Heroclix 25th March the SHIELD Army
This week’s event is AFTERMATH! With all the heavy hitters off planet dealing with the latest intergalactic treat, it falls to lesser hero’s (or villains) to save the day! 600 points, 4 actions a turn, no figure above 140 points including feats. So with the points limit I cannot use figures like the new Thor or any good Iron Man ones. 600 points is too much for a Batman team. This is a pain as 600 is too much without any high cost figures and 4 action is a little low for an army of grunts or is it? Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division might be an idea.
After look at Battle Planner, the software I use to build teams with, I managed to build a 12 man S.H.I.E.L.D. team. They were Nick Fury, Dum Dum Dugan, Captain America, Domino, Sharon Carter, Winter Soldier, Wolverine, 2 x Mandroid Armor and 2 x SHIELD Sniper. I manage to win two out of three games with the team.
On the 8th April we will be running a event I have planned. It will be 500 points, 3 actions a turn, must be a non-generic theme team. My team is already planned and it will be Iron Man, Thor and Captain America.
OK, it is best explain what HeroClix is for people who do not known the game, HeroClix is a collectible miniatures game originally designed and produced by WizKids, and now owned and marketed by NECA. Players construct teams of comic book heroes and villains and play out a battle between the teams turn-by-turn on a grid map.
