HeroClix MK, the 1st March, Want do you mean the Iron Man armour is not classed as a weapon

Welcome to another HeroClix MK. First off is the HeroClix news for the week. This week there were previews of Silver Surfer from the Marvel: Galactic Guardians main set; Gladiator from the Marvel: Galactic Guardians - Annihilators Fast Forces; and Fandral from the Marvel: Avengers Movies set. Also a poster for the next Marvel set was revived. The is called Chaos Wars and was organically being called Might Avengers. I differently going to get a brick of this set. Oh and the Unit section on HCRealms list the dials for Nick Fury, Black Widow and S.H.I.E.L.D. Enforcer from the Marvel: Avengers Movies set as well as the whole Marvel: Galactic Guardians - Gravity Feed set.

This week game was Tooled Up. 500 points, 3 actions, characters most have at least on hand held weapon (like any Punisher) or an object that can be used as a weapon (like Secret Invasion The Thing) . The team I went for I have dubbed Avenging Tony Stark Avengers. Why? It is a standard Avengers team minus Iron Man as he is not holding a weapon. The team was:

Thor (016 Hammer of Thor) 226
Steve Rogers (031 Captain America) 99
Black Widow (006 Captain America) 85
Hawkeye (012 Fantastic Forces) 84
=494 points and four re-rolls.

On the first round I was up against Adrian. He was using a S.H.I.E.L.D. themed team who were:
3x S.H.I.E.L.D. Specialist (004 Captain America) 37 x 3 = 111
4x S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent (006 Sinister) 29 x 4 = 116
3x S.H.I.Eu) 17
Maria Hall (018 Captain America) 72
Captain America (040 Hammer of Thor) 72
=499 points and four re-rolls.

This was a nightmare I could not hit Captain America at all during most of the game. Just before time was called I was turning the tide of the game, but it was to late. He killed 268 buts of my team while I killed about 233 points of his.I should have just based Captain America at the beginning. Oh and remembered that Thor can target two people. So I  lost this game. On the second round I was up against Michael. He was using a Hydra themed team who were:

5x Hydra Footsoldier (001 Sinister) 14 x 5 = 70
4x Hydra Agent (003 Captain America) 25 x 4 = 100
2x Hydra Officers (202 Captain America) 30 x 2 = 60
Richard Fish (017 Captain America) 62
Sin (209 Captain America) 80 372
Elektra (048 human Secret Invasion) 80
Crossbones (007 Avengers) 47
=499 points and four re-rolls.

This was a total white wash. the only damage I took was from Black Widow pushing to re-roll an attack from Crossbones. I easy won this one and had time to list Adrian's and most of Adrian's while wait for time to be called on Darren's and Adrian's game. On round third and final I was up against Darren. He was using a The Hand themed team who were:

Elektra (048 human Secret Invasion) 80
Black Tarantula (019 Incredible Hulk) 88
White Tiger (020 Incredible Hulk) 58
Daredevil (031 Incredible Hulk) 93
Gorgon (046 Captain America) 106
Psylocke (023 Giant Size X-Men) 74
=499 points and four re-rolls.

Thor manage to kill Daredevil with one blow, however the rest of his team ripped my team apart and like normal he won the game.

Next week should be 300 points, Modern Age figures only. You can bring any number of teams you like.

Now for this week's DreamClix section. This week, due to the fact that them were no real Dial Designs last week, this week and next week will be heavy on designs and lighter on ideas. Also this week marks the introduction of two new shows to DreamClix. The first is Battle Angel Alita. I was originally plan on doing Nintendo (Mario, Zelda, Pokémon), but after what I have seen of Battle Angel Alita I decided to go for it instead and do Nintendo the next time I add two more shows. The second show is Mobile Suit Gundam 00. As it will have the Infantry horde token there will be a little delay on any thing else for this show. This week I am doing ideas for Alita from Battle Angel Alita, a pilot card of Flit Asuno from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, the Earth Federation Forces TA, Gin from One Piece and the Krieg Pirates. But first I have six designs done in my Excel template I have been talking about in the Cosmic Cosplay and Neoscream's Life post. These are Julia Chang from Tekken, the Tekken team ability, Paper Bomb feat card from Naruto, Mackey Stingray from Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040, Kaya from One Piece, Gelus from Death Note and the Kami Powers team ability.

Before I move on to the ideas I would like to talk about a couple of thing about the above dial designs. First I drop Kaya's trait as the feat I did for One Piece covers it. Also you may have notice that her special is a very light gray. This was done to make specials more noticeable on the template as black powers tend to hide the think black lines. Next is the change to Gelus. This will effect the other two Shinigami and any other non Marvel characters with the Power Cosmic team ability. I am replacing the Powe Cosmic team ability with the Kami Power team ability. This does no effect game play that much as Kami Power team ability does the same thing as the Power Cosmic team ability. I did this as I was not happy with using a Marvel universe named ability for none Marvel stuff. I fine with both the Police and Mystics team ability names as they are used in both DC and Marvel, so they will not be changing.

Next is Alita from Battle Angel Alita. Her damaged head and torso were found by exiled Tipharean doctort Daisuke Ido while he searched the dump heap below Tiphares for parts to use in his cyborg repairs. Ido decided to fully rebuild her and named her after his recently deceased cat. When the reanimated Alita suspects Ido of murdering women to provide her body parts, her guilt causes her to track and confront Ido. She discovers that he is a hunter-warrior, and that he is seeking the true killer himself. Her fight to protect Ido causes an instinctive recollection of the lost Martian battle technique called Panzer Kunst or Cyborg Martial Arts, as she quickly applies a single killing blow to the murderer. She decides to become a hunter-warrior herself, in which job Alita occasionally displays a disturbing bloodlust and love of battle. Alita's first battle as a hunter-warrior is against a powerful, body-snatching and brain-eating cyborg named Makaku, who destroys the original body that Ido had made for her. Ido rescues her, almost dying in the process. Feeling he has no other choice, he reconnects her head to an ancient cyborg body called a Berserker Body, which had been especially made for war. Equipped with a new, stronger body, Alita is again challenged by Makaku, who has become obsessed with Alita and reequipped himself with a new Power Body. After a long fight in the sewers beneath the Scrapyard, Alita kills Makaku. This version of Alita will be her before she was given the Berserker body. She should have Stealth, Leap Climb and Combat Reflexes. She should have about four or five clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 8, Attack 8 that spikes to 10 on the second click, Defence 17, Damage 1 that spikes to 2 on the second click and Range 0. She should not have a team ability and her keywords should be Hunter-Warrior, Bounty Hunter, Martial Artist and Robot. The next Battle Angel Alita idea should be Daisuke Ido.

Next is a pilot card for Flit Asuno from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. Flit is the first generation protagonist of the show. He is both a young Mobile Suit Developer and pilot of the military organization Earth Federal Forces. He pilots the AGE-1 Gundam AGE-1 Normal and its variants. In many ways Flit's personality is a dichotomy. He is generally a very friendly person who is easy to get along with. He could also be considered hopeful from his constant belief that the Gundam will turn the tide of the war. When it comes to the Gundam, Flit takes everything very seriously, getting very angry with even friends if they mess with the mobile suit without his permission. Flit Asuno is a recognized genius and is the principal engineer behind the creation of the AGE-1 Gundam AGE-1 Normal. Though not a soldier his great intimacy and knowledge of the Gundam makes him the most qualified person to pilot it. He possesses early indications of X-Rounders abilities such as precognition and sensing others presence.
Requirements: Gundam keyword.
Keyword: X-Rounder.
Special Ability: This character can use Perplex.
Mecha Ability: AGE-1 Gundam AGE-1 Normal, AGE-1S Gundam AGE-1 Spallow, AGE-1T Gundam AGE-1 Titus. This character can use Perplex (on top of the special), but cannot use Preplex on a target more than once in a turn. If the click value of this character is 6 or higher, they can use Probability Control.
Team Ability: Earth Federation Forces.
You may have noticed I little difference to this pilot card idea, Keyword. This is a new thing I am adding that adds new keywords to the mecha the pilot is piloting. The next Mobile Suit Gundam AGE idea should be the Attack Jeep horde token.

Next is the Earth Federation Forces team ability: When a character with the Earth Federation Forces team ability attacks a character with two action tokens, modify this characters attack value by +1. Uncopyable.

Next is Gin from One Piece. Gin the "Man-Demon" is a member of the Krieg Pirates. Gin is fiercely loyal to Don Krieg, carrying out whatever orders he may be given from him no matter how inhumanly brutal or ruthless without protest or hesitation, thus earning himself the alias of "Gin the Demon Man". This is partly due to a great fear of Krieg, which is evidenced when he obeys his orders to throw away his gas mask and breathe the deadly MH5 poison gas because he fears Krieg's wrath for disobeying more than death itself. However, unlike Krieg, Gin has some sense of honour inside him, being unable to bring himself to kill Sanji, the very first person to ever show him kindness (by saving him from starvation). He should have Exploit Weakness, Close Combat Expert, Flurry, Toughness and Willpower. He should have about five or six clicks of health and mid combat values (not starting as his first click or two should be weak to show him at the when he first appeared) of Movement 7, Attack 10, Defence 17, Damage 3 and Range 6 with one target. His team ability should be the Krieg Pirates one and his keywords should be Krieg Pirates, Pirate and Warrior. The next One Piece idea should be Don Krieg.

Next is the the Krieg Pirates team ability: When a character with the Krieg Prites team ability is within 6 squares of a friendly character with the Krieg Pirates team ability and has line of sight to them, modify this character's defence value by +1 if not already modified by this ability. Also when a character with the Krieg Prites team ability is within 6 squares of an opposing character with the Krieg Pirates team ability and has line of sight to them, modify this character's attack value by -1 if not already modified by this ability.

Lastly is the DreamClix Dial Designs page update news. Ok first off there was an update on Sunday due to both a change of plan on have to do them and a lack of time due to building the template in Excel to replace the dial generator HCRealms had. Due to a major difference in look I am redoing up the old dials in the template. Doing it in the way I am, if I ever need to change something due to an error or changes to the rules, all I need to do is just edit it on Excel and reprint screen and crop it, instead of editing the picture and losing picture quality each time I save or remake the dial again. From now on ever day off will had a ten design update and team ability designs with be apart of the standard DreamClix section as seen in today dial designs. However this coming Sunday will be a double update to cover the lack of an update last week. As I was writing this HCRealms has posted a new dial generator. It is a massive improvement to the old one and is not a third person thing so it should be updated as things change. The only thing I do not like is that the team abilities are fixed to real game ones. I am keeping to my template as I would have a copy of the design that can easily be altered than just an image that degrades each time I do changes to it. (Sorry for repeating that.) Before I end this post here is another new look Bleach dial design preview. As you may have noted I never went for a Hollow team ability. I was talking about doing one in the Neoscream's Life post. I have decided against it, however there will be an Arrancar team ability in the future.

Well that is it for this week. Until next time, Mecha Up.
