MK HeroClix: 24th of January - Famous Duos

Welcome to the MK HeroClix post. This is a weekly post with HeroClix news and results of Thursday's HeroClix game at MK Wargames Society at York House. This week there was previews of a Blade (it is great that there is a new Blade in HeroClix), Docor Voodoo, Spider-Girl and Satana Hellstrom from Marvel The Amazing Spider-Man which is out soon; Cloak, Dagger, Rhino, Electro, Mysterio and Blade from Marvel The Amazing Spider-Man Gravity Feed which is out soon; and the Gor Portas and the U.S.S. Enterprise from Star Trek Tactics II which is out now.

This week’s game was 500 points, 3 actions, at least one figure must be a Duo figure. My team ended up being:

In the first round I was up against Michael. He was using a Teen Titans themed team who were:

I manage to take out Supergirl in the first turn, but my dice rolls were crap afterward and Michael's were good with two critical hits from Beast Boy on Thor and Loki. I manage to take down Beast Boy but it was too late and the damage was done. I lost. Also Adrian defeated Darren in their game. In the second round I was up against Darren. He was using a female heavy Avengers themed team who were:

Like normal against Darren I lost this game. Also Michael lost his game against his brother Adrian. In the third and final round I was up against Adrian. He was using a Detective themed team who were:

A critical miss from my first attack on Batman and Green Arrow from Thor and Loki sealed my fate. It does not help with Thor and Loki suffering to a Critical Hit again too. According to Michael and Darren I dealt Batman and Green Arrow the most damage than anyone else today as they were on their last click, but sadly I still lost.

Next week will be 500 points, 3 actions, the team must be a rarely used or unused Named theme.
