MK HeroClix: 31st of January - Uncommon Themes

Welcome to the MK HeroClix post. This is a weekly post with HeroClix news and results of Thursday's HeroClix game at MK Wargames Society at York House. This week there was previews of a Rhino, Kraven the Hunter and Alyosha Kraven from Marvel The Amazing Spider-Man which should be out now. 

This week’s game was 500 points, 3 actions, at the team must be a rarely used or unused Named theme. I decided to go for a team I used once last year. Nova Corps.

In the first round I was up against Adrian. He was using a New Warriors themed team who were:

The game was somewhat close, but I lost. Also Darren defeated Michael in their game. In the second round I was up against Michael. He was using a Checkmate themed team who were:

Most of Michael’s character had stealth, this was a pain for most of the game. However, I slowly managed to wipe out all, but Mademoiselle Marie. So I managed to win the game. Also Adrian lost his game against Darren. In the third and final round I was up against Darren. He was using an Outsiders themed team who were:

Like normal Darren creamed me, but by the look of it (not 100% sure) I managed to do the most damage to his team. So I lost this game. Next week will be 750 points, 4 actions, no figure over 125 point, the team must have eight figures (no more, no loss).
