Gaming with Neoscream: 29th June 2014

Welcome to “Gaming with Neoscream”. This is my weekly gaming report and event write up post for miniature games, RPGs, card games and computer games.

“This Week's Events”

On Monday I went down to Wargames Workshop MK for the second week of the DreadBall League. There was a little change to the league rules which is listed in the "House Rules" section. This week my Battle Angels (Season Two Corporation) team were up against Dave Season Two Corporation team. I managed to win this game by four points, however poor Zone-Tan was killed. I earned a whopping 18mc from the game. I used the money to replace Zone-Tan with a new Striker Rise Kujikawa and two Coaching dice. Sadly no one went up a rank this week. Next week I am up against Jim who had a Season One Corporation team, however he still needs to play his game against Ian first as they never played this week.

On Thursday I had HeroClix. It was meant to be "Army of Three", however due to Adrian not being around, it was pushed back a week. Instead we brought four 500 point teams, with loss than a day and a half to make them. Dam it less time for Persona 4. Well anyway there was no Michael as well this week so me and Darren had four games and randomly determined which teams we were using.
The first game was between my Days of Future Past team and his X-Force team. I last this game, however Wolverine does seem to be a nice piece.
The second game was between my Sentinel team and his New Mutants team. My Sentinels managed to take down the mutant threat with no trouble.
The third game was between my Stark Industries team and his X-Factor team. Due to Forge's special, my team was destroyed.
The last game ended up being a classic comic book match up between my Brotherhood of Mutants team and his X-Men team. Sadly due to the lack of flyers my team ended up dying.

Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4
With Persona 4 this week I have competed Kanji’s dungeon, The Steamy Bath House, and I am now almost halfway thru Rise’s dungeon, Marukyu Striptease. Yes, her dungeon is a strip club and even worse, one of the monsters, Miss Gene, drops an item called Rubbery Object. Face Palm. I have almost maxed out the Strength Social Link, both the Magician (Yosuke) and Priestess (Yukiko) Social Links are at five as well. I cannot wait until I can work on the Lovers (Rise) Social Link. With the Let’s Play I have got past the Void Quest dungeon and the Summer Festival.

This KickStarter will be ending on Wednesday so let us see what can be unlocked between now and then.

Neoscream's Life: 16th to 22nd June 2014

MS-14J ReGelgu
Welcome to the Neoscream's Life post. This is a weekly post of some of the things I have done during last week and news on the great Geek Goddess, AJ Lee.

“Life”

I managed to see X-Men Days of Future Past on Tuesday, but sadly it cost me more than I was planning. Beep. However it is a really great film as *SPOILERS* it was fantastic to see the old group back together again *SPOILERS*. Oh and Transformers 4 it out now as well. So I get to see it soon.

I finally managed to pick up Persona 4 the game this week, which I started playing on Friday. I have been watching a Let's Play of the game on YouTube all week. It is by KZ. On the the Let's Play I have gotten to, by the end of Sunday, the team first goes into Rise Kujikawa’s dungeon, the Marukyu Striptease, and in the game I had got to, by the end of Sunday where the party can enter Kanji Tatsumi's dungeon, the Steamy Bathhouse. I am enjoying the game but not too sure what Social Links I should try to max first. As KZ has Max out the Sun Social Link in the Let's Play, I will most likely not focus on that any time soon. I might ever go for work on the Strength Social Link and wait for Rise's one to be locked or Max out Yukiko Amagi's one or just get the main characters up to rank five and wait for Rise's one. OK, OK, it is mainly, do I go for Yukiko or Rise. Oh also I just heard that there is a new Persona 4 anime coming out, based of the extended PS Vita version of the game called Persona 4 Golden. The Persona 4 Golden game added a new major character, bikes, a garden to grow items, several new Social links, new social events for the team, new difficultly levels, new Personas, the team gains new Ultimate Personas, customs for TV world battles and a epilogue..

“WWE Money in the Bank”

As of Sunday there are currently only three matches listed for Money in the Bank. First one is a Ladder match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The seven contenders are Roman Reigns, John Cena, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, U.S. Champion Sheamus, Cesaro and Alberto Del Rio. I am wanting to see Roman Reigns win this, however I am fine with John Cena or Sheamus winning it. HOWEVER,  I do not want that head case Bray Wyatt winning it.
The second match is the Tag Team Champions the Usos defending their titles against the other members of the Wyatt Family. Go Usos.
The three is the Money in the Bank match. Sadly their is currently only one person in it at the moment as of Sunday, the back stabbing Seth Rollins.
By time this post goes out there will most likely be more people in the Money in the Bank match and more matches. However as I have not seen Raw from the 23rd yet and this is a post about last week I have not listed them or checked for them.

“AJ Lee News”

AJ and Punk have officially married and now are rumours that AJ might be pregnant now. There has not been any official word on this so it is still a rumour. If the rumour is real than it is a massive congratulations to the happy couple. Sadly if it is true it will mean that there will be no return from AJ for a long time, if she does return. We will have to wait and see.

Also AJ is going to be in WWE 2k15. From what I heard the graphics are meant to be a hell of a lot more realistic, however it is a next gen game by the sound of it (X-Box One and PS4).

Gaming with Neoscream: 22nd June 2014

Welcome to “Gaming with Neoscream”. This is my weekly gaming report and event write up post for miniature games, RPGs, card games and computer games.

“This Week's Events”

On Monday I went down to Wargames Workshop MK for the first week of the DreadBall League. The rules for the league rules will be listed in the "House Rules" section. I decided to go for my Battle Angels (Season Two Corporation) team. I spent the 20mc on the usual for them, a card and a offencive coach (AJ). My first week game was against Ian who was using a Season One Corporation team. I was the home play and on my first turn I scored a four pointer with Zone-Tan. Then Ian tried taking down my Strikers (and Guard) and he kept control of the ball for several rushes, but I managed to score a three pointer with Caxx to win the game with a whitewash. I earned a whopping 20mc from the game. I used the money on a second guard and a second card. Also Caxx earned Man Woman of the Match. This meant she went up a rank and she pick up the ability Jump. This would have been great during the game. Next week I am up against Dave who is use a Season Two Corporation team as well and on the week after that I am against Jim who had a Season One Corporation team.

Like I said last week HeroClix was cancelled this week due to the Football. Wast of time due to England losing again.

House Rules

This week I have the rules for the DreadBall League I am in that is being run by Rob Taylor, one of Mantic's Pathfinders. The post first game stuff is is not set in stone yet as Rob could change his mind.

Pick a team. You have 20mc to spend on improvements. You can not buy ranks for your players, but you can spend all 20mc on a MVP. That MVP stay on your team for the League, unless it was killed off. The MVP does not gain experience and you cannot use the cheap revival on them. This is the only way to get MVPS.
Underdog bonus can be spent on one game only cards and dice, as well as Free Agents. Free Agents do gain experience and if they are the same race as your team you can buy them at the end of the game at their value by the end of it.
Everyone are split into two groups for the first three weeks and then on the last week the two groups will play against each other. Basically the first placed player in group one will play against the first placed player of group two, the second placed player in group one will play against the second placed player of group two and so on.

Until next time, Keep Rolling.
