Neoscream's Life for the week of the 23rd to the 29th of January

Monkey D. Luffy after the
timeskip
Welcome to another week of my life. For those new to the blog, the "Neoscream's Life" posts are basically a weekly dairy of mine. The week before last another draw of my Chest of Draws (well one of the two in my room) broke and my dad could not fix it, but what did last week being.

On Monday morning Star Trek Online was still downloading so I had to leave the laptop on while I went to work to finish downloading it. I worked from 11:30AM to 2:30PM. Atif, Marisa and their son popped into work so that Atif can stay hi to every body. It was great to see him again after about two years. When I got back home after hanging with them for awhile after work, I found that Star Trek Online finally downloaded and all I had left to do was install it. As the game was now free the play, I decided to try, watch is the reason why I downloaded it. I played follow the main tutorial mission against the Borg. The game is based about 30 years afterthe events of Star Trek Nemesis. The Klingons are waging war again, the Borg are back after getting their butts kicked by the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager and the Dominon has re-organised them selves. In the tutorial, the Federation are defending one of there colonies that is under attack by a borg fleet (not just one cube). You are an Ensign on board one of the ship battling the Borg. You first get sent to another ship that needs help. As you are about to return to your ship, the commanding officer of the ship you just helped decides to give you one of the new offices fresh out of the Academy they just pick up before the attack. When you return to your ship, you find that the rest of the ships officers were killed in the battle and now you are the the acting ships captain. You go off help transport wounded, battle the Borg in your ship and battle the Borg in you ship and in a away team. When you return to Star Fleet Command, you are promoted to Lieutenant and given prominent command of the ship, while the new officer that was given to you becomes you first Bridge Officer. The game some far in interesting with its split of ship missions and Away Team missions. It's very customizable, you can alter the looks and names of your bride officers, but sadly not the race or gender. I went for a random alien Engineer who I called Hyniks, I called my ship U.S.S. Hunter (Shi'Kar class light cruiser) and I ended up getting the female Andorian Tactical Officer which I based her looks and name on Rei Ayanami from Evangelion. I also played some Minecraft and found a ton of Red Stone, so I made a compass so I can make a map when I get some sugar cane. Other than that I also listed the P's, Q's, R's and the first half S's of my HeroClix figures on to HCRealms.

Tuesday was a day off work. I posted last week's Neoscream's Life post and updated the DreamClix Dial Designs page on my blog. I played some more Star Trek Online where I got a second Bridge Officer, a female unjointed Trill Science Officer. I also played some Minecraft when I been building farms. I manage to list the second half S's of my HeroClix collection on HCRealms. Man there is too many super heroes and villains beginning with S. Plus S.H.I.E.L.D. generics do not help.

Listened: Episodes 23 and 24 of VG Pulse, episode 146 of Manga Pulse and episode 68 of the Unofficial One Piece Podcast.

On Wednesday I worked from 11:30AM to 4PM. I was too busy getting the HeroClix post ready to do much else. I was working on the HeroClix post as I knew (thought I was) going to be too busy to work on it tomorrow because of the New Chest of Draws.

Ensign (and First Officer) Rei Ayanami
Due to the Chest of Draws arriving, I got Thursday off work to build it and fill it up. Both my parents off too. As the Chest of Draws will be arriving until sometime between 12PM and 2PM, I quickly updated the DreamClix Dial Designs page before I tidy up the space were the new Chest of Draws go. I had already gotten the altered CosmicBreak dials for the update yesterday so all I had the do was replace the old image with the new ones. The new flat packed Chest of Draws arrived at 1:45PM when we were having lunch. My dad left for a meeting with his Area Manager at 2PM saying that he will not be long and to not put together the Chest of Draws, he will do it. I was not very happy about be told not to put it together when I took the day off work to do it. I decide to play some Star Trek Online for about an hour and a hour. In it I gained another Bridge Office, a female Bolian Engineering Officer. Hang on, all my Bridge Officer are females. OK, my character muat be a Pimp Captain. After all that time dad still had not turned up. I decided to change to Minecraft as I could easily come off it when my dad finally turns up. I play it for an hour and a half dad still had not turned up. He finally turned up about 5:45PM. Nearly four hours and I had to be at York House for HeroClix at 7PM so now I do not have the time to put away my stuff back into the Chest of Draw. However while my dad was building the draws, I received a text message from Darren S saying that he has to cancel the game this week. So I can now fill up the draws. The Chest of Draws was not as wide as I thought. When I measured the old one when I was ordering the new one my measures for the width was about 85cm, the new one was 75cm on the dot. A difference of about 10cm, so why is there a 20cm gap. I must of miss measured or converted from inches wrong. I originally measured it out in inches and the when I found that IKEA and Argos uses centimeters I used the tap measure to convent it. The shorter width did not worry me much as it was taller than the old one. Also I never check the depth of it ever, which was a stupid thing to do as it was not very deep. Major note to self when I replace the other one measure the 'f'ing depth. I just manage to fit about 80% of the stuff that was in the old one into the new one. Luckily I manage to find places else where for the other stuff. Blaire came online not long after I finish putting the stuff away.
Watched: Episodes 12 and 13 of Lets Play Minecraft Survival and last week’s episode of the Gadget Guys.
Listened: Episode 25 of VG Pulse, episodes 13 and 15 of Season 6 of theOtaku.com podcast (I am missing 14 for some reason) and episode 148 of Manga Pulse.

Persona 4
First thing on Friday morning I posted the DreamClix Special post. I was planning on watching Mobile Gundam AGE before going to work, but the video was taking forever the stream (about one minute of video in the space a fifteen minutes of waiting. I found out that it was the video that was having the problem streaming and not my slow internet. So I decided to play on Star Trek Online instead, but life throw a hard ball with a patch update. As the laptop was downloading both a video (well buffering) and an update patch for Star Trek Online, decided it was best not to push my internet with playing Minecraft or listing HeroClix figures. I worked from 12PM to 2:30PM. When I got home I played some more Star Trek Online and Minecraft. In Star Trek Online I got some Dilithium, so I decided to pick up an extra Bridge Officer. Keeping in the theme of the rest of my officers I went for another female officer. She was a Vulcan Tactical Office. With this decision, I will most likely go down the Escort class line of ships.
Watched: Episode 15 of Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, episode 1 of Persona 4 and episode 277 of the subtitled version of Bleach.

On Saturday this week there was no coffee due to Richard being away on a family wedding. This also means no role-play this week as well. I worked from 12PM to 5PM. I played a ton of Minecraft, building and gathering. Blaire came online in the evening.
