Labels A to Z, Part 15 MS Wars only

Abilities/Skills - MSW - A skill is the learned capacity to carry out pre-determined results often with the minimum outlay of time, energy, or both. Skills can often be divided into domain-general and domain-specific skills. For example, in the domain of work, some general skills would include time management, teamwork and leadership, self motivation and others, whereas domain-specific skills would be useful only for a certain job. Skill usually requires certain environmental stimuli and situations to assess the level of skill being shown and used. People need a broad range of skills in order to contribute to a modern economy and take their place in the technological society of the 21st century. An ASTD study showed that through technology, the workplace is changing, and so are the skills that employees must have to be able to change with it.

Carrier - MSW - Vehicles that are able to transport Infantry, Vehicles and Mecha.

Infantry - MSW - Infantrymen are soldiers who are specifically trained for the role of fighting on foot to engage the enemy face to face and have historically borne the brunt of the casualties of combat in wars. As the oldest branch of combat arms, they are the backbone of armies. Infantry units have more physically demanding training than other branches of armies, and place a greater emphasis on discipline, fitness, physical strength and aggression. Infantrymen are distinguished from soldiers trained to fight on horseback (cavalry), in tanks, or in technical roles such as armourers or signallers, but basic infantry skills are fundamental to the training of any soldier, and soldiers of any branch of an army are expected to serve as auxiliary infantry (e.g., patrolling and security) when necessary. Infantry can access and maneuver in terrain inaccessible to vehicles and tanks, and employ infantry support weapons that can provide firepower in the absence of artillery. Since the end of the Second World War the infantry has become a smaller part of armies of the Western world, constituting typically between 10% and 30% of an army's personnel. Despite still often representing the largest individual arm, with the exception of logistics, this is vastly reduced from pre-war levels. For instance, in the United States Army of 2009 there were only approximately 49,000 infantrymen out of about 450,000 active duty enlisted personnel. This reflects the greatly increased requirement for technical and logistical specialists in Western armies, resulting from the increasing complexity of military technology and equipment and an increased recognition of the importance of logistics in warfare. In armies of developing world nations, infantry still accounts for a majority of soldiers, but they are often lacking adequate training in infantry tactics and resources to be as effective as other infantry.

Jeeps - MSW - Jeep is an automobile marque of Chrysler. It is the oldest off-road vehicle (also sport utility vehicle – SUV) brand. It inspired a number of other military Light Utility Vehicles, such as the Land Rover which is the second oldest 4-wheel-drive brand. The original Jeep vehicle that first appeared as the prototype Bantam BRC became the primary light 4-wheel-drive vehicle of the United States Army and Allies during World War II, as well as the postwar period. Many Jeep variants serving similar military and civilian roles have since been created in other nations.

Mecha - MSW - Mecha (genre), also known as mechs (plural), or mech (singular), is a broad genre of vehicles (normally walking vehicles) which are usually controlled by a pilot. Mechs often appear in anime, science fiction, and other genres involving fantastic or futuristic elements. Mechs are generally, though not necessarily, bipedal, with arms, hands, and usually fingers capable of grasping objects. A mech that approximates the shape of a human body may allow the use of martial arts movements and swordsmanship, ceremonial acts of honor, saluting, and other human mannerisms that cannot be performed using a tank or airplane. In most fiction in which they appear, mecha are war machines: essentially armored fighting vehicles with legs instead of treads or wheels. Some stories, such as the manga Patlabor and American wargame BattleTech, also encompass mechs used for civilian purposes such as heavy construction work, police functions or firefighting. Some science fiction universes posit that mecha are the primary means of combat, with conflicts sometimes being decided through gladiatorial matches. Others represent mecha as one component of an integrated military force, supported by and fighting alongside tanks, fighter aircraft, and infantry, functioning as a mechanical cavalry. The applications often highlight the theoretical usefulness of such a device, combining a tank's resilience and fire power with infantry's ability to cross unstable terrain. In other cases they are demonstrated with a greater versatility in armament, such as in the Armored Core series of video games where mecha can utilize their hands to carry a wide range of armament in the same manner as a person albeit on a much larger scale. The distinction between true mechs and their smaller cousins (and likely progenitors), the powered armor, or exoskeletal battlesuits, is blurred; according to one definition, a mech is piloted while powered armor is worn. Anything large enough to have a cockpit where the pilot is seated is generally considered a mech. Rarely, mechs have been used in a fantasy convention, most notably in the anime series Aura Battler Dunbine, The Vision of Escaflowne, Panzer World Galient and Maze. In those cases, the mech designs are usually based on some alternative or 'lost' science-fiction technology from ancient times.

Next time I should be covering Mecha d20/Anime d20, Neccromunda, Small Mecha, Tank and Updates. Until next time, have fun.

Heroclix 27th of January, Giant Size X-Men Special

Welcome to another Heroclix post. Sadly Heroclix was cancelled at the very last moment so it’s a news and Dreamclix special this week.

During the weekend a poster of all the figures from the standard boosters of Giant Size X-Men was leaked on to HCRealms. For once a set is truly mainly based on the theme then just less than 50% of the set. The only non X-Men stuff are Next Wave, even Hulk has an X-Men Theme. However Justin Ziran from Wizkids has stated that  the poster is out of date, the duo figures that were first plan as Super Booster figures will now be in the standard boosters and the poster was done be for the change of plan. He also stated that were will be of large figure to the Super Boosters and as the number of six large figures was conformed, there should be six different Super Boosters instead of eight that was first rumoured. Sources revile that five of the large figures will be Apocalypse (seen), Nemesis, Onslaught and two different Sentinels (now seen both), but the sixth one has not been reviled.

Row 1 – Madrox (Dial Shown), Purifier, Omega Prime Sentinel (Dial Shown), Hellfire Club Guard, Mindless One, Skullbuster, Pretty Boy and Cyclops (Dial was leaked, me want).

Row 2 – Wolverine (Please be an Avengers one), Beast (Why another one), Emma Frost (Dial was leaked), Cypher, Empath, Roulette, Tabitha Smith and Aaron Stack.

Row 3 (Not of Picture sadly) – Domino (Hope she is as good or better than the old ones), Caliban, William Stryker (at long last), Harry Leland (interesting), Tarot, Cannonball, Psylocke (hope she is a good piece) and Gideon

Row 4 – Elixir (there is no picture of him at all but he is listed by the poster owner to be the missing character there), Leech (interesting), Diryn, Elsa Bloodstone, Monica Rambeau, Rogue (finally a Rogue that should be Rogue, all the old versions of her were all before special powers and never felt right), Angel (Finally a Fist Class Angel for the first class team) and Ch'od.

Row 5 – Blob (Not on this picture, at long last a remake), Pyro (At long last a remake), Mystique (At long last a remake), Professor X (Why do we need another remake, oh hang on it is hover chair version), Gatecrasher, Iceman, Lockheed (Sweet, but where is Shadowcat) and Sabretooth (At long last a remake).

Row 6 – Stryfe, Predator X, Trevor Fitzroy, Bonebreaker, Vulcan (The third Summers brother makes an appearance), Juggernaut, Phoenix (How many points will it be, may be built in Lazarus Pit) and Storm

Row 7 – Archangel (Horseman of Death), Armor, Hulk (Horseman of War), Wolverine (Horseman of Death), Magneto (Dial Shown) and The Captain.

If you include the Fast Ball Special duo figure that was reviled when they announced the set, there are three Wolverines in the set. A little over the top. Ok figures I would of loved to have seen in the set that are not in it are: a new adult Shadowcat as there was a Lockheed, other Academy X: New X-Men characters like Surge (we only got Elixir and that might only be because he is in X-Force now), Master Mould however there is still one unclaimed spot in the Super Boosters, Avalanche as he was crap and was released be for the Quake ability was added and Toad. Figures from the set I am must have are: A ton of Omega Prime Sentinel, Cyclops, Wolverine if he has the Avengers keyword and is good, Domino if she is as good, William Stryker, Psylocke if she is a good, Elixir, Leech, Rogue, Angel, Blob, Pyro, Mystique, Lockheed, Sabretooth, (At long last a remake), Vulcan to complete my Summers family and Magneto (Dial Shown) and The Captain. I am planning on buying a brick and maybe a second Super Booster if I can when it comes out.
On other Heroclix news, Wizkids have done a preview of the new beast figure. I do not like the sculpt, but the dial is great for an attack piece.

This week's Dreamclix I am doing for ShounenClix, Jango from One Piece, Watari from Death Note, Launch from Dragon Ball and dials for Sakura Haruno from Naruto. For MAClix I am doing dials for Nanami Ota and Ichiro Masuda. And lastly for MechaClix, I am doing a Tachikoma, a special LE Tachikoma, Major Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and some Wonder Bit feat card that I forgot to add last week.

First off we have Jango from One Piece. Jango was Captain Kuro first mate and lead his pirate crew, the Black Cat Pirate, while Kuro was away. He later joined the Marines under the command of Captain Hina as a seaman recruit and is now good friends with Fullbody. He should have two specials called “Hypnotist” and “Team Mates”, Blades, and Perplex.
Hypnotist: Jango can use Mind Control and Incapacitate. Give Jango a power action, he can use Perplex on all friendly characters including himself. All characters that were Perplex with this special ability gains Battle Fury while the Perplex is on them.
Team Mates: Jango gains a +1 to his attack value if a friendly Captain Kuro or Fullbody is within 8 squares of him and is in line of sight.
He should have about five clicks of health a starting states of Movement 6, Attack 9, Defence 17, Damage 1, Range 6 with 3 targets. He should have the One Piece TA and keywords Pirate, Marine and Black Cat Pirates. Black Cat Pirates is a Non-Generic keyword, I forgot to and this keyword to last week’s list.

Next is Watari from Death Note. Watari is L's handler, as well as the supplier of logistics to the Kira Investigation. Before the team is formed, he is the only person who has seen L, and the only one capable of contacting L directly. Like L, he represents himself with an Old English "W" on computer screens. He is also a fatherly figure to L. He is a famous inventor and founder of Wammy's House, an orphanage for gifted children in Winchester, England. Watari is well trained in espionage and marksmanship.  So let us see, he should have Perplex, Support and two specials "Sniper" and "Fouls Identity".
Sniper: Watari can use Range Combat Expert, if he does he gains +2 his Attack value.
Fouls Identity: Once during you opponents turn, if Watari has one or less tokens on his, you may place a token on him to give a friendly adjacent character the ability to use Shape Change. If the friendly character is called L, they gain a +2 to their defence value too.
He should have four clicks of health and starting states of Movement 6, Attack 8, Defence 15, Damage 1 and Range 8 with one target. His should have on TA and the keywords Detective and Kira Task Force.

Next is Launch from Dragon Ball. Yes I did say I do a generic Wolf last week, but relooking at my manga novels I learnt that they must have been Anime only as guards for Emperor Pilaf so I changed to Launch. Launch is a girl with a strange disorder which changes between two personalities every time she sneezes. Her first personality is a sweet blue haired woman, but her other personality is an angry, trigger-happy, machine gun wielding blonde woman, who commits crimes for fun and is quick to respond with gunfire when angered. Neither of Launch’s personalities remembers what the other says or does. The basic idea I have for her is from her blue hair nice self to her blonde hair bad self and back again as you click her down. She should have on her blue hair clicks Enhancement or Support and on her blonde hair clicks Range Combat Expert and Tounghness. She should have six clicks of health, three blue hair, three blonde hair. For her states, in blue hair form she should have Movement 6, Attack 7, Defence 15 and Damage 1 and in her blonde hair form she should have Movement 6, Attack 9, Defence 16 and Damage 2. Both with Range 6 and one target. Launch should have the Dragon Ball TA and have the keyword Turtle Shell School.

Next is Orihime Inoue from Bleach. Orihime Inoue is a Human living in Karakura Town. She is a student at the Karakura High School, where she is in the same class as Ichigo Kurosaki and her best friend, Tatsuki Arisawa. Orihime lives by herself and is supported by her relatives living elsewhere. Previously, she lived with her older brother, Sora, who was fifteen years older than her. She and her brother were raised by a drunk father and a prostitute mother, who always argued and beat their children. It is unknown if her parents are still alive.
When Sora turned eighteen, he ran away with Orihime, who was three years old, and raised her from then on. For six years, Orihime and Sora lived in harmony despite the fact that Orihime was bullied in school because of her unusual hair colour. One day, Sora gave Orihime a pair of hairpins. However, Orihime refused to wear them because she said they were childish. On the same day, Sora was wounded in a car accident and died in the Kurosaki clinic. Orihime has worn the hairpins ever since. A year after Sora died, Orihime met Tatsuki, who defended her from the bullies. They became best friends. She should have Support (Sōten Kisshun) and two specials “Koten Zanshun” and “Santen Kesshun”.
Koten Zanshun: Orihime can use Range Combat Expert. If she does all damage is penetrating.
Santen Kesshun: Give Orihime a power action, Orihime and adjacent friendly characters can use energy Shield Deflection and Toughness.
She should have four clicks of health and starting stats of Movement 6, Attack 10, Defence 17, Damage 0 and Range 6 with one target. She should have the Bleach TA and the keywords Karakura Town and Teen.

Next is Rock Lee from Naruto. During his time as a student in the Ninja Academy, Lee proved to have no talent for ninjutsu and genjutsu. He was mocked by his peers because of this. Lee persevered, focusing on taijutsu. When Lee eventually graduated he was added to Team Guy. During the team's first meeting he vowed to become a splendid ninja that specialized in taijutsu. Neji Hyūga laughed at him, but their sensei, Might Guy, took a special interest in Lee. He encouraged Lee to keep at it and, in time, began teaching him powerful forms of taijutsu. He should have Charge, Force Blast, a special called “Lotus”, Close Combat Reflexes and Close Combat Expert. His ability to open his Inner Gates should be shown as his states increasing as he goes down the dial.
Lotus: Lee can use Incapacitate, but his damage is not reduced to 0.
He should have about six to seven clicks of health and starting stats of Movement 8, Attack 9, Defence 16, Damage 2 and Range 0. He should have the Naruto TA and the keywords Team Guy, Kid and Konohagakure.

Next is Captain Kuro from One Piece. Captain Kuro, also known as Klahadore, is one of the early antagonists in the series. He is the captain of the Black Cat Pirates and the former butler of Kaya, a friend to Usopp. He is also known as Kuro of the Thousand Plans for his elaborate plans that virtually never fail. However, this proved to have a huge setback; as time passed, he grew tired of setting up schemes for his crewmates and of constantly being hunted down by the Marines. That was when he decided to have an impostor, one of his pirates named Nugire Yainu to take his place as Captain Kuro, and be executed in his stead by Captain Morgan so that the hunt for him would be ceased. Kuro should have Hypersonic, Blades, Willpower and Probability Control. He should have about six clicks of health and starting stats of Movement 10, Attack 10, Defence 15, Damage 2 and Range 0. He should have the One Piece TA and the keywords Pirate and Black Cat Pirates.

Next we have the dials designs for Sakura Haruno from Naruto, Ryuk and Nanami Ota and Ichiro Masuda from the Iron Man anime. I decided to not do Nanami on her scooter any more and to give Ryuk Power Cosmic.

Next is a generic Tachikoma from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Nine of them are assigned to Section 9's use originally. They are best described as a "spider type multi leg combat vehicle equipped with artificial intelligence". They should be a double baser with the Transporter ability, Leap Climb, Running Shot, Smoke Cloud, a special called “Armoured Transport” and Toughness.
Armour Transport: Tachikoma can use Defend and Invulnerability.
They should have about five clicks of health and starting states of Movement 12, Attack 10, Defence 18, Damage 2 and Range 8 with one target. They should have the Section 9 TA and the keywords Robot, Vehicle and Section 9. I have decided to change the Section 9 TA to be the same as the Batman Ally TA instead of the S.H.I.E.L.D.

Next is a LE version of the Tachikomas, Tachiko-Man. A "Spiderman" version of a Tachikoma seen in episode 24 of Tachikoma Days. It should be a double baser with a trait called “Anything a Tackikoma can”, the Transporter ability, Running Shot, Incapacitate, a special called “Armoured Transport” and Toughness.
Anything a Tackikoma can: Tachiko-Man can use Leap Climb and Super Senses.
Armour Transport: Tachiko-Man can use Defend and Invulnerability.
It should have about five clicks of health and starting states of Movement 12, Attack 10, Defence 19, Damage 2 and Range 6 with one target. It should have the Spider-Man Allies TA and the keywords Robot and Vehicle.

Sorry, I saw this picture and knew I have to
use it
Finally we have miss bad ass herself, Major Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell. I will be doing the Stand Alone Complex series version. Motoko is a full-body cyborg working as a member of Public Security Section 9, an intelligence department under the Japanese Ministry of Home Affairs. Frequently called "Major", a reference to her military rank in the JGSDF before joining Section 9, she is in charge as squad leader when field operations are carried out by the group. Motoko is highly skilled in a number of areas, including close quarters combat, use of lethal weaponry, and hacking. Her skills are augmented by the fact that she was cyberised at a very young age following a plane crash, forcing her to become adept at controlling her cyborg body and the greater abilities it confers. How do I do her in Heroclix form. Here is a bash. She should have Running Shot, may be Smoke Cloud at the end of the dial, mid dial Super Strength, Incapacitate, a special called "Full Cyborg Reflexes", Willpower, a trait called "Cyber Hack", Outwit and Probability Control.
Full Cyborg Reflexes: The Major can use Close Combat Reflexes and Energy Shield Deflection.
Cyber Hack: The Major ignores hindering terrain for line of fire and movement. She can use Perplex but only to reduce states, and is immune to Mind Control and abilities that act like Mind Control.
She should have five or six clicks of health and starting states of Movement 10, Attack 12, Defence 17, Damage 3 and Range 6 with one target. She should have the Section 9 TA and the keywords JSDF, Robot, Section 9 and Solder. I am dumping both the JDF and the JGSDF keywords for just one JSDF.

I am ending this post with something I was planning on doing a last week with the Cosmic Break characters I did and forget. I have decided to change them a little. Instead of being feats card, they are their own type. A figure can only be one Wonder Bit, but it can be given multiple times. They are one turn use which the effect ends at the start of you next turn, however you can use another copy to keep the effect around until the start of your next turn. The figure must meet the prerequisites to be equipped with them.
And now for the three:
Propeller Bit – Prerequisite: Keyword Air – The character gains a +2 to its movement value until the beginning of your next turn.
Missile Bit – Prerequisite: Ever the Artillery or Support keyword – After making a successful range attack you my make a second range attack using Energy Explosion at a -1 to their attack value as a free action. You must declare using the Feat before making the first attack.
Lance Bit – Prerequisite: Ever the Land or Support keyword – After making a successful melee attack you my make a second range attack, but you damage value becomes 1 for this attack and -1 to their attack value, as a free action. You must declare using the Feat before making the first attack.

Next week's Dreamclix for ShounenClix, I am planning on doing Guy Might from Naruto, Yasutora “Chad” Sado from Bleach, maybe Brick figure Goku adult version from Dragon Ball Z and a dial design for Axe-Hand Morgan from One Piece. For MAClix I am doing dials for Grellar Solder and the anime version of the Mark 1 Iron Man armour. And lastly for MechaClix, I am planning on doing Winberrl, Zero Saber and maybe Cannon Ball from Cosmic Break and three wonder bit to go with them too. Well until next time, have fun.

CosmicBreak News Update, the 27th of January

Well this week's maintenance is complete and we have new content added to the game which I was shocked about. It is normally every other week for this kind of thing. First off a new gold ball has been added to the added to UC Garapon which contains 1 free Root. I am not a fan of this as it in do dam hard to get a blood gold ball and you need a minimum of 10 Roots to get anything at the moment and 20 Roots after the sales end in a week’s time. Next two new robots have been added to the Shop. Butterflea A at 100 Rt 50 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd) and Jack Gadget at 90 Rt 45 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd). Also special 3 slot versions of six of the UC robots are now available for low Rt prices. These is Destructor at 20 Rt 10 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd), Snailbot at 20 Rt 10 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd), Katana Max at 24 Rt 12 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd), Ettion at 30 Rt 15 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd), Centaur X at 40 Rt 20 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd) and Cosmo Kaiser at 50 Rt 25 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd). Also a bunch of new Root weapons have been added to the Shop, but they are all 1 slot. There are three Main Weapons which are Magnet Gun at 16 Rt 8 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd), Double Beam Gun at 24 Rt 12 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd) and Flint Musket at 28 Rt 14 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd). And three Sub Weapons, Protean Knife at 16 Rt 8 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd), Twister Fan at 20 Rt 10 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd) and Cross Spear at 32 Rt 16 Rt (50% OFF until the end of February 2nd). Finally 2 channels have been removed and Quest Mode has been disabled in Channel 1. This is an attempt to spread players out between channels, as opposed to having everyone cluster in Channel 1. If players are more evenly distributed between Channels, there will be less lag for everyone. Lastly they have reviled that the Lily Rain Eve event will be starting next week, hippy. There is now a translated version of the Eihwaz manga and promo video to help promote the Lily Rain EVE event. I want a Lily Rain EVE. Below is the promo video. Until next time enjoy.

Neoscream's Life, the 17th to the 23rd of January

Well the third full week of 2011 is now over and done with and it is time to write it up. Last week had a weak of work and a lot of window shopping, but what does is week's post have hold for me. As I was posting this week's post I realised I am out of Starscream's to post at the top of the Neoscream's Life posts. So I post this intersting Starscream picture and from next week I will be moving on to plan B (not B for Blaire), The Many Armours of IRON MAN.

On Monday morning I finally posted the MS Wars Update post and started work on the next Labels A to Z post. I worked from 12PM to 3:30PM. When I got home and logged on to Cosmic Break, I found that my Union won the Union Wars again and the prize was an UC+30% Ticket Beta. I finally finished of the Pockets story line too. I finish off writing the Neoscream’s Life post, but I decided to leave posting it to tomorrow when I normally post it. I text Darren H, Richard and Jake with the details of when Green Hornet was being shown. Sadly for Jake there was no 2D viewing of the film. I received a reply from Darren H saying he can make it and a reply from Jake saying he cannot make it but I had no reply from Richard.

On Tuesday morning I got around to post last weeks Neoscream's Life post. As I had some free time and had a look at the Gadget Show website to update my veiwing system. I notice BlackBerry had some thing new and I had a look at it. It was a new tablet that they are releasing later on in the year called the Playbook. It looks really good and challange to Apple's iPad. With two built in HD camras (one 5GP, one 3GP), HDI out port, micro UBS port, blue tooth and that is just the hardwear. It is fully Flash intergrated too, so you can run Flash stuff on it with out problems. I really want one. I worked from 12PM to 5PM and durring my lunch brake finished inking the line drawing of Needle Mog Girl I am doing for the Cosmic Break Fanart contest. Speecking about Cosmic Break, I managed to get to the third outpost in Quests. The deepest I have so far gotten to in Quests. When I cheecked HCRealms for any new Giant Size X-Men dials and found some shocking news. For those who skip past the Heroclix post, Wizkids have adnacsed that the will be releasing a new Heroclix line, Lord of the Rings: Heroclix. This is a major shock to the fandom, some love the idea and some hate it. I think it could be a good idea depending on how they to the figures. Lastly when I asked Richard again for a reply about seeing Green Hornet tomorrow he said no as Jake can not make it. I cheecked if Darren H still wanted to go as Jake and Richard was not and he said best not, wait until it is out on 2D. So no movie this week.

Blaire's New Main Profile Picture
On Wensday I worked from 12PM to 5PM with no lunch break as the manager was too ill to help cover breaks. Then I got home I found Blaire has a new profile up. Sadly some of the pictures were not working. Basic the new profile lays out some genaral rules in her chat room, information about buying custom lingerie from her and information about future plans. Also went onto Cosmic Break and did the Scarlet Moon Story Mission. In it you control Ouka instead of your own robot, on her path of revange.

On Thursday morning Blaire came online at about 7:45AM. She had just came back from what she called a wavehouse (does she mean housewave), where she was allow to DJ. As she come on some random member try to get her to do a maths problem, 2x5+10-11^2+101=?. I quickly solved it for her as I know it was late for her to think. The answer was 0. I told for there was a problem with some of the picture on her profile. She already know about it, but she did not know how to fix it. I tried to help, but I do not know if it helped at all. She was only on for 30 minutes most of that time she was in a Group Show. Later in the day Simon phoned me. He had a idea for an on-line project and was asking me about web coding. Sadly I am no expert at it, but I told him what I know and pointed him to a couple of people who might be able to help.
Blaire on Thursday
As my mum was off and today is my parents wedding anniversary, she wait to pop into the super market to get some bits, before droping me off at work. I worked from 11AM to 3:15PM. When I got home I received a text from Darren S making sure that I was still up for Heroclix tonight and to warn me that we would have an old player returning to our ranks. Who he did not revile. I let him know that I am still coming and checked the web. I found that there was some major charges done to Cosmic Break during its weekly maintenance and a new campaign has started. I started writing a blog post about the update, but did not have time to finish it or post it before getting ready for Heroclix. At Heroclix I found that the returning was Adam. He was mainly one of Phil's players, but he was a known face to our group. He said another old player, Luck, might be interested in coming back. When I got back home I when on to Cosmic Break and did about three arena matches before going to bed.

Starscream Fangirl "Crimrose"
On Friday morning I posted the Cosmic Break Update post on the main blog and a MS Wars blog post that was a day later than planned. I worked from 12PM to about 2PM as we had a lot of staff in. When I got home I spent over three hours just posting the clix post. Manly due to slow internet and cats throwing up. I chatted to Richard about coffee and role-play. He has his mums car again this weekend as his is not repaired let. Due to a busy morning on Saturday and picking up, Jake he did not know when he would be at coffee. Also as the other player, Peter can not make it on Saturday and role-play will be on Sunday. I also was contacted by a good work mate, Marisa, has finally had her baby, just over a week later than what the doctors said she would be. It was a baby boy, which should make he father happy, Atif. Before going to bed again I had four matches in the arena on Cosmic Break. Still no awards sadly. This bringing the total to seven arena matchs, only 93 more matches to go.

Blaire on Saturday
At about 3AM Saturday morning, Blaire come on MFC. The live video was very loggy due to my slow internet speed. She had just washed her doggy, Buddie. She stayed on line until around 5:30AM when she left almost stairt away after having about half an hour group show. I was hoping to chat about something to her in PMs after the show, but she left stairt away. I headed back to bed afterwards. Oh And forgetting to that her New profile is finally fixed. I woke up at about 8AM and played a little Cosmic Break before heading to coffee. I manage to get two more arena matches under my belt, which one of them I won the Best Support award, this was the second time I ever won it. I got to coffee for 10AM. Darren H turned up until 10:40AM as he had problems parkinhg due to no more free packing. We chatted about random things like the BlackBerry Playbook, Simon's project and the changes of packing in cental MK. Richard and Jake finally turned up at 11:30AM, just as I had to leave from work. So it was a evey brife, hi and bye. I worked from 12PM to 3:45PM. When I got home, I watched a Gundam movie and stacked up seven more arena matches and won the Best Jammer award for one of them. I would have done more arena matches before going to bed if my internet was not acting so laggy. So for that is a total of sixteen arena matched done. Oh and while checking the internet I found that a poster of all the figures from the standard boosters of the next Heroclix set, Giant Size X-Men, was on HCRealms. I will try to remember to talk about it in the next Heroclix post.

Amago, Standard Type
Sunday was my day off work. While waiting for Richard to phone to say that he was on his way, I did so work on making races and class from the MS War role-play idea I had. Then at about 12:30PM, half an hour after we were ment to start I got a message from Richard saying that role-pkay is canceled for this week as Nathaen was not up to running a game due to personal problems. However Richard did come over to help fix the quality problems with using the new TV as a computer monitor and helped with some changes to the MS Wars database. The TV is a little better now, but still not fantastic. With the MS Wars database, he helped program a DC Tally using VB instead of tons of if statments. I also durring the day had seven more arena matches in Cosmic Break, but still no awards.

Well that is another week over and done with. Here is a list of up and coming blog post and the planned (not set) dates for them:

Heroclix 20th of January, Crisis on Infinite Earths: Week Nine

Karma

Welcome to another Heroclix post. This week is Week Nine of the Campaign and is the final week of the Replacements part. We have an old player returning this week, Adam, and he has rejoined us after over two years. As he is getting back into playing than just for one week, so he is entering the campaign. As it was last moment this week has no major changes, but next week there will be some changes with the extra player. The only change this week is that one player will have a bye each round. This week builds were, Round Twenty-Five is a 200 points game, Round Twenty-Six is a 300 points game and finally Round Twenty-Seven is a 200 points game.

So Round Twenty-Five, 200 points. In the 200 points games Metron has been rules the matches. However Darren realised that that if you Mind Control him, as he is the only character your opponent controls, the game will end with you winning. I went for an X-Men themed as they had all the good mind controllers and it does help with makinhg X-Men teams too. However with all the new recruits from this team I have hit the 2,000 points build pool max so I can not recruit any new characters.

Karma (Vet Fantastic Forces) 59
Jean Grey (Rook Universe) 31
Cuckoo (Mutations and Monsters) 40
Professor Xavier (Exp Universe) 67
=197 points and two re-rolls.

I sadly went up against Darren’s 200 points team. He was using a Gothan themed team with:

Gotham City Detective (Arkham Asylum) 27
Gotham City Detective (Arkham Asylum) 27
Man-Bat (Icons) 38
Deadshot (75th) 89
Street Thug (Arkham Asylum) 19
=200 points and two re-rolls.

Man-Bat
He creamed me. I know this would happen, a team designed to fight Metron would be crap ageist any other team. At least I stopped him from getting his token.

Next was Round Twenty-Six, 300 points. At first I was planning on using my X-Men team but as Jean Grey is being used in the first team and I can not recruit any more characters I when for an Avengers team. I ended up using:

Hawkeye (Avengers) + Thunderbolts ATA 64
Yellowjacket (Secret Invasion) 100
Quicksilver (Exp Armour Wars) 62
Iron Fist (Secret Invasion) 710
=296 points and two re-rolls.

I was up against Adam’s 300 points team. He was using a non themed team, who was:

Benjamin J. Grimm (Secret Invasion) 100
Scarlet Witch (Exp Fantastic Forces) 49
Question (Rook Origin) 40
Tomar Re (Green Lantern Corps) 111
=200 points and no re-rolls.

I lost again sadly, Benjamin’s 18 defence was a pain to get passed and his 4 damage just kept on knocking my characters out. At least Quicksilver took out two of his characters and claimed the token for me.

The last round of the week, Round Twenty-Seven, which was another 200 points game. This team was hard to do, I had lost Batman beyond the last campaign week, most of the team from the last round of that week are not back in action yet and I can not recruit any more characters. So is was a non themed throw togather team.

Karate Kid
Alex Summers (LE Mutant Mayhem) 35
Dream Girl (Justice League) 50
Karate Kid (Crisis) 63
Rageman (Exp Collateral Damage) 47
=195 points and none re-roll.

I went up against no one as I get the Bye due to an odd number of players now, which is classed as a win.

Well that was another great week in the campaign for me, not. From what I remember Adam is at last place with two wins (as he only had three game), Michael is at fourth place with five wins, Adrian is at third place with fourteen wins, I am at second place with sixteen wins and Darren is winning the campaign with twenty wins. However things can change over the next three weeks, but sadly Adam and Michael have no chance of gaining the number one spot. At the end randomly regained characters that were MIAed during the nine weeks of the campaign. Adam got a character back, Adrian and Michael got a bounch back who or how many I can not remember, Darren got seven of his 11 MIAed characters back six. Next week will be the first week of the Final part of the campaign, Save Our Univers. All the members of the teams must be from the same Universe, well Marvel, DC and Indy, and most be good guys or bad guys. Any figure OKed are now MIAed on a roll of 1 to 5 and no limits to the build pool now. Also no more 200 point games. With the extra player too, there will be five rounds a week instead of just one and each play will get a bye unless we get a sixth player. Round twenty-eight will be 300 points, round twenty-nine will be 500 points, round thirty will be 400 points, round thirty-one will be 400 points and round thirty-two will be 500 points. So expect a bigger post next week.

In the news, Wizkids have revild that they will be doing Lord of the Rings Heroclix. Yes this is real and will be 100% compatable to the stated Heroclix. There will be a campaign style box set that will include NEW epic level rules and all you need to run a game. The booster set and a board game, so basic a start set with what might be rules for running a Heroclix campaign. It is unclear if the board game figures will be usable in the standard Heroclix game. This has shocked the fandom, some love it, some hate it. It seems a nice idea, but until I see the figures and cards, I want to jugde it yet. But I would love to do a magical trio, Doctor Strange, Doctor Fate and Gandalf the White. I will get at least the Campaign pack to see if the new epic level rules are how to run a Heroclix campaign. Still no news on when the Iron Madian or the Street Fighter Heroclix will be out.
On other Wizkids news, this week previews from Giant Size X-Men was Madrox also known as Multiple Man and Omega Prime Sentinel. Madrox looks nice and can work with the old version from Sinister. Oh and he has the S.H.I.E.L.D. keyword too, a new grunt for Ultimates Nick Fury to boss about. And the Omega Prime Sentinel will be a great new minion to my Sentinel army or even a Robot keyword team.

This week’s DreamClix for ShounenClix, I am doing an Elite Pirate LE from One Piece, Uryu Ishida for Bleach, per-Bunkai Renji Abarai from Bleach and dials for generic Pirates from One Piece. For MAClix I am doing a minor change to the Body Guard generic from late week, Tesshin Asano from the Wolverine anime, dials the next two Zodiac Warriors from the Iron Man anime. And lastly for MechaClix, I am doing Crimerose, Lily Rain and LazFlamme, all from Cosmic Break. But first I like to do a TA reminder for people and a list of new Keywords I have added. First of here is a list of TAs (no including the Christmas one) that I have done. If they are a TA based on an establish TA I will note list the TA then what it does.

Bleach – Same as X-Men.
Chaos – Same as Sinister Syndicate.
Dragon Ball – Same as Fantastic Four TA not ATA.
Naruto – Ignore terrain for movement a part from indoor walls and indoor blocking terrain.
One Piece – Same as Ultimate X-Men.
Section 9 - Same as SHIELD.
Unions – Same as CSA.

Next are the keywords which I will be listing as Generic or Non-Generic. Note that Marvel stuff apart from the Anime stuff has not been listed as well as the Christmas stuff.

Generic: Air, Artillery, Bounty Hunter, Devil Fruit, Land, Pirates, Soul Reaper, Support.

Non-Generie: Alvida Pirates, ANBU, Anti Kira Task Force, Arling's Crew, Buggy Pirates, Captain, Division 1 to 13 (one foer each number, foremrly Squads for Bleach), Dragon Ball Gang, Gatou, Hollow, JDF, JGSDF, Jinchurlki, Karakura Town, Kira, Kirigakure, Konohagakure, Lieutenant, Marine, Menso, Minions of Picallo, Mod-Soul, Orochimaru, Pilaf Gang, Quincy, Roger Pirates, Saiyan, Section 9, Seven Ninja Swordsman of the Mist, Straw Hat Crew, Team Kakashi, Turtie Shell School, Uchiha Clan, Z Fighters, Zodiac.

You might have noiced that the Keyword Ninja is missing. This is because it has been dumped as almost all characters from Naruto are Ninjas making it too Generic.

First we have an Elite Pirate LE from One Piece. I should of done thias ages ago back when I did the Pirate generic. They are highly skilled pirate than the run of the mill henchmen. They should have Leap Climb, Blades, Toughness and a special called "Crew".
Crew: When you are revilling your force, you must pick a non-generic keyword a friend character with the pirate keyword. This figure gains that keyword for the rest of the game.
They should have about 5 clicks of life and starting states of Movement 8, Attack 9, Defence 17, Damage 2 and Range 4 with 1 target. They should have the One Piece TA with the keywords Pirate and Brut.

Next is Uryū Ishida for Bleach. Uryū is a Quincy residing in Karakura Town. He is a student at the Karakura High School, where he is a classmate and friend of Ichigo Kurosaki. As a child, Uryū mostly interacted and trained with his grandfather, Sōken Ishida. His father, Ryūken Ishida, was less than enthusiastic about being a Quincy, claiming that it was not a profitable occupation. They do not appear to be on very good terms as a result, given Uryū's casual use of his father's given name. Sōken understands Ryūken's reasoning, since being a Quincy is more about justice than material rewards and Ryūken has a family to support. Sōken told Uryū that he would someday understand his father's motives, but thus far this is not the case. At a fairly young age, Uryū's grandfather was killed by Hollows right in front of him while he was not able to do a thing to protect him. This is one of the reasons why he hates the Soul Reapers, who did not come to rescue Sōken in time. It is later revealed that the current captain of the 12th Division, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, was behind the delay so that Sōken's soul could be collected for study. He should have a trait called "Puppet Suit", Running Shot, Hyper Sonic, Sharpshoter, Willpower, a special called "Ransotengai", Perplex, Outwit and Range Combat Expert.
Puppet Suit: If Uryū has a Puppet Suit counter on his card, he gains a +1 to all combat values apart from defence which suffers a -1 instead. He also gains Toughness but can not use Regan.
Ransotengai: Uryū can use Regan, if he does place a Puppet Suit counter on his card.
He should have about 5 to 6 clicks of health and starting states of Movement 8, Attack 10, Defence 17, Damage 3 and Range 10 with three targets. He should have the Bleach TA and the keywords Teen, Quincy and Karakura Town.

Next is Renji Abarai from Bleach. Renji Abarai is the lieutenant of the 6th Division in the Gotei 13 under Captain Byakuya Kuchiki. He grew up in the 78th district of Rukongai, Inuzuri, with several other children. Having come to Soul Society alone, they helped each other to search for their families. One day, after stealing a jug of water, Renji and his friends were chased by a kama-wielding adult. Rukia tripped the adult and urged Renji's group to follow her to avoid losing the water. Rukia joined their group and they lived together as a family. They all hated Inuzuri and the people there. Renji was not happy that Rukia had spiritual power like he did. Ten years after Rukia joined the group, with all of their friends dead, Rukia proposed that they become Soul Reapers, which Renji agreed with. As they were quite gifted with spiritual powers, they entered the Shinō Academy with ease, where they struggled to prove their worth among those from noble families. Having scored amongst the highest grades in the entrance exam, Renji was admitted into the top class along with Izuru Kira and Momo Hinamori. Two months after entering the Academy, Renji had a field training to practice Konsō in the Human World for the first time. When being briefed on the field trip by Shūhei Hisagi, Kanisawa and Aoga, Renji failed to recognize Shūhei, who was to lead the mission. Izuru explained to him that Hisagi was famous and a gifted student. Renji, Izuru and Momo were assigned to the same group. As Shūhei called an end to their field trip, the group was attacked by a Huge Hollow, which killed Kanisawa and Aoga. Shūhei ordered the group to retreat while he stayed to fight the Hollow. When a second Huge Hollow appeared, Momo stopped and questioned why they were running away. Renji reminded Momo that the Hollow had just killed two sixth year students. When Momo rushed back towards Shūhei, Renji and Izuru followed her and helped to block the second Hollow’s attack on him. When more Huge Hollows showed up, they were saved by the arrival of Fifth Division Captain Sōsuke Aizen and his lieutenant, Gin Ichimaru. When Momo wondered if they would ever become as strong as Aizen and Ichimaru, Renji laughed at the notion and insisted that captains and lieutenants were monsters. Having passed an important exam, Renji rushed to find Rukia to tell her. However, when he found her, she was with several Soul Reapers, including Byakuya Kuchiki. As they left, Renji noted Byakuya’s power, causing him to wonder who he was. Renji asked what they wanted and congratulated Rukia when she told him that they want to have her adopted into the Kuchiki family, have her graduate immediately and assigned to the 13th Division. Rukia thanked him and left. Renji told himself that Rukia finally had a family and that he should stay out of it. After Rukia left, Renji trained every day in a bid to beat Byakuya, but he was unable to defeat him even once. Renji graduated from the Shinō Academy in its 2,066th year and joined the Gotei 13, where he initially served under Aizen in the 5th Division, along with Izuru and Momo. The rebellious Renji, however, was moved to the 11th Division and rose to the rank of 6th Seat. During his time in the 11th Division, he befriended Ikkaku Madarame, to whom he revealed that he wanted to become stronger than Byakuya Kuchiki. Ikkaku taught Renji how to fight and Renji became aware that Ikkaku had a Bankai, and requested that he use it to train Renji. Forty years after Rukia’s adoption into the Kuchiki family, Momo and Izuru presented Renji with a letter stating that he was to be promoted to lieutenant of the 6th Division. He formally accepted Momo's words, which caused her to tell him not to be so uptight. Ikkaku told him that he was now a step closer to Byakuya and that his will had been strong for forty years, but now that he was a lieutenant, they should return to the type of relationship that they once shared. Izuru informed Renji that Rukia was leaving on a mission to the Human World that afternoon. When Momo urged him to hurry, Renji told her that he would wait until his promotion was made official a month later, and that when she returned, he would surprise her with it. About three months late, Renji and Byakuya, Renji were sent to arrest Rukia and return her to Soul Society. This version of Renji will be he before gaining his bankai. He should have Leap Climb, Running Shot, Blades,a special called "Howl Zabimaru", Toughnes and Energy Shield Defection.
Howl Zabimaru: Renji can use Blade normally or as part of a range attack.
He should have about six clicks of health and starting states of Movement 6, Attack 10, Defence 17, Damage 2 and Range 4 with one target. He should have the Bleach TA and the keywords Division 5, Division 6, Division 11, Lieutenant and Soul Reaper.

Next we have the dial for the generic Pirates from One Piece. I have renamed them slightly to Pirate Crewman.

I have some minor change to the Body Guard generic I did last week. They should now just be Bodyguard than Shingen Yashida's Bodyguards and they should gain their minion power from anyone that shares a keyword they have that is double or more their points cost instead of just Shingen Yashida.

Next we have Tesshin Asano from the Wolverine anime. With most characters nowadays I am waiting for them to be killed or have been in four or more episode until I cover them (unles they are generics). As Tesshin was killed in episode 2, I will be covering him this week. Tesshin is a Japaness Police Detective who told Wolverine about about the location of Mariko, a girlfriend of Logan's who dissapeared a year. Tesshin, is after her father, Shingen Yashida, and wants to stop him marry his daurter to Hideki Kurohagi a leader of a crime irland. They teamed up togather to stop it and to save her. However, after the opporantion failed, Shingen had him killed and famed Wolverine for the murder. Tesshin should only have Leadship, about four clicks of health and starting states of Movemant 8, Attack 8 or 9, Defence 16, Damage 2 and Range 6 with one target. He should have the PD TA and the keywords Detective and Police.

Next is the dials for the next two Zodiac Warriors from the Iron Man anime. With the first one I am guessing is was meant to be Gemini as it had two heads and four arms. I also upped its damage to 3 as to was a bit low. I have also modified Taurus's special to boosted his attack as well.

Next we have the first of the Cosmic Break Characters, Crimerose. A female robot (Cyborg) from an outer dimension. 50% of her body consists of Zias geo-cells, allowing her to move with grace and precision. According to the manga from the site, when Crimerose and Ivis were just kids (with no robotic parts), they were tricked into join a research lab who muched around with their DNA. Crimrose was demed a failer and disappeared. She was not even a reject. The next time you see her was the next manga where she has become one of the Unions's Heroes. What happen inbetwin was never revild. When she first meet Ivis after they lenght of time that had past she had forgotten her old child hood friend Ivis until Ivis reminder her, just before Ivis went mad and desytoried the base with her Chaos powers. Also Crimrose has the ability to become Seraph Crimrose at desbut times, however this will a different figure and not the same figure or AE. So let us get this started, Crimrose should have the flight symbol, Running Shot, Charge, Super Senses, Toughness, Leadership and the AIR trait. She should have about 5 clicks of health and starting states of Movement 12, Attack 10, Defence 18, Damage 3 and Range 6 with one target. She should have the Unions TA and the keywords Robot, Armour, Moe and Air.

Next we have Lily Rain, me favouret looking character in the game. Usually elegant and ladylike, her personality changes during battle due to the effacts of her "Trance Skirt". A beautiful but deadly "Innocent Lily". There is video and a special story line mission, where Lily Rain becomes Lily Rain Eve. Again, like with Seraph Crimrose, this will a different figure and not the same figure or AE. So let us get this started, Lily Rain should have the Leap Climb, Running Shot, a special called "Psyslicer", Toughtness, Enhancement and the ART trait.
Psylicer: Give Lily Rain a power action, she may make a range attack action as if she has 4 targets. Instead of using her own damage value, he damage value becames the number of hit targets and damage dealt is penetrating damage.
She should have about 5 clicks of health and starting states of Movement 8, Attack 10, Defence 18, Damage 3 and Range 8 with two targets. She should have the Unions TA and the keywords Robot, Armour, Moe and Artillery.

Lastly we have LazFlamme. The "Blue Gale". Will kick anyone who stands behind her by reflex. You have been warned. Oh with a camio in the manga she have not any real back story. LazFlamme should have the Transporter ability, a special called "Back Kick", Toughness, Perplex and the LND trait.
Back Kick: LazFlamme can use Flurry, however both attacks must be done of different targets.
She should have about 5 clicks of health and starting states of Movement 10, Attack 10, Defence 17, Damage 3 and Range 4 with one target. She should have the Unions TA and the keywords Robot, Armour, Moe and Land.

I will be doing LE verisons of the some of the Garapon verisons of Crimrose, Lily Rain and LazFlamme . Next week's Dreamclix for ShounenClix, I am planning on doing Jango from One Piece, Watari from Death Note, maybe a generic Wolf from Dragon Ball and dials for Sakura Haruno from Naruto. For MAClix I am doing dials for Nanami Ota and Ichiro Masuda. And lastly for MechaClix, I am planning on doing a bunch of Tachikomas and maybe Major Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Well until next time, have fun.
