Welcome to “Gaming News from Neoscream”. This is my
weekly gaming news post for miniature games, RPGs, some card games and computer
games. Sadly it was a sloe news week. Everybody is getting back from the holidays.
“Gaming News”
First off is
the HeroClix news. This week we get previews of Hawkman, Vandal Savage, two
versions of Doctor Light, I Vampire, Tim Hunter, Firestorm and Deathstorm from DC Justice League
Trinity War.
Next is the Cool Mini or Not news. Everything apart
from the US wave two and three of the War Paint sets from the Arcadia Quest
KickStarter have shipped. The remainder is being delayed due to postal strikes
in the USA.
Now for the Guild Ball news. Stewart Griffin, the man
responsible for mould making and metal casting process has sadly passed away
due to a heart attack just before Christmas. This may course delays as only
five out of the eight teams have moulds for metals so far.
Lastly is the Privateer Press news. It was relieved the
all the January releases are coming out on the 14th (this coming
Wednesday). For a re-cap here is the list of release for January: the Trollblood
Trollkin Unit Kriel Warriors with three Weapon Attachments, the Legion Warbeast
Pack Blight Wasps, the Legion Character Nephilim Heavy Warbeast Zuriel, Minion
Farrow Unit Farrow Bone Grinders, Official Area of Effect Ring Markers for both
Warmachine and Hordes and issue 58 of their No Quarter magazine.
Thanks to Beasts of War and not the Privateer Press
website (not saying that Privateer Press did not post them on their Facebook page or on
Tweeter), there are preview images to the boxes for next month’s All-In One
army deals (and you have them here too). Also after checking an on-line store the deals are listed as round
£88 and are 35-point legal forces. To my mind this is a GOOD deal and a great
place for players to start as it is a full usable force for Tournament play
that is under £100. Here is a break down of the Khador 35-point army: Forward Kommander Sorscha Kratikoff;
Spriggan; Demolisher; War Dog; Widowmakers; Winter Guard Infantry and
Rocketeers; Winter Guard Officer and Standard; Kovnik Jozef Grigorovich; and
Lady Aiyana and Master Holt.

“Painting and Converting”
As there was no AJ Lee news this week, this section is being moved to the "Neoscreams's Life" post until she makes her great return. However I have finished off five Arcadia Quest heroes, seven
Zombies and the base for my first Wet Nurse. I also under coated several Season
Three DreadBall figures too. I also pick up some new paints today.
Until next time, hope for a better tomorrow.
