Brute Force is awesome. I’m so tempted to a bunch of her and an extra set Mechanites Robot for parts to make a whole new team.

This week there was previews of: Goblin Zombie from Yu-Gi-Oh Series One; Professor X from Marvel X-Men Days of Future Past; and Deadpool and the “I Never Miss With the Sheep Gun” Word Balloons from Marvel Deadpool. DC Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes is now out to.

Now for the Cool Mini or Not news. The Arcadia Quest KickStarter is still going. Let us have a re-look at the contain of the main level “Guildmaster” at the end of the last week's post: the main box game, the Kickstarter Exclusive The Nameless Campaign box set the Kickstarter Exclusive Hero Sonja, a pack of 30 plastic gold coins, the Kickstarter Exclusive Hero Montoya, a pack of 20 plastic wound counters, the Kickstarter Exclusive Hero Koba and a pack of special Guild Dice.
There is also a new limited backer level called “War Paint”. It is basically the same as Guildmaster but the core game, Sonja and Nameless campaign figures will be painted to table top quality. All for $400 for the first wave or $405 for the second wave or $410 for the third wave, both the first two are sold out.
The goals it manage to unlock during the second week were: the Kickstarter exclusive hero Hitch was added to the Guildmaster level; a pack of 16 plastic Guild Tokens were added to the Guildmaster level; the Kickstarter exclusive hero Viktor was added to the Guildmaster level; a pack of 24 plastic Death Tokens was be added to the Guildmaster level; the hero Zahra as an add-on; the Kickstarter exclusive hero Pluck added to the Guildmaster level; eight extra Monster cards were added to the Arcadia Quest box set; the expansion set Beyond the Grave as an add-on; the Kickstarter exclusive hero Elysia as an add-on; and the Kickstarter exclusive hero Morgan was added to the Guildmaster level.

There is are Doors, Portals, Spawning and Exploring tokens left to do, if they all do get plastic versions. After them I have a feeling there might be more titles, more cards and more monsters.
On other Cool or Not Minis news, there is a new Mission on the Zombicide site called “Who let the dogs out!”

Next is the Warlord Games news. This week on the Judge Dredd Kickstarter they revealed CAD images of the Assassinator Droid.

Now for the Shadows of Brimstone KickStarter news. This week they showed off CAD images of the Slashers and the Hungry Dead, more artwork and some of the Custom Dice.

We also got dates of the March release. Sadly the first wave came out just before posting this post. They are: the Cryx Thrall Unit Attachment Skarlock Commander, the Trollblood Solo Trollkin Sorcerer, the Minion Unit “Gatorman Bokor and Bog Trog Swamp Shamblers” and the Mercenary Rhulic Unit Hammerfall High Shield Gun Corps. The next wave is out on the 19th which are: the Warmachine Vengeance book, the Cygnar Unit Trencher Infantry with Three Weapon Attachments, the High Command Hordes expansion “Elemental Rage” and issue 53 of No Quarter.

Now for the Crooked Dice Games news. The March releases are out now (be there is nothing on their front page. First there is the four Detectives and Lowlifes. They are £3.50 each or £12 for all four. Next is Dr Mao and The Mannequin. They are £3.50 each or £6.50 for all two. Lastly there is the Federated Security Starter Set. It contains six Federated Security Guards with Carbines, one Federated Security Guard Commander with balaclava and helmet heads, two Federated Security Mutaints, one Federated Security Heavy Weapon Trooper and one Security Robot all for £25.
Also next month we will be getting four more Doctor Who characters. The Seventh, Eight and War Doctors and an assistant which sadly I do not recognise off at the moment. Oh and a new set of weapons. I will most likely be picking up the new Doctor Who figures and a couple I do not have at Salute.

Next is the Elven Adventurers Box Set KickStarter news. This week we got another three greens. This time they were the Kitsune Swordsman, the Elf Wizard on foot and the Elf Raider.

Now for the Mekton news. The main rule book has a new deadline of May 1st. Note by the sound of thing that is finished layout, not printing and posting. So it well be about half a year late. Always the way with KickStarter RPGs.

Lastly is the Journey: Wrath of Demons news. We got images and information on some of the tokens from the game this week.

Past Events

On Monday I popped into Wargames Workshop MK to pick up a couple of bits and to have a chat with a couple of people in person. I ended up having a game of Puppet Wars, a board game from Wyrd Miniatures, the creators of Malifaux. It was an enjoy game, sadly I lost, but it was still fun.

Future Events

These are local gaming events in Milton Keynes I know of, Guardians of Tyr events at Wargames Workshop Northampton and other events I plan on going to or want to advertise.

·       On Mondays at Wargames Workshop MK is Wargaming and board games night. Board games use to be on a Friday, however
·       On Tuesdays at Wargames Workshop MK it is Card games night (or is it just Magic the Gathering).
·       On Thursdays York House in Stony Stratford is open from Wargamers and Boardgamers.
·       On Fridays at Wargames Workshop MK it is Friday Night Magic.
·       On Monday the 10th of March at Wargames Workshop MK, Guardians of Tyr will be running the second week of their Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team League. This will be running every Monday throughout March.
·        On Saturday the 15th of March, Guardians of Tyr will be running a Steam Roller Warmachine/Hoards tournament at Wargames Workshop MK.
·       On Thursday the 20th of March, there is HeroClix at York House in Stony Stratford. The scenario should be to my knowledge “Four is the Magic Number”. Details of the scenario are below.

Wargames Workshop MK has a £2 gaming fee or £4 with a pack of Magic the Gathering cards unless it is a paid tournament run by Guardians of Tyr (not including it is High Command). Weekday events normally start “playing” at 7PM.

For rules for Guardians of Tyr tournaments and leagues as well as information on pre booking your place in tournament. Pre booking is highly recommended so they know how many people are coming. So please go to their website which there is a link to it under my links section which are located on the right hand side of this blog.

York House has a £3 on the day gaming fee and a £5 fee for a year’s membership. However the first day is free and they only take yearly membership fee at the start of the year. The Hall officially opens at 7PM, but normally people start arrived 15 to 20 minutes early.

HeroClix Scenario “Four is the Magic Number”: 400 point. Must be Named Themed and must have four figures (no more, no less).

Painting and Converting

This week I have doing the Zombie version of Derek, both Human and Zombie versions of Elsa and Neema and the Human version of Raoul.
