Welcome to
the MK HeroClix post. This is a weekly post with HeroClix news and results of
Thursday's HeroClix game at MK Wargames Society at York House. This week there was
only one preview and it was of The Joker from DC Batman Classic TV. However
next month will see two new starter sets getting released for the Avengers vs
X-Men event that will follow Fear Itself, an Avengers set and a X-Men set. Now
will these be public releases of Tournament only like the Fear Itself boosters
I do not know. Now for some bad news. On Wednesday I received an e-mail about
the A+ course I am enrolling on. The Course was meant to be on Tuesdays, but
has now been moved to Thursdays. This will mean I will not be able to go to
HeroClix during the course and because of the numbers dropping to three, Darren
will be disbanding the group. Sadly after two more weeks there will be not more
MK HeroClix. This group has been going on since the release of Marvel Armour
War, or not long before then and did split into two groups, York House and
Fanboys, until Fanboys our local comic book shop closed down. Also Milton
Keynes was the European Head Quarters for WizKids and the place where we had
the UK Nationals and big UK events back when they were owned by Topps, which
makes this a sad day for Gaming and HeroClix in the UK, or at least to me.
Sadly due to
the brothers cancelling this week at the last moment there was no HeroClix this
week. Please I ended up board stiff wait for over an hour at York House as I
forgot my phone and missed the message that they cancelled. Face Palm.
