Next is the Wyrd Games news. This Monday's preview was of the renders of the Fermenter River Monk minions for Ten Thunders.
Now for the Cool Mini or Not news. The Arcadia Quest Inferno KickStarter is still going externally well. In fact they have beaten what the first KickStarter did and now they are on uncharted teruatry . Since the last post they have managed to unlock: The KickStarter exclusive heroes of Master Pim and the good version of Vexia from Pets; the expansion Chaos Dragon with the KickStarter exclusive hero Nina as an add-on; the KickStarter exclusive pets Bones and Gadget; a second Pet Pack add-on that contains three new pets; the Whole Lotta Lava KickStarter exclusive expansion which includes rules, two Hellcat monsters, Ignos monster and the previously unlock Fallen Agel; the heroes Anvil and Valma as an add-on; the KickStarter exclusive Poison Dragon; the heroes Yona and Kuruk as an add-on; and a Plastic Token Pack with Exploration, Door, Portal and Spawn tokens.
The stretch goals that are still going as I post this are: A Game Tile and tokens to go with the Poison Dragon at $1,075k; and cards and a box to finish off the KickStarter exclusive Poison Dragon expansion at $870.
This Kickstarter will be ended Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Let us see which they can unlock between now and then.
On other Cool Mini or Not news, Zombicide Black Plague has started shipping to backers.
Next is the Hawk Wargame news. Their KickStarter for Dropfleet Commander has just finished making £629,222 with 3,918 backers. Since last week they have managed to unlock: UCMF Admiral, UCM Faction, Scourge Faction, PHR Faction, Shaltari Faction and a KickStarter exclusive DFC t-shirts as an add-ons; digital screensaver; Civilian Cruise Liner was added to the Captain level pledge and above; Eden Prime Map Pack as an add-on; Resin Deluxe Cluster pack as an add-on; Dropfleet Commander poster as an add-on; a free Frigate Sprue of each race was added to all level pledges at; a UCM Dog Tag will be added to all level pledges; Resin Scourge Scenery set as an add-on; a KickStarter exclusive 2-Up PHR Cruiser as an add-on; a Hawk pin was added to the Captain level pledge and above; and a set of Activation Card was added to the Captain level pledge and above.
Now for the KickStarter "Warbears and Stagriders, Fantasy Wargames Miniatures" news. The KickStarter has finished now and they have managed to make £7,015 with 209 backer. Sadly they did not unlocked the Sorceress on a tiger.
Next is the Demigods news. The resin figures for Evolution (their second KickStarter) and rules parts for the Demigods game are almost done, which means Demigods Evolution will ship soon. However the plastics for Rising (their first KickStarter) has been delayed and will most likely ship July 2016 or later now. This is due to a bunch (or a lot) of people who only backed Demigods Rising complaining about being treated as "Second class citizens" as they were not getting the new sculpts from Evolution. WTF! The Evolution backers paid at least twice the cost for a hell of a lot less figures so they could have the new sculpts and to get their figures in resin. Anyway they have decided to change the plastic to the new sculpts and sadly this has pushed should take them to July 2016 and now the Demigods Evolution backers will get their stuff before the Demigods Rising ones. This massive delay and the fact that Evolution will ship before Rising has really pissed me off. I am a backer of Rising and I never upgraded to Evolution. I hated that fact that it would cost me a ton more for less, but I had no problems with getting the old stuff. It was my decision not to upgrade. It is nice to get the new sculpts, but I would FAR prefer to get then before or at least when the Evolution stuff ships, not over half a year after the Evolution.
