Welcome to “Gaming News from Neoscream”. This is my
weekly gaming news post for miniature games, RPGs, some card games and computer
games. I hope everybody had a Merry Christmas.
“Gaming News”
First off is the Privateer Press news. They have
release a list of new releases for March which will be a quite month for them
The releases will be Iron Kingdoms Unleashed Roleplaying Game Adventure Kit,
the Warmachine All-in-One Army Box for Protectorate of Menoth, a redo of the
Khador Unit Kossite Woodsmen, the Hordes All-in-One Army Box for Legion of
Everblight; the Minion Gatorman Battle Engine Sacral Vault and issue 59 of No
Quarter.
With Tactics new, they have now added a Warcaster and
three Warjacks have been added the Mercenary. This has made it possible to use
a pure Mercenary force in the game now.
Xmas Special Pinup Twilight Knight |
Next is the new version Paranoia news. Playtest rules
in PDF format is being sent out to backers at the right pledge levels.
Now for the
Kingdom Death news. On Christmas Eve,
they have added three new products to the store and restocked on three old
productions on their web store. The new ones are Xmas Special Pinup Twilight
Knight (unlimited stock until the end of the year), a set of Warlords (one
Female, one Male) and Flower Witch (sold out). And the restock were Twilight
Order Knight, Twilight Relic Knight and Deserter. The Xmas Special Pinup
Twilight Knight comes with stuff to be used in Monster. It is a new piece of
equipment called Axmas. I do plan on getting this.
The Retail version of Shark from Guild Ball |
Next is the Guild Ball news. OK, I have been a bit bad with
reporting about Guild Ball, but here is an update. They have posted CAD images
of a couple of retail versions of Captains and a couple of the extra players
that are not in the team sets. They have sculpted about 99% of the figures.
However I have a strong feeling that they will not get everything done by
January 2015.
Now for the
Battle System news. They have revealed the Sci-Fi version of their Star
Dimensional Gate from their Fantasy Dungeon KickStarter. I am so glad that I
have ordered a set of them.
The Sci-Fi Dimensional Gate from Battle System |
Next is the
Mantic news. The pledge managers for both Kings
of War Second Edition and Dungeon Saga: The Dwarf King’s Quest should be up
online in the start of the New Year. Also about two thirds of Deadzone wave
three has been shipped.
Now for the Yashima: Legend of the Kami Master news.
Most of the stuff for the main box set is in production, however the extra
stuff are taking longer than planned. They might have to push the shipment date
or slit the shipment into two waves.
Next is the OVA news. Sadly the book is being delayed
by the printers. So they are taking the time to make some changes like some
layout adjustments, additional examples, text tweaks, and updates to several
characters.
Now for the
HeroClix news. Well no real news, I just wanted to say that sadly this year
WizKids have not done the twelve days of ClixMas. It was always a great thing
to see up and coming HeroClix and Dice Masters products.
Oh, there is a Yu-Gi-Oh contest happening on there websate to win the whole of wave two of the HeroClix stuff, a ton of DVDs and a Blu-Ray. Sadly it it OWN open to people living in the USA.
Lastly for a
bit of other gaming related news. If you had not checked the "KickStarter
Dates" section last week, Bubblegum Crisis
Ultimate Edition Blu-Ray Set had started shipping. On Monday of this week, I
received my copy. Why do I have this under gaming while it is Anime based news?
Because in comes with ta PDF copy of the old RPG version on the discs too.

Arcadia Quest heroes and two three Deadball figures. Next week the “Painting and
