Heroclix 28th of July, DreamClix special, Ops I have to do it again

Welcome to this week's HeroClix post (again). Due to the fact that were was no Darren this week, there was no HeroClix this week. On HeroClix next news this week, just after I posted last week's HeroClix post Wizkids started posting previews from the Superman set. These are of a Superman, General Zod and Zod's two minions Non and Ursa. All of them look great, but Superman is as broken as Icons. Also all three sports a useful new keyword Kryptonian which could be useful. Also as a last minute update (I have to rewrite most of the post as it was mistakenly delete) there is a preview of Black Adam today. It was designed by 2010 World HeroClix Champion, George Massu.

Next week will be the first week of a three week Déjà vu event. Pick a figure, that figure must be used each week but no other figure can be used more than once. The first week will be 300 points, the second week will be 400 points and the third and final week will be 500 points.

In this week's DreamClix I will be doing dial ideas for Tanaka, Vampire Cat Swarm, Young Blade and Baron Howard from the Blade Anime; Helmeppo from One Piece; Rabbit Mob duo from Dragon Ball; Hideki Ide from Death Note and Saito from Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex.

But first we have the dial designs for Beast, Storm and Wolverine from the X-Men Anime; Zero Saber Girl from CosmicBreak; Leon from Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040; Misa Amane from Death Note and the Lancelot from Code Geass.

Next we have Tanaka and his vampire cats. Tanaka is a special breed of vampire from Japan known as Suikou that have cat like features in his monster form but is skilled in under water combat. He also commands an army of vampire cats. He should haves special summon ability called "Summon Help" which will make him the first character that is not from Naruto to have this ability. Also he should have the Swim symbol, a special called "Under Water Combat", Super Senses and Perplex.
Summon Help: Give Tanaka a power action if he is in hindering terrain, SUMMON two Vampire Cat Swarm pods next to Tanaka, max of four can be on the field under your control. If Tanaka is KOed, remove all Vampire Cat Swarm pogs his controller has from the field. (Yes this sports new wording to the ability).
Underwater Combat: If Tanaka begins the turn in water terrain he can use Charge.
He should have about five clicks of health and starting values of Movement 10, Attack 9, Defense 18, Damage 3 and Range 0. He should not have a TA and his keywords should be Scientist, Monster and Existence. The Vampire Cat Swarm should have Hypersonic, Close Combat Expert, Super Senses and values of Movement 6, Attack 8, Defence 17 and Damage 2. They should have the Summon and Animal keywords. The Summon keyword as well as the keyword Clone, are special generic keywords that will be use in special abilities in the future as showing how the pod was summoned.

Next is a young Eric Brook from the Blade anime. This figure will be when the Eric (Blade) was found by Vampire Hunter Noah Van Helsing. Noah took him under his wing, not as a student, but as a partner in vampire hunting. He should have Toughness and Battle Furry. He should four clicks of health and starting values of Movement 6, Attack 9, Defense 17, Damage 2 and Range 0. He should not have a TA and his keywords should be Past, Monster, Kid and Teen.

Next is Baron Howard from the Blade anime. He is a named vampire Noah battled in a flash back of Blade's past. He rides a house leading a band on vampires. he should have the Transporter ability, Charge, Blades, Mastermind and Leadership. He should about five clicks of health and starting values of Movement 12, Attack 9, Defense 17, Damage 2 and Range 0. He should not have a TA and his keywords should be Past, Monster and Ruler.

Next is Helmeppo from One Piece. Helmeppo is Axe-Hand Morgan's son. Once a spoiled child who took advantage of his father's status, he later becomes a Marine Chief Petty Officer under the command of Vice Admiral Garp and partnered with Master Chief Petty Officer Coby. This version of Helmeppo is of when we first see him, as the spoiled rich brat. He should have a special second click that show him with his wolf Soro. OK that was a flash back on why Zoro was imprison, but it boosts the character a bit. This should be a special called "Soro". The only ability for the rest of his dial I can think of is Mastermind.
Soro: Helmeppo has the Duo ability and Blades.
He should four clicks of health and starting values of Movement 6, Attack 8 (9 on Soro click), Defense 16, Damage 1 and Range 0. He should not have a TA and his keyword should be Marine.

Next is Rabbit Mob duo from Dragon Ball. The whole group, apart for their boss, are humans who wear fake black rabbit ears and carry around machine guns. While not very magical they are skilled shooters and very brutal for average humans. These our the minions of Monster Carrot. They should have the Duo ability, Energy Explosion and Toughness. They should have about four clicks of health and starting values of Movement 6, Attack 8, Defense 17, Damage 2 and Range 6 with one target. They should not have a TA and their keywords should be Rabbit Mob and Soldier.

Next is Hideki Ide from Death Note. Hideki Ide was a member of the Kira Investigative Team at the beginning but left as he does not support the way L does things, but he came back when Shuichi Aizawa rejoined the team. He should have Willpower, about four clicks of health and starting values of Movement 6, Attack 8, Defense 17, Damage 2 and Range 6 with one target. His TA should be the PD one and his keywords should be Police, Detective and Kira Investigative Team.

Lastly we have Saito from Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex. Among the members of Section 9, Saito is regarded as one of the least cyberized. He can handle any automatic firearm with deadly accuracy and precision, but his primary role is as the unit's tactical sniper. Saito's left arm is cybernetic, allowing him to support and steady extremely large sniper weapons with superhuman skill. His left eye was replaced with the "Hawkeye", a prosthetic eye that interfaces with satellites to allow for shots of incredible accuracy. The Hawkeye, however, can be hacked, as it is in Episode 2 of the first season. It is impossible for Saito to escape hacking by going into autistic mode because he needs to maintain his Hawkeye's satellite uplink. Saito is also valued for his ability to think like enemy snipers; on two separate occasions his ability at determining sniping locations impacted Section 9's actions. He should have two specials called, "Snipers Knowledge", "Hawkeye System", Toughness and Range Combat Expert.
Snipers Knowledge: Saito ignore other characters Stealth.
Hawkeye System: Saito gains a +2 yo his attack value when making range combat attacks. If this ability is outwitted he suffers a -1 to his attack value.
He should have about six clicks of health and starting values of Movement 6, Attack 10, Defense 17, Damage 3 and Range 10 with one target. His TA should be the Section 9 one and his keywords should be Section 9 and Soldier.

Well the is it for now, until next time have fun.
