Neoscream's Life: 26th May to 1st June 2014

AMX-117R Gazu-R
Welcome to the Neoscream's Life post. This is a weekly post of some of the things I have done during last week and news on the great Geek Goddess, AJ Lee.

“Life”

The weather is week has been a nightmare with painting during most of the week as I have not been able to do any undercoating due to the rain (it also does not help that I have almost ran out of black undercoat as well). Well looking at the brighter side of things it does mean I will not be adding to the back log and I can use the time doing. However, online I learnt that the technique I use to undercoat might not be a good one and is slow quicker, so when I managed to do some spraying on the weekend I tried the different technique. I found it was terrible. It was much quicker, however the coverage was poor (OK it does not help that I had a different band of undercoat than normal as well).

Now for some TV reviews, warning there may be some spoilers. First off Arrow. For those who do not know, Arrow is a show based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow. It has had many DC characters appears (well villains). Two villains stand quite high up from the other, Marlin and Deathstroke, both were fantastically done and are fantastic characters. I have really enjoyed both seasons and cannot wait until season three and the spin-off for the Flash. One thing I have to note is that Gotham is not a part of this universe and because of Fox getting the rights to use many of the Batman characters, Arrow and Flash will not see more than what we have seen. But there might be some easter eggs like what they did with Harley Quinn.

Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke from Arrow
Next is Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. For these who do not know the show is linked to the Marvel Avengers Movies. It focuses on a team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who are led by Agent Phil Coulson, who has somehow came back from the dead after dieing during Avengers. The storyline mainly focused on finding out how he came back from the dead, finding out Sky's past and finding/stopping the organisation(s) trying building super soldiers (well an army of Deathloks). The season was slip into two half. The like the first half, but most people did not. However Marvel learnt from the fans and due to the shake up to S.H.I.E.L.D. during Captain America 2, the show change and become MUCH better than what it was as it added more Marvel comics nods. A second season has been approved and Marvel are making several new shows to go with the universe. The first being Agent Carter, which will air the beginning of next year during the mid season break for Season two of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. It is about Captain America's war time girlfriend Peggy Carter, after the war as she help Howard Stark set up a new secret organisation known as the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. Also sometime early next year there will be several thirdteen episode shows airing on Netflix. These will be Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. They will then be followed by a four to eight episode mini series called Defenders, which will bring the four heroes together. Depending on how well these five shows do there might be more Defenders series in the future.
