Welcome to
the MK HeroClix post. This is a weekly post with HeroClix news and results of
Thursday's HeroClix game at MK Wargames Society at York House. This week there
were previews Cyber from Marvel Wolverine and the X-Men; and The Dynamic Duo
from the just revealed DC Batman Classic TV. Also revealed this week there will
be a DC Man of Steel TabApp Elite two figure set with Superman and a fully
armoured General Zod and on HCRealms unit section rest of the Pacific Rim and
Havok, Jean Gret and Lady Deathstrike from the Gravity Feed for Marvel
Wolverine and the X-Men.
This week
was the second week of the special tournament that Darren is running. He will
bring four 600 point team each week for eight weeks (round one). One DC heroes,
one DC villains, one Marvel heroes and one Marvel villains. All teams are
classed as Named themed even if it is not. We will each take it in turns using
the team. The top two teams of each week will move on to the next round. This

On the first
round I was up against Darren. I was using the “Justice League International”
team while Darren was using the “M.O.D.O.K.'s 11” team. Like normal Darren won
that game. Also the “X-Men” beat the “Secret Six”. On the second round I was up
against Michael. I was using the “Secret Six” team while Michael was using the
“Justice League International”. I creamed his whole force and I only lost poor
old Deadshot. Also “M.O.D.O.K.'s 11” beat the “X-Men”. On the third and final
round I was up against Adrian. I was
using the “M.O.D.O.K.'s 11” team while Michael was using the “Secret Six” team.
Secret Six was in the lead for most of the game, up until Lex got taken down by
Puma which pushed the game to MODOK’s favour and then vectory. Also the “X-Men”
beat “Justice League International”. The two teams that are joining “Legion of
Superheroes” and “Crime Syndicate” into the next round are the “X-Men” and “M.O.D.O.K.'s
11”.
Next week
should be the third week of round one of the tournament, next week’s teams will
be “New Warriors”, “From Russia with Love”, “Sinestro Corps” and “Justice
Society”.
