Welcome
to the “Gaming News from Neoscream”. This is my weekly gaming news post for
miniature games, RPGs, some card games, my painting and upcoming local events.
“Gaming
News”
First
off we have the HeroClix news. We got previews of: B. Skull Dragon, Magician of
Faith and Witch of the Black Forest from Yu-Gi-Oh Series Three; and She-Hulk
and Black Panther from Marvel Age of Ultron Event.
Next
is the Cool Mini or Not news. With Blood Rage, we got some images of first wave
of production proofs, three figures from five of the clans.
With
Zombicide Season Three, the missing container as arrived and now the remaining
American and Canadian stuff should be shipping soon.
Now
for the Thunderbirds Co-operative Board Game news. We finally got images of the
new look board for the game.
Next
is the Crooked Dice Games news. June will see the release of their Heroes Archetypes
based on classic movie and TV characters.
Now for the Mantic news. First off
is Dungeon Saga. Last week we got
previews of what the cards and rulebook pages will look like.
They were hoping to start shipping
DreadBall Xtreme wave three by the end of May. But due to problems with the
deluxe DreadBall pitch and the customisable DreadBall Xtreme pitch, it will
most likely be the end of June. We also got painted image of the Crystallans
team.
Mantic is also doing a BIG reveal
week starting Monday. I have a strong feeling that it will be Warpath.
Next
is the Stonehaven Miniatures news. There were still greens that they had not
shown us yet, and now they have shown off the remaining greens or at least most
of them.
Now
for the Guild Ball news.
They have posted organised play documents from running tournament now.
Next
is the Dragon Tides news. This week we got images of the named characters from the
box game. They are looking nice.
Lastly
let us talk about a new KickStarter that started last weekend, Home Raiders. A
1:1 scale model game (they are not really miniatures due to the scale) where little
folk from the Inner-space sneak in your home to battle for dominance! The model
game for all ages and levels of expertise. There is only really one pledge
level, Portal, that comes with the two player starter set and the KickStarter
exclusive Gremlin figure RAF the Pilot.
SO
far they have unlocked: The Game was funded; Lilliput Biker as an add-on; Gremlin
Climbers as an add-on; foam packing added to the Two Player Starter Set and
most likely the Faction Starter sets; the Faction “Lords of Dust” with their
faction starter set as an add-on; a Lords of Dust Booster with the Priest and
the Mummies as an add-on; the Faction “Fair Folk” with their faction starter
set as an add-on; and a Fair Folk Booster with the Leprechaun and some Fauns as
an add-on.
The
stretch goal that was still going when I posted this was: The faction “Freeloaders”
with their faction starter set as an add-on.
