Welcome to “Gaming News from Neoscream”. This is my
weekly gaming news post for miniature games, RPGs, some card games and computer
games.
“Gaming News”
First of is the Dragon Tides KickStarter. Since last
week they have managed to unlocked: Four foil Character Combo Cards added to
all tier levels (with physical rewards); a prequel storyline for Viktoria with
a double-side location board and tokens added to all tier levels (with physical
rewards); the character Muscles Hawk (Jackie Chan) was added to Jade Dragon
level and above; the Level 99 Games character Cherri Senca as an add-on; a set
of extra map boards as an add-on; and a new Expansion set as an add-on called “The
Internal Affairs” it comes with the characters Lady Yo, Phoenix Lim and Oscar
Khan.
Now as the game has finally be funded, here are the
stretch goals that are still going: A prequel storyline for Luke Elba with a
double-side location board and tokens will be added to all levels as well as
the Soda Pop Miniatures character Candy Kunoichi as an add-on at $65k; the
character Lion Sloane will be added to Jade Dragon level and above at $70k; the
Greater Than Than Games character The Operative as an add-on at $75k; the
characters Colt Booker will be added to Jade Dragon level and above at $80k; the
Marrow Production (Journey: Wrath of Daemons) character Zhi Lan as an add-on at
$85k; and the character Casey Storm will be added to Jade Dragon level at $90k.
Yes there was a major change around here.
Next is the new version Paranoia news. Over the week
they managed to unlock: Nothing, but they have added more add-ons and all
levels now have the PDF version of the pledge.
The Stretch Goals that still going on: The Secret
Society expansion deck at £120k.

Now for the
Mantic news. They will be starting a new KickStarter next week. It will be the
second Kings of War KickStarter. This will be to fund the second edition of the
Kings of War rulebook which will include ALL the army lists, several new units,
updated rules and a ton more background. They are also trying to fund for at
least a new army.
Next is the Wireless Power Board Game Terrain and
Miniature Lighting KickStarter. Sadly it is still being funded, however they
have added a bunch of new backer levels and add-ons.

Now for the Crooked Dice Games news. They have
released their November releases during the weekend. It was a new starter set
based on the Australian TV show "Danger Five". In fact it is an
official licence product and not the standard "NOT" they normally do.
There is also a mini sale that ends today.
Next is the
Kingdom Death news. Friday night/Saturday morning sure a bunch of new stuff
added to the store. These were: a male, a female and a female Pinup Visionary;
and a Halloween Special Pinup Twilight Knight. The Halloween Special Pinup
Twilight Knight was only on sell during the Halloween weekend and most of the
new stuff are sold out now apart from the male Visionary. The stuff left in the
store as I post this were: The male Visionary, the female Great Game Hunter,
the Pinup White Speaker, the 54mm Pinup Preacher, the Great Game Hunter Rogue,
the Adult Sunstalker, the People of the Sun set, the Pinups of Death Hard
Plastic Collection set.

I have not
yet brought any of the new stuff, but I am heavily tempted to get the male Visionary,
but I will wait until numbers dump a lot more or until Black Friday as I have a
feeling that there will be some deals happening then.
Now for the Privateer Press news. This week we got a
break down of the releases of November, a list of what is coming in January
2015 and a bunch of previews of up and coming stuff.
First off, the November releases. There will only be
one release date the month which will be the 19th. These will Skorne
Epic Cavalry Battle Engine Warlock Xerxis the Fury of Halaak, the Minion Farrow
Warlock Helga the Conquerer and issue 57 of No Quarter magazine. As well as the
re-release of the ten Flameguard Cleansers Protectorate Unit, the fifteen man Blackbane's
Ghost Raiders Cryx Character Unit, the six Strider Blightblades Legion Blighted
Nyss Unit, the six man Strider Rangers Legion Blighted Nyss Unit, the ten man Praetorian
Keltarii Skorne Unit and the ten man Praetorian Swordsmen Skorne Unit.
Next is the January 2015 releases. January will see
the release of the Blight Wasps Legion Warbeast Pack, the Zuriel Legion
Character Nephilim Heavy Warbeast, new Area of Effect Ring Markers for both
Warmachine and Hordes and issue 58 of No Quarter magazine. We also getting the
re-release of the Kriel Warriors Trollblood Trollkin Unit (now with three
Weapon Attachments) and the Farrow Bone Grinders Minion Farrow Unit.

Next is the new Warmachine previews. There were
Infantry wound marker trackers, Quick Measuring sets, a new sculpt for Major Markus “Siege” Brisbane,
a new sculpt for Fiona the Black, a new sculpt for Koldun Kommander Aleksandra
Zerkova, new sculpts for Captain Sam MacHorne and the Devil Dogs unit and the LONG AWAITED Convergance Battle Engine the Transfinite Emergence with Permutation Servitors. Also
Extreme versions of the Khador Heavy Warjacks Juggernaut and Destroyer. Extreme
versions are larger premium versions of excessing figures.
Next is the Ninja Division news. With Robotech RPG
Tactics this week we got more Container news. Container four is stuck with
customs at the moment, they are hoping it will be at the warehouse by the end
of the week. Container five should be arriving to the warehouse this week too.
Containers six and seven are in the USA and should be at the warehouse by the
end of next week by the way things are going. Container eight has also just
arrived in the USA and Container nine is still at sea, but due to problems
there is no ETA on when they will arrive at the warehouse. The way things are
going I a strong dealt that I be getting it this side of Christmas, which would
be bad as it was meant to be my Christmas present, from last year.
Lastly is
the current Hasslefree Miniatures Sculpting Contest news. Still no news. Also
normally I would have my top twenty non computer game KickStarters, however due
to the fact that there were no changes, there will not be doing it this month.

Brimstone” for Europe, wave three of “Deadzone”, “Last Saga”, the coloured ran
of “Pop-Up Miniature Terrain Kit”, “Bubblegum Crisis Ultimate Edition Blu-Ray
Set” (comes with a digital copy of the old RPG rulebooks), “Arcadia Quest” from
the EU hub, wave one of “Journey Wrath of Daemons" and hopefully the
physical copy of “OVA” are meant to start shipping this month

Workerdroid, Apothecary and a Primitive.

Next week there should two more Primitives, two more
Samaritan Trooper, a Strider and two Rebs Sorak Swordbrethren.
