Gaming News from Neoscream: 19th February 2016
Welcome everyone to the “Gaming News from Neoscream” post. This is my weekly gaming news post for miniature games, RPGs and some card games, as well as my miniatures painting and upcoming local events.
Due to going to London next Friday to see Foxes at the Round House and work on Saturday, next week’s post will ever be on the Thursday or on the Sunday or there will not be a post next week. Hopefully it will be on Thursday, but I am not placing any bets, but if there is no post I might post the Build Analysis post for my Genesis deck for Cardfight Vanguard an week earlier as most of it is written.
First off we have the Bushiroad news. With Weiß Schwarz, today sees the release of NISEMONOGATARI Booster set, Trial Deck and Meister Set in English and the School Girl Strikers Booster set in Japanese.
Next is the HeroClix news. This week we got previews of: Two versions of Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Yes that is right the HeroClix set for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is still coming.
Now for the Mantic news. Since last week’s post The Walking Dead All Out War KickStarter has managed to unlock: Four Abandoned Car; two more Prison Walkers, Walker Duane and eight Equipment cards were added to the Prison Expansion; the characters Maggie, Julie, Chris, Arnold, Laien, Craig and Carlos; the characters Rick in Riot Gear, Morgan, Billy and Ben was added to the Prison Expansion; two Farm Walkers; one more Walker; four more Equipment cards; and the KickStarter exclusive character Abraham.
The stretch goals that are still going as I post this are: The character Michonne (with her Walkers) will be added to the Prison Expansion.
The KickStarter will be finishing week so let us see what they can unlock between now and then.
Also on Warpath side of Mantic, the beta rules for the Firefight version of the game is available to download.
Next is the IDW games "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shadows of the Past" KickStarter news. The KickStarter has ended last night and they managed to make $862,211 with 6,033 backers.
Since the last post they have managed to unlock: KickStarter exclusiveSheamus Rocksteady was added to The Works pledge level; KickStarter exclusive Mirage -mission- campaign, KickStarter exclusive Roof Top map and a KickStarter exclusive ally card for Fugitoid was added to both pledge levels; another Eastman Lithograph and a portfolio case was added to The Works pledge level; eight KickStarter exclusive villain custom dice were added to both pledge levels; a KickStarter exclusive villain sheet of Shredder was added to The Works pledge level; and KickStarter exclusive human versions of Bebop and Rocksteady was added to The Works pledge level; a KickStarter exclusive sculpt of Shredder was added to The Works pledge level; and the Ally card Angel Bridge. With Angel Bridge, they have not made it clear (unless it was in the comments) if she is a KickStarter exclusive or not and what she is being added to (the cord game, both Pledge levels or just The Works pledge level).
They have managed to unlock everything.
Now for the Kingdom Death news. If you did not see the update post I did during the ladt weekend, wave three of Kingdom Death Monster has started shipping. Wave three was meant to contain all of the expansions, however due to problems the Lantern Festival expansion will be shipping on its own as a fourth wave.
During the week people who have received their's have been posting previews and they are looking awesome. Oh and the Green Armour set is so very over powered.
Next is the Privateer Press news. They have joined the KickStarter bandwagon again. This time for the Hordes version of "The Undercity", called "Widower's Wood". This includes an expansion for it too. There are three pledge levels. "Widower's Wood Game Plus" which is the game and stretch goals that are linked to that level. "Widower's Wood Deluxe Edition" comes with the core game, the expansions Dead Men Walking and all appropriate Stretch goals. And then "Widower's Wood Premium Collectors Edition" comes with the core game, the expansion, Q-Workshop dice, a deluxe wooden box to store ALL the stuff you get and all appropriate Stretch goals.
As I post this they have managed to unlock: The game was funded; the KickStarer exclusives Viktor Pendrake and a mission was added to all pledge levels; the KickStarer exclusives Crede, Jagger and Lanyssa Ryssyl was added to both the Deluxe and Premium levels; four more Swamp Shamblers, two Swamp Gobbers, sixteen alternate autumn themed tiles and four more Side Quest cards were added to all pledge levels; and a Boss Club Gatorman was added to both the Deluxe and Premium pledge levels.
As I post this the stretch goals that are still going were: A KickStarter exclusive Ironback Soitter will be added to both the Deluxe and Premium pledge levels at £225k (almost done); a Boss Spear Bog Trog will be added to both the Deluxe and Premium pledge levels at $237k; four more Small Tatzylwurms will be added to all pledge levels at $250k; a Boss Swamp Gobber will be added to both the Deluxe and Premium pledge levels at $262k; four more Club Gatormen and a KickStarter exclusive mission will be added to all pledge levels at $245k; a Boss Small Tatzylurm will be added to both the Deluxe and Premium pledge levels at $287k; six Tomahawk Gatormen will be added to both the Deluxe and Premium pledge levels at $300k; a Boss Gatorman Bokor will be added to both the Deluxe and Premium pledge levels at $312k; ever six more Spear Bog Trogs or two more Gatormen Bokor (voted by backers) will be added to all pledge levels at $325k; ever a KickStarter exclusive Blackhide Wrastler or a KickStarter exclusive Swamp Horror at $350k.
Now for the Modiphius news. Well this is not really news, more like a statement. Like normal with ANY role play KickStarter I have backed, wave one of the Infinity RPG is running late. They are still working on the core rule book and the other books of wave one, the physical copies of them should have/be shipping this month. I have a strong feeling that wave one will be more like April/May time. Let us just hope that it will not be as bad as Mekton, which the PDF copy of the main rule book was meant to ship in December 2013 and we are STILL waiting for it.
Next is the Cool Mini or Not news. On the Arcadia Quest Inferno KickStarter they have posted the fourth part of making Sarya.
Lastly on other gaming news Nintendo have revealed that in the holiday period of 2016 they will be releasing the next generation of Pokemon games. Pokemon Moon and Pokemon Sun. Oh and Pokemon celebrates 20 years today.
These are local gaming events in Milton Keynes I know of, Guardians of Tyr events at Wargames Workshop Northampton and other events I plan on going to or want to advertise.

Neoscream's Life: 15th to 21st of February 2016
"Life"
On Thursday I had an interview for a Sunday job at Wargames Workshop MK. Sadly I did not get it, however they are hoping to expand in the future. So they will probably need to hire more stuff then.
Work have really began messing me about. I was meant to have Wednesday and Saturday off. I got my day/time for my Interview with Wargames Workshop on Monday night which was Thursday morning. Work change my Wednesday day off to Thursday. However due to an injury the person I they changed my shift with, I had to come into work straight after the Interview. They said they might be able to give me Friday off but that never happened. Then on Saturday in the middle of coffee I ended up being called in as according to them two members of staff had called in sick (In fact it was just one). I had to go all the way home to pick up my bag and uniform as well as changing my shoes and coat, and then go to work. I did ended up having Sunday off. It was bad enough I had to work with the Brat for two days, but the messing about of my hour was a real pain. And now they are messing up my schedule for the next two weeks, as I cannot go to this week's Cardfight Vanguard tournament. C'est la vie.
"HeroClix"
Like normal on a Thursday night I went down to York House for some HeroClix. The scenario was "Out of this World". 500 points. At least one figure must be from another planet.
My original plan was to do an Excalibur themed team, however I forgot I did not have one of the figures. As when I realised it the morning before, it would be a nightmare to redo it or make a new team. I decided to use to grab a team that I done several week’s ago as it was already out. I just changed one figure that might have been the weak link with a different version of the same points cost. For Asgard:
Thor (005 Marvel HeroClix 10th Anniversary) 200
Hogun (002 Marvel Hammer of Thor Fast Forces) 100
Volstagg (003 Marvel Hammer of Thor Fast Forces) 100
Fandral (018 Marvel Hammer of Thor) 101
=501 points.
On the first round I was up against Darren S. He was using a Brightest Day themed team who were:
Hawkgirl (004 DC Brightest Day) 71
Captain Boomerang (005 DC Brightest Day) 61
Hawk (005 DC Streets of Gotham) 100
Dove (006 DC Streets of Gotham) 100
Martian Manhunter (001 DC WizKids Prize Support) 165
=497 points.
Like normal Darren S won. Also Michael won his game against his brother Adrian.
On the second round I was up against Adrian. He was using an Infinity Watch themed team who were:
Adam Warlock (010 Marvel Galactic Guardians) 165
Drax the Destroyer (065 Marvel Supernova) 168
Gamora (054 Marvel Secret Invasion) 73
Pip the Troll (006 Marvel Hammer of Thor) 42
Cammi (019 Marvel Avenger Assemble) 51
=499 points.
I managed to win this game with only losing Fandral. Also Darren S won his game against Michael.
On the third and final round I was up against Michael. He was using an Amazon themed team who were:
Superman and Wonder Woman (009 DC WizKids Prize Support) 350 + Amazons (ATA) 4 = 354
Amazon (005 DC Brave and the Bold) 50 + Amazons (ATA) 4 = 54
Phillipus (027 DC Brave and the Bold) 84 + Amazons (ATA) 4 = 88
=496 points
Sadly I lost this game. The two critical misses was a pain. Also shockingly Adrian won his game against Darren S.
This week's scenario will be a standard 500 points. However all specials rules on maps are in play.

Gaming News from Neoscream - Update
Hi all, I realised I missed a major update on the Kingdom Death Monster KickStarter. To save time here is a link to the update. Basically wave three has started to ship and sadly there will be a wave four now.
I am hoping they will put the Expansion on sale soon. I would love to get my hands on at least a couple of them. Sadly the main one I am after is the one that is being delayed.
Until next time, enjoy life.

Neoscream's Life: 8th to 14th of February 2016
Welcome everybody to another the Neoscream's Life post. This is my weekly post of life, what games I have been playing, what I have been painting and what I have watching and reading. This week's opening pictures is of the Forsaker from Kingdom Death.
On Monday I went down to Wargames Workshop MK for a couple of games of Star Wars Imperial Assault. We played the demo game and then the first mission of the campaign. It is quite a good game and I would not mind playing through a campaign to see how the campaign system works.
The re-fitters sped up the work with extra people. However on Wednesday I was still doubtful that they will get it ready on time. On the Thursday as I was waiting for the bus to work I got a phone call from the Baka, Immad, saying to not come into to work as everything not working the Drive-thru will not be opening, however we will be opening the whole store on Friday and that I have to be in work early to get things ready. When I got in on Friday I was told that the store will be opening at 11am, however due to a delay this was pushed up to 12pm. It was chaotic as we had new tills and new fizzy drinks machines which no one was trained on. C'est la vie. There are still stuff to do, but they said it will be done at a later date.
On Friday evening I, Darren H and Richard went down to Simon’s for some Kingdom Death Monster. Like I said in last week’s post, we restarted the Settlement phase at the point we draw the Plague Settlement Event card. Luckily non of the four survivors who got it died, so the plague did not carry on. With the Armoured Stranger Story Event, we managed to get a better result, however we still did retaliate against the King's Man. We did quite well. We lost one of our sword specialist that Simon was using and one of the Plague victims, but the dagger specialist that Richard was using gained King's Step. With the four Endeavours we had from the last hunt on innovation and curing the remaining three Survivors that were hit with the Plague.
On Saturday I went down to Wargames Workshop MK for Valentine's Day Special Cardfight Vanguard Duos Tournament. I was using my rebuilt Dimension Police (Dimensional Robo) deck which you can check out on my first Build Analysis post (however I was using an X-rogue instead of an X-falcon). I teamed up with Jasper who was using an Oracle Think Tank (Tsukuyomi) deck.
On the first round we were up against Angel Feather and Gold Paladin decks. We sadly lost. I had terrible draws this game. I needed to G Assist to grade one and then I struggled to get to grade three.
On the second round we were up against Narukami and Bermuda Triangle decks. We managed to win this one.
On the third round we were up against the deadly combo of Link Joker and Aqua Force decks. We just managed to scrape a win, but they were a very good team.
Due to time we had to cut to the quarter finals which we managed to make the cut. Sweet. We were up against Shell and Matt (Liam was work). They were was Pale Moon and Dark Irregulars decks. Can anyone say "Team Asteroid". My formation seemed to be working more, however the multi attacks from Shell's Pale Moon deck really did us in as we had to burn thou a ton of card for defence. We ended up losing, however we were up against Shell who normally wins the tournaments.
I have a strong feeling that the main problems I was having were more to do with bad luck with my draws. My partner did suggest I should have more cards that help me draw more cards (like draw triggers). Maybe it is something to look into in the future if there is more problems, however in the post I have always found draw triggers are more damaging than help. Anyway I do believe I need to get some more practice with this deck that is not once a fortnight at best. However I did released afterwards that "Dimensional Robo, Dailion" is very useless in duos, as the likelihood that our damage would be at four by the second round of grade threes. Now do Dimensional Robo have grade one that help you draw cards? (There is one but is Counter Blasts to do so.)
Like normal on a Thursday night I went down to York House for some HeroClix. The scenario was "Jack The Giant Slayer". 500 points. Your team must start with a Giant, any character containing the name 'Jack' received +1 Attack and +1 Damage vs Giants.
Sorry I forgot to take photos of the teams and my memory of the games are not great. So there is no write up this week. Here is my team anyway:
Yellowjacket (006a Marvel Secrete Invasion) 100
Goliath (066 Marvel Avengers Assemble) 98
Firebird (011 Marvel Avengers Assemble) 105
Echo (010 Marvel Avengers Assemble) 96
Iron Man (012 Marvel HeroClix 10th Anniversary) 101
=810 points.
This week's scenario will be "Out of this World". 500 points. At least one figure must be from another planet.
Below is an image of my painting table at the end of last Sunday night or the start of Monday morning.

Gaming News from Neoscream: 12th February 2016
Welcome everyone to the “Gaming News from Neoscream” post. This is my weekly gaming news post for miniature games, RPGs and some card games, as well as my miniatures painting and upcoming local events.
Sadly I do not know at the moment when Wave Two is meant to ship.
Also with Warpath, they have revealed images of the The Plague "upgraded" version of the GCPS Hornet.
Next is the IDW games "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shadows of the Past" KickStarter news. Since the last post they have managed to unlock: The five Street Thug Brawlers tokens will be replaced with figures; the Hero dice will be upgraded to the colour of the Turtles; six Foot Ninjas will be upgraded to Foot Elite; Evil Pizza Tokens; three Foot Ninjas will be replaced with Foot Brawlers; KickStarter exclusive Hero Splinter; nine KickStarter exclusive Mousers; a KickStarter exclusive Save the Studio mission and map.
The stretch goals that are still going as I post this are: A Eastman Lithograph at $451k; six more KickStarter exclusive Mousers at $460k; and the ickStarter exclusive Save the Studio mission will be upgraded to a campaign with a Kevin Eastman ally card.
Now for the Modiphius news. Most of wave two of the Thunderbirds Co-Operative Board Game is now on boats from China to the distribution centres. The only thing that has not shipped is the RPG rulebook which was delayed. It should be being air shipped when Chinese New Year is over and they should be arrive about the same time as the sea shipped stuff arrive at the distribution centres.
Lastly there is the Frostgrave news. They have revealed that with the next expansion book "The Breeding Pit", they will be releasing a new hard plastic kit. This time it is Gnolls. There is currently no details if you can use them in your warband or if they are just monsters to fight against in the campaign.
These are local gaming events in Milton Keynes I know of, Guardians of Tyr events at Wargames Workshop Northampton and other events I plan on going to or want to advertise.
“Gaming News”
The stretch goals that are still going as I post this are: Six more Walkers, four more Equipment cards and four more Event cards at $280k; the Greene Farm Expansion that will ship in wave two at $300k; the character Glenn that will ship in wave two at $310k; and a Walker version of Ronnie at 2250 backers.
First off we have the Bushiroad news. With Cardfight Vanguard, next Friday will see the release of G Technical Booster 1 "The Reckless Rampage in English and both G Trial Deck 8 "Vampire Princess of the Nether Hour" and the G Booster Set 6 "Transcension of Blade and Blossom" in Japanese.
Next is the HeroClix news. This week we got previews of: Robotman, Mento, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and The Chief from DC World's Finest. They have decided to change their idea of the changes to the cards. The dial will now be of the back of the card and ALL the abilities and traits will be crammed onto the front of the card. With that a new ruling will be coming to play, your opponent can not see the back of your cards now. Personally I thinks this is even a worst idea as it forces people to buy card sleeves and it crams information that at time barely fits on one two side on of side. The font on that will be far too small. If they what a copy on the dial on a card and do not want you to show your opponent it then paint it on a second card.
Sadly I do not know at the moment when Wave Two is meant to ship.

Build Analysis: Cardfight Vanguard Cosmic Heroes
Welcome to another Build Analysis. This is the fortnightly blog post that breaks down my deck and team/army builds. This time we will be looking at my other Dimension Police deck for Cardfight Vanguard, Cosmic Heroes.
I originally built a Dimensional Robo deck out of BT13 Catastrophic Outbreak, the Dimension Police trial deck and some cards picked up on eBay, but when I started going to the Cardfight Vanguard tournaments that Shell runs at Wargames Workshop MK, I started to getting the booster set Cosmic Roar, which was basically a Clan Booster Set for Dimension Police that upgraded the clan to G standards and introduced a new Sub Clan called Cosmic Hero. I ended up replacing my Dimensional Robos with Cosmic Heroes and it remained my only and main deck for quite sometime (however I have always planned on rebuilding a Dimensional Robo deck one day which I have now done).
The latest version of my Cosmic Hero deck is:
Grade Four
Super Cosmic Hero, X-falcon x3
Super Cosmic Hero, X-rogue x3
Dark Superhero, Omega x2
Grade Three
Great Cosmic Hero, Grandgallop x4
Great Cosmic Hero, Grandbazooka x4
Grade Two
Cosmic Hero, Grandfire x4
Cosmic Hero, Grandsub x4
Cosmic Hero, Grandkungfu x3
Grade One
Cosmic Hero, Grandguard x4
Commander Laurel x2
Cosmic Hero, Grandrope x3
Cosmic Hero, Grandranger x2
Cosmic Hero, Grandchopper x2
Cosmic Hero, Grandwagon x1
Grade Zero
Dimensional Robo, Daimagnum (Starter) x1
Cosmic Hero, Grandrescue (Heal) x4
Dimensional Robo, Daibattles (Critical) x2
Operator Girl, Reika (Stand) x4
Dimensional Robo, Daiwolf (Critical) x3
Cosmo Fang (Stand) x2
Cosmic Hero, Grandbeat (Critical) x1
Yes that is right, I am using a Dimensional Robo starter in my Cosmic Hero deck. In my opinion Daimagnum runs better in the deck than the Cosmic Hero one as Cosmic Heroes are about boosting their attacks to unlock abilities and Daimagnum does that without being at Generation Break. The Cosmic Hero one, "Cosmic Hero, Grandseed", only gives your Vangaurd an ability IF Grandseed's attack is high enough and when you are at least Generation Break One. I am not saying the ability is bad, just that I prefer the attack boost Daimagnum gives.
Like with my Dimension Robo deck I posted last time, this deck main tactic is multiple attack due to Laurel and Stand triggers. However is it also about boosting my attacks to activate abilities. Also it would be ideal to have Grandranger behind my Vanguard for the extra power.
Sadly with Strides I normally always end up picking X-rogue over X-falcon due to worries that I cannot boost my attack value high enough. I was thinking this was more due to self-confidence than the deck, however I have been told by another Dimension Police player that X-falcon is a hard one to pull off, ever in a Cosmic Hero deck. I was planning on getting some copies of "Super Cosmic Hero, X-tiger" for this deck, however after the advice over X-falcon I received I know I really need to get some. I am currently thing of two and make it two copies of each of the X strides.
With grade zeros, I do want to get three more copies of Grandfight, make it four. Doing this I would be dropping the two copies of Daibattles and a copy of Daiwolf which is not a problem.
With the grade ones I would not mind getting two more copies of Laurel. Also I need to think of the right balance of my other grade ones, especially if I get more Laurels, as I feel like I have too many different cards.
I am very happy with my grade two and three line-ups. I personally cannot think of any changes I could do to improve it.
Well that is another post writing and the main bulk of it was finished the morning after I posted the first Build Analysis post. However this does not mean I have not worked on it between then and now. I have also written my Nova Grappler and Genesis builds as I post this. Well anyway the next Build Analysis will be my Nova Grapplers.
Until next time, enjoy life.
Grade Fours |
Great Cosmic Hero, Grandgallop x4
Great Cosmic Hero, Grandbazooka x4
Grade Two
Cosmic Hero, Grandfire x4
Cosmic Hero, Grandsub x4
Cosmic Hero, Grandkungfu x3
Grade One
Cosmic Hero, Grandguard x4
Commander Laurel x2
Cosmic Hero, Grandrope x3
Cosmic Hero, Grandranger x2
Cosmic Hero, Grandchopper x2
Cosmic Hero, Grandwagon x1
Grade Threes |
Grade Twos |

Neoscream's Life: 1st to 7th of February 2016
Welcome everybody to another the Neoscream's Life post. This is my weekly post of life, what games I have been playing, what I have been painting and what I have watching and reading. This week's opening pictures is of the Butcher from Kingdom Death.
First off let us continue with the Kingdom Death Monster write up I forgot to finish last week. However there was not much more to write. With both the Plague Settlement Event and Armoured Stranger Story events in play, I have a terrible feeling that we are doomed. We will have to wait and see. However after talking to Simon last week about it, we have decided to re roll everything, but keep with the Plague Settlement Event. We decided on this as we were rushing things at that time as it was late, we were tired and we wanted to get the Settlement phase over and done with before packing up and leaving. Well let us see what happens now.
The refit at work is running more smoother than last week, however I dealt that it will be ready by the end of the three week period that they said it will take. However the day before I posted this I was told that they will most likely reopen Dinning Area on Friday, three days ahead of the plan.
On Monday I went down to Wargames Workshop MK for the first round of the Frostgrave campaign. Oh six of turned up. We split into three two player games all playing the first scenario for the Thaw of the Lich Lord campaign book. In my game I sadly only scored two treasures and my Wizard only went up two levels, however I did not permanently lose any of my warband. I decided to go for the Inn so I can potentially have a second Animal Companion and I plan on getting a Kendall with a Warhound with what little gold I earned.
On Friday lunchtime after a lot of XCOM 2 and receiving an awesome delivery in the post. The long awaited Kingdom Death Black Friday stuff had finally arrived as well as the awesome new album from the fabulous Foxes. After that I went down to the City Centre to meet up with two old co-workers and friends, the headache known as Marisa and her other half. We had coffee and chatted for about an hour about old times and a bit about the wrestling.
Now for XCOM 2. I really am liking and enjoying this game. I really enjoyed XCOM Enemy Unknown/Within due to the whole turn based game play and XCOM 2 does not change the greatness of that. They made the Command section more interactive and tactical which is a huge plus point to it. The only thing that I dislike it compared to Enemy Within is this you do not get to control Mechs as standard. However they are meant to be adding a six class of soldier that can only advance for new tech than field experience. This will come in a DLC that will be coming out towards the end of this year. Sounds like a return of the Mechanised Troopers, oh please let it be.
On Saturday I went down to Wargames Workshop MK for first Steam Roller tournament (Warmachine/Hoards) of the year at Wargames Workshop MK. I brought my normal Kara Sloan list. As I have posted it several times in the past posts and as I plan on doing a Build Analysis post on it (after doing the six Cardfight Vanguard Decks), I will not be posting it this time.
In the first round I was up against a Legion play who was quite new at using Legion, but it does not mean that he was not skilled player. He heavily wounded my force in the first round and then he managed to assassinate my Warcaster in the second turn.
On the second round I was up against a Retribution player I know from the store. His synergy between his warjacks was quite nice and powerful. Sadly I lost this game. After that we broke up for a lunch break.
On the third and final round I was up ageist another Retribution player in a 50 points game. Sadly I ended up losing this game too. I did find that the Steamroller scenario we were playing dose not really suit a 50 points as I found the Zone objectives was too centralised and small. This led to a chunk of my force could not being able to do much as the rest of my force was in the way as I was too clustered up to get to and defend the zone and objective.
Sadly I ended up winning the wooden spoon of doom again. Well anyway it was a good day and next time they are planning on trying out death clock instead of time turns.
There was no HeroClix last week so there is no report. However this week’s scenario will be "Jack The Giant Slayer". 500 points. Your team must start with a Giant, any character containing the name 'Jack' received +1 Attack and +1 Damage vs Giants.
There will be another type of Crate coming to Loot Crate soon. They already have the standard Loot Crate, Loot Crate + (extra clothing and accessories) based on the main theme of the month, Loot Anime that has its own theme each month, Pet Crate that is based on the main theme of each month, special Loot Crates that are a single show/film/event/game themed (Star Wars, Fallout 4) and now Gamer Crate that contains computer game related stuff. Like Loot Anime, Loot Gaming will follow its own theme.
During the week I managed to finish paining a lot more figures than what I expected due to XCOM 2. I managed to finish off three Maliflux figures and two Arcadia Quest figures.
Below is an image of my painting table at the end of last Sunday night or the start of Monday morning.

Watched: Episode 39 of Fairy Tail.

"Painting and Converting"
Due the slowness of painting at the moment and the fact that I am playing XCOM 2 at the moment, I have decided to not post any new models for the rest of this month. Do not worry, the first post that they will be returning is on the 1st of March.

Gaming News from Neoscream: 5th February 2016
Welcome everyone to the “Gaming News from Neoscream” post. This is my weekly gaming news post for miniature games, RPGs and some card games, as well as my miniatures painting and upcoming local events.
They also revealed a work in progress image of a new design for the characters card. I am in mix minds over the fact that the state are on the cards. It make it easier to build characters, but letting my opponent to see it is the problem. Also with special in the new format will be hard to read as the text will be much smaller.
Now for the Cool Mini or Not news. It has been revealed that the next KickStarter that they will be running is "Malaphias". It is a dungeon crawler spin-off of Arcadia Quest. I have heard that it will be a different system, however there be rules for using all the Heroes and Monsters in both games. It is meant to hit KickStarter at the end of this month. I do wish they waited until Arcadia Quest Inferno had shipped to backers and stores before for this one.
Speaking of Arcadia Quest. They have posted the third part of their sculpting Sarya series. This time they covered fine detail.
With Zombicide, they have revealed that wave two of Zombicide Black Plague will be shipping in June now due to Chinese New Year. This was shocking news to me as I thought it all had already shipped. Wave two is the expansions and a ton of the extra heroes and special Zombies.
Next is the Mantic news. The Walking Dead All Out War KickStarter has started and is going strong. The main pledge level is called "Something to Fear". They do have plans for multiple shipments, however everything unlocked so far is meant to be in the first wave that is meant to ship in August this year.
Since it started they have managed to unlock: The game was funded; the characters Shane, Reggie, Lori, Andrea and Amy; two new Walker for the Atlanta Expansion; two extra Walkers; and fourteen more Equipment cards.
The stretch goals that are still going as I post this are: The KickStarter exclusive character Michonne at $250k.
Now for the Zero Agents news. The are still busy sculpting the figures and making "how to play" graphics. They did however show off updated CAD images of Cola and Candy who will now be separate figures due to the rules they have given Cola.
Next is the Dragon Tides news. The game has been shipping and their are backers who have it. However a lot of backers are still waiting due to the fact that the company are still waiting for Greenbrier Games stuff to arrive. Sadly I am one of these backers who is still beeping waiting. C'est la vie.
Now for the Hawk Wargame news. The pledge manager for Dropfleet Commander is up and all backers of the KickStarter should have an email to it.
Next IDW game has started a new KickStarter for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Board game called "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shadows of the Past". There are two main pledge levels. There is the core in a KickStarter exclusive box that comes with a KickStarter exclusive April O'neil as a playable hero and any appropriate stretch goals. Or the is "The Works" that comes with core in a KickStarter exclusive pizza box, a KickStarter exclusive April O'neil as a playable hero, KickStarter exclusive Eastman variants of the turtles and any appropriate stretch goals.
Since it started they have managed to unlock: The game will be funded; the five Street Thug Gunner tokens will be replaced with figures; Old Hob villain was added to both pledge levels; and the KickStarter exclusive Casey Jones was added to both pledge levels.
The stretch goals that are still going as I post this are: The five Street Thug Brawlers tokens will be replaced with figures at an unrevealed amount, but can I make an educated guess based on old goals that it will be $325k.
Now for some rare Computer Gaming new. XCOM 2 is coming out today (well last night). I had pre-ordered it and done some playing. It is great. Oh god, this is going to destroy my painting time.
Lastly do not forget to vote on the Beasts of War 2015 Gaming Awards your favourites games and products of 2015.
These are local gaming events in Milton Keynes I know of, Guardians of Tyr events at Wargames Workshop Northampton and other events I plan on going to or want to advertise.
“Gaming News”
First off we have the Bushiroad news. With Weiß Schwarz, today sees the release of Puyo Puyo Pack Trial Deck in Japanese.
They also revealed a work in progress image of a new design for the characters card. I am in mix minds over the fact that the state are on the cards. It make it easier to build characters, but letting my opponent to see it is the problem. Also with special in the new format will be hard to read as the text will be much smaller.
