"You WILL want to see my movie get release!" |
Welcome to “Gaming with Neoscream”. This is my
weekly gaming report and event write up post for miniature games, RPGs, card
games and computer games.
“This Week's Events”
On Thursday I went to York House for HeroClix. The
Scenario was "Deadpool Corps.". Sadly I only have the old Marvel
Mutant Mayhem REV set of Deadpool. Due to poor Keywords in my collection and
build, I went for a non themed team. The team was a bit cheesy but had a flaw
of having only one real attacker. The teams are shown in the "Armies"
section. It was the first time in a long time we had both brothers.
On the first round I was up against Michael who was
using an X-Men themed team. My team managed to wipe out his team with only
losing a Con Artist. Also Darren S won his game against Adrian.
On the second round I was up against Darren S who
was using a Thunderbolts themed team. Sadly I lost this game like normal again
Darren S. Also Michael won his game against his brother Adrian.
Next months card |
On the third and final round I was up against Adrian
who was using a Heroes for Hire themed team. I managed to kill half of his team
but he did wiped out my whole force. The ATA is too over powered with those
high attack values. Also Darren S won his game against Michael.
Over all Darren S won this week, but I did get
second.
Next week should be "Daemons and Angels".
500 points. At least one figure must be or treated as an angel or a Daemon.
On Friday I went to Wargames Workshop MK for this
month’s High Command tournament. We had a great turn out this month with seven
people. As Ian was running it and we had the players, he didn't play this
month. We had three two player games this month. I won my first game but lost
the other two. The second game I lost badly.
Next month will have some special deck building
rules. Pick four detachments instead of three. However there is no Army deck
(Resource deck is what we been calling it). Your starting hand is the top six
cards from the Reinforcements deck.
On Saturday I went to Wargames Workshop MK again but
this time it was for the Zombicide tournament. Sadly due to people being away
and the fact that it with Zombicide, Dreadball got cancelled. If it did happen
I would still be doing Zombicide as I was after the Kyoko survivor. We were
using the Gaming Night Kit 1 campaign. We had a turn out of seven people who were
me, Bob, Dave, Adrian, Michael and two others. Ian was there as well but he
decided to run thing and played as the extra survivors in the first mission.
It's Molotov time |
In the first mission we were split into two tables.
I was on the same table as Dave and Michael while the others were on the other
table. Both Dave, Michael and one of the extra survivors died within the first
couple of turns. Ian gave the other two extra survivors to Dave and Michael so
that they could continue playing. However what ever happens with these
survivors did not count towards the tournament. Sadly Dave died again due to
unseen problems with Fatties, but me and Michael managed to complete the
mission. I managed to win a ton of points from the mission almost four time the
next highest player which was Bob. The other table did not win their game. We then stopped for lunch.
When we came back from lunch we started the second mission. Ian decided put
us all on one table this time and add one of the Kyoko as the seventh survivor.
Sadly we failed the mission.
On the third mission Ian decided to include the
Zombivors. Luckily we never needed them as we all survived by the time we ran
out of time. However because of one of the players going off to try to gain
more achievements we could not win the game.
Over all I won the tournament with a whopping 210
points, Bob got second with (if I am right) 145 points and poor Dave sadly got
last place with over 60 points.
With Persona 4 this week I have competed the Heaven
dungeon for a second time and unlocked the last dungeon (*Spoiler* well second
to last *Spoiler *). I did get to about a third or halfway into the dungeon but sadly I died from a unexpected powerful area attack.
