Welcome to “Gaming with Neoscream”. This is my
weekly gaming report and event write up post for miniature games, RPGs, card
games and computer games. Sadly it is a short one this week.
This Week's Events
On Monday I went to Wargames Workshop MK for a game
of Zombicide. Due to waiting for people to arrive for Zombicide, me, Bob and Dave
played a game of Evil Baby Orphanage from Wyrd Miniatures. We did not get to
finish it as people turned for Zombicide, but it was quite an interesting card
game to play. Sadly no George W Bush Jr baby. Maybe they need an expansion.
Zombicide Season 3, coming to KickStarter SOON |
For Zombicide we had eight players. We played
"The Great Escape" mission. Sadly we never finished the game due to
the store closing at 5PM. However we did get to the exit to the prison.
I will be down at Wargames Workshop MK next Monday
to practice some Warmachine/Hoards for Saturday's tournament.
Due to the brothers being sick this week, there was
not HeroClix. The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. scenario has been pushed back until
next week.

Its Coming!!!!! |
Wargames Workshop MK has a £2 gaming fee or £4 with
a pack of Magic the Gathering cards unless it is a paid tournament run by
Guardians of Tyr (not including High Command). Weekday events normally start
“playing” at 7PM.
For rules for Guardians of Tyr tournaments and
leagues as well as information on pre booking your place in tournament. Pre
booking is highly recommended so they know how many people are coming. So
please go to their website which there is a link to it under my links section
which are located on the right hand side of this blog.
York House has a £3 on the day gaming fee and a £5
fee for a year’s membership. However the first day is free and they only take
yearly membership fee at the start of the year. The Hall officially opens at
7PM, but normally people start arrived 15 to 20 minutes early.
House Rules
For a long time I have been wanting to rewrite up
the HeroClix MK house rules and final I have gotten around to do it. So here
they are:
1.
NO crossing
universe. For example Marvel and DC. Things like Marvel 616 and Marvel Ultimate
is OK.
2.
NO multiples of
the some character unless it happens in the comics (often).
3.
Feats can only
be equipped to pre card figures. Plus feats can only be used it themed teams.
4.
All figures
released by WizKidz are legal, including purple rings.
5.
If the team is
themed and has no feats, they gain an extra 1% to their build. For example in a
300 point game, a themed team with no feats can build a team of up to 303
points.
There use to be a rule that you had to be a themed team to
use ATAs, however this has been made into a official rule in this year's
rulebook. So it no longer counts as being a house rule.
Until next time, Keep Rolling.
