Decks: Yu-Gi-Oh! Machine Dragons

Welcome to a new series of posts. Currently there is only post posts planned, both Yu-Gi-Oh! ones. However I am thinks on maybe doing my Magic decks next. I have always liked robots and machines ever seen Transformers and when I started collecting Yu-Gi-Oh! cards I wanted to make a Machine deck. The deck has changed over the years. It original was based around the Machine Kings, however things changed when I got Chimeratech Overdragon. Back then Cyber Dragon was Semi-Limited (you are only aloud two copies of the card in your deck), however not long after I got my second Cyber Dragon, they became Limited, (you are only aloud one copy of the card in your deck). I was about the give up on the Chimeratech based machine deck, but then I remembered the Proto-Cyber Dragon. They could take over Cyber Dragon's job, as long as they are on the field. So I rebuilt it using Proto-Cyber Dragon and I also add a Tuner monster for Power Tool Dragon. Last week I dug out my Yu-Gi-Oh! decks and rechecked the banned lists. Cyber Dragon is now unlimited  (you are aloud up to three copies of the card in your deck) and Heavy Storm is banned now. So I had to do a little work on my deck. Hear is the current deck.

There is only two Cyber Dragons and one Jinzo in the deck as I have not gotten around to or the money to get them. The Jade Knights are their to help get out X-Head. If I know I am going up against a Warrior deck I can swoop one of my monsters for Kinetic Soldier. I have been looking at some of the new machine stuff and I like the look of some of the Genex and the Ally of Justice stuff. Some major upgrade ideas come to made. Like replacing some or all the X-Head Cannon with Genex Neutron to help get machine tuner into my hand. Replace Morphtronic Scopen with Ally Of Justice Cyclone Creator and/or Genex Remote and add Ally Of Justice Cycle Readerto the Side deck for anti-light. Also if I add DNA Transplant to the deck to turn Dark into Light or Light into Dark, I could add Genex like Genex Ally Crusher and Genex Ally Powercell into the deck, as well as some Synchro monsters like Genex Ally Triforce to the extras deck and Genex Ally Duradark to the side deck. This would turn the deck into a Light/Dark Machine deck. A rebuilt main deck to to a 40 card deck using these changes with no worries about money, the main deck might look like this:

Monsters
3x Cyber Dragon
Blowback Dragon
3x Genex Neutron
2x Healing Wave Generator
3x Genex Ally Crusher
3x DUCKER Mobile Cannon
3x Genex Remote
2x Genex Ally Powercell

Spells
Limiter Removal
2x Mage Power
2x Power Bond
2x Polymerization
Nobleman of Crossout
Lightning Vortex
Hammer Shot
Junk Barrage
Fairy Meteor Crush
Mist Body
Monster Reborn
Mystical Space Typhoon
Reload

Traps
Magic Cylinder
3x DNA Transplant

I checked on a card site called Kool Kingdom how much it would cost me to do this these upgrades and it would cost me about $100. Please note that this does not include the new card for the side and extra decks. This is many because Genex Neutrons and the third Cyber Dragon each costing just over £20 a card. With out them it would cost about £10 to £15. So if I do upgrade, most likey go for a Proto-Cyber Dragon instead of the third Cyber Dragon and the X-Head Cannons instead of Genex Neutron. Well that is it for this post, the next day off work will be the start of a new series of DreamClix Dial Designs. Until next time, have fun.
