Welcome to “Gaming News from Neoscream”. This is my
weekly gaming news post for miniature games, RPGs, some card games and computer
games.
“Gaming News”
First of is the Dragon Tides KickStarter. The
KickStarter ended this week. They
managed to make $101,999 and had 742 backers. Since last week they have managed
to unlocked: A prequel storyline for Luke Elba with a double-side location
board and tokens has been added to all levels; the Soda Pop Miniatures
character Candy Kunoichi as an add-on; the character Lion Sloane has been added
to Jade Dragon level and above; the Greater Than Than Games character The
Operative as an add-on; the characters Colt Booker has been added to Jade
Dragon level and above; the Marrow Production (Journey: Wrath of Daemons) character
Zhi Lan as an add-on; the character Casey Storm has been added to Jade Dragon
level; and two new sculpts for the
Henchmen.
The stretch goals that they could not make were:
Unique artwork for each of the signature moves at $105k; the Japanime Games
character Oscar Kass as an add-on at $110k; and the character General Fang will
be added to Jade Dragon level at $115k.
Next is the new version Paranoia news. Over the week
they managed to unlock: The Secret Society expansion deck. The Stretch Goals that still going on: An extra
adventure added to Ultraviolet at £135k; and the Game’s Master’s Scream at
£150k.
Now for the Wireless Power Board Game Terrain and
Miniature Lighting KickStarter. Sadly it is still being funded, however they
have added a bunch of new backer levels and add-ons.
Next is the Privateer Press news. Next Wednesday will
see the release of Skorne Epic Cavalry Battle Engine Warlock Xerxis the Fury of
Halaak, the Minion Farrow Warlock Helga the Conquerer and issue 57 of No
Quarter magazine. Also the re-release of the ten man Flameguard Cleansers
Protectorate Unit, the fifteen man Blackbane's Ghost Raiders Cryx Character
Unit, the six man Strider Blightblades Legion Blighted Nyss Unit, the six man
Strider Rangers Legion Blighted Nyss Unit, the ten man Praetorian Keltarii
Skorne Unit and the ten man Praetorian Swordsmen Skorne Unit.

Now for the Stonehaven Miniatures news. This week we
got an image of the green for the Half-Orc Ranger.
Next is the Mechadrome Heavy Metal Combat news. They have
now officially finished sending all pledge orders. In fact I received a message
after last week’s post saying that my copy of the rulebook is in the post.
Sweet.
Now for the Last Saga news. It has been delayed to
until mid-December at the earliness.
Next is the
Mantic news. The Kings of War Mini Kickstarter will be starting today. Durring
the week they have been given us some art work for the new army they are doing,
Forces of the Abyss. You might recognise the basic design from Dungeon Saga: The Dwarf King’s Quest.
Mars Attacks
has hundred percent finished shipping to backers. We also got previews of more
DreadBall Xtreme stuff.
Now for the
HeroClix news. In may they will be releasing a new marvel set called Avengers
Assemble. This will be linked with the new Organized Play Storyline called Age
of Ultron which will come with its own event boosters too.
Next is the Dust: Operation Babylon news. Shipping is
currently being delayed due to complications with the others and how they organised things.
Now for the Mechabrick news. They have almost fix all
the foreseen company based problems they have been having and they are hoping to
got things rolling again soon. Due to the year wait they will be doing all
stretch goals that they have not been able to unlock and a winged jet pack too
to make it up with the backers.
Next is the Shadows of Brimstone news. Shipping is
going very slowly. Due to shortages in delivery of Red minis and problems with
shipping from China at the moment, only half of the UK will be getting the Red
minis. The rest will have to sadly wait until wave two for theirs, which is
currently meant to ship in August 2015. Wait a nine month wait for half of the
UK for something everybody else in the world is getting. I am glad I was only watching
this KickStarter and had not backed it (over $1) or I would have been super
pissed with this news.
Lastly is
the current Hasslefree Miniatures Sculpting Contest news. Still no news, but I have e-mailed them last night.

delay due to problems and currently have no dates on when these will start
shipping, but I feeling that they will be sometime in 2015

shipping

Babylon”, the digital copy of “Mekton Zero” rulebook, the coloured ran of
“Pop-Up Miniature Terrain Kit”, “Bubblegum Crisis Ultimate Edition Blu-Ray Set”
(comes with a digital copy of the old RPG rulebooks), “Arcadia Quest” from the
EU hub, wave one of “Journey Wrath of Daemons" and hopefully the physical
copy of “OVA” are meant to start shipping sometime this month

Next week there should be two Rebs Sorak, a Rebs Yndij,
a Standard Zombie Runner, a Standard Zombie Fatty, a Dog Companion and three Standard
Zombie Walkers.
I have not really done much painting this week.
