characters with the monster keyword gets a free regeneration roll when KO'd, if a non KO click is showing after the roll, they rejoin the battle on that click.
Infected characters without the monster keyword gets a free support roll on themselves that automatically hit.  If a non KO click is showing after the roll, they rejoin the battle on that click and now has the Monster keyword.
A figure can come back an infinite amount of times dependent on the die roll it's best smash them fecking monsters to bits!

Victory
Victory points are only scored on characters that are KO'd at the end of the game including Bystanders. Last man standing wins.

And lastly here are the missing DreamClix dials from last week's HeroClix post. Just in time for Halloween.

Until next time, have fun.

Neoscream's Life, the 17th to the 23th of October

Mialy
Welcome to another week of my life, now back on the tabet. The week before last revealed teaser trailers for two Transformers games out next year, but what did last week bring.

On Monday I worked from 10AM to 5PM. Sometime during the day I received a text from Darren H. On it he said to make and bring a 1,200 points Named theme team to HeroClix just in case the brothers can not make it this week. In the evening I posted a review post of the Saturday before last Cosplay Deviants set. Sadly I will not be doing the two for last week due to time.

On Tuesday morning there was no Blaire due to the fact that Cudda was sick. She said they will be on tomorrow. Before going to work I posted last week's Neoscream's Life post. I worked from 10:30AM to 3:30PM. I did a bit of work on a new story I have been working on called Mecha Knights. This was going to be a place holder name, but after a search online I can not see why it can not be a the real name. I will try to do some designs of characters and mechas and post them at a later date. In the evening I built two 1,200 points team building for HeroClix.

Rouche
There was no Blaire on Wednesday morning as Cudda was still sick. I worked from 10:30AM to 2PM. As I was leave I was told I was now working Thursday which I was noted as off work all week. Well it's more hours. I DID a bit of work on the story I have been working on. As my dad was working late due to preparing for a refit, my and my mum ordered pizza. As I was now working six days this week, I did the mid week update to the DreamClix page.

On Thursday Blaire was finally online. Cudda was still sick, but well enough to play a joke on Blaire. Dog napping one of her dogs, Kola. Also after a long time Buddie her other dog appeared on cam. I was beginning to worry about him. As I was chatting with Blaire and collecting three long HeroClix teams, I was too busy this morning to play on any of my Facebook games. I worked from 11AM to 3PM. When I started work I found I now have off Friday. Ok I wish they did not change my hours the day before. In the evening I had HeroClix like normal. I ended up going to bed about 1AM due to doing bits and bobs.

Now for this week's CosmicBreak update news. Thursday's update bought us two new Halloween moes, Pepo Pucci and Nemlim. I should be doing dial ideas for both of the and a Chibi version of Pepo Pucci in this week's HeroClix post.

Friday was a off work. I finish off day posted the HeroClix post. Sadly all day I suffered from a nasty head ache.

On Saturday at coffee were Richard and Darren H who were both nearly half an hour late. We chatted about work leave and computer games. I also told them that I will not be at coffee next week as I am off to London for London EXPO. I have not been able to go for a long time. I trier to remember to take pictures and may be some videos for the blog, oh and hopefully some anime news too. After coffee I worked from 12PM to 4PM. After work I update the DreamClix Dial Designs page.

Blaire and Buddie on Thursday
Sunday was a day off like normal and the start of my eight day holiday from work. It was chaos searching online for bus routes due to the changes to the Milton Keynes bus time tables on Sundays. Luckily I founded the route I needed and then the GPS on the tablet. In role-play we first battled a pair of Doppelganger and a nasty trap with a Mimic posing as a door at the bottom of a slop hallway with a tumbling Gelatinous Cube heading towards the party. In the evening I posted two posts. The first was a post about the week's updates on the DreamClix Dial Designs page and the other one was the week's Watch, Listen and Read post. I will do a review post of Saturday's Cosplay Deviants set, just did not get a round to write it yet.

Here is a list of post that will be posted during the coming week. Please note that things may change due to charges in work or time.

Wednesday the 26th of October: "Cosplay Deviants" review post.
Friday the 28th of October: "HeroClix Extended".
Sunday the 30th of October: Start of eight day off work, "DreamClix Dial Designs", "Watch, Listen and Read" and "Cosplay Deviants" review post.
Tuesday the 1st of November: "Neoscream's Life".

As I am off work this week there will be four updates to the DreamClix Dial Designs page, the DreamClix side to the HeroClix post will be larger and there might be an extra post on Sunday about London EXPO. Well until next time, have fun.

Neoscream's Life, the 3rd to the 9th of October

Kuten Jikun Long & Feng Mei
Welcome to another week of my life, now back on the tabet. The week before last was returning technology, but what did last week bring.

On Monday I worked from 11AM to 3PM. After watching the Gadget Show in the evening, I downloaded a great application from Android they showed on Suzi's top five tablet applications. It was a face recognition security software. I also checked out their top 100 applications on their website and picked up a couple of new applications from it. On top of that I got a voice recording application as I was point on writing a story I have been planning on writing a long time and I wanted to record the basics of the story so I could fresh it out as I write it. Sadly it was not working for me.

On Tuesday morning I just managed to catch Blaire and Cudda as they came on Skinvideo. After they left I posted last week's Neoscream's Life post before going to work. At work I worked from 10:45AM to 3PM. Other than that I did not do much.

Blaire on Tuesday
On Wednesday I had no work. On Facebook I started playing two new games. Dungeon Overlord and Heroes City. Dungeon Overlord seems to a web remake of a classic PC game (and a all time favourite of mine) Dungeon Keeper. However it does feel a bit slow. Heroes City is a city building game were your city is home to a super hero group. You basically build a city, hire heroes and send the heroes on missions that will earn you resources. The heroes in the game are rip offs of comic book characters, anime characters and movie characters/stars. I also updated the DreamClix Dial Design which I never post about (until Sunday) and posted a review post about last Saturday's Cosplay Deviants set. Not long after I put together a HeroClix team, I received a text received a text from Darren S that there was no HeroClix this. Then about an hour after that I received a text saying that he called it off as the brothers (Michael and Adrian) could not. However if I was up to it, we could do a massive Mutants vs Sentinels HeroClix game, which I was.

I was off work on Thursday with my mum. We popped into the city center as the whole family needed sockets and my mum wanted to look at getting iPhone 3GS. She never bothered to get one as the pay as you go was sold up and they kept on upping the monthly cost of it. It start at £15 a month, it then went up to about £22 when they heard she needed it for called and internet instead of text messages. Then when they heard where she worked and they offer her a discounted package. With the discount she would have to pay £28 a month. WTF? No thank you. We had a little wander around. We picked up some sockets, a standard tablet pen (one that acts like a figure) and a light for my mum's Kindle. We had some lunch at Pizza Hut and then did the food shopping. In the evening I went to HeroClix were Michael did turn up after all.

Now for this week's CosmicBreak update news. A bunch of new campaigns have started, but the is no new Moes or Chibis released released this week. Unless you count the prize to the Chibi Collection campaign. However there is a picture Halloween style Moe on the site.

Was still off work on Friday. In the morning I received a phone call from Marise who was back at work this week after being away for eight months as she was having a baby. She wanted to know why I was not at work. Because management were not giving me hour. After the call I finished off and posted the HeroClix post and posted a post about Wednesday's Cosplay Deviants set. In the evening dad was very late home due to staffing problems. He is normal home by 6:30PM but did get home today until 8:30PM. Ok about fifteen to thirty minutes of it was due to picking up a take-a-way. After a late dinner I was watching a episode of "Let's Both Play Pokémon Emerald" on YouTube. In it the main host, said that he was not the first person to use split screen in a Pokémon Let's Play, which he thought he was. It was Mr Nintendo Fan Man who did it first. I had a look at at their account, where I noticed something interesting, a Let's Play of Pokémon RijonAdventures. I just it most be one of these hacked games I have been seeing around, but never bothered to try. I watch to two episodes he done and thought I should try it out. So I hunted around for a downloadable copy and played a little before going to bed. It was a hacked version of Pokémon FireRed, were the map and parts of the story line had been altered big time. It is a whole new region called Rijon. The starting Pokémon and all the wild Pokémon are first generation Pokémon, however other trainers do have second and third generation Pokémon. I picked Squirtle as may starter as it is me favourite all time starter and I catchered a Zubat.

Blaire on Saturday
I was awakened about 6:30AM on Saturday morning from sounds of a cat fight coming from outside the front and by how high pitched it was I know there was a Siamese cat in it. MING! I rush down stairs to open up the front door calling out to my mum about it. As the beep door was locked and I had to find the key to unlock it, my mum managed to unlock the back door a Ming came in from the back with Bandit. Ming was terrified big time and one on his ears was injured. Luckily not bad enough for the vets. Bandit looked a little shocked too. I went back to bed for an hour. I did not really sleep, just daydreamed. When I got up I played a little bit of Pokémon RijonAdventures. Then I got a text from Richard say he could not make it to coffee this week. I chat by text to Darren H and we decided to call off coffee for this week. So I played a bit more Pokémon before going to work. I also text Richard asking if role-play was still happening, as he could not do coffee. He replied, "Can't make coffee". At work I worked from 12PM to 5PM. Work wanted me to work on Sunday, but as I had role-play then I could not. Sadly I could have done with the hours with the lake of hours I been doing with both London Expo, Halloween and Christmas come up. Anyway, after work in the evening I played on the Pokémon game some more. Blaire came online about 11PM and I chatted with her until midnight, when I went to bed. By the end of the day my team it Pokémon RijonAdventures was Wartortle, Zubat, Vulpix, Paras, Meowth and Jolteon. But I did have a Venomat as part of the team for a while.

LalaRicotte
On Sunday morning I went to check the spelling for Richard's address to search online at bus times, I found I had a message from Richard from last night I had missed. He had cancelled role-play. Dam it, I found have earned so money. BEEP! I went food shopping with my mum then, as I had no role-play or work. While out I got a phone call from Marisa. She wanted to know if I seen next week's hours yet, which I had not. When I got home I tried hunting for a guide to Pokémon RijonAdventures and found another YouTube Let's Play. Watching it I noticed the Merson Cave was a bit different, like where the fossils were and person who took the other one. I did a bit of research online and found I had an old version of the game. The 2008 Xmas Beta version. I managed to find after some searching on the Rijon official website a newer version. 2010 Alpha Version. Also the are two other games that come before it. The first one is Pokémon Brown, it was a hacked version of Pokémon Red and winner of the 2007 hacked games award. The second was Pokémon Prism which was a hacked version of Pokémon Gold. Oh and Pokémon RijonAdventures was the winner of the 2008 hacked game award. As like most hacked games of this type, it is still being worked on and there are bugs. However it is complete up to the Eliter four, after that is still super buggy in South Rijon. With the new version on the game I restart. Last time I was naming the Pokémon after people or animals I know, but this time I decided to name them after Decepticons. At the end of the day I had my level 17 starter who had evolved into Wartortle which I named Starscream. Two level 14 main team mates, a Vulpix called Slipscream and a Paras called Soundwave. And three level 12 place holders place holders who were a Diglett called Skywarp, a Pidgey called Ramjet and a Bellsprout called Jackal (a made up con). Oh and in the box is a Zubat called Ratbat, a Geodude called Mixmaster, a Meowth called Ming (had to do it), an Ekans called Shockwave, a Growlithe called Thrust, an Oddish called Frenzy, Venonat called Laserbeak, a Mankey called Rumble and a Slowpoke called Devastator. Also some time during the day I updated the DreamClix Dial Design page and posted about all the updates I have done to it this week.

Here is a list of post that will be posted during the coming week. Please note that things may change due to charges in work or time.

Wednesday the 12th of October: "Cosplay Deviants" review post.
Friday the 14th of October: "HeroClix".
Saturday the 15th of October: "Cosplay Deviants" review post.
Sunday the 16th of October: "Watch, Listen and Read".
Tuesday the 18th of October: "Neoscream's Life".

Well until next time, have fun.
