Dwarf King's Quest Barbarian |
Welcome to “Gaming News from Neoscream”. This is my
weekly gaming news post for miniature games, RPGs, some card games and computer
games.
“Gaming News”
First of there is the Stonehaven Miniatures. Their
“Pop-Up Miniature Terrain Kit” KickStarter is still going strong. Goodies
unlocked since last week’s post were: Hedge Rows; a Rocky Field; colour
versions upgrades; a Frost; an Adventuring Gear Depot; and the Spells and
Alchemy Shops.
Stretch Goals still left when I posted this post
were: A Long Lonesome Highway at $27.5k; and a Bridge over Troubled Waters at $30k.
This KickStarter will be ending on Sunday so let us
see what can be unlocked between now and then.
Next is the Mantic news. Due to the low demand for
the Retro US Soldiers, Mantic will not be making the miniatures now. Instead
they have made a deal with Warlord Games. They will be replacing with Bolt
Action US Soldiers instead.
Also Dwarf King's Horde four will be called Dwarf
King's Quest now, most likely due to the fact that it will be more like Hero
Quest and Warhammer Quest.
Now for the Ninja Division news. With Super Dungeon
Explore we got new CAD images of the Hero Survivor Marie-Claude and the Claws
of the Wyrm Warband, and we also got a final copy of the cover art of the box
and rulebook for Forgotten King.
With Robotech RPG Tactics the faction dice and
Zentraedi mecha are being manufactured and painted. The decal sheets are being
printed, or about to start. The Rulebook, packaging and other print items have been
approved. And the UEDF mecha are all done with initial tooling for new
prototypes.
Next is the Mechadrome Heavy Metal Combat
KickStarter news. Goodies unlocked so far since last week’s post were: Nothing.
Painted Light and Medium mechs for Mechadrone |
Stretch Goals still left when I posted this post
were: The backers can choose to add for free ever two Hazards or Objective
markers to the on pledges of $100 or more at $10k; the Light Mech Trion at
$13k; Terran Heavy Mechs which stand 10mm tall at $16k; the Medium Mech Omega
Centauri at $20k; also at $20k all backers of $100 or more will gain one free
light mech of their choose; and Bionic Light Mech(s) at $25k.
This KickStarter will be ending on Wednesday so let
us see what can be unlocked between now and then.
Now for the Interface Zero news. This week we got
images of the Standard and Limited Edition versions of physical copies of the
book. These were advance copies, the backer copies are still in shipment from
the manufactures.
Kingdom Death Monster Sneak Peek |
Next is the Cool Mini or Not news. It has finally
been revealed that the Zombicide Season Three KickStarter will start on Sunday
(or maybe Monday for the UK). Also the all new Zombicide App is out now in the
iStore. The Android version should be out soon.
With Arcadia Quest we got a printed image of
Nibbles.
Now for
the Kingdom Death news. There should be
a new update by next week’s post, however there was a sneak peek of the update.
Lastly there is the Privateer Press news. On
Wednesday the second wave of the June releases are out now. These are the
Retribution Character Heavy Warjack Imperatus; the Convergence Light Vector
Galvanizer; the Satyr Heavy Warbeast kit that can make ever the Gnarlhorn, Rip
Horn or Shadowhorn; and the Warmachine High Command Campaign Expansion Set
“Invasion of Sul”.
