Welcome to another HeroClix MK. First off is the HeroClix news for the week. This week there were previews of Hulk from the Marvel: Galactic Guardians main set; Silver Surfer from the Marvel: Galactic Guardians - Annihilators Fast Forces; and another Captain America from the Marvel: Avengers Movies set.
This week game was finally Strongest There Is. 500 points. Three actions. One figure must be a Hulk or a Hulk like figure. All other figures can not be over 100 points. No Feats are aloud. The Hulk or Hulk like character's Defence powers can not be Outwitted. I decided to order the Incredibly Hulk Fast Forces set several weeks ago as I wanted to use the Hulk from that. I built a Defenders team around him who were:
Hulk (001 Fast Forces Incredible Hulk) 150
Gargoyle (004 Avengers) 58
Valkyrie (048 Sinister) 71
Angel (003 Danger Room) 50
Clea (018 Secret Invasion) 59
Ghost Rider (023 Fantastic Forces) 85
Iceman (037 Xplosion) 26
=499 points and four re-rolls.
On the first round I was up against Darren. He was using a Intelligencia themed team who were:
Humanoid (005 Incredible Hulk) 40
Red Hulk (028 Incredible Hulk) 178
2 x A.I.Marine Hulk (100 Incredible Hulk) 92 x 2 = 184
The Leader (014 Incredible Hulk) 100
=502 points and four re-rolls.
The Leader was a good figure, but Darren forgot his and Humanoid's specials, apart from the double Outwit, which cost him a little. However Red Hulk is very nasty and was the key figure the destroyed my team. I lost this game. On the second round I was up against Michael. He was using a non themed team who were:
Human Torch (051 Clobberin Time) 73
Mystique (034 Universe) 34
Captain America (001 Captain America) 89
Rampaging Hulk (062 Mutations and Monsters) 128
Scarlet Witch (026 Avengers) 72
Black Panther (106 Universe) 27
Moonstone (022 Hammer of Thor) 76
=499 points and no re-rolls.
In this game I was having problems hitting things in this game, but somehow manage to win the game. On round third and final I was up against Adrian. He was using a Fantastic Four themed team who were:
Wolverine (035 Incredible Hulk) 70
Joe Fixit (036 Incredible Hulk) 115
Storm (048 Giant Size X-Men) 86
Spider-Man (001 Secret Invasion) 50
Sue Storm (205 Fantastic Forces) 49
Black Panther (108 Universe) 46
She-Hulk (003 Fast Forces Incredible Hulk) 75
=491 points and four re-rolls.
The new Wolverine is very good compared to what it reads as, but Joe Fixer does not seem to be that good. Both Wolverine and She-Hulk destroyed my team. I ended up losting this game, but it was close at times.
Next week should be Tooled Up. 500 points, 3 actions, characters most be holding a weapon (like any Punisher) or an object that can be used as a weapon (like Secret Invasion The Thing).
Now for this week's DreamClix section. This week, due to HCRealms's Dial Generator not working all week, the only Dial Design I doing is week is a pilot card for the Britannia Pilot from Code Geass I am doing ideas for a pilot card of Jeremiah Gottwald from Code Geass, Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail, Cyborg Thug from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone, Quincy Rosencreutz from Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040, Brother of Ninja Murasaki from Dragon Ball and Yumichika Ayasegawa from Bleach.
Next is the pilot card of Jeremiah Gottwald from Code Geass. Jeremiah Gottwald early on is an elite Knightmare Frame pilot and a member of the Purist Faction. He attended the Imperial Colchester Institute before joining the Britannian army. He is deeply concerned with their supremacy, jumping on the chance to use Suzaku Kururugi, an Eleven (Japanese citizen) made an Honorary Britannian, as a scapegoat for both avenging Prince Clovis' death and reinforcing the Purists' superiority in Area 11. He hopes to limit military service to Purists alone. Jeremiah was a guard at the Aries Palace when Empress Marianne was assassinated, and considers the incident his biggest failure. Afterwards, he transferred to Japan, the land that had apparently taken the lives of the Empress' two children Lelouch and Nunnally, in an attempt to redeem himself. Initially, he held the rank of Margrave in Area 11's military hierarchy. After Clovis's murder, Jeremiah takes upon the role of Area 11's Acting-Consul, but upon losing Suzaku Kururugi to Zero in a very public fiasco, Jeremiah fell into disgrace, and soon into mental instability when denied the opportunity to regain his former status. After learning of Lelouch's motive for becoming Zero, he regains his sanity as well as a new-found purpose of serving Lelouch and Nunnally as an atonement for his previous failures.
Requirements: Britannia keyword.
Special Ability: Characters called Zero suffers a -1 to their defence value when the target of an attack from is character.
Mecha Ability: Siegfried. Roll a d6 at the start of your turn, on a 4, 5 or 6 this character gains a +1 to its attack value, on a 6 it gain +1 to its damage value and on a 1 it suffers a -1 to all its combat values. If this is not rolled for it suffers a -1 to all its combat values.
The next Code Geass idea should be a pilot card for a generic Black Knight Pilot.
Next is Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail. Natsu Dragneel, also known by the nickname "Salamander", is the main male protagonist of Fairy Tail. Aside from performing missions for his guild, Natsu travels with his partner Happy in search of Igneel, a dragon who raised Natsu in his youth before disappearing seven years prior to the start of the series. He is a Dragon Slayer, a wizard who can perform an ancient form of magic, or "Lost Magic", that grants him the physical properties of a dragon. He specialises in a particular form of this magic called Fire Dragon Slayer magic, which gives him powers such as breathing fire, emitting flames from any part of his body to attack his opponent, being physically immune to fire, and ingesting any flame besides his own for nourishment. When he consumes magical substances containing numerous elemental properties besides fire, such as lacrima infused with Etherion, Natsu is able to achieve a more powerful form of Dragon Slayer magic called "Dragon Force", which turns his skin around his eyes and on his forearms scaly, and increases both his physical and magical power. Eating any other form of magic temporarily grants Natsu the ability to combine the properties of that magic with his own (such as eating Laxus's lightning magic, which electrifies his body). However, eating any magic besides fire causes Natsu to become sick for several days after the effects of his transformation wear off. Natsu is generally carefree and reckless in nature, and causes most of the collateral damage Fairy Tail is blamed for. However, he is extremely loyal to his guildmates and attacks anyone who tries to harm or insult them. Although he comes across as thick-headed to several other characters, he is a perceptive tactician in battle and can quickly deduce his opponents' strengths and weaknesses. He suffers from motion sickness when riding on vehicles of any sort (trains, carriages, boats, etc.), as well as when carried by others. The only exception to this rule is Happy, who Natsu claims is his friend and not a "moving object". He is prone to challenging his guild's S-Class wizards to petty fights to test his strength, in which he is often defeated with little effort from his opponents. When properly motivated to fight (e.g. saving the lives of his friends) he is recognized as one of the most powerful wizards in the guild. He should have Charge, Leap Climb, Energy Explosion, Pulse Wave, Shape Change, Close Combat Expert, Toughness, Combat Reflex, a traits called "Travel Sick" and a special called "Dragon Slayer".
Travel Sick: If Natsu Dragneel is carried by a character not called Happy, place an action token on him.
Dragon Slayer: Natsu Dragneel has Invulnerability against range attack. Each time Natsu Dragneel is hit by a range attack place a
He should have about six clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 9, Attack 10, Defence 17, Damage 2 and range 4 with one target. His team ability should be the Fairy Tail one and his keywords should be Fairy Tail Guild and Mystical. The next Fairy Tail idea should be Happy.
Next is a Cyborg Thug from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone. Many criminal organisations in Ghost in the Shell use Cyborg Thugs as hinden guards. This will be a split dial figure, one range type and one melee type. Both should have Invulnerability and Toughness. The range type should have Energy Explosion and Range Combat Expert, while the melee type should have Super Strength, Close Combat Expert and Battle Fury. They each should have about five clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 6, Attack 10, Defence 18, Damage 3 and range 8 with two targets. Their team ability should be the Wild Card one and their keywords should be Robot and Brute. The next Ghost in the Shell idea should be a card, but type of card?
Next is Quincy Rosencreutz from Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040. The GENOM Chief Executive Officer, Quincy wishes for humans and Boomers to live together peacefully. Though suspicious of Mason's activities, he believes he can control and maintain Mason. With his body badly decayed, he uses tubes and wires to keep him alive, afraid of using more advanced implants. Mason's boomer secretary later kills him by disconnecting a vital cord in his life-support system. He shares his surname with Christian Rosenkreuz, legendary founder of the Rosicrucians. He should have a trait called "The Boomers are my Children", Mastermind, Probably Control, Perplex and Stealth.
The Boomers are my Children: You can treat the Robot keyword as if it is a Named keyword if Quincy Rosencreutz is point of you force at the beginning of the game. When Quincy Rosencreutz uses Preplex or Probably Control, he ignores line of sight and range if he targets someone with the Robot keyword.
He should have about four clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 3, Attack 6, Defence 14, Damage 0 and range 0. He should not have a team ability and his keywords should be Robot and Ruler. The next Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 idea should be an AD Police K-Suit.
Next is the Brother of Ninja Murasaki from Dragon Ball. Ninja Murasaki's brothers hind in the background ununtil he "activates" his clone technique, where they pose as doubles of him. They should have Stealth, about three clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 8, Attack 8, Defence 16, Damage 1 and range 4 with one target. They should not have a team ability and their keywords should be Red Ribbon Army, Clone and Martial Artist. The next Dragon Ball idea should be Android 8.
Next is Yumichika Ayasegawa from Bleach. Yumichika is a narcissist who judges almost everyone and everything by beauty. He is also incredibly vain. Yumichika is a powerful combatant and wanted to become the third Seat of his Division, as he thought the kanji for the number three was the most beautiful. However, Ikkaku Madarame took it, so Yumichika took the fifth Seat, as he thought that the kanji for five resembled three. However, he is at times shown to be caring and helpful to others. He is extremely loyal to his friend Ikkaku, even going as far as to abandon his post at a pillar in the fake Karakura Town to try and save Ikkaku from being killed and threatening his allies who try to stop him. He cares deeply about what Ikkaku and Kenpachi think and hides the true nature of his Zanpakutō from them for fear of being hated. Despite his flamboyent nature, Yumichika has shown to be an insightful person, able to quickly pick up on a person's nature and methods. He should have a trait "Partner", Leap Climb, Blades, Steal Energy (last click), a special called "Flash Step" and Toughness.
Partner: When a friendly character named Ikkaku Madame is adjacent to Yumichika Ayasegawa they both modify their defence values by +1 if not already modified by this effect.
Flash Step: If there is an opposing character in line of sight of Yumichika Ayasegawa that has a higher points value than him, Yumichika Ayasegawa can use Hypersonic.
He should have about six clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 9, Attack 10, Defence 18, Damage 2 and range 4 with one target. His team ability should be the Bleach one and his keywords should be Soul Reaper, Division 11 and Warrior. The next Bleach idea should be Sõken Ishida.
Lastly is the DreamClix Dial Designs page update news. This week I updated the page once. It was on Saturday, as I only worked 20 minutes that day. The update was the last of the two Cosplay Deviants updates. Here are the new things added from the update:
By the look of things the Dial Generator on HCRealms might not be returning as the generator was a third party thing. If I can not find a suitable Dial Generator, I while have to try building one in access which will take a very long time. If I have to build one myself, DreamClix will be heavily cut down until the database dial generator is built. I would be doing only three dial ideas on HeroClix MK posts, four ideas on DreamClix Special posts, one or two ideas or cosplay cards images on Cosmic Cosplay posts and no DreamClix Dial Designs page update. Well that is it for this week. Until next time, Mecha Up.
