Gaming News from Neoscream: 28th August 2015

Welcome to the “Gaming News from Neoscream”. This is my weekly gaming news post for miniature games, RPGs, some card games, my painting and upcoming local events.

“Gaming News”

First off we have the HeroClix news. We got previews of: Hulk Buster Mark II, U.S. Agent, Man-Liller, Hydra Annihil-Agent, Hydra Field Agent and Imperial Hydra from Marvel Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D..

Now for the Mantic news. They are currently halfway into shipping wave one of Kings of War and wave two should be shipping late November/early December.
With Deadzone this week we got renders of Hund the Bounty Hunter/Rin Nomad.

Next is the Wyrd Games news. This Monday we got a look at renders of two upcoming Dead Doxy models.

Now for the Privateer Press news. This week saw the release of: The Cygnar Cavalry Unit Storm Lances; the Khador Epic Warcaster Unit Obavnik Kommander Zerkova with Reaver Guard; the Extreme Trollblood Heavy Warbeast Dire Troll Mauler; and “Rapid Engagement” a High Command two-Player Starter.

Next is the Bushiroad news (now including Weiß Schwar). For Cardfight Vanguard today sees the release of G Booster Set Four “Soul Strike Against The Supreme” in the Japanese version and G Clan Booster One “Academy of Divas” in the English version. They also reviled that the second G Clan Booster will be “Commander of the Consecutive Wave”. The clan it will focus on will be Aqua Force and it will introduce a new keyword “Wave”. I have no clue on what it does at the moment. It will be released in Japan on the 23rd of October. Sadly there is no English version date at the moment, but at a guess it will most likely be in December.
With Weiß Schwar, Friday last week saw the release of both the Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works Trial Deck and Booster set. I have picked up the Trial Deck and a couple of boosters to possible get into the game.

Now for the Crooked Dice Games news. They have added the Otherworld Fantasy Skirmish rulebook, cards and tokens to their web store. Otherworld Fantasy Skirmish is owned by another company however Crooked Dice Games are the people that will be selling it.

Next is the Ninja Division news. With Robotech RPG Tactics this week they are still hard at work with wave two. It should be shipping fourth quarter of 2015 or the first quarter of 2016. But we did get images of all or most of the renders of wave two.

Now for the Home Raiders news. There is now a survey for backers.

Next is the Modiphius news. They have posted up a survey for their up and coming KickStarter for a RPG for Corvus Belli’s Infinity, to help get feedback for Stretch Goals and Pledge Levels before they start it.

Now for the Cool Mini or Not news. With Zombicide Black Plauge this week we got a PDF rulebook of Wulfsburg and final images of all of the Black Plague box set figures.

Next is the Cryptozoic Entertainment news. With the Ghostbusters the board game this week they have done a un-boxing of the content of the main game. They also revealed that Cathulhu will be shorter than planned, this is because he is quite wide and would be a problem in game play if they kept the promised hight. However he is still a MASSIVE monster.

Now for the Yashima: Legend of the Kami Master news. The cards for the Dragon Tides crossover master, Bruce Lee, was meant to be given to backers of both Yashima and Dragon Tides who backed both KickStarts at $100 (Update 31). However they have reviled this week that they were added to the Fairy Tale Promo 3 Pack add-on, long after the Pledge Manager has been close and wave one (for those who paid to split shipment) has shipped which Fairy Tale Promo 3 Pack was part of. I am pissed off with this as if I had backed is at $100 (sadly I have a feeling I have not backed it enough) I would now not be getting the cards. Yet another KickStarter changing their mind and not reviling it until after they start shipping (I am looking at you Guild Ball and Mantic).

Next is the Guild Ball news. This week we got an image of the first player from the new Hunter’s Guild that is coming in Season Two. The player is called Egret and she looks fantastic.

Now for the Megacon Games news. The Plegde Manager for Myth Journeyman is now open.

Next is the Kingdom Death news. For those who do not know, Kingdom Death Monster is being split into three waves now due to the sheer size of it. The first wave is all the extra add-ons that are not expansions or extra armour set. This wave might be USA warehouse only shipment. Wave two is the Survivor level stuff which should hopefully ship in October 2015 and the third wave should be the expansions or extra armour set which should ship before Christmas.

Lastly there is the Knight Miniatures news. They have just released a shit ton of new models on their web store. For their Batman Miniatures game there is: The Riddler and his Bot Army; Hugo Strange and the Arkham Asylum Inmates; Harley Quinn’s Thugs set one; Riddler’s Bot Army set one; the Red Hood; Azrael; and The Bat Signal. They also release a 35mm scale Rocket Raccoon.
