Welcome to
the MK HeroClix post. This is a weekly post with HeroClix news and results of
Thursday's HeroClix game at MK Wargames Society at York House. This week there
were previews Excalibur Team Dial, Shadowcat, Phoenix (Rachel), Captain
Britain, Meggan and Nightcrawler from Marvel Wolverine and the X-Men;
and Catwoman from DC Batman Classic TV. At long last, a new Captain Britain, oh and it is good to have another Shadowcat.
Anyway several images of figures from the Marvel The Invincible Iron Man set
were revealed and the Iron Man 3 TapApps Elite figures are now out.

On the first
round I was up against Michael. I was using the “Frightful Four” team while
Michael was using the “Bat Family”. Batman with his Utility Belt was shockingly
the first to fall. I barely won the game against what was thought as the most powerful team this week. The Nightwing and Batgirl duo figure was a major pain in the
neck. Also the “Avengers” beat the “Injustice Gang”. On the second round I was
up against Darren. I was using the “Avengers” team while Darren was using the “Frightful
Four”. Like normal Darren kicked my butt. Also the “Bat Family” beat “Injustice
Gang”. On the third and final round I was up against Adrian. I was using the “Injustice Gang” team while
Adrian was using the “Frightful Four” team. I was in the lead for most of the
game. I had taken out the charger Lyra and the tie up Klaw and could now turn my
attention to Taskmaster as Deadpool’s trait was too much a pain to get rid of
him quickly. I charge him with Parasite as he was hiding with stealth and I
know he would loss it on the next click. He needed sevens to hit and missed.
Chronos probed it but I missed again. Major Disaster probed (or it might have
been themed if I loosed it) it but I missed again. So Amaxo had to Hypersonic
it in and punch Taskmaster instead of Psychic Blasting. He needed sevens again
and I missed AGAIN. I thing all (if not missed) of the rolls were beeping sixs.
I ended up losing the game as even before and afterward I could not hit beeping
Taskmaster. Also the “Bat Family” beat “Avengers”. The two teams that are
joining “Legion of Superheroes”, “Crime Syndicate”, “X-Men”, “M.O.D.O.K.'s 11”,
“Sinestro Corps” and “Justice Society” into the next round are the “Frightful
Four” and the “Bat Family”.
Next week
should be the fifth week of round one of the tournament, next week’s teams will
be “Midnight Sons”, “Outsiders”, “The Society” and “Sinister Syndicate”.
Until next
time, Armour Up.
