Gaming News from Neoscream: 4th September 2015

Enforcer Interceptor
Welcome to the “Gaming News from Neoscream”. This is my weekly gaming news post for miniature games, RPGs, some card games, my painting and upcoming local events.

“Gaming News”

First off we have the HeroClix news. We got previews of: Nick Fury (originally version), Clay Quartermain, Eric Koenig, Dum Dum Dugan and Steve Rogers from Marvel Nick Fury Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D..

Now for the Mantic news. Mantic have be showing off the work that is going into their Enforcer Interceptor for Warpath. It look get and a lot like the Skyranger from XCOM. I Might have to pick one up to go with my XCOM board game.
With DeadZone this week we got CAD images of the Kalyshi.
With Kings of War this week the Kickstarter is over halfway through shipping wave one to backers.

Next is the Wyrd Games news. This Monday we got a preview of the Ghoul Pursuit from the upcoming Through the Breach expansion book Under Quarantine.

Now for the Bushiroad news (now including Weiß Schwar). For Cardfight this month will see the release of G Comic Booster One “Vanguard and Deletor” in Japan on the 26th. Sadly there are no English releases this month.
With Weiß Schwarnth this month will see the release of the Booster Pack “Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie -Rebellion-” in English, in fact it is out today.

Next is the Crooked Dice Games news. They have added a PDF copy Paranormal Exterminator Programme Guide for 7TV to their web store. It costs £4.

Now for the Cool Mini or Not news. With Blood Rage most of the products are on ships heading to the warehouses. Please note that the rough dates I am about to say are the ships docking and not arriving at the warehouses. The USA and the rest of the world stuff should arrive early to mid October, the Canada stuff should arrive end of September, the EU stuff should be mid September, the boat(s) with the Australia and New Zealand stuff have not left China yet and with Asia the stuff should be shipping to backers this month.

Next is the Guild Ball news. A couple of pre-orders for Season Two will be starting soon (today). The Season Two releases will be split up throughout the rest of this year and the whole of next year. There will be forty new models which I will go into more detail in a moment, Season 2 Token Sets, a Campaign Packs and Season 2 Rulebook. The forty new models for Season Two will be: Eight new Captains, eight new Mascots, nine new Additional Players, seven Veteran Players and the Hunters Guild which has eight Players. With the Season Two models they plan on releasing one every two weeks. The first will be Sakana, a Fisherman's Guild player who is out on the 25th of September and the second being Tenderiser, a Butcher's Guild player who is out on the 9th of October.

Now for the Megacon Games news. Due to the Pledge Manager they have added ten Infected models to both Hero and Minion pledge levels.

Next is the Kingdom Death news. After two months of waiting we finally got a full update on the KickStarter page. Wave one shipmen is worldwide, however it is being sent from their studio in the USA than the warehouse. So there might be changes. Because of this every reward box has a gift of the White Speaker in it and if you are not getting survivor level rewards, then your gift will be included the Twilight Knight too. Survivor level backers will get the gift Twilight Knight in their survivor reward box.  Oh, to make things clearer wave one is the pinups, promos, dice, extra heads, resins, t-shirts and armour kits. It does not include the core game, survivor level rewards or expansions.
The Challenge Scenarios and promo rules have not been sent it wave one, but will be sent to Resin Beta Backers this month to do some final tests. They should be sent to backer as a PDF in November 2015.
For wave two (and hopefully ware three) there are four global warehouses which are located in Canada, Australia, EU and the USA. The EU warehouse will be handling rest of world, with the following exceptions: Asia Rewards are being shipped directly from Hong Kong, New Zealand rewards are being shipped from Australia and they are personally handling South America. We got rough dates of when wave two and Resin Beta Backers stuff will ship to backers (please note customs might make this longer). Resin Beta Backers rewards will shipped speed directly from their USA base in New York sometime between the mid to late this month. The USA Backer stuff should start shipping via USA warehouse sometime between the start to mid October. International Backers stuff should start shipped via EU, CAN and AU Warehouses sometime between mid October to the start of November.
There is not set date for wave three yet.
They have also shown off images of the expansion stuff especially the Gorm one, images and videos for Gencon 2015 and work on the Nightmare Ram expansion which is not a KickStarter expansion for the game.

Now for the Wild West Exodus news. They have made a PDF version of the rulebook available for download.

Lastly there is the Modiphius news. With the Thunderbirds board game, it is on the ships to the warehouses. No real dates yet.

“Painting and Converting”

For this post I have for you all a Battle Zone terrain sprue and the Troll from Arcadia Quest.
