Welcome to “Gaming with Neoscream”. This is my
weekly gaming post for miniature games, non-computer RPGs and some card games. Due to other things that my mean Tuesday's "Neoscream's Life post will be HUGE in the "AJ and the WWE" section (major moan about the Slammys, and studying, I may have forgot/missed some news bits. Sorry if I did.
Gaming News
First off is the Mantic news. Planning for DreadBall
Extreme is under way and there are rumours of a KickStarter for it and other
future DreadBall expansions. DreadBall backer can now download updated versions of the Season Three rulebook and the Creation of book that have fixed some errors in
the books and reference sheets.
Deadzone backers can now download the Mercenaries cards

Past Events
On Monday I popped into Wargames Workshop MK to
watch some game of Deadzone (as I am getting stuff from Kickstarter) and
Dropzone Commander (for research for Mecha Knight). Sadly I got the wrong
Monday for Deadzone. However, Carl (the store manager) arranged a game of
Warmachine/Hordes with a new player, but Carl was feeling sick and did not feel
up to a game. So he asked me to take his place and use one of the store forces
as I did not have my stuff with me. I ended up with a Protectorate of Menoth
force (as the store did not have Convergence of Cyriss and that I have some Menoth
in the past) and my opponent had a Legion of Everblight force. Sadly I lost the
game but it was close than most. Sadly due to time, I have not wrote up the
army I used. I got a chance afterwards to see a bit of Dropzone Commanded. It
was OK, but I do not see myself playing it any time soon or using any rules ideas
in Mecha Knight.
