MK HeroClix House Rules

Thursday 27 December 2012

MK HeroClix, the 27th of December, The Batman Preview

Welcome to the MK HeroClix post. This is a weekly post with HeroClix news and results of Thursday's HeroClix game at MK Wargames Society at York House. They was a couple of games this week, due to the brothers not being there this week, we will be doing the same format next week and maybe using the same teams I will not post the teams. All I say that the two games we had Darren won both.

So next week's game will be the same as what last week's was meant to be. Death in the Family. Two 500 points teams, three actions. One team must be villains and must have Batman in it, the other team must be heroes and must have the Joker in it.

Now for this week's HeroClix news. This week there was previews of three different version of (Tron style) Spider-man from Marvel The Amazing Spider-Man (the is still a lot more Spider-men is the set); and the Robinson from Star Trek Tactics II.

Well this is the last HeroClix post of 2012 so until next time, Mecha up.

Neoscream's Life for the week of the 17th to the 23rd of December

(more pictures and WLR coming soon) HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY and welcome to another week of my life. For those new to the blog, the "Neoscream's Life" posts are basically a weekly dairy of mine. It also includes the AJ Lee news; the latest Cosplay Deviants sets and news; my "Watch, Listen and Read" lists; and 7TV teams.

Splinter, I mean the Veer-Myn coach
I received the first shipment of DreadBall KickStarters stuff on Monday. There is a post with pictures of it this was posted on the 17th. First yet get all the bad stuff over and done with. It is not as easy to play just out of the box as they made it sound as they is a lot of of parts to put together. The Veer-myn were a nightmare to put together and you have to glue the to gather. Oh and the Veer-myn are very unbalanced. Some of the figures looked like they have bended at the legs while cooling. Well at least two have. A Human Striker and a Veer-myn Striker. The human one stands out well, but the Veer-myn one in bent too low. The based cannot clip on like Mantic said they would, which is a major problem as I would have brought more and you cannot buy them on their own at the moment. And the Orx are bigger there Mantic's other Orx, so you cannot swipe parts to custom you Orx players. Well now the pros. It is great to finally have the game and to start painting my human for AJ coach figure to boss about. The MVPs all look great. The Human Strikers and Jacks each have two sets of arms giving more unique player's. There is two Orx Guards. Both look the some but the head are looking different directions. One thing I noticed during the weekend was that cost of MVPs. During the KickStarter Mantic said their RRP was $9.99, but were saling all but two big ones at a"discounted" KickStarter exclusive price of $8. However were they release to the public they are priced at $5.99 (£4.99) and come with a base and a Mantic point. I am not pissed to not having Mantic points, I would have like the basic, but what I am pissed at Mantic with is the price difference of the MVPs. The Limited Editions I can understand costing more, but the standard ones cost more and coming with less is what is making me upset with Mantic, on top of the base problems they have caused

Female Corps Player
Now for AJ Lee news. OMG. A lot has happened in just one week, and sadly in is best to go back a week to explain things. There was more I was going to write last week, but I did not start write the post until a lot later than normal due to being busy working on a letter to AJ. On Raw on the 10th of December, I felt John Cena was a bit too distant towards AJ. OK he had a match with the Big Show, an old rival of his and someone you can never underestimate. But all he seemed to only care about when Brad Maddox cost AJ the match against Vickie Guerrero was to stop AJ's Berserker Rage. He did and said NOTHING about Brad or Vickie, even after his match with the Big Show. That felt odd and not right for someone who is meant to be in a caring relationship. If it was me I be wanting to beat the crap out of Brad, but sadly I am not her boyfriend and I would not be able to beat him up.

Now to TLC. AJ was not in the bleeping Divas Battle Royal match, which all the other Diva's were in. (In real life AJ had other major story line stuff to do at TLC and I bet the WWE bosses did not want to risk any chances of injuries as it would cause them major problems with their planned story line.) During the Ladder Match between Cena and Dolph Ziggler Vickie came out with a chair and was about to hit Cena with it as Cena was winning the match. AJ rushed out and she managed to stop Vickie. Cena climbed the ladder to grab the Money in the Bank Briefcase and then for no exampled reason AJ push the ladder down, causing Cena to fall down to the ring. AJ then smiled at Dolph. Dolph then climbed the ladder and won the match.

"TIMBER"
Before I move on to Raw again, I would like to step away from AJ for a bit and talk about the results of of the TLC matchesn Sorry AJ. Please note I have not watch it, just read about it. . Naomi won the Diva Battle Royal as Eve interfered by weakening Kaitlyn. Naomi became the number one contender for the Divas championship and will face Eve later on in TLC. Eve won the match the match between her and Naomi. It was unfair odds on Naomi as she had already competed in one earlier on in the night which was the Diva's Battle Royal while Eve only competed one match. Team Rhodes Scholars defeated the team of Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara making Rhodes Scholars the number one contenders for the tag team titles. They will get their title match against Team Hell No on Main Event (Did Team Rhodes Scholars win the title match, HELL NO). There was a TLC Miz TV special. His guess there 3MB. 3MB pick on the Spanish committers, which pissed off Ricardo Rodriguez, which led to him coming out to defend his friends, which led to Alberto Del Rio to come out. 3MB ended up challenging The Miz and Alberto to a three on three match. So The Miz and Alberto needed a third man in their team. As TLC was at Brooklyn, they choose one of Brooklyn's wrestling legends, The Brooklyn Brawler as their partner and the three of them defeated 3MB. The U.S. Champion Antonio Cesaro defeated R-Truth. The Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston defeated Wade Barrett. Then The Shield somehow defeated Team Hell No and Ryback in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. OMG! What the fuck? Then the World Heavyweight Champion Big Show defeated Sheamus in a Chairs match, but only after introducing a giant foldable chair. A common Big Show trick at TLC. Lastly there was the John Cena verses Dolph Ziggler is a Ladder match for the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank contract which I already talked about.

I spent the whole of Monday ever since thinking of why AJ would back stab Cena? My first though was that Cena was just a sacrifice for a plan of stealing Dolph from Vickie to destroy Vickie. After which she would throw Dolph away like a use tissue.

WOW
Now on to Raw on the 17th of December. In was the Slammys special. All the one's that were voteable on the main WWE website had been already given out, in what AJ won Best Diva of 2012 (and hopefully many more into the future). The WWE active were rewarded on Raw. Vickie came out to percent the Best Kiss of the Year award. The nominees were: AJ and Danial Bryan, AJ and Kane, AJ and CM Punk, and AJ and Cena. The AJ and Cena kiss won. AJ came out and Vickie wanted AJ to explain herself for her actions on TLC. AJ said she owned no one exploration. Dolph came out to try to prevent AJ and Vickie from fighting. AJ jumped on to Dolph and started kissing. WOW, AJ is SUPER hot like that. You will not hear me say this that often, but I would give anything to be in Dolph's procession just then. WOW. Vickie stormed off. Later backstage Dolph and Vickie were arguing over the whole AJ thing and then Dolph break all links with Vickie. Step one of what I think is AJ's revenge on Vickie completed. Divide Vickie and Dolph. Vickie decided to set up the main event as AJ and Dolph verses Cena and..... herself. During the match AJ walked out on Ziggler, then Vickie walked out on Cena as there was no point for her to be there. Cena had the match won when he locked on the STF on Dolph when AJ came out again with NXT wrestler Big E Langston at her side. Big E attacked Cena which ended the match.

After that I felt it was a bit odd that AJ was still targeting Cena. After sleeping over it, a reason why came to me. AJ was pissed with Cena's leak of support from last week. The way he acted when she entered the Men's locker room AGAIN. The lack of support during and after her match. It seemed the only reason he stop AJ's Berserker Rage was because he had to and he was/might be the only one who could stop her at that point. And then denying her to support him in his. Their is two things you have to remember about AJ. She is obsessive and attention hungry  I now believe it is revenge on multiple people now, Vickie, Cena and Dolph (in the future).

On Smackdown on the 18th of December (yes it aired early), the Miz had AJ and Dolph as his guests on Miz TV, oh and Big E joined them too. The Miz manage to get AJ to revile WHY she betrayed Cena. Because he break her heart. I was right on the Cena side of things (and I bet I am right on the Vickie side, but she will not revile it at this early stage). I still a Cena fan, but I will have to say that he was a major idiot and should have known known how to treat a lady like AJ. She is a Goddess. The Geek Goddess. So any revenge she has for him is his own stupid fault. The Miz got flattened by Big E at the ended of Miz TV. The main event for Smackdown was Sheamus and Cena verses Big Show and Dolph. Both AJ and Big E where at ringside for Dolph. The match ended with Big E attack Cena as Cena was about to off finish Dolph. Three strait day's of AJ chaos. Still not enough AJ.

MK HeroClix, the 20th of December, Iron Armour

Welcome to the MK HeroClix post. This is a weekly post with HeroClix news and results of Thursday's HeroClix game at MK Wargames Society at York House. Due to being tired because of not sleeping well all week I did not go to HeroClix this week. So there will be no game reports this week.

Now for this week's HeroClix news. This week there was previews of EMP, Spartan Warrior Spirit, Void, Katana, Starling and Black Canary from DC Streets of Gotham; and Kornak from Star Trek Tactics II. Also the Twelve Days of ClixMas continues with a awesome day eight.

With Classic Iron Man, Tiantium Man, War Machine, 2 Iron Monger, 2 Dreadnought and mid change Extremis Tony (or it could be blooding edge). Cannot wait for this set as I am, a big Iron Man fan.

Sadly I do not know what next week's game will be, so I cannot post it in this post.

Until next time, Mecha up. Crap it is almost time for a new closing phase. If any of you have an ideas please leave it in the comments. The pat two years were, "Have Fun" and "Enjoy".

Neoscream's Life for the week of the 10th to the 17th of December

(more pictures late) Welcome to another week of my life. For those new to the blog, the "Neoscream's Life" posts are basically a weekly dairy of mine. It also includes the AJ Lee news; the latest Cosplay Deviants sets and news; my "Watch, Listen and Read" lists; and 7TV teams. Sorry for being a day late with this. The previous post and this post give hints of way, but I will explain next week.

This week at work we had stuff have personal problems out side work and major stock problems. Some of the stock problems are due to the new manager and some are due to the delivery company being out of stock.

Mantic has shipped out all of the first wave DreadBall KickStarters by Friday and there are several previews of season two stuff.

On Saturday I went to Jake's House Warming party. Not many people turned up but we had a great time. We chatted and played computer games. We played Mario Kart Wii, WWE '13 and Dead or Alive 4. It was a great night but ended badly when I lost my phone in the taxi. I ended up spending most of Sunday ever work on a letter or type to get the phone back (never happened) or searching for a new phone. That I planned to (and did) get on Monday.

Now for AJ Lee news. On Raw on the 10th of December, Vince McMahon made what should be a great match AJ vs. Vickie Guerrero. AJ was over the moon as she finally gets her hands on Vickie after all that Vickie has done. She was so happy she went into the Men's locker room (again) to see John Cena to tell him the good news. Sadly Vickie had a nasty surprise for AJ in the match, she reinstated Brad Maddox as a referee. He refused to count AJ's pin of Vickie. AJ ended up losing and because this she went on a berserker rage. He knocking chairs, ladders and tables, beating up random objects and slapping the ring announcer Justin Roberts. Sorry Justin, you just been added to AJ's slapped list. John Cena carmed her down. Later she wanted to be at ring side for Cena during his match with Big Show. But he talked her out of it. I will talk about TLC in next week's post as I did not get the results until Monday the 17th of December. All I will say is that I am pissed off the AJ was not is the Diva's Number one contender battle royal.

Post and day 5 of ClixMas

Just received this in the post today. Here are some photos of what was inside.

And now day five of ClixMas.

Until next time, Mecha Up.

Sunday 16 December 2012

On the 4th day of ClixMas.....

On the five day ClixMas aka tomorrow, I might have (figures crossed) a special post with lots of picture. Let's hope Royal Mail are not slacking.

Until tomorrow, Mecha up. Crap it is almost time for a new closing phase. If any of you have an ideas please leave it in the comments. The pat two years were, "Have Fun" and "Enjoy".

WWE TLC and day 3 of the twelve days of ClixMas

Hi all and welcome to a TLC special post. I keep meaning to do special post (or at least a part of the Neoscream’s Life) talking a bit about the up a coming WWE event since before I continual on talking about AJ, but I always forget. This time I manage to get around to do one.

First off, Team Hell No and Ryback vs. The Shield in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. With brute strength, experience even numbers I would say Team Hell No and Ryback would win this match. Come on Team Hell No manage to take down several tag teams on their own with just chairs. However, I bet The Shield or Paul Heyman has a surprise or two (or more) for Team Hell No and Ryback.

Next is World Heavyweight Champion Big Show vs. Sheamus in a Chairs match. I want Sheamus to win and Big Show provide he is scared of Sheamus as well, but I know this will be a very close and good match.

Next is Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Wade Barrett. I would like to see Kofi Kingston win this one. This could got ever way.

Next is U.S. Champion Antonio Cesaro vs. R-Truth. I would like to see R-Truth win this one.  I have a feeling R-Truth will win.

Next is John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler in a Ladder Match for the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank contract. If a fair match I would go for John Cena. But knowing Dolph and Vickie this will not be fair and after seeing this week’s Raw (I will talk more about how pissed I am about what happened in the next Neoscream’s Life post) I am betting Vickie will be making Brad Maddox the referee for the match. (BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!) UPDATE: According to a Sky Bet ad on Facebook, the odd are a 13/8 chance of a John Cena winning the match.

Next is Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara vs. Team Rhodes Scholars in a No. 1 Contender’s Tables match. I would like to see Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara win this one, but you can never underestimate Team Rhodes Scholars.

And lastly the preshow "Santa’s Helper" No. 1 Contender’s Diva Battle Royal match. They first stated that  all the Divas are in it, but now they are saying Alicia Fox, Layla, Natalya, Kaitlyn, Tamina Snuka, Rosa Mendes, Aksana, Cameron and Naomi. So all but Eve who is the Divas Champion, Vickie Guerrero who is not a real wrestler and AJ Lee. What the fuck? No AJ! What the hell? Cameron and Naomi have never had a Divas match before (to my knowledge), Rose by the look of things has not had a televised match in over a year and AJ has defeated Tamina only a couple of weeks ago. So why have them over AJ? Is this Vickie’s doing? Who knows? I am just pissed that she is not in it. Well as AJ cannot win the match as she is not in it than I would like to see ever Layla, Natalya or Kaitlyn win it.

When I was writing this post originally this post I thought it looked look all the Divas were in it and wrote this: “By the sound of it all the Divas are in the match including the Funkadactyls, no clue if Vickie is in it or not. Maybe the medics are still checking to see if she is female or not (a John Cena joke). You all most know by now who I will be cheering for by now. If you do not it’s the lovely, adorable, fantastic, slap happy, goddess of Geekdom, April Jeanette Mendez, aka AJ Lee. This takes me back to a computer controls six Dive Battle Royal match I ran on WWE ’13. It was Kharma, a CAW made AJ made as the official one was not out yet, Kaitlyn, Rei Ayanami and two others I cannot remember who they were at the moment. AJ first and quickly eliminated Kharma first, and then she eliminated the other two who I cannot remember and then both her and Kaitlyn eliminated Rei. Kaitlyn kept on throw AJ out of the ring, but AJ kept grabbing the top rope and surviving due to her shortness. Sadly Kaitlyn manage to get luckily after about half a dozen to a dozen attempts she manage to successfully throw AJ out to win. But that was a fake CAW made AJ. The real AJ will do better.” Sadly not being in it now that she is not in it, she cannot rule the ring.

And now for the 3rd day of ClixMas. I know is this about day late but I did not get round to finishing this post until today. The 4th day is not up yet, so keep an eye for another post later today.

Until next time, Mecha Up.
