Heroclix 30th June, Unlucky 7 one average roll

Welcome to another Heroclix post. This week’s previews from Wizkids were of Mister Hyde, Cobra, Gorgon (not the Inhuman one), Phobos Stonewall and Slingshot. There is also a leaked preview of the Super Rare Invisable Woman. Mister Hyde seems to be a good piece however Cobra is not that fantastic. He was designed to be a support piece to Mister Hyde but never of them share a keyword. Invisable Woman is an intresting piece but I do wish she had Stealth on her first click. And the others are ok piece too.

On other news, personal news, I have ordered several figures with some of the money I got on eBay from selling old Yu-Gi-Oh cards. The mystical Doom from Secrete Invasion, The Bold and the Brave alter ego Batman, three Zamarons, Queen Aga'po, Carol Ferris and the Green Lantern Fast Forces set. More Lantern teams coming soon.

This week's game was 400 points, no card (Feats, ATAs, Special Objects and Byestander Tokens) and no figure over 125 points. I deciede to go for an Avengers team. My team was:

Spider-Man (Secrete Invasion) 50
Justice (Vet Supernova) 94
Aaron Stack (Giant Size X-Men) 106
Black Panther (Rook Universe) 27
Scarlet Witch (Avengers) 35
Hawkeye (Vet Fantastic Forces) 84
= 396 points and four re-rolls.

As there was no Adrain this week there was only three rounds this week. On the first round I was up ageist Micheal. He was using a non themed DC team who were:

Batman (Justice League) 75
Liberty Belle (Crisis) 84
Kyle Rayner (Crisis) 182
Roy Harper (Crisis) 53
= 394 points and no re-rollss.

Yes Kyle Rayner was over the points limit, however Darren yet him of as he had nothing else to play. At first I was doing well I took out Roy Harper and landed a nasty blow on Kyle Rayner. However after that I could not roll a seven or more at all, ever with Probability Control and theme team re-rolls. Because of that he destroied my team. The next round I was up ageist Darren. He was using an X-Men team who were:

Cyclops (Giant Size X-Men) 110
Wolverine (Giant Size X-Men) 103
Psylocke (Giant Size X-Men) 74
Armor (Giant Size X-Men) 66
Havok (Giant Size X-Men) 44
=397 point and four re-rolls.

I was in a bit of a bad mood from the lost round and that led to several misjudgements which cost me the game. On the last round I was ageist Adam. He was using a non themed DC team who were:

Per Degaton (Arkham Asylum) 90
Lyssa Drak (Arkham Asylum) 72
Bronze Tiger (Justice League) 60
Clayface (Exp Collateral Damage) 69
The Joker (Exp Icons) 88
= 379 points and no re-rolls.

Do not ask why he did not go for the veteran version of Joker as I do not know but he had the points for him. At first it I was doing ok until I needed to roll sevens to hit the Joker when he has not got anyone to mastermind the damage to and then I could not hit for squat. I gave up after awhile as it got to a point where I needed stupied high numbers to hit while I could not get a seven (average dice roll). Over all I had too much bad luck today which lead to three loses. Next week will be 500 points, no figure above 149 point, all figures must the Avenger or JLA TA or Keyword (or veriant keyword). You can bring two teams.

For this week's DreamClix I am doing dial designs for U-Men Attack Craft from the X-Men anime, Weapon Mister Black Star from Soul Eater, Manimo from CosmicBreak, Charlotte Dunois from IS: Infinite Stratos and Nana from Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. And design ideas for five X-Men anime characters to speed in up as there is a lot to do. This will be the same next week too.

First off are the dial designs for U-Men Attack Craft, Weapon Mister Black Star, Manimo, Charlotte Dunois and Nana.

Next we have Cyclops from the X-Men Anime. The Giant Size X-Men version is good enough with a couple of minor changes like no opening click of Willpower.

Next is Emma Frost from the X-Men anime. Now this will be an intresting one. I want a way to do both her standard and diamon forms. At first I was thinking of using the Morph Mechanic, but there is too many characters in the show already to add more. Then I came up with an idea. Give her a trait to place and remove a diamond token on her card and have her specials change if she has the token on her or not. So she should have a trait called "Secondary Mutation", two specials called "Body and Mind" and "Trained Expert" and Defened.
Secondary Mutation: At the begain of your, if Emma has less than two action counters on her, you may add or remove a diamond token on to her card. Maximum of one diamond token can be placed onto Emma.
Body and Mind: If Emma does not have a Diamond token on her she can use Mind Control and Incapacitate. If Emma has a Diamon token on her she can use Impervious.
Trained Expert: If Emma does not have a Diamon token on her she can use Perplex and Outwit, but not both on the same turn. If Emma has a Diamon token on her she can use Close Combat Expert and she has Battle Fury.
She should have about six clicks of health and starting values of Movement 8, Attack 11, Defence 17, Damage 2 and Range 8 with one target. She should not have a TA and her keywords should be, Hellfire Club and X-Men.

Next is Mastermind from the X-Men anime. The one from Mutations and Monsters is good enough for him, however I would add Shape Change and Plasticity as part of a trait for him and drop Barrier and Super Senses.

Next is Professor Yui Sasaki from the X-Men anime. Yui is basically a Japanese version of Moira MacTaggert. To prevent her son Takeo powers from going out of control she helped the U-Men ageist her better nature to gain the resources to contain his powers and to one day cure him from his mutate abilities. She should have Stealth at the start of her dial, Perplex and Outwit. She should have about four click of health and starting values of Movement 6, Attack 8, Defence 16, Damage 1 and Range 0. She should not have a TA and her keywords should be Scientist, U-Men and X-Men.

Finally we have Takeo from the X-Men Anime. He is the son of Yui Sasaki and Charles Xavier with the ability to change reality just like Proteus, Moira MacTaggert’s son.  He should have a trait called "Change Realalisty", the Giant symbol, Psychic Blast, Expolite Weakness and Improvius.
Change Reality: Other characters cannot use Perplex, Probability Control and Outwit. Takeo can use Outwit and Probability Control.
He should have about ten clicks of health and starting values of Movement 6, Attack 11, Defence 17, Damage 4 and Range 12 with two targets. He should have the Mystic TA and the keyword Cosmic.

Well that is it for this week, until next time, have fun.
