Neoscream's Life: 22nd to 28th of July 2013

PMX-001 Palace Athene
Welcome to the Neoscream's Life post. This is a weekly post of some of the things I have done last week and news on stuff from Crooked Dice Games, Mantic Game, Robotech RPG Tactics, Mekton and the Geek Goddess AJ Lee.

On Monday last week was the second week of the Warmachine/Hordes Journeyman League. I had my Convergence of Cyriss now and all painted up. That was one medium sized based Warcaster, two Heavy Vectors and two Light Vectors, which makes a total twelve hobby points gain. Sweet. My 15 points force was:

Forge Master Syntherion -6 (to Warjacks)
Cipher Heavy Vector 9
Inverter Heavy Vector 8
Mitigator Light Vector 4
=15 points

In the first game I was up against Joseph Mead. He was using a Retribution of Scyrah force. His force (I think) was:

Kaelyssa, Night's Whisper -7 (to Warjacks)
Hydra Heavy Myrmidon 9
Eiryss, Mage Hunter of Ios 3
Mage Hunter Strikeforce (Leader and 9) 8
Mage Hunter Commander 2
=15 points

Never warcaster were killed, I lost my Mitigator while Joseph lost his Solo, Unit Attachment and a large chunk of his unit. This won me the game. Sweet, my first victory. The next game I was up against Dave Bartley. He was using a Legion of Everblight force which was (at a guess):

Lylyth, Herald of Everblight -6 (to Warbeasts)
Angelius Heavy Warbeast 9
Blighted Nyss Sorceress and Hellion 4
Blighted Nyss Archers (Leader and 9) 8
=15 points

Never warcaster was killed, but if time was not called I would have lost my warcaster. I took out one of his war beasts and most of his unit while I lost nothing. If it was not for Auto-Repair I would have last my Inverter. So a second win. Sweet. Two wins, one draw and one lost for me so far. With just the Hobby Points alone I am at first place in the league. Wow I am winning. The third week will happen on the 5th of August and it will be 25 points. Oh and the statement from last week. I prey to the Geek Goddess, AJ Lee, for victory and my Convergence of Cyriss won both their games. They worship Cyriss the Machine Goddess. Geeks and technology goes together. So Geek god is related to Machine god which must mean AJ Lee=Cyriss. (People who follow me on Twitter might have read this already.)

The Basilean from Kings of War
Oh with the washing machine the engineer came on Thursday and replaced the drum. He also replaced the rubber seal and the machine is still working fine. Finally.

Next is the Mantic news. A ton of images of the new human army for Kings of War, The Basilean, have been posted and there are finally up for pre-order.

Now for the Robotech RPG Tactics. A preview image of the Glaug-Eldare has been posted. There will also be Max and Miriya Valkyries, but they will be Gen Con exclusive and unavailable to the KickStarters (unless they go to Gen Com and buy them there) sadly. So no Max and Miriya Valkyries for me sadly.

Next is the Warmachne and Hordes news. An image o the Convergence of Cyriss counters have been revealed as well as a CGI image of the Protectorate of Menoth Journeyman Warcaster Initiate Tristan Durant. Also we have unlocked on the Warmachine: Tactics KickStarter before I went to bed on Sunday were: the PDF maps as a $10 add-on, a single-player mission pack called “Fire and Ice”, Steelhead Halberdier mercenary unit for the computer game, Steelhead Riflemen mercenary unit for the computer game, another canvas print Add-on called “Black Heart” for $350 and the Mercenary characters Jarok Croe and Cutthroat for the computer game. Known stretch goal still to go are: the four Warcasters of Apotheosis plus a mystery bonus feature at $1,174,000; single player Onslaught mode, co-op player and single player mission pack called “Dark Seduction” at $1,299,000; Magnus the Traitor’s Battlegroup and Mercenaries as a playable faction at $1,354,000; Retribution of Scyrah as a playable faction at $1,509,000; and the Mercenary Warcaster Ashlyn D’Elyse and her battlegroup at $1,769,000.

There was now Crooked Dice Games news. Also due to the fact of a lack of news with these KickStarter funded games, I will be dropping both OVA and Mekton Zero from the weekly gaming news section. Instead I will be only bring them up with big news like they are shipping or they have arrived. This will go for all KickStarter stuff I have backed that is not a miniatures game.

Now for what AJ Lee has been up to this past week. On Raw this week AJ had Big E Langston attack her ex, Dolph Ziggler. Sadly the worm was too quick and he ran away like the rat he is.

On Smackdown came out to the ring with Big E. She wanted to make it clear that everything was fine while in fact she was pulling a brave face. She wanted to give Dolph back his house keys and to let world now that she could have break in and burn everything to the ground, but did not. Dolph came out and said he had changed to locks several time since they split. AJ asked Big to hand her a suitcase they brought out. Dolph’s suitcase. AJ pulled out Dolph’s wallet and started destroying his Driver’s Licence, Card and Passport as well as throwing his money away, but Dolph did not care. AJ starts throwing Dolph’s clothes around the ring. Big E tries to calm her down but AJ pushed him away. Then out of nowhere “HULK SMASH” Kaitlyn speared AJ. Beep! Beep! Beep! That bitch Kaitlyn dare attack our Goddess. I hope her friends back stab her so she knows how AJ feels. Oh and then the rat Dolph attacked Big E when he tried to help AJ.
