Neoscream's Life: 27th of May to 2nd of June 2013

NRX-044 Asshimar (mobile armour mode)
Welcome to the Neoscream's Life post. This is a weekly post of some of the things I have done last week and news on stuff from Crooked Dice Games, Mantic Game, Mekton and the Geek Goddess AJ Lee.

I was off work on Thursday as I was going to Milton Keynes Collage to enroll for their A+ Certification course. But first I went to the shopping centre MK with my mum to get haircuts and a little bit of shopping. We also had lunch at Nando's before going to Milton Keynes Collage. One of the places we went to was Marks and Spencer as my mum needed underwear.  While at the underwear section I kept on seeing panties that remind me of the MFC model AraWhisper (formerly CandyWhisper). Because of that it felt s lot more embarrassing than normal being in the woman's underwear section. After the collage we went to do the food shopping.

Marvel Chaos War Wolverine next to Marvel X-Men
TabApp Wolverine
On Friday's MK HeroClix post I forgot to talk about the X-Men HeroClix TabApp set I brought on Thursday so I have decided to talk about it here. Their states and abilities are very great and playable.  The sculpts look nice on their own and are good quality, but the style does not go with the standard HeroClix and they are massive compared is not helped by the thicker dial.

It was announced on Saturday that the Christmas special will be the last time Matt Smith will play the Doctor in Doctor Who. Who will replace him? I have no clue, but he will be missed. Three years of being the Doctor is about average. The only ones that bet that are Jon Pertwee (four years), David Tennant (five years) and Tom Baker (seven years).

Asterian DreadBall Team
Now for the Mantic news. I forgot to state last week that there are now Beta rules for Deadzone now that are free to download. Mantic has also now published alpha army rules for the Plague in Warpath. A lot of the new aliens in the Rebel faction seem to be alien races that people were suggesting for DreadBall teams back during the DreadBall KickStarter. Before we had the Season Three team backs wants humanoid animal like alien like cats, dinosaurs, shakes/fish and hamsters in Mecha, as well as John Doe’s race, space elves and winged aliens. We got the space Elves in the form of the Asterian. We got John Doe’s race in the form of the Nameless. And we got dinosaur like team from the Teraton. Now with the Rebels in DeadZone we have cats humanoid from the Yndij (well Cat/Monkey), shake/fish humanoids from the Sphyr and winged aliens in the form of the Kraaw. I hope these races will appear in DreadBall in the future seasons, as well as human mutants and cyborgs (oh and may be half breeds). On Friday we got an image of the Asterian DreadBall team, oddly they do not have helmets. With the Deadzone KickStarter, during the last week the stretch goals that we unlocked and other things being added on were: Hard plastic plague zombies will be made that are compatible with the Kings of War zombies and five were added to Striker level and above (not including terrain only levels); a Black Talon, a Cypher with Flux Rifle and two Warden with Charge Glove were added to the Asterian Faction Starters; a Brokkr with Muspell-pattern Rifle and two normal Brokkrs were added to the Forge Father Faction Starter; Faction dice for all six Factions; the special character Wrath the psychopathic Judwan free with Recon level and about (not including terrain only levels); rules for larger skirmish games (multi map and multi player), standard Solo Play, A.I. Cards and Solo Plague Zombie campaign have been added to the Deadzone Compendium; the Enforces Force Booster that contains the Heavy Weapons guy that is not in the Faction Starter, an Enforcer Medic, an Enforcer Sergeant and two Enforcers with Shotgun and Shield; the Enforcer Booster Bundle that comes with two Enforcers Force Boosters and an Enforcers Specialist Booster (an Enforcer Sniper, an Enforcer Engineer, two Sentry Drones and an Enforcer with Missile Launcher); a BOGOF deal on the Booster Bundles; acrylic counters; a four for the price of three deal on Faction Starters; backers of $400 or more (pre-survey, including postage and add ons) will get a Kickstarter Exclusive Master Resin Rebs Commander in a new pose; backers of $500 or more (pre-survey, including postage and add ons) will get a Kickstarter Exclusive Master Resin 1st Generation Plague in a new pose;
The Rebels Faction Bosster
it looks like the Enforcer Captain might come with two heads which are open and close helmet;  Recon level and above will get a free random DreadBall character for rescue missions to mark them passing the DreadBall KickStarter total (not including terrain only levels);  the Plague Force Booster that contains the 3rd Generation Plague with Grenade Launcher that is not in the Faction Starter, two man Mortar, a Plague Swarm and a Zombieton which is a Plague Teraton; the Plague Booster Bundle that comes with two Plague Force Boosters and a Plague Specialist Booster (three 2nd Generation Plague and two Plague Hounds); a Deadzone version of the Season Four DreadBall MVP Blaine which will be a different pose with Recon level and above (not including terrain only levels); the Rebs Faction Booster that contains the Kraaw that is not in the Faction Starter, a Judwan medic, two Zees Scavengers (most likely two guys on one base) and a Sphyr and Human Missile Team; the Rebs Booster Bundle that comes with two Rebel Force Boosters and a Rebel Specialist Booster (two Survery Drones, a Teraton Brawer, a Grogan with Desolator and a Grogan with Onslaught Cannon); the Marauder Faction Booster that contains the Hulk that was not in the Faction Starter, Goblin Weapon Team, an assault Orx and an Orx with flamethrower; Marauder Booster Bundle that comes with two Marauder Force Boosters and a Marauder Specialist Booster (two Ripper Suits, two Mawbeasts and a Goblin Sniper); two more scenarios to the Nexus Psi Digital Campaign making it eight scenarios long; the Nameless Mercenary Codename Oberon added to Recon level and above (not including terrain only levels);
Sergeant Howlett. Iron Man or Wolverine
the Asterian Faction Booster that contains a close combat Cypher Prime with Starstrike Gauntlet, one Cypher with Missile Launcher, one Drone Swarm and one Grav Bike; the Asterian Booster Bundle that comes with two Asterian Force Boosters and an Asterian Specialist Booster (two weapon/shield drone, a Cypher with Charge Glove, a Cypher with Flux Rifle and a Cypher with Fission Beamer); the Forge Fathers Faction Booster that contains a Chief Brokkr, a Brokkr Demolition Team, a Valkyr and a Forge Guard with Missile Launcher; the Forge Fathers Booster Bundle that comes with two Forge Fathers Force Boosters and a Forge Fathers Specialist Booster (a Mining laser with crewman, two Forge Guard with Hailstorm Rifle and a Brokkr with Mussel Cannon); the character Freya the Forge Father Smuggler; Resin Loot Counters; the character Nem-Rath the Asterian Observer; an event ticket or web chat with Jake and Ronnie for all backers; the Plague character Kish; two more core world Scenery Sprues were add to Strike level making it basically two BattleZone in the set; backers at $750 and above will got Deadzone Collector's Edition Book signed for free; the Enforcer character Sergeant Howlett (a Wolverine/Iron Man cross); Deadzone Plague and Corporation Striders (basically the DreadBall Macha with a gun); a Rebel Yndij Hunter character Eddak P’mera; the Forge Father character Bjarg Starnafall; a Marauder Stuntbot; individual Accessory Sprue add on; one Enforcer with Heavy Rifle added to the Enforcer Faction Starter; one Plague 3rd Generation added to the Plague Faction Starter; one Rebels Human Trooper added to the Rebs Faction Starter; the Marauder character Chief Radgrad; a bundle deal with Nem-Rath, Kish, Sergeant Howlett, Eddak P’mera, Bjarg Starnafall and Chief Radgrad; Defense Line Upgrade Scenery Sprue to the Fortifications Battlezones; Female Enforcer Pathfinder with Sniper Rifle on Foot and on Bike; the Hobgoblin character Boomer; and the Urban Pattern Iron Ancestor. Note there was no each figure to the Marauder Faction Starter. We did not quite make it to Hard Plastic Enforcers in Peacekeeper Armour, but so long as Mantic can make the remainder of the goal up via Paypal after the first survey, they will still honour the set. Deadzone managed to make $1,216,482 and got 4,306 backers. This makes Deadzone Mantic’s biggest KickStarter so for, it has ever better Mantic’s previous KickStarters all added together in money made: Kings of War ($354,997 and 1,568 backers), DreadBall ($728,985 and 2,539 backers) and Loka ($104,172 and 745 backers). We sadly never got vehicles for the Rebels unless the Corporation Striders can be used by them. At the end I went for Scout level choosing Rebels, a Rebel force bundle, both KickStarter Exclusive mercenaries and Sergeant Howlett. Deadzone manage to do the have the same buzz fell as Robotech RPG Tactics did which I was thinking it would not, in face I think we unlocked more for Deadzone in the last seven days then the last eight and a bit day of Robotech.

Next is Crooked Dice Games news. The three time lost travellers: Eliza (Victorian Samurai), Sachs (a mutated manservant), Genevieve (a martial maid) and the alternate Saurian and Toad-face heads for Eliza and Sachs have been added to their store for £4 each of £11 for all three. Also the Deal of the Month for June is a bundle pack of Tweedy Mattison, WPC May, Daisy Taylor, Casual May, Action Melody and Wiliam Killan for just £15. Normally to get them is two figure set would cost you £22.50 (£7.50 a pack). So the deal is basically three for the price of two. Good for Doctor Who fan who do not already have them. Sadly I brought them about thirteen months ago at last year’s Campaign. Also June’s newsletter has came out with greens of the four FedSec Support figures that will come out next month, news of The Argonauts Programme Guide that should be out later this month (finally, YES! YES! YES!) and that an add on book to 7th Voyage called The Labours of Herakles is in the works.

There was no Robotech RPG Tactics news this week.

Next is OVA KickStarter news. During the week the stretch goals that we unlocked and other things being added on were: Backers of the Bounty Hunter level and above can now buy additional copies of the paperback version of the main rule book; all backers will gain a special bonus PDF that will include material for playing characters from Seven Seas’ manga, including Vampire Cheerleaders and Paranormal Mystery Squad!; backers of Bounty Hunter level and above can add packs of three dice, each dice in the pack has a different OVA character face on it; and Miho will personally pack the deliveries and will slip in a custom die with her face on it to all backers of Bounty Hunter level and above. Also the active stretch goals for the OVA KickStarter when I went to bed on Sunday night were: Nothing sadly.

Next is the Mekton Zero KickStarter news. During the week the stretch goals that we unlocked were and other things being added on: All backers at Ace level and above will now get five Mauler and five Vector minis instead of one of each. Also the active stretch goals for the Mekton Zero KickStarter when I went to bed on Sunday night were: All backers at Citizen level and above will get the PDF of “Metal Armour Warrior Mekton Zero: Episode One - The Shadow of War” at $30,000.

Now for what AJ Lee has been up to this past week.  Oh BEEP! It Monday the 3rd of June and I have not even started this. Facepalm. I blame Mantic and One Piece for that. This will be another Massive blog post again as it is taking up five pages on my word processor before pictures. Ok best get onto writing about her holy Geek Goddess. First off last week’s Raw AJ was supporting Big E Langston in a third match ageist Alberto Del Rio. AJ tried to help Big E by pulls off the top turnbuckle, but sadly ended up costing Big E the match. Big E was in a tag team match on Main Event as well but it looks like there was no AJ at his side so I do not know the result of the match.

On Smackdown AJ was supporting Big E in a fourth match ageist Del Rio. Five matches (including the tag team, but not including House Show) in the space of two weeks is getting stupid. AJ tried to help Big E by clawing pulls Del Rio’s eyes out when the refs back was turned and this time it worked and Big E won. So the odds are 50/50 between Del Rio and Big E. Also it looks like Dolph Ziggler will be back this week as well as one of AJ’s ex-boyfriends, CM Punk.

I will try to talk about the Triple H stuff and the John Cena stuff from Extreme Rules and onwards next week as this post is already massive and I do not have the time at the moment to write about them.
