Now for the HeroClix news for the week. This week there were previews of Victoria Hand and Morgan Le Fay from Marvel Chaos Wars; and Madame Xanadu from DC Justice League 52. The full set of Marvel Chaos Wars is up on the unit section on HCRealms.
Now for this week's DreamClix section. This week I am doing ideas for a Support card for the Kyõto House from Code Geass; the Motoslave from Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040; Izuchi from Battle Angel Alita; Mello from Death Note; and King Claudus from Thundercats. But first I have designs of both the Thompson Sisters from Soul Eater; Starscream from Transformers G1; the Support Clovis la Britannia from Code Geass; and Gin Ichimaru from Bleach.
Next is Support card for the Kyõto House from Code Geass. The Kyōto House, officially the "Six Houses of Kyōto" is an organization of elite Japanese industrialists and plutocrats, who the Britannian Empire left in charge of running Japan's major industries, particularly its Sakuradite mining operations. They ultimately answer to Britannia's occupation authorities, based on the principle that the economy would run more effectively if managed by collaborationist local industralists rather than by Britannia directly. However, while many Japanese despise the Kyōto House as collaborators, they are only maintaining the public facade of co-operating with Britannia. In reality, the six wealthy industrialist families of Kyōto House are using their position to secretly obtain funding for anti-Britannian insurgency groups throughout Area 11, particularly the Japan Liberation Front formed of the remnants of the old Japanese military, but during the course of the series as the JLF is destroyed and the Black Knights rise to prominence, the Kyōto House shifts to funding them as well. There are most noted as a producer of Knightmare Frames. They have funded and armed the Black Knights by providing them with the Guren along with providing both the Japanese Liberation Front with the Type-3F Gekka and Type-10R Burai Plus the Type-1R Burai Kai used by the Four Holy Swords. The Sumeragi House leads the organization. As per the organization's official title, six families hold seats in the administrative council. Following the fall of the Black Rebellion, all but Kaguya are arrested and executed. The theme teams they should work on should be Japan and Black Knights. They should not have a special, but they should give two extra Theme Team re-rolls. The next Code Geass idea should be the Knightmare Frame Burai.
Next is the Motoslave from Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040. The Motoslave is a motorcycle, designed to help the Knight Sabers to combat Boomers. It is able to transform into a suit of armour to go round the Knight Sabers Armour for added protection and weaponry. In the original series there was more then one Motoslave and all the Knight Sabers could use them. However in Tokyo 2040 there is only on and Priss is the only one to use it. It should have the Foot Transporter symbol, Energy Explosion, Invulnerability, Toughness, Indomitable and a trait called "Motorcycle".
Motorcycle: If Motoslave uses the Move and Attack ability and is carrying a character with the Knight Sabers team ability, it may use the attack value of the carried character instead of its own. If the character it is carrying is called Priss, it does not suffer a -2 to the Attack value.
With the whole transforming into armor stuff, I will be doing a merged version at a later date. It should have about five clicks of health and starting combat values of Speed 15, Attack 9, Defence 19, Damage 2 and Range 8 with two targets. Its team ability should be the Knight Sabers one and its keywords should be Knight Sabers, Robot and Vehicle. The next Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 idea should be Priss in Motoslave armour.
Next is Izuchi from Battle Angel Alita. Izuchi was a Factory bounty and Makaku's cyborg henchman who assisted him by procuring dog brains to maintain his endorphin addiction, either by purchasing the animals live or by hunting them. It is implied that Izuchi became a bounty and took to working for Makaku to survive. This gave him a degree of protection because Makaku was such a feared bounty that hunter-warriors were reluctant to go after him, although he had been on the bounty list for years. Despite his reduced circumstances and the stress that having to worry about keeping Makaku satisfied entailed, Izuchi continued to stick with his job. He should have a special called "Makaku's Lackey", Stealth, Blades and Perplex.
Makaku's Lackey: If Izuchi is adjacent to a character called Makaku, he gains a +2 to his Defence value and Toughness.
He should have four clicks of life and starting Combat values of Speed 9, Attack 9, Defence 15, Damage 2 and Range 4 with two targets. He should have the Underworld team ability and the keyword Robot. The next Battle Angel Alita idea should be Makaku in his first body.
Next is Mello from Death Note. Mello is the oldest of L's two successors, raised at Wammy's House. Watari's orphanage for gifted children in Winchester, England. When Roger decides that Mello should work with Near to capture Kira, he refuses, citing an inability to work with somebody he is considered "second" to. He leaves the orphanage soon after, stating "I'll find my own way," and eventually seeks help from the Mafia. He should have a trait called "Two Minds Are Greater Than One", Stealth, Mastermind, Perplex and Probability Control.
Two Minds Are Greater Than One: When Mello is KO'd select a power or ability an opposing character on the field has. That power or ability is countered for the rest of the game.
He should have about five clicks of health and starting Combat values of Speed 7, Attack 9, Defence 17, Damage 1 and Range 4 with one target. His team ability should be the Underworld one and his keywords should be Detective and Underworld. The next Death Note idea should be Near.
Next is King Claudus from Thundercats. The previous Lord of the ThunderCats, Claudus ruled Thundera with a fierce heart and razor claw. During the siege of his capital city he is forced to make the choice of giving up the Sword of Omens in exchange for his friend Panthro. He and Tygra are later rescued from having to make that choice by the timely arrival of Lion-O. But Panthro stabs King Claudus in the back, then revealing himself to be Mumm-Ra, an ancient nemesis of the Thundercats, in disguise. As he dies, the last thing Claudus says to Lion-O and Tygra is, "No matter what happens, you made me proud today". Lion-O and Tygra are then captured along with Jaga and Cheetara. In Episode 3, it is shown that the trio is holding a funeral for Claudus and Lion-O etching the Thundercats symbol on the broken statue of his father. In "Old Friends," a flashback revealed that both Panthro and Grune fought alongside Claudus in a war. During a training in front of Lion-O and Tygra, Panthro and Grune trained hard to see which of them will be promoted to head general. After the training, they learn from Claudus that Lynx-O was promoted to head general. Then Claudus sent Panthro and Grune to look for the Book of Omens. He should have Charge, Blades, Flurry, Invulnerability, Toughness, Indomitable, Leadership and Perplex. He should have about seven clicks of health and starting Combat values of Speed 10, Attack 12, Defence 17, Damage 2 and Range 0. His team ability should be the Thundercats one and his keywords should be Ruler, Thunderians, Thundercats and Animal. The next Thundercats idea should be Japa.
Lastly is the DreamClix Dial Designs page update news. On Sunday I added Mobile Suit Gundam AGE to the DreamClix Dial Designs page. There should be at least an update to the page on Sunday. In this update will be the second update to Mobile Suit Gundam AGE and adding the Split/Merge lists to the Marvel Anime characters.
Well that is it for this week. Until next time, Mecha Up.
