Welcome to the MK HeroClix post. This is a weekly post with HeroClix news and results of Thursday's HeroClix game at MK Wargames Society at York House. This week there were previews of Deathlok and Spiral from Marvel Wolverine and the X-Men; Egghead from DC Batman Classic TV; Shuttlecraft Einstein and Shuttlecraft Sakharov from Star Trek Tactics III; and Superman and Lex Luthor from DC Superman Quick Start kit.

This week was the fifth week of the special tournament that Darren is running. He will bring four 600 point teams each week for eight weeks (round one). One DC heroes, one DC villains, one Marvel heroes and one Marvel villains. All teams are classed as Named themed even if it is not. We will each take it in turns using the team. The top two teams of each week will move on to the next round. This week’s teams were:

On the first round I was up against Adrian. I was using the “Outsiders” team while Adrian was using the “Sinister Syndicate”. No one was KOed by the end of time, so it ended on a roll off as there can be no draws and Adrain won. Also the “The Society” beat the “Midnight Sons”. On the second round I was up against Darren. I was using the “Sinister Syndicate” team while Darren was using the “Midnight Sons”. Like normal Darren kicked my butt. Also the “Outsiders” beat “The Society”. On the third and final round I was up against Michael.  I was using the “Midnight Sons” team while Michael was using the “Outsiders” team. This time my team wiped out Michael’s without losing a figure. If I remember right, I did not evr take damage. Also the “Sinister Syndicate” beat “The Society”. The two teams that are joining “Legion of Superheroes”, “Crime Syndicate”, “X-Men”, “M.O.D.O.K.'s 11”, “Sinestro Corps”, “Justice Society”, "Frightful Four" and "Bat Family" into the next round are the “Sinister Syndicate” and the “Midnight Sons”.

Next week should be the sixth week of round one of the tournament, next week’s teams will be “Infinity Watch”, “Arkham Asylum”, “Brotherhood of Mutants” and “Young Justice”.
