Welcome to
the MK HeroClix post. This is a weekly post with HeroClix news and results of
Thursday's HeroClix game at MK Wargames Society at York House. This week there
were previews Slate from Bioshock Infinity; and Legion, the New Mutants team
dial, Mirage, Sunspot, Magik, Warlock, Lady Deathstrike, Cannonball, Wolfsbane
and Magma from Marvel Wolverine and the X-Men. Also appearing on HCRealms unit
section are Gipsy Danger and the bystander tokens Fighter Jet, Battleship and
Military Tank from Pacific Rim.
This week
was the start of a special tournament that Darren is running. He will bring
four 600 point team each week for eight weeks (round one). One DC heroes, one
DC villains, one Marvel heroes and one Marvel villains. All teams are classed
as Named themed even if it is not. We will each take it in turns using the
team. The top two teams of each week will move on to the next round. This

On the first
round I was up against Darren. I was using the “Masters and Minions” team while
Darren was using the “Defenders” team. Defenders kicked Doom’s and Kang’s
butts. Also the Legion beat the Syndicate. On the second round I was up against
Adrian. I was using the “Crime Syndicate” team while Adrian was using the “Masters
and Minions”. It ended close in points with Doom and Kang winning, however if
it was not for time being called they would have done more damage. Also the
Legion beat the Defenders. On the third and final round I was up against
Michael. I was using the “The Legion of
Superheroes” team while Michael was using the “Masters and Minions” team. The
Legion snipped out Doom, but they had major problems with Kang bouncing damage
until Brainiac 5 moved in to use Outwit. Legion won the game and this group in
the tournament. Also the Syndicate beat the Defenders. The other team that went
into the next round was the “Crime Syndicate”.
Next week
should be the second week of the tournament. Sorry I cannot remember what the
teams are.
