Heroclix 10th of February, Crisis on Infinite Earths: Week Eleven

Welcome to another Heroclix post. This week is Week Eleven of the Campaign and is the second week of the Final part of the campaign. As we thought it will only be the four of us this week there will be only three rounds this week as Adam was away on a trip. This week builds were, Round Thirty-Two is a 500 points game, Round Thirty-Three is a 600 points game and Round Thirty-Four is a 400 points game. However at the very last moment Luke one of our old players returned after over two year of being away from the game.

So Round Thirty-Two is a 500 points game. This was meant to be the last round of last week, but due to time was moved to this week. It was an X-Men team with a new recruit.

Alex Summers (LE Mutant Mayhem) 35
Beast (Mutations and Monsters) 73
Cuckoo (Mutations and Monsters) 40
Cyclops (Mutations and Monsters) 50
Havok (Vet Mutant Mayhem) 44
Jean Grey (Rook Universe) 31
Karma (Vet Fantastic Forces) 59
Storm (Danger Room) 40
Warpath (Web of Spiderman) 70 + X-Force 4 = 74
Shadowcat (Exp Sinister) 54
=500 points and a whopping five re-rolls.

I went up against Michael’s 500 points team that was heavy under. He was using a non themed marvel villain’s team with:

Enchantress (Hammer of Thor) 141
Spiderman (Mutations and Monsters) 41
Moloid (Mutations and Monsters) 15
Dr. Octopus (Mutations and Monsters) 69
=266 points and no re-rolls.

It was the strong verses the weak in this game. I destroied his team. I not too happy about it as it felt too much like picking on the weak.

Next was Round Thirty-Three is a 600 points game. I decided to build an Avengers team here hoping I do not go ageist Darren's beeping Thunderbolts team again. I recruited a new character too for this team as I thought TK would be useful.

Echo (Vet Armour Wars) 38
Iron Fist (Secret Invasion) 70
Iron Man (Supernova) 160 + Stunning Blow Feat 10 = 170
Quicksilver (Exp Armour Wars) 62
Scarlet Witch (Rook Infinity Challenge) 29
Spider-Girl (Secret Invasion) 77
Spider-Man (Secret Invasion) 50
Justice (Supernova) 94
=590 points and four re-rolls.

I was up against Darren. Luckily he was not using his damn Thunderbolts team. His 600 points team was a JSA themed team, who were:

Jakeem Thunder (Origin) 126 + Coordination (Feat) 6 = 132
Liberty Belle (Crisis) 84
Sandman (Origin) 59 + Coordination (Feat) 6 = 65
Wildcat (Rook Origins) 54
Jade (Rook Legacy) 64
Stargirl (Rook Legacy) 63
Green Lantern (75th) 145
=607 points and ? re-rolls.

According to Darren he did not give Jakeem and Sandman their feat for this game as it would bring too high so the real team build is 595 points. However, earlier on in the Campaign he was telling people that be careful when giving characters feats as due to house rule they will not be able to be use in generic themed teams and non themed as they are equipped with the feat. We have to have words about it at a later date. Well it was a legal game so stop mooning and get the results down. I manage to beat down the Green Lantarn and OKed Stargirl, but Darren managed to OK four of my guy: Echo, Iron Fist and Scarlet Witch. That lead him to win the game.

Next was Round Thirty-Four is a 400 points game. I decided to use the 400 points Teens team I used last week as they are all a live still.

Batman (Arkham Asylum) 64
Cosmic Boy (Legion of Super Heroes) 70
Dream Girl (Justice League) 50
Karate Kid (Crisis) 63
Kid Flash (Crisis) 45
Robin (35 points Crisis) 35
Batgirl (Crisis) 70
=397 points and three re-rolls.

I was up against Luke’s 400 points team. He was using a Gotham City themed team with:

Batman and Robin (Justice League) 138
Robin (Crisis) 79
Batman (Justice League) 75
Batman (Crisis) 90
=382 points and two re-rolls.

Sadly I forgot to deploy Kid Flash, so I was only fielding 362 points. Never mind. Sadly I could not hit his guys hard enough to being them down and I ended up lossing Batgirl, Batman and Karate Kid.

Overall this week it was one win and two losses. Never mind. As Phil is back for a week or two next weeks, the final week of the campaign will be postponed. Currenty not idea what next week will be at the moment, but Adam will be back but Luke will not be able to make it that week. I will try to post the event details when I get them. I will not be posting the force lists any more as they take up too much space. It was taking about two whole pages even with dumping the MIAed figures.

Sadly the only news this week is the preview of Shadowcat's dragon, Lockheed and The Captain. I am a Shadowcat fan and I can not wait to get a hold of this figure. Shame that there is not a new Shadowcat in the set as well. With The Captain, he is a laugh a power. The names they gave his power are so funny. Would like to see have he plays like.

This week's Dreamclix I am doing for ShounenClix, Marine Officer LE from One Piece (last minute name change), Touta Matsuda from Death Note, Hayate Gekkō from Naruto and the dial design for Flying Nimbus from Dragon Ball. For MAClix I am doing Omega Red, A.I.M. Medic and the dials the next two Zodiac Warriors. And lastly for MechaClix, I am doing a IS: Infinite Stratos special, I will be doing Ichika Orimura, Cecilia Alcott and Lin Yin Fang.

First off is Marine Officer from One Piece, the LE version of the Marine genaric. They should have a mid dial click of Blades, Toughness, Mastermind, Leadership and Perplex. They should have five clicks of health and starting states of Movement 8, Attack 9, Defence 16, Damage 2 and Range 4 with one target. They should have the ? TA and the keyword Marine.

Next is Touta Matsuda from Death Note. Touta’s policing skills are lacking in experience, hence he somewhat impedes the investigation process. His brash attitude can get him into tricky situations at times, much to the irritation of his peers. However this young detective has a few resourceful strengths that make his attitude all the more useful. Despite his not having much experience in the NPA, Matsuda has proven to be a remarkable man. In many instances he was useful or even crucial to the success of a mission because of that ability, even saving Chief Yagami's life during the mafia infiltration to find Mello. Showing great proficiency in his almost instant responsive reactions to tight situations, Matsuda has demonstrated skill in the field of infiltration both as Misa Amane's manager Taro Matsui, and in the case of Yotsuba. Remarkably, his television habit can be a resourceful asset to the investigation team-- though its importance is rather insignificant. Despite his child-like, naïve personality, Matsuda manages to stay through through quite a few dangerous situations, committing to the NPA far into the future of the series. He should have only Perplex, for clicks of health and starting states of Movement 8, Attack 8, Defence 17, Damage 1 and Range 6 with one target. He should have the PD TA and the keywords Police, Detective and Anti Kira Task Force.

Next is Hayate Gekkō from Naruto, the LE version of the Konohagakure Ninja. Hayate Gekkō was the examiner of the preliminary round portion of the Chūnin Exams. OK this is a little bit of a jump ahead in time, but I was putting a list together for the next set and found I had one to many characters and I still needed to give a name to the LE in this set, so I decided to make him the LE. I will talk more about sets later, maybe in three weeks time. He should have Stealth, Charge, Blades, Super Sences, Willpower and Outwit. He should have six clicks of health with starting states should be Movement 10, Attack 10, Defence 18, Damage 2 and Range 4 with one target. He should have the Naruto TA and the keywords Konohagakure.

Next are the dial designs for Flying Nimbus from Dragon Ball.

Next is Omega Red. A classic Wolverine villan that has been in and killed twice in the Wolverine anime. To be honest Omega Red from Mutations and Monsters fits the bill, with a couple of change. Drop Poison, add a special called "Tentacles", move Blades to the last two clicks, add the A.I.M. Keyword and maybe the Hydra TA.
Tentacles: Omega Red can use TK and Super Strenth, however he can not TK friendly characters also after using TK deal one click of damage to the target.

Omega Red being fixed up by a group of A.I.M. Medics
Next is A.I.M. Medic. These guys bought Omega Red back from the dead. They should have Support and a special called "Temporary Fix".
Temporary Fix: Give this character a Power Action and replace this character with one of your characters that was OKed on its second to last click. Existing action tokens from this character, as well as action tokens and pushing damage for this action are applied to the replacement.
They should have three clix of health with starting states should be Movement 6, Attack 9, Defence 15, Damage 1 and Range 0. They should have the Hydra TA and the keywords A.I.M. and Scientist.

Next is the dial designs the next two Zodiac Warriors from the Iron Man anime. The one named Unknown is one I have not worked out its real name yet.

Next we have Ichika Orimura from IS: Infinite Stratos. The protagonist of Infinite Stratos. He is a first year student at the IS academy. His older sister, Chifuyu, is a legendary IS pilot. The siblings were abandoned by their parents at a young age and Ichika was raised by his sister. Ichika has a habit of personally assessing the situation with interior monologue as well as being easily guessed on what he is thinking. As the first male IS pilot, his new reputation has made him somewhat famous. He pilots the Byakushiki IS. From what has been shown so far he should have the Flight ability, Charge, Blades and Toughness. He should have five with starting states should be Movement 12, Attack 9, Defence 18, Damage 2 and Range 0. He should have the IS TA, which at the moment I would say should be the the wild card, and the keywords Armour and Teen.

Next is Cecilia Alcott from IS: Infinite Stratos. Cecilia is a first year student at the IS academy and is the IS cadet representative from England, as part of the British Aristrocracy. Her father was a weak and timid man who had little influence both outside and inside the Alcott family which made her swore to never marry a weak man. She was orphaned 3 years ago after a train accident and was forced to protect her family fortune from those who wish to claim a stake of it. She pilots the Blue Tears IS. From what has been shown so far she should have the Flight ability, Running Shot, Energy Explosion, Invulnerability, Toughness and Range Combat Expert. She should have five with starting states should be Movement 8, Attack 9, Defence 17, Damage 2 and Range 10 with one target. She should have the IS TA and the keywords Armour and Teen.

Lastly we have Lin Yin Fang from IS: Infinite Stratos. The Chinese Representative of the Infinite Stratos Academy and the pilot of the Shen Long, Lin Yin is the second childhood friend of Ichika. She was best friends with Ichika during their days in Junior High School and had a crush on him because of him standing up for her when several kids bullied her due to her nationality. Of all of the cast members perhaps the most open to physical interaction with him. During her stay in Japan, Ichika would visit her family's restaurant as his sister was out at work most of the time and she is a natural cook. Before she left however, she made a promise to him that he would marry her if she could cook well for him. Ichika however mistook that for free food. From what has been shown so far she should have the Flight ability, Blades, Toughness and Range Combat Expert. She should have five with starting states should be Movement 6, Attack 9, Defence 16, Damage 2 and Range 6 with one target. She should have the IS TA and the keywords Armour and Teen.

Next time in DreamClix I am planning on doing for ShounenClix Ichigo Kurosaki released sword version from Bleach, Bardock from Dragon Ball, maybe Kuina from One Piece and the dial design for Ichigo Kurosaki human form version from Bleach. For MAClix I will be doing the dial designs Captain Nagato Sakurai in and out of the Ramon Zero armour and for MechaClix I be doing Mecha Jetter, Priestol Q and maybe Goblin from Cosmic Break. Until next time, have fun.
