Gaming News from Neoscream: 5th June 2015

Welcome to the “Gaming News from Neoscream”. This is my weekly gaming news post for miniature games, RPGs, some card games, my painting and upcoming local events.

“Gaming News”

First off we have the HeroClix news. We got previews of: Buster Blader from Yu-Gi-Oh Series Three; and Hercules and Giant-Man from Marvel Age of Ultron Event. Also WizKids has partnered with Nickelodeon to release tabletops games based of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The current plan is too do HeroClix and Dice Master stuff.

Next is the Mantic news. Kings of War Second Edition is being split into two waves now. Wave one is still set to ship in July while wave two is coming later this year. Wave two will be: Forces of Nature; Forces of Abyss; Valandor and Ba’el; all the Dragons; and the Campaign Book. Wave one should hit retail in August.

Now for the Home Raiders news. They have unlocked since last week’s post: Retail pledges will now come with an extra copy of the core game that is unpacked as a store copy.
The stretch goal that was still going when I posted this was: The faction “Freeloaders” with their faction starter set as an add-on at £30k; and a Freeloaders Booster with the Archivists and the Keeper of the flaming stick as an add-on at £33k.
The KickStarter will be ending on Sunday. Let us see what can be unlocked between now and then.

Next is the Wyrd Games news. This week in the Monday preview, we got three new renders of the Insidious Madness.

Now for the Ninja Division news. With Super Dungeon Explore The Forgotten King, we have be given some estimated times of arrival times for wave two to the warehouses. The US warehouse will receive their stuff on 16th of June. The UK warehouse will receive their stuff on 30th of June. The EU warehouse will receive their stuff on 24th of June. There is currently no estimated date for Austria yet. The Hong Kong stuff have arrived and will ship shipping to backers in their area soon.

Next is the Zero Agents news. Since last week they have manage to unlock: Elite Operative 3; the Boss "The Doctor"; and an Extra Agents add-on pack with all the figures minus the Elite Operatives.
With the stretch goals all they revealed that there is one at $65k and one at $70k.

Now for the Guild Ball news. The painted pledges have not shipped yet as they have been having problems with the original studio. They have moved to a new studio to do the painting and it will take them three to four weeks to do the work.

Next is the Stonehaven Miniatures news. Their Half-Orc Adventures stuff should have started shipping this week but due to problems it will start shipping next week. To make up for the delay they have release some Minecraft skins.

Now for the Battle System news. Their Fantasy Dungeon Terrain is still on target for a mid to late July shipment. They were wanting to do a repaint of their Sci-Fi terrain for Summer 2015, however this will not be until 2016 now. They still have Stronghold sets on their web store, but most of the add-on are out of stock.

Next is the DAC: Dungeon Architect Cards news. Most of the cards are in now and they should be starting shipping soon by the sound of things. Hang on is this a Kickstarter that is shipping two months early? OMG!

Now for the Ghostbusters the board game news. Sony Entertainment have approved all the stuff now and moulds are being made for the figures. We also got images of all the ghost cards for the game too.

Next is the Privateer Press news. This week we got previews of the Skorne Epic Warlock Zaal the Ancestral Advocate, the Minion Farrow Battle Engine the Meat Thresher; the Retribution Warcaster Thyron the Sword of Truth, the Mercenary Steelhead character Solo Sergeant Nicolas Verendrye and the Mercenary Ordic Thamarite character Solo Savio Montero Acosta.

Now for something rare from me, computer gaming news. As you might have seen on my blog or on the internet, there is a sequel to XCOM Enemy Unknown coming out in November. It is being done by the team behind the expansion Enemy Within. I Cannot wait from this to come out as I do enjoy playing XCOM.

Neoscream's Life: 3rd to 9th February 2014

AMA-01X Jamru Fin (Mobile Armour mode)
Welcome to the Neoscream's Life post. This is a weekly post of some of the things I have done during last week and news on the great Geek Goddess, AJ Lee. Yes it is a day early, but as a had today off work unexpectedly I thought I might as well post it early so I am not rushing to do it Tuesday.

“Life”

At collage this week I re-sat the chapter one exam and got 95.3%, a massive different. I only got two questions wrong and that was due to a drag and drop mistake. Next week well be the main course exam. Note this exam is not the two main A+ exams. I still need to find and sit them. But being about £120 each before VAT and not £60 each that most people were saying during the course, I might have to want a while to do them sadly.

I was off work this week to study for next week’s exam. I also did a bit of tidying in my room too and got a bit of gaming on XCOM Enemy Within and Minecraft Pixelmon. Oh and I went to Simon's with Richard on Saturday.

“AJ Lee (and WWE)”

I miss last week that AJ was on Main Event. She was on commentary while Tamina Snuka was in a match against Natalya. According to what I read, it was one of her best as she did not have to deal with Jerry "The King" Lawler, Michael Coal and JBL. Dam it, why cannot we have Main Event in the UK, we miss great events like that. Sadly Natalya won the match.

AJ was on Raw this week and again as she was commentary, but this time she had to deal with the trio. This was during the match between Naomi and the team of Alice Fox and Aksana. Naomi won.

AJ was in action on Smackdown in match against Nikki Bella. Nikki got distracted when she mistakenly knocked her sister off the side of the ring which cost her the match. Teaches Brie for interfering in a match. So the Geek Goddess, AJ won again. Sweet.

Neoscream's Life: 4th to 10th of November

AMX-003 Gaza-C (Mobile Suit)
Welcome to the Neoscream's Life post. This is a weekly post of some of the things I have done last week and news on the great Geek Goddess, AJ Lee. I have decided to post this week's post a day early as I am currently on holiday from work due to having a new kitchen fitted. I was going to do it last week, but near got round to do it.

“Life”

On Monday last week I sorted out my HeroClix figures and help my dad (who was off work last work) to put up the new shed. Sadly we never got to finish the shed be sunset due to a couple of minor problems. We only have the lock, the windows and some minor décor. Oh and I posted the open video to Gundam Build Fighters on the blog.

On Tuesday last week we finished the shed (after it stopped raining), and cleared out the kitchen. Outside that I sorted out two draw of one of my old chest of draws, three boxes under my bed and did some studying for this week’s test for the A+ course I am doing. I ended up with one bag of rubbish so far I also had a phone call from Simon. He was panicking that he missed the week before episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which he did not as there was not an episode that week sadly. Oh and I posted the “Neoscream’s Life” post for the week before.

On Wednesday last week the Kitchen fitters arrived. They come about 8AM and ripper out the old kitchen, damaging the laminated floor in hall way. We were planning on replacing it in the future so they give my dad a number of some who could fit laminated flooring and my dad called him to come over for quote which they did not on the day. As the people doing the fencing have been mess us around, dad had someone else come it to check it. They could not give a quote strait away, but they said they would e-mail us back with quotes. As their electrician was not with them and that they still had week to do in the job that coursed the two day delay, they went off at about 11AM. Saying that they will be coming back later with the electrician to do the electrical work and plastering. They came back at about 2:45PM. The electrician checked the work he needed to do and said he could not do it on the day as he needs to get the new electrics which did not come with the new kitchen bits. Plus by the look of thinks it seems like this is the first time the electrician had known about this job. So they left. During the day I did some more studying, took the chapter three quiz, did some blog writing and continued sorting out my room I have cleared/tidied both chests of draws and sorted all the boxes. I have found my Tau but not my Kroot stuff (will I did find one Kroot which is all that I need for now).

The Kitchen on Sunday
On Thursday last week I updated the “Gaming with Neoscream” post with the news that during the night and the evening the day before when I first got up. The assistant to the main Kitchen Fitter turned up at about 8:20AM on his own when he was meant to be there with the main guy and the electrician at 8AM. As there was no electrician, all that the assistant could do was build the units so that they can be put into place after the electrical work and plastering. My dad believes that they are doing two jobs at once when they should be doing just the one at a time. After work on blog posts I got on to sorting out my Marvel HeroClix cards and tidying selves before getting ready and going to my course. The main guy finally turned up at about 2:15PM, Over six hour after he said he would be. He helped his assistance putting up the units and work surfaces. I left home at 4PM to get a bus to the train station so I could get a Subway for dinner before going to my course. This time we quickly reviewed chapter three and we did the exam which I got 95.3%. Only one question was wrong and it was a common one most people were getting wrong. I am over the moon with the result. This means my average is 83.6% a pass is 75% or more. When I got home I was told the fitters left as about 5:45PM and have messed things up. Instead of fitting a bin cabinet by the doorway, they fitted a standard cabinet and at first they did not follow what we have said to BnQ and them about leaving a bit more room for the refrigerator. This meant they had to change one of the cabinets to a smaller one. Still not work on the electrical and plastering has been done and most of the units are up now. Also the guy dad called about the laminated flooring was meant to have visited at 2PM, but never turned up.

On Friday morning I did a ton of work on blog posts and writing up the notes I have done for Meacha Knight into full rules. The kitchen fitters came later than normal as they had a shower to fit for another job. The electricians arrived at about 12:40PM will I was busy posting the “Gaming with Neoscream” post. I first thought I would be fine as my laptop that had been on the mains so I could finish the post. However I forgot the modem would go down when the power is cut. I did have the idea I could turn my phone into a hotspot. The phone supported it, but my contact did not, so I could not do it. So it delayed my post and I had to reboot my phone as trying to use it as a hotspot killed the browser. Beep, Beep, Beep. We got power back about three hours later and finished posting the post. As I got internet back, an old friend on MFC had come back after a LONG time. However she decided to leave as it felt weird coming back. It was great seeing her again, even though it was brief. The Kitchen Fitters and the guy doing the laminated floor never turn up at all and we do not know if they are working Saturday or not as there are not answering our calls. In the evening I finally got round to some paint and undercoated another wave of figures. I also received an e-mail saying that my Kingdom Death order has been sent, seven and a half days after I brought it.

On Saturday morning I wrote up the results of the end of the Elven Adventurers Box Set KickStarter and played some Pixelmon. I had been playing it all week and the weekend before. The game is a Pokemon mod for Minecraft. The assistant kitchen fitter arrived at about 8:40PM which meant they were working on a Saturday. He continued working on fitting units by the look of thing and had not started on the plastering. Face palm. I left my mum keeping an eye on things when I left for coffee as it was her day off and dad had to go into work for a couple of hours in the morning. I was a normal coffee with Richard and Darren H. After coffee me and Darren H looked around the city centre for Mexican style stuff for Jake’s secret Mexican themed very late birthday party. OK the party was not a surprise as he arranged it. It was the Mexican themed that was the surprise. Sadly all we could find is a pack of stick-on mousses. If I had remembered to sort something out earlier I would have brought a Mexican wrestling mask. Never mind. I got home about 12PM with lunch for my parents as my dad was back from work. It was still the assistant kitchen fitter only when I got back but the main guy arrived at about forty minutes later and then they started work on the surfaces. He only stayed for something like an hour or two. By time the assistant left at about 6PM the work surfaces was done as well as about 95% of the units.  Later Darren H picked me up and we went to Jack’s late fortieth birthday party. There was a real Mexican band there playing music there. It was a good time.

On Sunday there were no kitchen fitters as it was a Sunday. The People who were meant to be doing the new fence never turned up again, but they did phone about midday saying that they cannot did this Sunday and they had not yet picked up the new fence. They SHOULD be coming Sunday this week if they can pick up the fencing stuff by Tuesday. I helped my mum tidy downstairs as much as we can and posted the Cosplay Deviants post.

“AJ Lee (and WWE)”

AJ was in a six Diva match on Raw last week. She was teamed up with her bodyguard Tamina Snuka and her old tag team partner back in her FWC days, Aksana. They were ageist Eva Marie and the blood Bella Twins. Sadly they lose Eva manage to pin Tamina for the win.

Also on last week’s Raw, Big E Langston was new of the three options for the fans to vote for as Randy Orton’s opponent and he won it by a landslip. The other chooses were The Miz and Dolph Zigler. Big E gave a good fight, but sadly he lost the match. Oh and Kane is now wearing a suit with a red tie.

AJ was in tag team action again on Smackdown. It was her and Tamina verses the Funkadactyls. AJ slipped on the Black Widow on Cameron and tap out. Victory to the Geek Goddess.

Cosmic Cosplay for the week of the 30th of July to the 5th of August

Sylon in "House Call"
Jsica in "Warrior"

Hi all and welcome to Cosmic Cosplay post. Cosmic Cosplay is a weekly post that (normally) happens on a Sunday were I talk about the new Cosplay Deviants sets, any Cosplay Deviants news I learn about, information about updates for CosmicBreak and three DreamClix ideas/designs.

First off are this week's Cosplay Deviants sets. On Wednesday there was a new set from the new deviant Sylon, called House Call. In it she cosplays as a generic female Ghost Buster from Ghost Busters. The set on Saturday was a set from the fantast and wonderful deviants Jsica. The set is called Warrior and in it she cosplays as a generic Gerudo Guard from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This was one of the first cosplays I have seen her do (outside Cosplay Deviants) and now it’s her second to last (to my knowledge) ever set on Cosplay Deviants. Her last set (I know of) will be a Final Fantasy one. Who from the games I do not know, may be a third Yuna set at a guess.

Zero Breaker "Awesome"
The ninja moe
Next is the CosmicBreak update news. First of the Unit 01 Garapon has been replaced by the Ice Cream Gara. The new Garat features summer versions of Ion, Aila and Lala Ricotte as well as new robots like Zero Breaker (who looks great). The final chibi in the Mini Chibi Collection Campaign has been added to the store. The final one is Mialy-chan. Finally there are two bits of future updates. Next week the Battle Vehicle will be added to the game. This vehicle will allow two players to work together in battle, with one player moving the vehicle while the other player rides on top as a dedicated gunner. There are plans to add other different types of Battle Vehicles to the game in the future. The second bit of future news is that there is a new moe character appearing on the website, a ninja girl that looks a bit like Ouka.

Now for the last section of the post, the DreamClix Section. This week I am doing ideas for King Megaton from CosmicBreak and a Cosplay card of Ayasha Kitsune. But first here are designs of The Player Character from Minecraft.

Next is King Megaton from CosmicBreak. A large robot from a large planet with heavy gravity. Has great strength, and is able to wield a variety of weapons. He should have a trait called “Too Heavy”, Super Strength, Impervious, Invulnerability and Toughness.
Too Heavy: King Megaton cannot be carried.
It should have about eight clicks of health and starting combat values of Speed 6, Attack 10, Defence 16, Damage 4 and Range 8 with one target. It should have the ART team ability and the keywords Robot, Unions and Brute. The next CosmicBreak idea should be Beezle A or the new ninja moe.

Lastly is the Cosplay card of the Deviant AyashaKitsune. She is a retired Deviant that has only done three sets on the Cosplay Deviants, two of them being Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist, and sadly does not have a profile. She should gain the Cosplay keywords and she should gain the Cosplay Deviants team ability. Her special should be: This character gains Probability Control, but can only use in on attacks against them. Her half price list should be: Lust and Utau Hoshina.

Well that is it for this post. Until next time, Mecha Up.

Cosmic Cosplay for the week of the 9th to the 15th of July

Nerdee in "Runaway"
Vivka in "Free Runner
Hi all and welcome to Cosmic Cosplay post. Cosmic Cosplay is a weekly post that (normally) happens on a Sunday were I talk about the new Cosplay Deviants sets, any Cosplay Deviants news I learn about, information about updates for CosmicBreak, Minecraft news when there is any and three DreamClix ideas/designs. OK, OK, I am posting this again on a Monday then a Sunday this week. I was busy on Sunday with role-play.

First off are this week's Cosplay Deviants sets. There was a new set on Wednesday from the new deviant Nerdee. The set is called Runaway and in it she cosplays as Sweet Pea from Sucker Punch. The set on Saturday was a set from the deviant Vivka. This new set is called Free Runner and in it she cosplays as Faith from Mirror's Edge.

Next is the CosmicBreak update news. First of HD versions of the Cosmic Girls have been added to the Summer Gara. I do not like the Mecha Jetter Girl one at all. Also there are some new Rt weapons added to the store.

Now for the last section of the post, the DreamClix Section. This week I am doing ideas for Yuiko Hawatari from Loveless and as she has three sets now, a Cosplay card for Vivka. But first here is a design of Blocky from CosmicBreak.

Next is Yuiko Hawatari from Loveless. Yuiko Hawatari is Ritsuka Aoyagi's classmate. At 167 cm tall, Yuiko is much taller than Ritsuka and her other classmates and because of this and her unusually large breasts, she is often mistaken for being older than she actually is. Despite her ditsy and bubbly exterior, she is sharp and goodhearted, though Ritsuka initially thought her annoying. Ritsuka also stated that he does not like people that are being used by others, which happens to Yuiko in the first episode. On Ritsuka’s first day of school, Yuiko is immediately overcome with awe and is fascinated by him. At the prodding of her mean spirited classmates, she befriends him, though he is very reluctant to accept her because he thinks she is weird and unintelligent. As Ritsuka overcomes his initial impressions and realizes she’s quite smart, they become good friends much to the irritation of another classmate, Yayoi. Yuiko had recently rejected him, claiming she would only date boys taller than her, and he is jealous of the effect Ritsuka has on Yuiko. Much to Yuiko’s dismay, however, Ritsuka insists their relationship is platonic and it, indeed, remains that way. Still, Yuiko confesses her one-sided love and devotion to Ritsuka on two separate occasions to their teacher, Hitomi Shinonome. Although it is one sided, Ritsuka still cares for Yuiko, standing up for her when in volume two of the manga and in episode 4 of the anime, Yuiko is bullied by her ‘friends’ after bringing some homemade strawberry jam to school for Ritsuka, which is then smashed in front of her by the classmates who Ritsuka fittingly says are using her. However, a notable scene in volume 4 shows Ritsuka abandoning Yuiko adruptly to go to Soubi’s aid, and Yuiko sadly recalls her efforts to be good friends without achieving any results. Yuiko has a fear of heights, indicated in episode 11 of the anime whilst on a ferris wheel with Ritsuka. As the series progresses, an unusual yet harmonious friendship is struck between Yuiko and Soubi, and although it seems their personalities would clash, they have a unique understanding of each other. She should have a special called “Stand up For Others” and Perplex.
Stand Up for Others: Yuiko Hawatari can use Defend. Character within six squares of Yuiko Hawatari gains a +2 to their Defence value against Incapacitie and Mind Control.
She should have about four clicks of health and starting combat values of Speed 9, Attack 9, Defence 17, Damage 1 and Range 0. She should not have a team ability and her keyword should be Civilian. The next Other section idea should be Hikari Konohana from Strawberry Panic!.

Next is a Cosplay card for the Deviant Vivka. From her profile “Vivka is much shorter than she appears. Timid at first, she may bite if threatened. -----------=-=-=-=---
