Welcome all to the last post of the month. Now you might have noticed that yesterdays Neoscream's Life post did not state "Maybe a" in front of today Cosplay Deviants. The is because when I spotted the preview for this set on Saturday I know that I would be doing a preview post of it. Tenten is my second favourite female Naruto character, Hinata being my favourite. This set was great and the new Deviant, KittyStar is hot (not as hot as Jsica). If you have not worked it out yet, this is KittyStar's first set. In it she cosplays as Tenten from Naruto. The set is a four page set which is quite large for most sets a is very reviling. After a quick check on the forums of Cosplay Deviants, I found out that she has three more sets that have be accepted, five more being shot (maybe finished by now with more) and she knows the awesome Jsica. She has stated that she and Jsica are thinking on doing some sets together as they have done some modeling together in the past. Will love to see these sets. Also specking on Jsica, this Saturday's post well be a set from her, however I most likely will not be doing a post of it until Sunday and I will most likely be out on Saturday which I forgot about when writing the list of posts for this week on yesterdays Neoscream's Life post. This is a FANTASTIC week on Cosplay Deviants. As a bonus here is a DreamClix dial idea post for Tenten:
Tenten is the only female member of Team Guy, and longs to prove that a female ninja can be just as skilled as a male ninja. Of all the Naruto protagonists, Tenten receives the least amount of screen time, such that her only fight in Part I of the manga is almost entirely skipped; the battle's start and her eventual defeat are the only portions shown. In battle, Tenten specializes in weaponry, ranging from projectiles to close-combat weapons and even explosives by the second part of the series. During a fight she uses the hundreds of weapons kept stored in scrolls she carries with her to bombard opponents with pinpoint accuracy. Tenten uses this expertise to help Neji Hyuga train his defensive techniques, and she holds him in high regard since he can always block her attacks. She should have a trait called "I've got your Back", Stealth, Flurry, Incapacitate, Smoke Cloud, Combat Reflexes, Range Combat Expert and Close Combat Expert.
I've got your Back: If Tenten is adjacent to a friendly character called Neji Hyuga or Rock Lee, she gains a +1 to her Attack value and they gain a +1 to their Defense value.
She should have five clicks of health and starting values of Movement 8, Attack 10, Defense 17, Damage 2 and Range 4 with three targets. Her TA should be the Naruto one and her keywords should be Martial Artist, Team Guy, Kid and Konohagakure.
Well that is it for now, see you all next month.

Neoscream's Life, the 22nd to the 28th of August
Connie Sheriff |
Rouche and Mialy |
On Saturday I woke up about 6:30AM as I kept on having problematic dreams. Dreams that were not nightmares but ones I did not want to be having. For these who do not remember, there is this girl who works for Starbucks who I really like. However I learned be search Facebook for her that she was already in a relationship, one that has been going on several years. The dreams I was having were what if they split up. I am the type of person who hate seeing couples break up, the mean reason I hate soups. So I felt uneasy uncomfortable with the dreams, reguardless of where is lead, expectantly when I will most likely see her today. I spent the extra time I had doing things to get my mind off them. One of these things was listing more more stuff on eBay. Sadly they did not help. With eBay I have started listing my mum's old books which she wants to get rid of now she has a Kindle. I am selling before the Games Workshop models as they are quick and easy to list. Only Richard was at coffee this week as Darren H was suffering from a hangover and Jake was on holiday. Also the girl I like was work too today. Me and Richard chatted about his new job. After coffee I worked from 12PM to 4PM. Other than re-doing my items for my Dungeons and Dragons character I did not do much that is worth noting. However I still could not get those dreams out of my head.

HeroClix, the 26th of August, Fantastic Headaches
Welcome to another HeroClix post. With the news this week there were previews of Swamp Thing, Earth Man and Eradicator from the Superman set; Sgt. Johnson, ODST, Flood Infection, Infected Elite and "Master Chief and Arbiter from the Halo set; and The Comedian from the Watchmen Fast Forces box set. However we do not get a full view of Eradicator for some reason. A keyword, his trait and his bio are blurred out. Something tells is going to happen to him is the comics soon (before the release of the set) and the blurred parts would have reviled it.
I was not at HeroClix this week due to a splitting headache that I had all day. I do nor know if did happen or not. If it did happen I will post the team I was plan on next week's post. This week's post will be a DreamClix special. For this week's DreamClix I will be doing dial ideas for Yuti, Tara Brooks, Solanin and Jararl from the Blade anime; Madripool Biker from the Wolverine anime; Mary from One Piece; Jackie Chun from Dragon Ball; and Inari from Naruto. But first we have the dial designs for Takeo, Armor and Professor X from the X-Men anime; Tabane Shinonono from IS: Infinite Stratos; the Liz and Party duo from Soul Eater; Buchi from One Piece; and Tazuna from Naruto.
Next we have Yuti from the Blade anime. Yuti is the wife of Agus who was turned into a vampire. Yuti and the other villagers that where turned in vampires had the ability to stretch their limbs in a snake like manner. This figure is meant to be these vampires than just Yuti, however as they did not reveal the vampire type name, I will call then by her name for now. They should have Plasticity and a special called "Entangled".
Entangled: Yuti can use Incapacitate but only as a close combat attack. If the attack hits the target's values are reduced by one until the begin of your next turn or when this character is no longer adjacent to the target.
They should have about four clicks of health and starting values or Movement 8, Attack 9, Defense 17, Damage 3 and Range 2 with one target. They should not have a TA and there keywords should be Existence and Monster.
Next is Tara Brooks from the Blade anime. Tara Brook is the mother of Eric Brooks aka Blade. On a little bit of reading up on Blade, Marvel's profile of Blade states that his mother was never named, but everywhere else states she was called Tara. Now is the Marvel doing a crap job on their character bios or fans using the name from a none comic source like the movies or the anime. In the anime she was killed by Blade after she killed his foster mum (and her best friend) as Blades vampire powers were about to awaken. She should have Leap Climb and Hunger.
Hunger: When Tara makes a close combat attack against a character that are not on their starting click, she gains a +1 to her attack value.
She should have four clicks of health and starting values of Movement 9, Attack 9, Defense 17, Damage 3 and Range 0. She should not have a TA and her keyword should be Monster.
Next is Solanin from the Blade anime. Solanin is the manager of one of Deacon Frost's silver mines. He should have Hyper Sonic, Toughness, Super Senses, Leadership and Sharp Change. He should have about six clicks of health and starting values of Movement 10, Attack 10, Defense 18, Damage 3 and Range 0. He should not have a TA and keywords of Existence and Monster.
Next is Jararl from the Blade anime. Jararl is an arms dealer and manufacture that was selling silver weapons to Deacon Frost for his war against the Pure Bloods. Jararl wants to move up in Madripool, from Lowtown to Hightown where the Dragon Palace is. He should have a Trait called "Man in Charge", Blades, Toughness, Range Combat Expert, +3 to the Grenade Pool and Frag Grenades.
Next is Jackie Chun from Dragon Ball. When Master Roshi wanted to test his students skills and to make sure they did not get big heads from winning tournament, he entered it in a disguise as Jackie Chun. This version of Master Roshi should be heavy close combat designed. He should have Plasticity, Flurry, Incapacitate, Super Senses, Combat Reflexes, Range Combat Expert, Close Combat Expert and a special called "Martial Arts Master".
Lastly is Inari from Naruto. Inari is the grandson of Tazuna. His real father died before he got to know him, but he came to see Kaiza as a father figure. Kaiza took a fatherly role in Inari's life and even became close to Tsunami, Inari's mother and Tazuna's daughter. When Gatõ put Kaiza to death, Inari changed. He became a sad and angry boy. However Naruto snapped him out of it. Inari should have a last click of Leadership and a special called "Assistant Bridge Builder".
Well that is it for this week, until next time have fun.
Hunger: When Tara makes a close combat attack against a character that are not on their starting click, she gains a +1 to her attack value.
Solanin |
Next is Jararl from the Blade anime. Jararl is an arms dealer and manufacture that was selling silver weapons to Deacon Frost for his war against the Pure Bloods. Jararl wants to move up in Madripool, from Lowtown to Hightown where the Dragon Palace is. He should have a Trait called "Man in Charge", Blades, Toughness, Range Combat Expert, +3 to the Grenade Pool and Frag Grenades.
Man in Charge: Jararl can use Leadership and Perplex.
He should have about five clicks of health and starting values of Movement 8, Attack 10, Defense 17, Damage 2 and Range 6 with one target. He should have the Hydra TA and keywords A.I.M., Existence and Madripool.
Next we have a Madripool Biker from the Wolverine anime. Yes the Wolverine anime. After watching episode 7 of Blade were he teams up with Wolverine in Madripool I realised I could bulk out the Wolverine set a little more. There will be two new Madripool genetics. This week is Madripool Biker and next week will be Madripool Grenader which will use the new grenade rules from Gears of War and Halo HeroClix. The Madripool Bikers should have the Transporter symbol, a trait called "Ammo Run", a minion power called "Hit and Run", Toughness and a end dial Earth Bound.
Ammo Run: At the start of game all characters that add to the Grenade Pool add one extra. (Note +0 counts too).
Hit and Run: Minion - If there is a character with the Madripool keyword and a higher points cost than this figure within eight squares, Madripool Biker can use Frag Grenades and use the grenades as part of a Move and Attack action.
They should have about four or five clicks of health and starting values of Movement 12, Attack 9, Defense 16, Damage 2 and Range 6 with one target. They should not have a TA and their keywords should be Madripool and Vehicle.
Next is Merry from One Piece. Merry is Kaya's loyal servant and was the one who designed the Straw Hat's first ship the Going Merry. Merry should have a trait called "Supporter of the Straw Hats" and a special called "The Going Merry".
Supporter of the Straw Hats: If Kaya and Usopp is apart of you force Merry gains the Straw Hat Crew keyword.
The Going Merry: Merry can use Perplex. He can use only on friendly characters and if he targets Movement he can modify it by +2.
He should have three clicks of health and starting values of Movement 6, Attack 8, Defense 15, Damage 1 and Range 0. He should not have a TA and the keyword Citizen.
Martial Arts Master: One per turn, if Jackie Chun is the target a Flurry or Combat Expert attack, remove one action token from him at the end of the action.
He should have about seven clicks of health and starting values of Movement 8, Attack 10, Defense 18, Damage 3 and Range 6 with one target. His TA should be the Dragon Ball one and his keyword should be Martial Artist.
Assistant Bridge Builder: If Inari is adjacent to Tazuna, Tazuna can place three Bridge tokens instead of two when using his "Bridge Builder" ability.
He should have three clicks of health and starting values of Movement 8, Attack 7, Defense 15, Damage 1 and Range 0. He should not have a TA and his keywords should be Citizen and Kid.

HeroClix, the 18th of August, The down fall of Sinestro
Welcome to another HeroClix post. With the news this week there were previews of Lois Lane Superwoman, Lucy Lane Superwoman, Maxwell Lord and Lobo from the Superman set, as well as "Master Chife and Cortana" and two Covenant Grunts from the Halo set. On a personal note, on Saturday I picked up six Captain America Grammy Feed Boosters from HMV. The pulls were much better. I got Black Widow, Captain America, a Howling Commando, a Hydra Officer, Red Skull and a S.H.I.E.L.D. Field Agent. No doubles, sweet. Sadly no Sin which would had been nice to have pulled.
This week was the thrid and final week of Déjà vu. The figure I picked for the Déjà vu event was the Black Widow from the main Captain America set. This week is the 500 points game. I went for an Avengers team who were:
Black Widow (Captain America) 85
Thor (Thor Fast Forces) 150
Iron Man (Secret Invasion) 188
Captain America (Hammer of Thor) 72 + Inside Information (Feat) 4 = 76
=499 points and four re-rolls.
On the first round I was up against Darren. He was use a Thunderbolts team who were:
Luke Cage (Captain America) 98 + Thunderbolts (ATA) 8 + Inside Information (Feat) 4 = 110
Bullseye (Web of Spider-Man) 117 + Thunderbolts (ATA) 8 = 125
Moonstone (Hammer of Thor) 76 + Thunderbolts (ATA) 8 = 84
Venom (Hammer of Thor) 73 + Thunderbolts (ATA) 8 = 81
Songbird (Fantastic Forces) 44 + Thunderbolts (ATA) 8 = 52
Doctor Octopus (Rookie Ultimates) 39 + Thunderbolts (ATA) 8 = 47
=499 points and four re-rolls.
Darren creamed my team. Luckily I did manage to KO both Venom and Doctor Octopus. On the second round I was up against Michael. He was use a Martial Artist team who were:
Elektra (Human Secret Invasion) 80
Nightcrawler (Web of Spider-Man) 86
Mandarin (Veteran Universe) 141
=494 points and two re-rolls.
At first it was a nightmare, Elektra kept on passing her Super Senses rolls and Nightcrawler kept passing his Shape Change rolls. However I finally managed to damage them and took down his whole team only losing Black Widow. On the third and final round I was up against Adrian. He was use a Sinestro Corps team who were:
Lyssa Drak (Arkham Asylum) 72
Amon Sur (Arkham Asylum) 70
Arkillo (Arkham Asylum) 126
Scarecrow (Blackest Night) 85
Sinestro (Crisis) 146
=499 points and four re-rolls.
This was a long game. I placed my team were he could not see them so he would have to come to me. It was a a tough battle as everyone know this Sinestro Corps team was a tough team to beat due to the amount of Perplex on it. However when time was called I had KOed Arkillo and heavy wounded both Sinestro and Amon Sur, while he had only wounded Iron Man. Things might have been different if he managed to hit Captain America with Arkillo's Flurry. Over all this week I won two out of the three games this week. With the over all in Déjà vu event I got second place with three while Darren was in first place with nine straight wins.
Next week will be the first game of In Honour Of events. This one is In Honour Of Adrian. 400 points, four characters (no more, no less), have of the team must have the Fantastic Four TA or keyword, no ATAs.
For this week's DreamClix I will be doing dial ideas for Manananggal and Agus from the Blade anime; Kaname Ohgi from Code Geass; Linna Yamazaki from Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 and Ranfan from Dragon Ball. But first we have the dial designs for Mastermind and Professor Yui Sasaki from the X-Men anime; Needle Mog from CosmicBreak; Shuichi Aizawa from Death Note and C.C. from Code Geass.
Next we have Manananggal from the Blade anime. It was a large monstrous vampire that Deacon Frost freed. It is able to slip into two. To do this in game form I will use the re-moveable pieces rule from the Captain America set. It should have a trait called "Separate", the Flight symbol, the Giant symbol, Super Strength and Toughness.
Separate: Manananggal begins the game with "Manananggal's Legs" attached. While "Manananggal's Legs" is attached Manananggal can use Regeneration but it has the Boot symbol instead of the Flight symbol. If "Manananggal's Legs" are is you deployment zone, Manananggal can use Charge. When "Manananggal's Legs" is KOed, reattach them to Manananggal. When Manananggal is KOed, remove "Manananggal's Legs" from the map.
Manananggal's Legs: Movement 6, Attack 8, Defence 18 with Toughness, Damage 2 and Range 0.
It should have about seven clicks of health and starting values of Movement 8, Attack 10, Defense 18, Damage 3 and Range 0. It should not have a TA and its keyword should be Monster.
Next is Agus from the Blade anime. He was a village shaman who believed he could turn vampires back to humans with his villages holy water, however sadly he was wrong. Before could turn into a vampire after being bitten, he was able to turn the holy water into a weapon against vampires which led to his death. He should have Outwit, Support and a last click special called "Holy Water".
Next is Kaname Ohgi from Code Geass. Ohgi is was the leader of a Japanese resistance cell, which he took over after the death of his best friend Naoto, Kallen's older brother. Having formerly been a teacher, he admits that being a leader is not his strong point. When Zero decided that he needed his own personal army and choose Ohgi's group to be it. Ohgi was made the second in command of the Black Knights. He should have a second click Leadership and some Perplex. He should have four clicks of health and starting values of Movement 8, Attack 8, Defense 17, Damage 1 and Range 4 with one target. His TA should be the Black Knights one and he should have the keyword Black Knights.
Next is Linna Yamazaki from Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. Linna was a farm girl who traveled to Megatokyo to become a Knight Saber and to get away from her overbearing family. An office lady for the Hugh-Geit Corporation, she is constantly harassed by her bosses but continues to be a positive, friendly and outgoing person who dreams of helping others. After joining the Knight Sabers, she forms a close sisterly relationship with Nene. She should have the "Hard Suit" trait, Hypersonic, Charge, "Cutter Ribbons", Invulnerability, Toughness and Exploit Weakness.
She should have six clicks of health and starting values of Movement 12, Attack 9 (but goes up to 10), Defense 18, Damage 3 and Range 4 with two targets. Her TA should be the Knight Sabers one and her keywords should be Knight Sabers and Armour.
Lastly this week we have Ranfan from Dragon Ball. Ranfan is a competitor in the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament who uses her looks and guise that she is a "defenseless" woman as a weapon. For example, she shrieks when someone is about to hit her, causing them to pause, and in that time will deliver a crushing inch or kick. If that technique fails, then she strips to her underwear and tries to shock or embarrass her opponent. One of her more powerful attacks includes using air friction to heat her fist to deliver extra damage. She should have Plasticity, two specials called "Defenseless" and "Underwear" and Close Combat Expert.
She should have five clicks of health and starting values of Movement 7, Attack 9, Defense 19, Damage 2 and Range 0. She should not have a TA and her keyword should be Martial Artist.
Thor (Thor Fast Forces) 150
Iron Man (Secret Invasion) 188
Captain America (Hammer of Thor) 72 + Inside Information (Feat) 4 = 76
=499 points and four re-rolls.
Bullseye (Web of Spider-Man) 117 + Thunderbolts (ATA) 8 = 125
Moonstone (Hammer of Thor) 76 + Thunderbolts (ATA) 8 = 84
Venom (Hammer of Thor) 73 + Thunderbolts (ATA) 8 = 81
Songbird (Fantastic Forces) 44 + Thunderbolts (ATA) 8 = 52
Doctor Octopus (Rookie Ultimates) 39 + Thunderbolts (ATA) 8 = 47
=499 points and four re-rolls.
Power Man and Iron Fist (Secret Invasion) 136
Tarantula (Secret Invasion) 51Nightcrawler (Web of Spider-Man) 86
Mandarin (Veteran Universe) 141
=494 points and two re-rolls.
Amon Sur (Arkham Asylum) 70
Arkillo (Arkham Asylum) 126
Scarecrow (Blackest Night) 85
Sinestro (Crisis) 146
=499 points and four re-rolls.
