News”
First
off we have the HeroClix news. We got previews of: S.H.I.E.L.D.
Elite Agent, S.H.I.E.L.D. Bodyguard, S.H.I.E.L.D. Paranormal Investigator,
S.H.I.E.L.D. Cyborg and S.H.I.E.L.D. Infiltrator from Marvel Nick Fury Agent of
S.H.I.E.L.D..
Now for the Mantic news. Mantic have
be showing off a painted Enforcer Jetbike for Deadzone.
Wave one of King of War has just
finish shipping. Dungeon Saga should now start shipping mid-October.
Next
is the Bushiroad news. With Cardfight this week, they have revealed that on
November the 13th they will be releasing two new G Trial Decks and a
new G Booster set. The Trial Decks are “Howling Path of the Time-Illusion”
(Gear Chronicle) and “Magician of the Crescent Moon” (Pale Moon). The new
booster set will be called “The Dragon Fang that Glitters in the Moonlight” and
it will cover Gear Chronicle, Pale Moon, Oracle Think Tank, Narukami, Link
Joker and Clay Elemental.
Now
for the Crooked Dice Games news. They have updated the beta rules for the
second edition of 7TV.
Next
is the Ninja Division news. With Robotech RPG Tactics there has been a major
rules change. The Long Range Missile of the Standard Valkyries are being drops
from Ammo 8 to Ammo 6 and the points cost for the upgrade has been reduced to reflect
it.
Now
for the Battle System news. The Post Apocalypse Terrain KickStarter Will be
starting on the 18th of this month.
Next
is the Stonehaven Miniatures news. They have started sculpting the Halfling Adventurers
Miniatures now.
Now
for the Cool Mini or Not news. This week they started a new KickStarter for a
new board game called “The Others: 7 Sins”. It is a horror board game for two
to five players. One player controls one of the 7 Deadly Sins, employing
monstrous incarnations of these corruptive forces in an attempt to consume the
world and bring about the apocalypse. The rest of the players cooperate as
heroes of the F.A.I.T.H. organization who will attempt to fight back the
invasion! There is just one Pledge Level at the moment (not including the early
bird version) which is FAITH. This level will get you the The Others: 7 Sins
core box, the Kickstarter Exclusive Leader Hero Calavera and all Stretch Goals that
are not noted otherwise.
So
far they have managed to unlocked: The
game is funded; a KickStarter Exclusive Faith Dice Bag; new sculpts for Sloth
and Pride Abominations which will replace two figures of each in all core box
games; the KickStarter Exclusive Fixer Hero Adrian; new sculpts for Nun, Doctor
and Hobo Acolytes which will replace two figures of each in all core box games;
two new KickStarter Exclusive City Tiles which are the Bank and the Casino; a
Soundtrack for Download; and the Fixer Hero Will.
As
I post this the stretch goal that are still going are: The Greed Avatar, twelve Greed Cards and a Greed Board at $275k; six
Greed Abominations (two sculpts first) and a Greed Controller at $300k; and a
third sculpt for the Greed Abominations at $310k.
A
part from the $1 to follow it I am not backing this KickStarter. I am not
saying it is bad, just that is does not interest me and I have enough board
games already.
Lastly
there is the Modiphius news. There have meant to of started the Kickstarter for
the Infinity RPG earlier this week, however they have not for some unknown
reason.

and coming Events"
These
are local gaming events in Milton Keynes I know of, Guardians of Tyr events at
Wargames Workshop Northampton and other events I plan on going to or want to
advertise.

On Mondays (not including Bank Holidays)
at Wargames Workshop MK is Wargaming night.
·
On Tuesdays at Wargames Workshop MK it is
Card games night (or is it just Magic the Gathering).
·
On Thursdays York House Youth Centre in
Stony Stratford is open from Wargamers and Boardgamers.
·
On Fridays at Wargames Workshop MK it is
Friday Night Magic.
·
On Sundays, Wargames Workshop MK is now
open. It will be for role-play and board games day on every Sunday apart from
the last Sunday of the month which will be a card games day (Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic
and Cardfight Vanguard).

On Saturday the 12th of
September 2015, there will be a Cardfight Vanguard Tournament at Wargames Workshop
MK. Rules of the event will be on the “CFVanguard and Weiß Schwarz M.K.”

On Sunday the 19th of September
2015, Guardians of Tyr will be running a Warhammer 40,000 Conquest tournament
at Wargames Workshop MK.

On Saturday the 20th of
September 2015, there will be a Weiß Schwarz Tournament at Wargames Workshop
MK. Rules of the event will be on the “CFVanguard and WeißSchwarz M.K.”

On Saturday the 3rd of October
2015, Guardians of Tyr will be running a Steam Roller Warmachine/Hordes
tournament at Wargames Workshop MK.

On Sunday the 11th of October
2015, Guardians of Tyr will be running a Star Wars X-Wing UK Team Championship
at Jurys Inn MK. Sadly this has already sold out.

On Saturday the 17th of October
2015, Guardians of Tyr will be running a Warhammer 40,000 tournament at
Wargames Workshop MK.
·
On Saturday the 7th of November
2015, Guardians of Tyr will be running a Star Wars X-Wing tournament at
Wargames Workshop MK.
·
On Sunday the 8th of November
2015, Guardians of Tyr will be running a Steam Roller Warmachine/Hordes
tournament at Wargames Workshop Northampton.

On Saturday the 21st of
November 2015 will be a Mantic Open Day.
·
On Saturday the 28th of
November 2015, Guardians of Tyr will be running Android Netrunner UK Team
Championship 2015 at Wargames Workshop Northampton.
Wargames
Workshop MK has a £2 gaming fee or £4 with a booster pack
(Magic/Yu-Gi-Oh/Vanguard) unless it is a paid tournament run by Guardians of
Tyr. Weekday events normally start at 6/7PM.
For
rules for Guardians of Tyr tournaments and leagues as well as information on
pre booking your place in tournament. Pre booking is highly recommended so they
know how many people are coming. So please go to their website which there is a
link to it under my links section which are located on the right hand side of
this blog.
York
House has a £3 on the day gaming fee (unless you are a child or unemployed
where it is £1) and a £5 fee for a year’s membership. However the first day is
free and they only take yearly membership fee at the start of the year. The
hall officially opens at 7PM, but normally people start arrived 15 to 20
minutes early.
“Painting
and Converting”
For
this post I have for you all The Heartless and
all four of The Faceless from Arcadia Quest plus two Toxic Zombie Runner from
Zombicide.

With
the next post there should be three more Toxic Zombie Runners, a Toxic Zombie
