7TV Listings: The Black Knights from Code Geass (100 and 200)

This week’s re-listed 7TV team is the Black Knights. These are based on the Black Knights from the Anime Code Geass but without the Knightmare Frames. For their background you can easily search the web. I used Crooked Dice Games only Time Life Secretly as the standard Black Knights.

There are now two different rating of teams: 100 and 200 (I have dropped 150).

First off 100 ratings:

And then the 200 rating:

Like Shen from the Silicon Robotic Empire, the sculpt I done for Kallen is still with Hasslefree Miniatures for their contest (which is taking forever). So the unpainted figure is just a place holder for her. Here is an image of the greens version of Kallen. Future plans for this team is to add C.C., Kyoshiro Tohdoh and the Holy Swords (there will be more than four).

The next team will be G.O.D.S. (Goble Operation Defence Superheroes).

Until next time, Armour Up.

Neoscream's Life: 22nd to 28th of July 2013

PMX-001 Palace Athene
Welcome to the Neoscream's Life post. This is a weekly post of some of the things I have done last week and news on stuff from Crooked Dice Games, Mantic Game, Robotech RPG Tactics, Mekton and the Geek Goddess AJ Lee.

On Monday last week was the second week of the Warmachine/Hordes Journeyman League. I had my Convergence of Cyriss now and all painted up. That was one medium sized based Warcaster, two Heavy Vectors and two Light Vectors, which makes a total twelve hobby points gain. Sweet. My 15 points force was:

Forge Master Syntherion -6 (to Warjacks)
Cipher Heavy Vector 9
Inverter Heavy Vector 8
Mitigator Light Vector 4
=15 points

In the first game I was up against Joseph Mead. He was using a Retribution of Scyrah force. His force (I think) was:

Kaelyssa, Night's Whisper -7 (to Warjacks)
Hydra Heavy Myrmidon 9
Eiryss, Mage Hunter of Ios 3
Mage Hunter Strikeforce (Leader and 9) 8
Mage Hunter Commander 2
=15 points

Never warcaster were killed, I lost my Mitigator while Joseph lost his Solo, Unit Attachment and a large chunk of his unit. This won me the game. Sweet, my first victory. The next game I was up against Dave Bartley. He was using a Legion of Everblight force which was (at a guess):

Lylyth, Herald of Everblight -6 (to Warbeasts)
Angelius Heavy Warbeast 9
Blighted Nyss Sorceress and Hellion 4
Blighted Nyss Archers (Leader and 9) 8
=15 points

Never warcaster was killed, but if time was not called I would have lost my warcaster. I took out one of his war beasts and most of his unit while I lost nothing. If it was not for Auto-Repair I would have last my Inverter. So a second win. Sweet. Two wins, one draw and one lost for me so far. With just the Hobby Points alone I am at first place in the league. Wow I am winning. The third week will happen on the 5th of August and it will be 25 points. Oh and the statement from last week. I prey to the Geek Goddess, AJ Lee, for victory and my Convergence of Cyriss won both their games. They worship Cyriss the Machine Goddess. Geeks and technology goes together. So Geek god is related to Machine god which must mean AJ Lee=Cyriss. (People who follow me on Twitter might have read this already.)

The Basilean from Kings of War
Oh with the washing machine the engineer came on Thursday and replaced the drum. He also replaced the rubber seal and the machine is still working fine. Finally.

Next is the Mantic news. A ton of images of the new human army for Kings of War, The Basilean, have been posted and there are finally up for pre-order.

Now for the Robotech RPG Tactics. A preview image of the Glaug-Eldare has been posted. There will also be Max and Miriya Valkyries, but they will be Gen Con exclusive and unavailable to the KickStarters (unless they go to Gen Com and buy them there) sadly. So no Max and Miriya Valkyries for me sadly.

Next is the Warmachne and Hordes news. An image o the Convergence of Cyriss counters have been revealed as well as a CGI image of the Protectorate of Menoth Journeyman Warcaster Initiate Tristan Durant. Also we have unlocked on the Warmachine: Tactics KickStarter before I went to bed on Sunday were: the PDF maps as a $10 add-on, a single-player mission pack called “Fire and Ice”, Steelhead Halberdier mercenary unit for the computer game, Steelhead Riflemen mercenary unit for the computer game, another canvas print Add-on called “Black Heart” for $350 and the Mercenary characters Jarok Croe and Cutthroat for the computer game. Known stretch goal still to go are: the four Warcasters of Apotheosis plus a mystery bonus feature at $1,174,000; single player Onslaught mode, co-op player and single player mission pack called “Dark Seduction” at $1,299,000; Magnus the Traitor’s Battlegroup and Mercenaries as a playable faction at $1,354,000; Retribution of Scyrah as a playable faction at $1,509,000; and the Mercenary Warcaster Ashlyn D’Elyse and her battlegroup at $1,769,000.

There was now Crooked Dice Games news. Also due to the fact of a lack of news with these KickStarter funded games, I will be dropping both OVA and Mekton Zero from the weekly gaming news section. Instead I will be only bring them up with big news like they are shipping or they have arrived. This will go for all KickStarter stuff I have backed that is not a miniatures game.

Now for what AJ Lee has been up to this past week. On Raw this week AJ had Big E Langston attack her ex, Dolph Ziggler. Sadly the worm was too quick and he ran away like the rat he is.

On Smackdown came out to the ring with Big E. She wanted to make it clear that everything was fine while in fact she was pulling a brave face. She wanted to give Dolph back his house keys and to let world now that she could have break in and burn everything to the ground, but did not. Dolph came out and said he had changed to locks several time since they split. AJ asked Big to hand her a suitcase they brought out. Dolph’s suitcase. AJ pulled out Dolph’s wallet and started destroying his Driver’s Licence, Card and Passport as well as throwing his money away, but Dolph did not care. AJ starts throwing Dolph’s clothes around the ring. Big E tries to calm her down but AJ pushed him away. Then out of nowhere “HULK SMASH” Kaitlyn speared AJ. Beep! Beep! Beep! That bitch Kaitlyn dare attack our Goddess. I hope her friends back stab her so she knows how AJ feels. Oh and then the rat Dolph attacked Big E when he tried to help AJ.

We now move on to the Watch, Listen and Read section of the blog post:

7TV Listings: The Doctor Who Team (100 and 200)

If you did not know what is "Doctor Who" where have you been the last 50 years an
d how comes you are on the internet. The current line up in the team this based of Matt Smith's The Doctor before Clara Oswald. However it does includes Captain Jack Harkness who never work with this version of the Doctor (if my memory serves me right). I will be adding Clara Oswald, K9, Donna Noble (sadly), Rose Tyler, Madame Vastra, Jenny Flint and Strax to the lineup in the future and maybe alternate versions of the Doctor to swap around.

Well anyway, there are now two different rating of teams: 100 and 200 (I have dropped 150).

First off 100 ratings:

And now the 200 rating:

The two Police Constables can be replace with anything up to 18 rating. They are just there as rating fillers. This was the reason I never filled in their states.

The next team will be the Black Knights from the anime Code Geass. Until next time, Armour Up.

MK HeroClix: 25th July - New Russian Failures (Sorry to any Russians for the title)

Welcome to the MK HeroClix post. This is a weekly post with HeroClix news and results of Thursday's HeroClix game at MK Wargames Society at York House. This week there were previews M from Marvel Wolverine and the X-Men; Batman and Robin from DC Batman Classic TV; and Scout 255, Assimilator 84, the U.S.S. Enterprise-D, Scout 608 and Queen Vessel Prime from Star Trek Tactics III. They have revealed at comic con last weekend that there will be a Lone Ranger set and a Batmobile to go with the DC Batman Classic TV set. Oh and the Kick Ass 2 set should be out soon too. Oh and with the Star Trek Tactics stuff, I am liking the idea of the Borg ships, but apart from the Queen Vessel Prime, I am not a fan of the states compared to standard HeroClix stuff.

This week was the third week of the special tournament that Darren is running. He will bring four 600 point team each week for eight weeks (round one). One DC heroes, one DC villains, one Marvel heroes and one Marvel villains. All teams are classed as Named themed even if it is not. We will each take it in turns using the team. The top two teams of each week will move on to the next round. This week’s teams were:

Omega Red
"Sinestro Corps"
Sinestro (003 DC War of the Light) 200
Arkillo (028 DC Arkham Asylum) 126
Amon Sur (70 DC Arkham Asylum) 70
Yellow Lantern (044 DC Arkham Asylum) 65

Speedball (038 Marvel Secret Invasion) 77
Night Thrasher (015 Marvel Supernova) 73

Jakeem Thunder (089 DC Origin) 126
Dr. Mid-Nite (023 DC Collateral Damage) 43
Atom Smasher (001 DC Giants) 97
=604 points

On the first round I was up against Adrian. I was using the “Sinestro Corps” team while Adrain was using the “From Russia with Love” team. This was a very long and slow game,  but I managed to win. Also the “Justice Society” beat the “New Warriors”. On the second round I was up against Michael.  I was using the “New Warriors” team while Michael was using the “Sinestro Corps”. With their low attack values the New Warriors did crap, but they did take out Lyssa Drak and Manhunter. However they still lost. Also the “Justice Society” beat “From Russia with Love”. On the third and final round I was up against Darren.  I was using the “From Russia with Love” team while Darren was using the “New Warriors” team. A rare thing happened, I beat Darren. Ok his team was the New Warriors, they are crap sadly. Also the “Sinestro Corps” beat “Justice Society”. The two teams that are joining “Legion of Superheroes”, “Crime Syndicate”, “X-Men” and “M.O.D.O.K.'s 11” into the next round are the “Sinestro Corps” and “Justice Society”.

Next week should be the fourth week of round one of the tournament, next week’s teams will be “Avengers”, “Frightful Four”, “Batman Family” and “Injustice Gang”.

Until next time, Armour Up.

Neoscream's Life: 15th to 21st of July 2013

PMX-000 Messala (Mobile Armour mode)
Welcome to the Neoscream's Life post. This is a weekly post of some of the things I have done last week and news on stuff from Crooked Dice Games, Mantic Game, Robotech RPG Tactics, Mekton and the Geek Goddess AJ Lee.

With my Tonsillitis this week, they are fine now. Just still on the medication until tomorrow.

We have been having major problems with our washing machine for quite some time now and I would like to talk about it. For several weeks before hand the washing machine was making a huge racket, even our next door neighbour commented about it. So on the 22nd of June (guessing on the date) my mum booked a visit from British Gas for the 27th of June. So on the 27th a British Gas engineer came to check it. The bearing had gone, so they had to replace the whole drum. As it would have to be ordered and installed by Hotpoint, we had to book another appointment which was the 4th of July. The washing machine was also too dangerous to use in this state so we could not use it until the work had been done. On 3rd of July we had a phone call from Hotpoint. According to them, British Gas never told them that the drum was needed to be ordered, so they could not install it on the day we booked it. So we had to re-book the appointment for 8th of July. On the day a Hotpoint engineer came and installed a new drum. According to my dad the engineer was quite clumsy with handling the new drum. Over the next couple of days we noticed that the washing machine was leaking. My mum called British Gas again on the 13th of July. They told us to stop using the washing machine as they expect it might be a cracked drum and booked a British Gas engineer to come on the 15th of July. They came and after a lot of looking they found it was a cracked drum. They booked a Hotpoint engineer to come and install a new drum on the 18th of July saying that the engineer will differently come with a new drum. When the Hotpoint engineer came on the Thursday and looked at the washing machine. He told my mum that the drum was cracked, which my mum replied we know that is why you are here to install a new one. The engineer said that they do not carry drum as standard as drums vary from model to model and that they were not told anything about ordering in one. My mum had to re-book for the earliest they could do was the 25th of July. After being passed around on the phone to different people trying to make a complaint about all this my mum finally got someone the following morning. The person was quite rude and unhelpful. Basically to them it takes time for these parts to arrive. Which is true but they should have order it straight away than wait until they booked the appointment to order them. They could write it off and give us money to a new one, however that would be only 30% off the new one. So that is a no. Sadly the damn it is costing us money as we had to buy some new clothes for work to keep me going and hand wash some pants so I have enough too. Not a nice job when you have a runny tummy due to Antibiotics. Figures cross the damn machine gets fixed on Thursday.

Next is the Mantic news. Images for the Plague Faction Booster figures have been revealed and I have a feeling I forgot to report that the fantastic Rebels Faction Booster figures were revealed a couple of weeks ago. A couple of small images of the new human army for Kings of War have appeared and Mantic is now doing the standard Enforcers, Cyphers and Forge Guard in hard plastic now for Deadzone. Also Jake has finished off the Season Three rule for DreadBall.

Now for the Robotech RPG Tactics. Finally a store for getting the add ons is now up. My add ons were the Special Edition Resin SDF-1, Objective Pack 1 (that has a Valkyrie arm carrying Linn Minmel, a Giant Tuna and "Infiltrator" Max Sterling), MKII Monster, a pack of YF-4 Valkyries and UEDF Token Pack.

Next is the Warmachne and Hordes news. This coming Wednesday will see the releases Aurora the Numen of Aerogenesis (Convergence Warcaster), Clockwork Angels (Convergence Unit), Deliverers (Protectorate Unit), Greygore Boomhowler and Co (Mercenary Minion Trollkin Character Unit) and issue 49 of No Quarter Magazine. Also we have unlocked on the Warmachine: Tactics KickStarter before I went to bed on Sunday were: a Character Colouring system; the four character Warjacks of Apotheosis; an extra Sturgis Collector’s Coin as an add on; the artwork “True Blue” for Epic level and above or as an add on for $350; a PDF add on of a book of short stories about the new characters called “Rites of Passage” from the game for $5; and ten exclusive cards of the new characters from the game for the Warmachine card game High Command as an add on for $10. Known stretch goal still to go are: single-player mission pack called “Fire and Ice” at $1,010,000; four more Mercenary characters (currently un-named) each at $1,021,000, $1,032,000, $1,043,000 and $1,054,000; the four Warcasters of Apotheosis plus a mystery bonus feature at $1,174,000; single player Onslaugh mode, co-op player and single player mission pack called “Dark Seduction” at $1,299,000; Magnus the Traitor’s Battlegroup and Mercenaries as a playable faction at $1,354,000; and Retribution of Scyrah as a playable faction at $1,509,000. Also they have planned to add a ton of add ons next week: Digitally downloadable images of the Warmachine: Tactics maps that can be printed out and use on the tabletop (SWEET) and Kickstarter Exclusive custom mod kits featuring wild warcaster re-designs that you have never see anywhere else. I want the maps and I might up my pledge to include the High Command cards and the short stories. I am not planning on getting the card game (yet) just want them just in case I do in the future. Oh and this Monday was the second week of the Journeyman League. I will talk more about it next week but all I will say is that AJ Lee must equal Cyriss just like Zeus equals Jupiter.

Next is the Crooked Dice news. They have revealed that the green of next month’s figures. These are Tweedy Mattison 2 (their second sculpt of Matt Smith’s the Doctor), Belle (Clara Oswald) and Ms Temple (Donna Noble). I am over the moon about a figure of Clara Oswald is being made (sadly there looks like a sculpting error due to badly placed knees), however I would have prefer Martha Jones, Mickey Smith, older version Sarah Jane Smith or any of the Touchwood team than Donna Noble. They should hopefully be out on the 1st of August. Anyway I plan on ordering these guys as soon as they are out (more due me wanting a Clara Oswald figure) with the Time Lost Investigators set (hope there might be a bundle deal) and may be the 7th Voyage Cursed Creatures set as I want the harpy.

The only OVA news from last week is that the survey is now up.

Before I move onto the AJ Lee news from last week, let us talk about Money in the Bank, well the results anyway as I have not seen this pay per view. WWE Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns of the shield defeated The Usos sadly as I expected. Ryback defead Chris Jericho. The fantastic, awesome, divine, black widow Divas Champion AJ Lee kicked “HUlK SMASH” Kaitlyn’s butt to retain the championship.  Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel defeat The Miz. Damien Sandow won the World Heavyweight Championship Contract Money in the Bank Ladder Match by backstabbing his now former tag team partner Cody Rhodes. Randy Orton won the Money in the Bank All-Stars Match for the WWE Championship Contract, which CM Punk was about to win until Paul Heyman back stabbed him. World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio defeat Dolph Ziggler by disqualification. OK let us talk a little more about this match. During the match AJ came out with her music playing. She wanted to be by her boyfriend’s side. Dolph was distracted and told her to go back to the locker room as he wanted to do this by himself. Del Rio used the distraction to get the up hand on Dolph. AJ panicked as Dolph was now losing to Del Rio. So she clobbered Del Rio with the Divas Championship ever forgetting the ref was in sight or that it was not a No Disqualification match. She was only trying to help. Lastly WWE Champion John Cena defeat Mark Henry.

Now for what AJ Lee has been up to this past week. The new GM of Raw, Brad Maddox, gave Dolph another rematch against Del Rio. Backstage before the match AJ tried her best to apologise to Dolph for what happened last night on Money in the Bank, but just Dolph dumped her. The match between Dolph and Del Rio was a good and long match. Dolph was winning. He pinned Del Rio, but before the Ref could count to three the ring bell went. Was it time being called on the match? Nope there was no time limit. Did the Ref call the match? Nope he was confused why it went like everyone else. Was Vince McMahon trying to get one over his son in law, Triple H? Nope! It was divine interaction. The Geek Goddess herself did it. (For those who do not know, I am talking about AJ). Del Rio used the confusion to recover and then win the match. After the match was over and when Dolph was distracted by AJ, Big E attacked him. Dolph was knocked unconscious down in the middle of the ring.

AJ briefly appeared on Smackdown last week too. Her and Big E were watching from backstage Dolph’s match against his former friend and team mate back when Vickie Guerrero was his manager, Jack Swagger. Dolph won the match and the jerk said he regretted not dumping poor AJ sooner. AJ was upset by the comments and started beating up a bunch of chars in an emotional rage. Big E was a gentleman and by the look of it the only one in the WWE) and tried calming her down. After AJ beating him up, Big E manage to calm her down and give her a kiss on the forehead. (Big E is properly doing what any male AJ fan would want to do, protect her.) There will be hell to pay Dolph for upsetting the all mighty Geek Goddess and Big E will be her weapon of mass destruction. Oh and on another note, Vickie was made GM of Smackdown, replacing both Booker T and Teddy Long. Vince McMahon must really hate the WWE fans.
