Labels A to Z, Part 14

Clix Campaign - NSL - A campaign is a continuing storyline or set of adventures, typically involving the same characters. The purpose of the continuing storyline is to introduce a further aspect into the game: that of development, improvement, and growth (or degeneration) of the characters. In a campaign, a single session becomes a scene or an act within an overall story arc. At its inception, a campaign may or may not have a defined conclusion. A campaign by definition spans more than one session of play. Certain aspects of the game are nearly always constant throughout a campaign: the setting, the players, and the gamemaster. The gamemaster for a campaign is said to run the campaign. I use this label for this Heroclix campaign that we were doing.

Contest - NSL - A contest is an event in which two or more individuals or teams engage in competition against each other, often for a prize or similar incentive. I used this label when I was talking about Blaire's male model contest which CuddaHunter won.

CosmicBreak - NSL/MSW - CosmicBreak is an MMO third person shooter featuring massive PvP battles of up to 30 vs. 30 players at one time. Familiar WASD control and fast-paced Arena action makes CosmicBreak quick and easy to get into for any gamer. There is over 50 unique playable robots with over 300 mix-matchable parts makes for endless customization options. Every robot has different abilities, and many feature special weapons and collectable rare parts. Using the powerful robot assembly system, you'll be able to build unique robots that are yours and yours alone.

Extra - MSW - These are game rules that do not fix into the other rules chapters.

Ground Vehicle - MSW - These are standard land based vehicles that move on wheels, tracks and ever hover in later levels. They form the support side to your force. The three main types of Ground Vehicles at the moment are: Tanks - These carry powerful long range weapon and thick armour, but are fasts. They normally have the ability to move and fire with Heavy Weapon with not any heavy penalties. These are normally Size Class 1 but there are some Size Class 2 ones too. Transports - These units can carry infantry and some vehicles to the places they are needed. There are normally Size Class 0 for standard sized ones or 1 for large ones. Jeeps - These are small vehicles many used as scouting and command based units. But they can carry a small number of infantry, normally only one unit. There are normally Size Class 0.

Other label still to cover at the point of time: Infantry, Mecha, Necromunda, Small SRACU, Tank and Updates.
