Welcome
to the Neoscream's Life post. This is a weekly post of some of the things I
have done last week and news on stuff from Crooked Dice Games, Mantic Games,
Robotech RPG Tactics, Warmachine and the Geek Goddess AJ Lee.
First
off for those who are wondering where was Monday's Model Painting post, it will
be happening on Wednesday. I had been
forgetting to say it would be on Wednesday this week due to the
Warmachine/Hordes Journeyman League that happened this Morning. Expect a write
up on that next week. This will also mean that the re listing of the 7TV
G.O.D.S. team will be delayed. Most likely it will happen on Saturday.
On
Wednesday last week, before I went to work, me and my mum went to the City
Centre for haircuts before I went to work. We also had breakfast at a new
restaurant called Ed's. It was not that good as the bun was very burnt and with
the cost of the food I will not be trying it again. I am shocked people always
complain about Burger King prices on when you can get a meal from Burger King
for less than a burger from Ed's and it would be much quicker. It took about
fifteen minutes and it was not busy.
On
Saturday evening last week I managed to go to the cinema. I watched Pacific
Rim. Yes giant killer robot won over Wolverine, which is a rare thing in
comics. It was a great film. Did not disappoint one bit, and there might be a
sequel too. Highly recommend. Watching it shows that an Evangelion live action
film could be done, but I bet if it was done people who have never seen or
heard of Evangelion might think it is just a rip off of Pacific Rim. I will
most likely try to get the Jaegers for HeroClix, just so they can own Wolverine
on a HeroClix map.
Next
is the Mantic news. The new Goblin and Ogre stuff I now out for Kings of War. A
more detailed image of the Goblin Stuntbot for Deadzone has been revealed. Oh
and Mantic is gearing up for another KickStarter, this time for their new game
out next year, Mars Attacks. Sadly we have to wait longer for a Warpath one. I
will most likely will not backing it as I do not have much interest in Mar
Attacks, but I will post about it like the KickStarters I have back to support
Mantic. But now for the DreadBall goodness. The Season Three rule book is
almost finished being laid out and we are just weeks away from receiving the
third and final survey. Also the image of the Ultimate DreadBall patch was
revealed. People who have ordered it will receive it as a rubber mat (mouse mat
style) as well as a deck of Ultimate DreadBall cards. This is the first I have
heard about cards for the first time.
Now
for the Warmachine and Hordes news. The updates and stuff unlocked on the
Warmachine: Tactics KickStarter before I went to bed on Sunday were: Canadian
shipping was reduced, two new canvases called “White Knight” and “Seeing Red”
were added as add ons for $350 each, CGI image of the Cryxian Journeyman
Warcaster Aiakos the Scourge of Meredius was reviled, a physical metal figure
image of the Khador Journeyman Warcaster Andrei Malakov was reviled too, the
four Warcasters of Apotheosis were unlocked and Cinematic Cut Scenes for the
original campaign “No Man’s Land”. Known stretch goal still to go are: single
player Onslaught mode, co-op player and single player mission pack called “Dark
Seduction” at $1,299,000; Magnus the Traitor’s Battlegroup and Mercenaries as a
playable faction at $1,354,000; Retribution of Scyrah as a playable faction at
$1,509,000; and the Mercenary Warcaster Ashlyn D’Elyse and her battlegroup at
$1,769,000. The KickStarter will be ending early Saturday, so be quick if you
want to get in.
Next
is the Crooked Dice Games news. Colour images of Tweedy 2, Belle and Ms Temple
(Matt Smith’s the Doctor, Clara Oswald and Donna Noble) were posted on Monday.
They were released on Wednesday. They are £4 each or £7.50 for Tweedy 2 and
Belle together. I plan on ordering them in the future, but I might wait awhile
due to the Journeyman League and KickStarter. Also this month's Deal
of the Month is ARC Explorers. In it you get ARC Melody Lake (River Song in a
astronaut suit), an advancing unarmed astronaut, two Astronauts with Datapads,
an ARC Astronaut with Pistol, an ARC Astronaut with Rifle, an ARC Astronaut
with Missile Launcher and an ARC Astronaut in resin Moon Buggy all for £16.
That is £9 cheaper than the normal booster deals. These were released a day earlier that
planned as Graeme is away again from Saturday just been until Friday this week.
This will delay orders as Graeme is in charge of sorting and shipping orders. Oh
and in this month’s news letter in was relieved that there will be a Fantasy
skirmish using the Crooked Dice Game’s Action system, which is the system that
all their games run on. The game is called Otherworld Fantasy Skirmish and it
is being made by Otherworld Miniatures with help from the Crooked Dice Games
crew. By the sound of things Crooked Dice Games will be supplying the rules and
miniatures made by Otherworld Miniatures when the game comes out and it might
also have a crowd-funding campaign (KickStarter or Indiegogo).
There
was no Robotech RPG Tactics news this week.
Now
for what AJ Lee has been up to this past week. AJ was on Raw this week with a
match, but before the match backstage AJ was telling Big E Langston off for
never stopped Kaitlyn from spearing her. She was joking, just pulling his leg.
However both Michael Cole and Jerry "the King" Lawler called her
crazy for having a joke. AJ was in a non title match against “HULK SMASH”
Kaitlyn. AJ had Big E at her side at ringside while Kaitlyn had no one.
Whenever AJ was clobbering Kaitlyn big time the fans were cheering for AJ, but
when AJ goes for the pin the fans start to boo her. And people say AJ is crazy,
they should check out the fans first. AJ was kicking Kaitlyn’s ass for most of
the match, but Kaitlyn managed to spear AJ from out of nowhere and then scored
the pin. AJ throws a tantrum in the ring and Big E went to check on AJ, but the
rat Dolph Ziggers’s music begin playing and Dolph makes his way to the stage.
Dolph congratulates AJ on her loss and then he wanted a match against Big E.
The next match ended up being Dolph verses Big E Big E dominated most of the
match (but not as much a AJ was dominated Kaitlyn in their match). Dolph manage
to dodge a charge from Big E that coursed Big E to fall out of the ring. AJ
could not hold herself back any longer and she went into the ring to big the
crap out of the guy that broke her heart big time, Dolph. So Dolph won by
disqualification. He ran out of the ring like the rat he is. Big E got into the
ring as he wants to know what AJ was thinking. That was damn obvious, to beat
the crap out of the guy who broke her heart. Dolph then returns to the ring and
he gives Big E a Zig Zag.
On
Smackdown bloody “HULK SMASH” Kaitlyn got yet another rematch for AJ’s Divas
Championship. Big E was now banned from ring side for AJ permity on both Raw
and Smackdown . This decision must have been done just before AJ’s match with
Kaitlyn as earlier Big E had a match against Sin Cara and Michael Cole and Alex
Riley (who was filling in for JBL) said that he would be at AJ’s side. Oh, Big
E won his match. Kaitlyn had Layla El at her side. Kaitlyn was dominating this
time. The match spilled out of the ring. Kaitlyn was about to spear AJ were
Layle stopped her. Kaitlyn was in shock and then AJ used this to get the upper
hand on Kaitlyn. AJ got Kaitlyn back into the match and slapped on the Black
Widow on Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn tapped out and AJ won. After the match Layla and AJ
skipped off together. Kaitlyn’s only friend left had betrayed her. Serves her
right for the way she treated AJ. Now Kaityn go to the back of the queue and
now your place.
