Happy New Year everybody. Welcome to the first post of 2012 and the first Cosmic Cosplay post. This post will cover anything CosmicBreak or Cosplay Deviants related from the week as well as a bit of DreamClix.

First off this week's sets from Cosplay Deviants. The set on Wednesday was a re-promotion of an old set called Kunoichi. In the set, Lady Akane cosplays as Mai Shiranui from King of Fighting and Fatal Fury. The photographer for the set was Kassandra. The set on Saturday was a new set from Caprica called Illumination. In it she cosplays as Ai from Princess Ai.

Next is week's news for CosmicBreak and related games. This week's update was a day early and at first glance was not much. A new weekly Garapon and some New Year's discs. But it was a set up for a New Year's Garapon that started on today, New Year's day. In the Garapon there are moe versions of the Guardians and more chibis in DX armour, that is if you class the moe version of Dracken as moe character.

Now for the DreamClix side to the post. I re-decided to only do two items instead of three I first planned. As Lady Akane had only done one and Caprice's new set is only her second set, there will not be any Cosplay Cards this week so I will be doing a dial idea for the original form of Lios from CosmicBreak and the dial design for Maka Akashiya.

The Guardian of Bladine. Quick to act (although sometimes without thinking), he values qualities like courage over simple physical power. Leads Bladine with his strong morals and sense of justice.. He should have two traits "LND" and "The Guardian of Balding", as well as Flurry, Blades, Indomitable, Toughness, Leadership, Perplex and a special called "C.S.-chan's Upgrade".
The Guardian of Balding: All friendly characters with the Unions keyword gain Willpower. 
C.S.-chan's Upgrade: Give Lios a free action if C.S. is adjacent to him and power action if she is not. Replace this version of Lios with another version of Lios on the same click. Existing actions tokens on this character are applied to the replacement, which can't be given an action this turn. If the replacement is KO'd, this character's point value is scored instead.
He should have about seven clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 8, Attack 12, Defense 18, Damage 3 and Range 6 with one target. He should have the Unions TA and the keywords Ruler, Warrior, Robot, Land and Unions.
