RX-178+FXA-05D Super Gundam |
Welcome to
the Neoscream's Life post. This is a weekly post of some of the things I did
last week, news on stuff like Crooked Dice Games, DreadBall and AJ Lee,
previews of last week's new Cosplay Deviants sets and my weekly miniatures
painting section.
On Monday
last week I went to Wargames Workshop after work for the start of their
DreadBall League. On the first game I was up against Gavin. He was using a
Corporation team. It was a tight game and I won by one point. My number seven player called Sentinel (after Sentinel Prime) up a level. He was a Striker
and he gained the A Safe Pair of Hands skill. I also earned seven credits which I
spent six of on a second coaching dice. On the second game I was up against the
store owner Carl. He was using a Marauder team. Again it was a tight game but I
managed to won again by one point. I am currently in first place in my group.
Sweet. Go Cyber-Tech Primers. Can I keep it up.
The next two League games will be on the 8th of April.
On Saturday
I went to Colette's Easter party. It was a good night and it was great seeing
people I have not seen in a while. I was sadly the first to go due to transport
as my last bus home was about 10:30PM on a Saturday. But by the sound of
things, Darren and Lisa were planning on going soon after for their last train
home. There was about thirteen of us
there before I left with more coming later.
The starting eight Judwan players |
Now for this
week's DreadBall news. On Monday, Thursday and last week Jake Thornton talked
about the other three teams on his blog. You can find the article on his blog
Quirkworthy. There is a link to it on the right hand side of this blog. There
are three major notes for the Female
Second Corporation team. First they do not need to be all females, it is just a
different style of Corporation team. The second is that they have four Jacks
and one Guard compared to the Season One Corporation team. Lastly their were
originally rumoured to have the "A Safe Pair of Hands" skill, but
they do not. Instead their Jacks have "Running Interference". The
Judwan seems very interesting. Jake also stated that he will be taking about
the Coach and Cheerleaders this week. On Wednesday Mantic has posted a preview
page for the MVP Mee'Kel Judwan. Sadly he is not really playable the moment as
four of the five skills he has are new ones from Season Two. A safe bet can be
made on one of them, 360 Vision. He has a 360° front arch and no rear arch,
just like the ref bot. Then on Friday Mantic reviled the sculpts of the Judwan
team. They look more like Grays than Tau. I am not a fan of the look, but I do
not hate them. Sadly still no pictures of the Z’zor figures.
Next Next is
Crooked Dice Games news. Yes I use to say 7TV news but as I am talking about
7th Voyage now as well I decided to change the title. As you will be able to
see later on in this blog post in the "Watch, Listen and Read"
section, I have brought the PDF version of 7th Voyage. There are some major
changes to the rules compared to 7TV, melee weapons are more unique and change
gives an extra dice to both attack and damage instead of one of your choice are
just some changes to the mechanics of the game. These changes I have listed
have made melee more deadlier for 7th Voyage. I am planning an undead based
team for both 7TV and 7th Voyage, but a physical team will have to wait until
December as that is when my Loka KickStarter stuff will arrive. That is if
there is no problems.
Sadly I did
not get round to playing any Skylanders last week, so there is no changes
there.
AJ victorious over Kaitlyn |
Next Friday
will be the three year anniversary of this blog. On that day I am announcing
several changes to the blog that will effect the Neoscream's Life posts. Just
giving you all a heads up.
Now for what
AJ Lee has been up to this past week. AJ appeared a whopping four times on Raw
Monday last week. The first time was when she was supporting Dolph Ziggler with
Big E Langston in Dolph's match against Chris Jericho. Jericho won like normal,
but after the match Big E and then Fandango beat the crap out of Jerico. Then
during Team Hell No's match against the Prime Time Players, AJ and the gang
came out to watch the match from a far. They were distracted for a moment, but
they manage to win the match. Later back stage, Daniel Bryan and Kane (Team
Hell No) were blaming the other for being distracted by their old feelings for
AJ. Kaitlyn was in the room and started bad mouthing AJ to them. AJ over heard
the conversation. Then Kaitlyn used the "C" word, which made AJ snap
and attacked her. Due to this thet were placed in a match against each other. This
was the second every singles match AJ has ever had against her former best
friend. During the match Kaitlyn tried
to spear AJ outside the ring, but AJ dodged her and Kaitlyn ended up hit the
barrier. Kaitlyn was knocked dazed and ended up being counted out giving AJ her
second ever win against her. The way things are going it will be AJ verses
Kaitlyn for the Divas Championship at Wrestlemania.
AJ taking out Danial Bryan out side the ring. Oh a great shot of AJ's ass too. |
AJ appeared
on Main Event last week trying to distract Kane during his match against the
United States Champion Antonio Cesaro. Again Kane still managed to win.
AJ was in a
mix tag team match with Dolph on Smackdown. They were up against the team of
Daniel Bryan and Kaitlyn. Sadly AJ ended
up losing to Kaitlyn. However it is shaping up to be AJ verses Kaitlyn for the
Divas Championship at Wrestlemania.
According to a poll the WWE did 75% of fans want to see the match
happen.

Now on wards
to the Cosplay Deviants sets this past week. On Monday there was a new set from
the deviant KawaiiCherry. The set is called Chief Guard and in it she cosplays
as Sadi-chan from One Piece. A character I have not seen yet as I am still at
the Amazon Lily arch. On Wednesday there was a set from the deviant Anomaly.
The set is called Shade Gel and in it she cosplays as Mina Tepes from Dance in
the Vampire Bund. On Saturday there was a new set with the deviant Freckle. The
set is called Shoreleave and in it they cosplay as Nami from One Piece after
the time skip.
Freckle in "Shoreleave" |
This week I
have done am updated Cosplay Card of Freckle and a new Cosplay Card for
Megumi-Chan.
Finally this
week's painting section. This week I am doing the sixth group of Super Dungeon
Explore figures who are the Egg Clutch, two Kobold Ogres and two Kobold
Warrens.
Group Six |
Drake team COMPETED |
Groups one to six all together. I really need to split this onto two boards |
Next week
was first meant to be a new 7TV team who were going to be a James Bond Villain
team, but due to me wanting to get the minions at Salute I then decided to swap
this team with the next planned new 7TV team, my Bot-X team. However, I am
STILL waiting for them to arrive so sadly I cannot do them. They were slated to
arrive between 14th to the 26th of March, still has not
been dispatched with no word on why it is taking so long to be dispatched. Note
to self, avoid buying from Wayland Game. So I decided to do the next none new
7TV team, my Martial Arts Detective School team at 300 ratings (formerly named
Kung-Fu Detective School).
Until next
time, armour up.
