Welcome to another HeroClix MK. First off is the HeroClix news for the week. This week there were previews of Namor from the Marvel: Galactic Guardians main set; Nova from the Marvel: Galactic Guardians - Annihilators Fast Forces box set; and Hogun from the Marvel: Avengers Movies set. Oh and I have been forgetting to state that Nova, Namor, Dr. Doom, Hulk Silver Surfer and Nova Corps Denarian from the Marvel Galactic Guardians Gravity Force set are all up on HCRealms Unit section as well as all the Star Trek: Tactics ships.
This week's game was changed again due to no Michael. It was the game we were ment to do last week. Two 600 points teams, four actions. One of heroes and one of Villains. Figures will be placed randomly on one of three 2' by 3' maps. When you select a character to give a non free action, roll a D6 for on a 4, 5 or 6 place them on a random map, but on the same square (eg 5 E) if they can be placed there. If not they do not move maps. My heroes team was based of an Astonishing X-Men team done in HCRealms. However as it was a 500 points team, I added Colossus and went for a differentShadowcat (Kitty Pride). The team was:
Cyclops (008 Giant Size X-Men) 110
Wolverine (009 Giant Size X-Men) 103
Beast (010 Giant Size X-Men) 95
Emma Frost (011 Giant Size X-Men) 81
Colossus (012 Mutations and Monsters) 158
Shadowcat (038 Sinister) 54
=601 points and four re-rolls.
For my villains team I went for the Wrecker Crew. I found that I could have done with some more points with this theme as they are very expensiv, but then again there is not enough members for a theme team at higher points unless They release Excavator, Piledrivers son. The team ended up being:
Absorbing Man (019 Mutations and Monsters) 184
Wrecker (048 Mutations and Monsters) 230 414
Thunderball (037 Armour Wars) 72 486
Bulldozer (042 Super Nova) 113
=599 points and four re-rolls.
Adrian's villains team was a Covenant team who were:
6x Jackal with Beam Rifle (008 Halo) 50 x 6 = 300
3x Jackal with Plasma Pistol (006 Halo) 54 x 3 = 162
3x Grunt with Plasma Grenade (026 Halo) 42 x 3 = 126
=588 points and four re-rolls.
Adrian's heroes team wasa Covenant team. What another Covenant team? According to Adrian the Elite decide leave the Covenant and join forces with the UNSC in Halo 3. Never me or Darren knows much about Halo, but felt that it was pushing it as they do not have the keywords the support them (apart from the duo). However as he has no other team to use we have to let it go. I did some checking afterwards and found that yes the Elite did leave the Covenant Empire, but as the only Prophet in the set was Regret and they do not have the keyword Covenant Separatists, I have a feeling the Elite in the set are meant to be villains not ever. Well anyway the team he used were:
2x Elite with Plasma Rifle (006 Halo) 69 x 2 = 138
2x Elite with Carbine (016 Halo) 84 x 2 = 168
Cloaked Elite with Carbine (033 Halo) 73
Master Chief and Arbiter (044 Halo) 200
=579 points and four re-rolls.
Darren's heroes team was an Avengers team who were:
Falcon (079 Captain America) 79
She-Hulk (007 Incredible Hulk) 105
Hercules (026 Incredible Hulk) 141
Amadeus Cho (027 Incredible Hulk) 58
Invisible Woman (057 Captain America) 110
Captain America (040 Hammer of Thor) 72
Wasp (003 Universe) 19
=579 points and four re-rolls.
Darren's villain team was a Masters of Evil team who were:
Baron Zemo (054 Captain America) 150
Tiger Shark (033 Incredible Hulk) 134
Moonstone (022 Hammer of Thor) 76
Ultron (049 Hammer of Thor) 174
Beetle (023 Sinister) 64
=598 points and four re-rolls.
One Villain team and one hero team were placed on each of the three maps. Heroes were all friendly to one and another and the same with villains until one side is KO'd (never happened). The player who scored the most victory points (not team) wins. This was a slow game, but more seemed to happen than the Baxter Building one. I manage to win somehow with my poor dice rolls, due to KOing Master Chief and Arbiter as well as a ton of Jackals. I think Adrian got second due to KOing his own figures.
Next week should be the long awaited Strongest There Is. 500 points. Three actions. One figure must be a Hulk or a Hulk like figure. All other figures can not be over 100 points. No Feats are aloud. The Hulk or Hulk like character's Defence powers can not be Outwitted. This is if Michael comes.
Now for this week's DreamClix section. This week I am doing ideas for a pilot card if Lelouch from Code Geass, Char Aznable from the original Mobile Suit Gundam, Criminal Mastermind from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone and Lizard Grunt from Thundercats. But first the Infantry Horde Token from the mecha shows, Panty Anarchy from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, MS-06 Zaku II (with Bazooka) from the original Mobile Suit Gundam and Hirokazu Ukita from Death Note.
Next is the pilot card for Lelouch from Code Geass. Lelouch vi Britannia is the protagonist and antihero of Lelouch of the Rebellion, 17 years old (18 at R2). After he was exiled he used the alias, Lelouch Lamperouge. He is the Eleventh Prince of the Holy Britannian Empire and the son of the 98th Emperor of Britannia, Charles zi Britannia. He is the leader of the Black Knights which makes him the real identity of Zero. Lelouch was born on December 5, 1999 a.t.b. as Lelouch vi Britannia the son of the Emperor of Britannia, Charles zi Britannia, and the late Imperial Consort Marianne, making Lelouch the Eleventh Prince of the Holy Britannian Empire. He was in line to be the seventeenth heir to the throne prior to his mother's assassination and his sister's crippling in the same incident. A ten year old Lelouch confronted the Emperor afterward and accused him of leaving his mother defenseless, even going as far as renouncing his entitlement to the throne. In response, his father banished him to Japan, where he was used as a political hostage in the Sakuradite conflict. It was during his stay at the Kururugi household that he first met Suzaku Kururugi, with whom the young Lelouch did not interact initially in a friendly manner, before later becoming friends. However, when Britannia finally developed its Knightmare Frames fleet and decided to invade Japan to seize control of the Sakuradite mines, consequently discarding Lelouch's use as a diplomatic tool, Lelouch, fearing for his and his sister's safety, hid their true identities and sought the help of the Ashford family, who were his mother's allies. His mother's death and his father's apparent lack of concern in regards to it were huge blows to Lelouch. He always felt that it was unfair for both his mother and sister, and therefore made it his goal to pursue a better world for Nunnally. He also seeks to discover the true reason for his mother's death, as she was murdered in the Aries Imperial Palace, a place terrorists would be unlikely to penetrate successfully without being noticed, if at all. This card represents him before becoming Zero.
Requirement: None.
Special Ability: This character can use Stealth, Perplex and Probability Control, but suffers a -1 to all combat values. This character does not need to drew line of sight if he is not attacking. Also this Character gains the Geass keyword even if this ability is Outwitted.
Mecha Ability: Sutherland. This character can use Shape Change and this character does not need to drew line of sight if it is not attacking.
The next Code Geass idea should be a pilot card of Jeremiah Gottwald.
Next is the pilot card for Char Aznable from the original Mobile Suit Gundam. Universal Century timeline of the Gundam franchise. He is originally one of the main antagonists in Mobile Suit Gundam and later becomes one of the protagonists of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. In his final appearance in Char's Counterattack, he assumes leadership of the Neo Zeon movement, named after his father Zeon Zum Deikun, and becomes the titular antagonist of the film. Throughout his life, he is also known by the aliases Edward Mass and Quattro Bajeena. In addition, he is given the nom de guerre of "The Red Comet", for his performance at the Battle of Loum during the One Year War.
Requirement: Zeon.
Special Ability: This character gains a +1 to its Attack combat value.
Mecha Ability: MS-06 Zaku II Command Type, MS-09 Rick Don, MSM-07 Z'Gok Command Type, MS-14 Gelgoog Command Type and MSN-02 Zeong. This character replaces its Movement combat value with one three higher and can use the Transporter ability.
The next Gundam UC idea should be the RX-78-2 Gundam.
Next is Criminal Mastermind from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone. They should have Mastermind, Leadership, Probability Control, Stealth and a special called "Hacker".
Hacker: Criminal Mastermind can use Perplex twice
or use Outwit. When using Perplex you must target two different characters and can not target them self.
They should have five or six clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 7, Attack 9, Defence 18, Damage 2 and range 5 with two targets. Their team ability should be the Wild Card one and they should not have any keywords. The next Ghost in the Shell idea should be a Cyborg Thug generic.
Next is Lizard Grunt generic from Thundercats. Lizards are one of several sapient species on Third Earth. Lizards inhabited marginal areas and often came into conflict with the Cats, which held military superiority over them, until they aquired access to advance military technology from Mumm-Ra and Grune. In Legacy, it was shown that the Lizards were slaves of Mumm-Ra in the past alongside the Jackals, Monkeys, humanoid vultures, humanoid elephants, and the TigerSharks. Lizard's civilization is considered to be (in terms of cats) primitive. Lizards were obviously inferior -in cultural and progress terms - to Thundercats for a long time. This is clearly seen at the first phase of the battle for Thunderia. The lizard's army, compared to Thunderia Royal Army was armed with primitive dinosaurs with spears, axes and clubs, had almost no metal armor, and was poorly organized. The situation changed after the conclusion of an alliance between lizards and Mumm-Ra. Lizards have access to advanced military and civilian technology, and managed to create a strong industrial base (in particular, the huge Cloud Peak Mine mining complex). It is clear that new technologies have not yet become part of the lizard's culture , and, apparently, only available to very few. Symbolic elements (such as an amulet on the Slithe chest) indicate that their perception of the world is still quite traditional. They should have a minion power that gives the Leap Climb and Range Combat Expert. They should and about four clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 9, Attack 9, Defence 16, Damage 1 and Range 5 with one target. Their team ability should be the Minions of Mumm-Ra one and their keywords should be Mumm-Ra's Horde and Animal. The next Thundercats idea should be Grune.
Lastly is the DreamClix Dial Designs page update news. This week I updated the page twice. The first update was on Sunday was the final of the four CosmicBreak updates and the second update was on Thursday and was the first of two Cosplay Deviants updates. Here are the new dial designs and team ability images from the updates:
